Name: Eliana Burland
Nationality: Australian
Gender: Female
Appearance:
a84513d5577a8cf69cdabfa63ec030b4.jpg

Height: 5'8
Weight: 74kg

Background: Being quite the con artist it wasn't a surprise when Elaina was called on such a mission and she accepted the job almost immediately, other than friends and family she had nothing tying her life down back home all she really left behind was a business and even then she got a close acquaintance of hers to run it till she returned... if she returned. The only real reason she took this job wasn't for the money or the glory it was for the possibility to branch out and create a few business partners and for the chance to really challenge herself in her persuasion. Now lets talk about how Elaina herself became a con artist. She only really came a con artist for the thrill but slowly as she progressed it became more about money and having a successful business. Her business is quite simple she sells things, she ranges from jewels to antiques and every thing she sells is so overly priced you would think that they are actually real and occasionally dappling into top secret information.

Personality: As her skill suggests she is quite persuasive but at the same time she is fun loving and loyal despite her job being filled with lies and deceit. She is by no means the most honest person on the planet but if it doesn't affect her work she is quite honest with people she considers friends. For the most part Elaina doesn't reveal a lot about herself, keeping her business life and her private life completely separate unless she trusts you with her life all you will find out about her is her name and her age. At first glance you wouldn't think Elaina is a con artist, when not trying to persuade someone she is polite and kind and is quite easy going.

Special Skills: Elaina has always been quite the con artist, persuading those for information or for access that she wouldn't have or making them believe anything she wants them to. Its extremely rare for her not to be successful in her persuasion, she can get anything out of you even the deepest darkest secrets you wouldn't tell your own mother. She just has that effect on people, she has found that people trust her just from a simple introduction. Now don't get her wrong she isn't just a persuasive person she can handle herself in a fight but by no means is she an expert or very good at it, she can throw a punch or two but she greatly prefers using her so called diplomacy to win her battles or just using their private information against them.

Special Knowledge: Elaina is very unique in her knowledge, being such a con artist you would think she knew a lot about law and everything to do with that but no her skill is jewels. She can tell you if a jewel is fake or real just by looking at it although whether or not you believe her that is up to you. She also has an incredible memory, anything someone tells her she will immediately hold onto that information to be used against them later on

Deangelo Briggs
"Just get the fuck in the car."

Name: Deangelo Briggs
Nicknames: 'De', 'Bri', 'Taxi!'
Nationality: American
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Height: 6'2
Weight: 232 lbs
dude.jpg

Background
Pressure, a driving force in society, enough pressure and you can push somebody to do anything, Deangelo was a victim of pressure.
De was always the guy to be wrapped up in the wrong situation at the wrong time, it certainly didn't help him whilst growing up in the Bronx. At 12, Deangelo joined a gang, he wasn't much for minimum wage and loved the wealth, but it wasn't so much a gang as it was an organisation, they were sophisticated and instituted, they had roles, leaders, hell probably a legal team if he knew anything, Deangelo started off doing small jobs, manufacturing, guarding, messaging, it took him a year to even be recognised as he was a courier for the organisation, he moved all sorts of goods, weapons, drugs, artefacts, if it was illegal Deangelo was taking it to the collection point; 'Minding your damn business' was an instinct that he had to develop in his craft, curiosity got people killed and Deangelo valued living. It was at 15 when he started peeking in the boxes, and low and behold, Deangelo found magic equipment, from amulets and rings to gauntlets and tridents. The riches and power lured Deangelo closer, he started trying to get involved with the inner workings of the gang, it was a big mistake. At 17 De got caught, he was filing the goods that were being imported and exported, and whilst searching through the boxes he was spotted.

As he was being reported, Deangelo knew the dream was over, so he grabbed a random artefact and dashed. Forced into hiding, De had lost the lavish wealth and became a Taxi Driver, this was due to the artefact, it appeared to change him, he couldn't quite pin the advancements exactly but it gave him an affinity for cars, driving soon became an art to Deangelo, and at 18 he was back in the criminal world, he was recruited by a client of his Taxi service, it was a sharp looking woman, she had a glare in her eye. The jobs were simple, drive, and drive fast. This was an easy feat for both Deangelo and the Amulet. Deangelo is the best of the best when it comes to get-away driving, so much so it carries over into himself, he knows the mix between sneaky and speedy and he uses it well.

Now 23 years old, Deangelo is often offered to do heists, from small fry to heated ones, but the vault of thieves, that's a score too big to pass up!

Personality: Deangelo is a very cheeky man, whilst laid-back he does often have a plan to save others, but how and when he thought of it is a scary thought, to say the least, he's not calculated but he's got a 7th sense. Among that, however, he's quite deceptive and charismatic, traits of a good taxi-driver. The only problem with Deangelo is he's too opportunistic, if it presents itself Deangelo has no self-control to go after the glowing sign.

Special Skills
Driving, Deangelo is a speed demon behind the wheel, punctuality is key, with style coming next as the lock. Just know that if you're in a car with Deangelo you're going to come out first and safe, but, when he is not in the comfort of his four-seated friend, Deangelo becomes a shadow, he can blend in anywhere, being able to turn a corner and almost disappear. It's almost instinct to slip away before the fight, hell, even be so many steps ahead that you already know where to escape. As well as that, Deangelo is a fully fledged detailer, being able to restore anything to it's once former glory, this has come in useful for heists as he is able to remove most evidence of a break-in after driving away.

Items
A stolen Amulet, Deangelo has no clue what it is or how it functions or even what it does except make him better.
A Bracelet originating from ancient Egypt, it grants the user enhanced perception and reflexes, allowing Deangelo to think quicker and react faster, it was an offering to the Egyptian god of travel, Khonsu. By wearing the bracelet, it is tethered to the user, meaning that Deangelo only benefits from it. Among that the bracelet, if worn in full moonlight, grants the user an increase in speed as Khonsu would have finished his duty.

Unfortunately, the bracelet is not all fun and games, if it is worn at night when the moon is either a new moon or a waxing crescent, Khonsu's Jewels harm the user, either pumping semi-lethal poison into the user's viens or causing internal bleeding.
Favourite Food: Spicy based, it helps give him a buzz

Loves: The Double-Bass, Talking, Hip-Hop
Hates: The Flute, not getting paid, Chinese food,

Average Wardrobe: Deangelo isn't much of an attraction, so he tends to be wearing inconspicous items, I.E: Hoodies, Jogging Bottoms and Trainers, the more discreet the better.

Natalya Borojevic
"Nothing is ever locked."

natalija.jpg

Nationality: Serbian
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Appearance: Natalya has an agile build, meant for speed, flexibility, and especially dexterity. Nothing is really out of the ordinary about her appearance except for her eyes; her left one is blind, pale grey and hazy, whereas her right eye is a deep, stormy blue. Natalya is one to dress for the cold, favoring monotone sweaters and skinny jeans tucked into a pair of boot socks and lace up boots beneath her long black wool trenchcoat. Her trenchcoat is lined with plenty of pockets for her pickings while her sleeves and boots are reserved for keeping her tools.
Height: 5'5
Weight: 135 lbs

Background: Natalya grew up in a funeral home environment. Both her parents were morticians, but were known in the community as "gypsy morticians", meaning they accepted anyone of any kind or creed, not just those of the Eastern Orthodox Church - it was all at the behest of her grandmother, who was the actual gypsy in the family. Thus, Natalya was raised in the company of many cultures, mostly in terms of death rites. Her house was like a host house for the dead from many shores.

From in her early teens, Natalya began to experience inklings of sensations that weren't there; a pang of blue elicited out of thin air when she heard the sound of a chair scraping against the floor, or the sounds of a harp feeling like raindrops on her skin. She later found out she had synesthesia, the psychologic phenomenon that produced stimulus with the wrong sense; she had contracted it when she mysteriously lost her vision in her left eye. Her synesthesia honed her senses, especially her sense of touch and sense of hearing; she found lost items easily, or they would just fall into her hands when they were most convenient, all from following the trail of a color, smell, sound, or touch.

Her family treated it with superstition, not as an actual psychological ailment; they claimed the colors she saw were visions and the sounds she heard were premonitions. They really weren't, but she gave into their superstitions, letting her whacked senses guide her into some death trap that would prove them wrong- the death trap being getting locked inside a casket. That was how she learned her knack for lock-picking, all with the help of her synesthesia. No lock has resisted her touch since - it became a hobby, a way for her to control the sensations.

This was the first time she worked with her ailment; she found it to be an ally to her. Almost mastering it and decoding the meaning of each sensation, her family fell into some debt to the local mafia. Their family business soon became a cesspool of crime; her father and mother made to work as a personal physicians to the mafiosos, their new business stuffing dead bodies full of contraband. Soon enough, they learned of Natalya's talents and exploited them.

She managed to escape on a job gone bad, and has been working freelance or on retainer ever since to make up her family's debt, also making a reputation for herself.

Personality: Natalya is used to being anyone she has to just to survive, easily switching from her true low-key, composed and calculating demeanor to someone else - perceptive enough to know what someone truly wants out of her. In truth, Natalya is at first reserved and jaded, a "get with the program or get out of my way" type of person, just tired but not cruel - years of working within the confines of the criminal underground has still not taken her sympathy or hidden kind heart, though nowadays it comes off as sarcasm and cynicism. It just takes some work to get her there. She is not ruthless, but she is relentless and determined when it comes to protecting someone she values. She's just so used to taking her work seriously, she can't help but think everything else is irrelevant, but once something reaches the level of importance she values, then she will stand by them.

Special Skills: Natalya is light-fingered; not only can she coax any lock open, she's a very skilled pick-pocket as well. She uses her synesthesia for both; her sense of taste comes in as she literally finds the sweet spot of a lock, and her sense of sound kicks in when she pick-pockets, frequencies telling her which items on a person are most expensive. She uses anything she can get to open a lock; she's not the sort that needs a kit and it's less suspicious that way - conversely, she's an expert on any lock, from large vault mechanisms to the simplest handcuff. Her synesthesia also allows her to be hyperaware of her surroundings, making her a good lookout.

Special Knowledge: Natalya grew up in an all-inclusive funeral home and was raised to take it over, so she has an above-average knowledge of medical practice and the human anatomy, funeral rites, and the religions and mythologies of other cultures.

Name: Tyson Li Chase
Nationality: Chinese-American
Gender: Male
Appearance: dragon_art_2.jpeg
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 148 lbs or 67 kgs

Background: Tyson grew up in Seattle, Washington for most of his young life. His father was working as a consultant for some tech company at the time and his mother was a teacher of Chinese history and martial arts instructor. Tyson learned at an early age that information was the key to success in life. So he dedicated himself to learning all he could. Course his parents loved the fact that he was so dedicated to his studies. They wanted him to succeed in life so they made sure his studies came before he could play. Of course he never really had anyone to play with so he spent his time reading about the stories of Chinese history and lore.

Tyson was a loner at school. He was usually left alone by peers and often times forgotten about. He lacked any real presence which worked to his advantage. He dedicated himself to excelling academically. When he wasn't studying however he was eavesdropping on conversations. Since no one paid him any mind it was easy for him to simply blend in and listen on other's gossip. Learning all the secrets that people hid from each other. He knew that information like that would come in handy. One day he caught the ire of some kids causing trouble at school. He knew who they were, but more importantly he knew their secrets. They were bullies who liked picking on anyone who didn't know who their parents were. Some rich folks who owned a few buildings or something. They caught sight of Tyson and marked him for harassment. They belittled him calling him things like backwater or lower class. Typical high brow banter. They shut up the moment Tyson told them about their parents having affairs with each other and providing proof. He made sure that no one but them could hear him as he threatened to ruin their families unless they left him alone and paid him to keep quite. Two weeks later, Tyson came to possess $200 and a new laptop that one of the snobs had bought recently. It was at this moment in his life that Tyson validated his ideology. Information is the key to success in life.

At home Tyson would spend his time on the internet. If he wasn't looking up random bits of knowledge he was improving on a skill set he never thought himself doing, Hacking. If he was to sharpen his weapon against those who would hinder his success, he would need unrestricted access to information. From his experience though he knew that information can be bought and sold and it could be quite lucrative if sold to the right buyer. All hackers have a tag, a call-sign to go by. Tyson was known as D-Cipher, the infomation broker and hacker. D-Cipher could break into any computer system. Doesn't matter what you try to hide. D-Cipher will find it eventually. No amount of information was too hard for him to obtain. There isn't a security system that he couldn't break through. Like a dragon of ancient Chinese myth, he was a blessing for some and an omen for others.

One day while setting up a deal he received an email. It was about a place called the Bank of Thieves. A place where thieves store their loot. With top notch security and untold riches, both mundane and magical, he was asked to break into it. Tyson had never heard of the Bank of Thieves. So he looked into it. Oddly he only came up with a few bits of information. "Heavily guarded, magical items, advanced tech, untold riches." Not much to go on. But this Bank of Thieves piqued his curiosity and damaged his pride as D-Cipher. Tyson replied back to the email saying he'll take the job. There isn't a security system out there that D-Cipher can't break through and he was gonna prove it.

Personality: Tyson is secretive due to the nature of his business. Growing up as a loner he doesn't initiate conversations well. Often times he has others start the conversation and then he speaks. Still he has learned to socialize with people and can hold up a conversation well enough. He tends to skirt around or avoid questions regarding himself in an attempt to not reveal too much information which he believes can be used against him. He likes to lead conversations into the other person exposing information about them if he can. Though he rarely speaks and instead prefers to listen. He tends to be a yes-man. He just sort of goes with whatever others are saying and solves problems as they arise. His voice lacks confidence and he would much rather be at a computer than IRL interacting with people.

When he's behind a computer though is a different story. As D-Cipher, Tyson is confident as he believes he truly is the greatest hacker out there. He is charismatic and able to lead a conversation. He's witty and easy going and at times can be caught flirting. As long as there is a screen between you and Tyson and he can type out what he wants to say you'll get him to open up well enough. Though don't let that fool you. Tyson can be ruthless at times with his words. He prefers telling people exactly what he's thinking. His no nonsense approach can be off putting to those who don't see it coming.

At the end of the day though, Tyson is a cynic. He knows full well that everyone puts on masks to hide who they are, just like he does with D-Cipher. They all have something to hide or some ulterior motive.

Special Skills: Tyson is a master hacker. If there is a computer system involved then he can hack into it. He just needs time to work his magic. His hacking skills have also improved his ability to solve complex puzzles and process information quickly. Thanks to his loner nature and lack of presence, he can easily blend into a crowd or other social environment easily without causing suspicion. His mother taught him just enough Chinese martial arts to defend himself growing up, but he hasn't been keeping up with his training.

Special Knowledge: Tyson has an acute knowledge of ancient eastern philosophies (Taoism & Confucianism), battle tactics, lore, martial arts, and magical practices. Though he doesn't know that magic is a thing.

Name: Christina "Tina" Li
Nationality: American
Gender: Female
Appearance: Tina is definitely not the most formidable of people, standing at a measly five feet and three inches and weighing less than one-hundred and ten pounds. Indeed, with her diminutive stature and petite frame, most people can't help but to find her...cute. Which pisses her off to no end (it doesn't help that she "looks like a twelve-year-old", according to Tina herself).

Tina has lively, expressive brown eyes and rosebud lips that are perpetually glossed to perfection. Her sleek black hair falls just past her shoulder blades (Tina would keep it longer, but she always gets so impatient and loves trying out new styles). It's stick-straight, which is quite irritating (she adores curly hair), but otherwise Tina doesn't mind. She likes to keep it in a high ponytail or a messy bun.

Tina doesn't think she wears that much make-up, although some of her co-workers disagree. In any case, she would never be seen in public with mussed hair or broken nails (especially broken nails. Nails are a serious business!) and she loves high heels and cute skirts. Although her favorite color is by far pink, Tina's wardrobe is a veritable rainbow of all sorts of colors, from pastel yellow to neon blue. She also loves fun jewelry and has an obsession with hoop and/or dangly earrings of all sorts.
Xiao-Wen-Ju-Ports-1961-Spring-2015.jpg

Height: 5 feet 2 inches
Weight: 114 pounds

Background: Christina Li grew up in Los Angeles, California, and she's lived there for practically her entire life. Her childhood was pretty standard-dad, mom, annoying younger brother, equally (if not more) annoying older sister, et cetera, et cetera. Tina wasn't a star student, but it's not like she flunked out of school, either, and she had a great time as a cheerleader during her high school years, even if the thought of one of those handspring-handspring-handspring-round off-back tuck sequences makes her joints ache nowadays (her grandma would laugh at her for being over-dramatic about "achy joints", but Tina would beg to differ-cheer and gymnastics really fuck up your body, and she's not being over-dramatic!).

Tina went to college in California, too, and she majored in journalism (and minored in Spanish), dreaming of becoming an undercover investigative reporter-like the muckrakers, back in the day (in fact, Tina loves Upton Sinclair and the whole investigation of meat-packing plants that went on in the early twentieth century). However, as time went on, Tina realized that getting a job at the L.A. Times was not as easy as she thought it would be. Sure, she had internships and wrote for the school newspaper and graduated from college, but so did everyone else trying to write for the L.A. Times.

So instead, Tina took her career in journalism in a markedly different direction-tabloids. After graduating from college, she accepted a position at one of L.A.'s most infamous tabloids, and she has worked there for a good six or seven years now. It's not a bad job-in fact, Tina quite enjoys it-but it's not NYT-level journalism, either. But hey. It could be worse, and all the annoyed celebrities aside, Tina loves her job...and more importantly, she's good at it. Give her the tiniest tidbit of information, the merest speck of a rumor, and she'll spin it into a salacious, headline-worthy story in the space of ten minutes. Celebrities may hate her for it, but hey, a girl's gotta eat. Tina also prides herself on having a very extensive network of informants, from the hairdresser at one of L.A.'s most trendy salons to the manager of the local McDonald's.

Tina's job basically consists of basically stalking celebrities and finding something to make a scandalous, newsworthy story of. Along the way, she's picked up a few "special" skills, such as lock-picking (to search PopularTeenActress's home for evidence of drug abuse, of course) or, well, coming up with "alternative facts" right on the spot.

A couple years ago, she found this super cute compact mirror on sale at Macy's, and she bought it on a whim. She forgot about it for a couple weeks, until she was re-applying lipstick in the middle of sprinting after AttractiveMaleCelebrity's car to see who exactly he was dating, and the mirror miraculously showed her who the lucky woman was. Tina kept this on the DL, of course, and started using it to get her hands on all sorts of celebrity gossip. Tina has to admit-it's pretty legit (the deets she got on one movie star's volatile love life from the compact mirror paid her rent for an entire month)!

It looks like her luck has run out, however. Tina was contacted for her knack for uncovering information that nobody wants her to know by people who knew a suspicious amount of information about the compact mirror. They offered to hook her up with pics of PopularFemaleMovieStar's wedding dress the millisecond she made the decision in exchange for her cooperation in this heist, and really-who is Tina to turn that down??? Besides; she's curious, and she would appreciate a break from the atrocious L.A. rush hour traffic.

Although Tina's life is a veritable whirlwind, one thing's for sure: if you need the latest insider celebrity gossip, Tina's ya girl. No matter who, what, when, where, why, or how, Tina's always got the scoop. The credibility of aforementioned "scoop" may be a bit...questionable, but hey, that's just schematics. Beggars can't be choosers, yeah?

Personality: Scathingly sarcastic and stunningly irreverent, Tina Li may have found herself the perfect job when she became a gossip columnist. Indeed, Tina is rather shallow (and she's perfectly aware of this, thank you very much), as her life basically revolves around whether Generic Female Actress was dating Attractive Male Singer or not-and whether or not she could get a good story out of it. She has a dry, tongue-in-cheek sort of humor that is (more often than not) not kept "in cheek". At all.

Although she has a critical and rather cynical outlook on life in general, Tina is usually quite talkative and outgoing. Her cheerfully wry (if slightly sarcastic) disposition is well-liked by her peers, even if they do make fun of her for disturbing habit of sprinting after celebs after they've gotten into cars. In 6-inch heels.

Tina is also too curious for her own good-she's been known to follow a lead past the point of sanity. She loves drama and she loves gossip, and what brings more drama and gossip than a good ol' fashioned celebrity scandal? Flippant and impulsive, Tina is full of sarcastic qups and has an unfortunate tendency for making smart, snarky remarks at exactly the wrong times.

Despite her sharp tongue and dry humor, Tina is naturally people-smart and possesses a sharp intelligence and an ability to analyze all sorts of problems and situations in the blink of an eye. She is a natural-born diplomat and compromiser, capable of expertly mediating tense situations with her blunt matter-of-factness. She has a brisk, breezy way of going about her business, and she is remarkably good at keeping track of and managing people, for all her sparkly (and gossipy) ways.

Tina is always prepared for everything, be it a slew of paperwork or a broken nail (and if she herself doesn't know how to fix it, there's a 99% chance that she knows someone who can). Although she's quite flighty, Tina very talented multi-tasker-she can apply sparkly pink eye shadow while reciting exact date that some famous actress or the other hooked up with their current boyfriend, broke up with their current boyfriend, got back together with their current boyfriend, and broke up again with the same boyfriend while operating a motor vehicle (which is quite an impressive feat in L.A. traffic!). Tina has a talent with faces and names and picking up teeny-tiny signs-if you give her even the slightest clue, the tiniest hint, Tina will have the truth out of you. She is most certainly not as ditzy as she (sometimes) comes off as, and before you know it, she'll have the name of the mysterious woman GoodLooking MaleSinger was making out with at the club last night, her address, if she likes Pepsi or Coke, her phone number, her Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter usernames (and maybe even the passwords), and (probably) her social security number out of you just like that.

+Determined, optimistic, analytical and observant/perceptive, spunky and spontaneous, vivacious
-Kind of annoying, impulsive, a bit shallow and superficial, silly, slightly ridiculous, really extra

Special Skills:
-Tina possesses a sharp intellect that allows her to quickly analyze any situation from every perspective and come up with a solution
-Capable of regurgitating all sorts of facts and figures, once somebody fills her in on them
-A very talented multi-tasker-she can apply sparkly pink eyeshadow while reciting exact date that some famous actress or the other hooked up with their current boyfriend, broke up with their current boyfriend, got back together with their current boyfriend, and broke up again with the same boyfriend while operating a motor vehicle (which is quite an impressive feat in L.A. traffic!)
-Running in high heels of any sort (and outrunning you while she's at it)
-Tina is an organizational genius-she is prepared for everything, be it a slew of paperwork or a broken nail. And if she herself doesn't know how to fix it, there's a 99% chance that she knows someone who can
-Friendly and outgoing, Tina easily makes connections with people. She is well-liked amongst her peers. Her knack for remembering random facts and figures applies to faces and names as well
-Observant. Tina misses nothing
-Conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese; reasonably proficient in Spanish
-Will chase a good story to the ends of the Earth and back
-Can spin a good story out of the tiniest morsel of news
-A good liar. Which is pretty damn useful, given her line of work
-Lock-picking; she learned from her boss, actually. Tina is now capable of breaking into any one of Beverly Hills' most exclusive homes at any time

Special Knowledge: A ton of useless and/or obscure facts about Hollywood celebrities, she has the number to her favorite "source" (a hairdresser at the most exclusive salon in L.A.) memorized, how many times EdgyMaleSinger has been in rehab, probably ever actor/actress/Hollywood persona to ever exist (and if she doesn't know them, then they probably don't matter), has an extensive network of contacts and informants that provide her with a ton of information that she really shouldn't be privy to

Items: Tina's her smartphone, a basic lock-picking kit, and a pen and notepad. Oh, and a pocket recorder, plus a pair of kick-ass heels, and you really can't forget the lip gloss. The only magical item she has is a compact mirror that acts as a scrying glass. Tina's been using it to spy on Hollywood celebrities.

Trivia: Tina shops way. Too. Much. She's also really into satiric/sarcastic literature and dry humor; she was in a huge Lu Xun phase for a while, but she's found that she's in more of a Osvaldo Dragún phase, nowadays.

Tina gets hit on waaaaaay too often by high school/college guys who think she's ten years younger than she actually is. It's probably not healthy
