A cold wind swept across the vast ocean infront of the giant gunship "The Dauntless". Captain Minerva stood on the decks with her one hundred man crew with anticipation riding heavy in the air. These men and women were pirates and they were about to raid a port city named portsmith on the coast of Brazil.

A rumor had been spread around the pirate community that powerful treasures rested in the treasury of the town of portsmith, but nobody had the guts to try anything. Well that changed today.

"Load starboard guns!" Minerva commanded. Her smooth voice was echoed by the quarter master below decks as twenty cannons pushed out of the dauntless and loaded for action. The fog cleared infront of the pirates as they entered the bay of portsmith. "Fire!" The Queen of pirates yelled. Huge cannonballs exploded from the sides of The Dauntless and roared into the port town, taking out buildings and punching holes in defenses. By this point, half of the towns defense guns were destroyed.

"Into the boats!" Captain Minerva shouted. The crew that had been above decks board rowboat to head for shore. The attack of portsmith was well underway.

As soon as the explosions rang out, Katudo was jumping out of his chair and then looking over at the window. Smoke was billowing out as there were screams coming from the outside. He shook his head as he knew what could be behind this.

Pirates.

The Prince quickly got himself out of the house after putting his boots on and making sure his bow was secure as well as his quiver. He looked over to see more smoke around the town. He couldn't believe it. What could pirates want here? Then it struck him. Overhearing conversations, he was able to learn of....some sort of treasure here, but there was nothing here. He knew that for sure....unless that was a lie. Either way, he had to stop the pirates. One way or another.

Drawing back an arrow, he inhaled and then he let the breath go, closing one eye as he aimed for a member of the crew. He didn't know who it was but it was the row boat coming in from the left. He released the arrow as he knew that he would hit his mark. After firing the first, he grabbed another arrow. This time, he shot this one towards the first row boat. He had to take them out one by one.

The shore city was his home, for the moment, but he had to defend it. Like anyone would. Even if that meant dying.
