Appearance: Is rarely seen outside of her duty clothes which are made of reinforced materials, every so often she can be seen wearing casual or sportsy clothes, often black, red or both. In addition to her blazing red eyes and fangs, her ears are pointed, though that is often hidden under her long red hair.

Abilities:

Aspect of Vampire: Akin to Mythological Vampires, Irina possesses a number of abilities and traits, such as;
-Enhanced Strength, Endurance, Speed, Agility, Durability and senses, more so to hearing, smell, sight and sound.

-Mist form: for brief instances, Irina can become a red mist and travel within her immediate vicinity with all items on her person for a handful of seconds.

-Wall crawling: Able to stick to and crawl along walls and ceilings.

- Fang retraction/deployment: Able to enlarge or retract her canine teeth for biting another or for fear factor.

-Blood Regeneration/Healing Factor: Is able to heal wounds by ingesting or absorbing blood through her body. This typically purifies the blood and removes oddities from it giving a decent rate of regeneration, including reforming severed limbs back to the body. However, it is not at a constant rate. Given her ability to purify blood and meat she consumes, she has an immunity to several types of sickness and disease.

Additional notes: Curiously, or expectantly, she does not carry a reflection and while mostly depending on food for most of her nutritional needs, she has been known to need blood bags to eat and to prefer raw or near raw meat.

Skills: Relying on her abilities for most combat, Irina has a basic level of training to standards demanded of the Gru and general education aside in,

-Grenadier Training: Trained extensively with the use of the GP-34 Grenade launcher and throwing handheld grenades, though she rarely has the chance to make use of this.

-Linguist: If only to the extent of Russian, Kazakh and English.

Personality: A bit of a troubled soul, Irina is a bit short tempered, cynical, aggressive, and super confident. known to curse and being merciless and sadistic in her combat actions, she is known to kill what or who orders demand. Despite this she is rather humorous and witty. While a practicing Eastern Orthodox believer, she seems very nihilistic and only seems to enjoy battle in life as far as others can tell. Well, battles and meat. While this may paint her as a villain or antagonist to some, she is noted for loyalty and reliability in service to the GRU and to S.W.O.R.D.

Irina tends to get rather angry when asked about her past or family, though for those in the know, it is hardly a surprise as to why. For "shits and giggles" as she puts it, she may humor those who attempt to drive her off with crosses or garlic, and while sunlight doesn't harm her, it does irritate and anger her, making her keep to the night or shade when able. Curiously silver does seem to cause an allergic reaction and even some forms of pain. As a result, she asks others to load bullets into her magazines for the AK-103 that she carries.

No overly feminine qualities have been observed about her by most accounts other than subtle nods in her dress. She seems to readily accept what she is, and embraces it in part, with her old life akin to a blur, she does seem to get depressed at times with having to have a picture or video of herself to even see what she looks like. Oher than that she's somewhat dependable for an ally, even if combative and direct in her actions. Her English is known to be without an accent.

History:
Born on the streets of Moscow as Mikhaleva Irina Timofeyevna, to a low-income family, Irina was given to avoiding her homelife given substance, physical and verbal abuse from her father and inattentive care from her mother. These absences became longer and longer, till eventually Irina just stopped coming home. At the age of 12 she eventually was caught by the police after constant reports from the school of her being absent and officials unable to get up with her family. Sending an officer to the house, the father was off his rocker, drunk and swinging a bottle at the police who gave him a good beating and the mother was found inside on a borderline overdose. When asked about if they cared or noticed their daughter was gone, the response was pretty much apathy or last minute covering up.

This led to her being assigned to a state ran orphanage in Moscow, the name of it long since forgotten, by design. Where while care was not much better, it beat the streets and what amounted to a criminal upbringing. However, orphanages have never ran too well in Russia or the Soviet Union before it. While she received an education, she did not receive much in the way of love and became all the more nihilist, all the more violent. Then at the age of 14 a surprise happened, one that weirded her out. A couple from the United States came to adopt the girl and a few of the others, this was a few years before the 2020 incident, back when such things could be dismissed and hidden the year of 2015. Led to an old steel works plant, a sacrifice circle had been drawn, a summoning ritual, the couple among others were up to no good and took orphans and the moronic and homeless to the area, offering them food, purpose, attention. Anything and everything, yet providing very little, some with the nerve left, some fought, but most just stayed in the circle, looking nervous and unsure.

It was then that hell started to unfold, unnatural things, things that at first seem to start in control, but then go wild. Deaths and Mutations, things that are now a foggy memory, a glimpse of a life not her own. A voice called to her, offering salvation as she stood there shellshocked for the briefest of moments. She recalls the outline of a figure akin to how she looks as of now. But then she recalls pain and power flowing through her body, the voice being warm and friendly, herself still here, but not the same, it was liberating. Finally at long last, all of her frustrations could be let free as she torn into the nearest ghoul like beings around her, even a strange wolfman looking thing. These battles she remembers well as herself getting stabbed through the chest, the wound closing as she sank her fangs, fangs that always seemed to be there into one of the attackers, she was hard pressed and things going against her as everything corrupted in that room went after her.

Overwhelming, blinding... When suddenly gunfire erupted from multiple parts of the factory, a loud and sarcastic voice calling out over a megaphone; "This is the GRU, lay down your arms and surrender. Or better yet fight us so we can kill you all without needing to make up much of a story." With the demons focusing on Irina the Spetsnaz troopers had clear lanes of fire and eventually cut their way through as she tried to stand from under the piles of bodies, a masked soldier butted her in the face with his rifle, keeping her down as best as able as another aimed a rifle at her head.

"No. We keep this one. She goes back to Grizodubovoy." It was the man from before, offering a hand to the girl he speaks. "I am Captain Filippovich. You are something, someone I would very much rather stays alive. Come with us." Reaching for his hand she falters briefly. "All things die sooner or later."

To which he said, "Indeed. What matters is how we spend them, or were you doing something better with your time?"

After a few days, tests and debriefing, she explained with what she could recall, what she is, or was. Fortunately, GRU knew enough to know this was a Fallen as those they captured would say. And then even more surprisingly the Captain returned. "I am Nikita Anatoliy Filippovich and you shall be a daughter to the unit and to me. Mikhaleva Irina Nikitovna. That is now your name, you cannot go back to the orphanage or into most public places. I fully intend to give permission to induct you into the Russian Army next year. To the 13th Directorate of the GRU. We shall see if we can do something productive with all that anger and rid Mother Russia of these pests. See if we can educate you some, or do you only have shit for brains?" "Alright shit head, we'll see what I can do then. Be a better family than the last one or I might bite you too."

With her new Family, Irina would have a very hard next three years and would serve in the unit as Upyr-6, or Vampire Six. Soon their after the 2020 incidents would take place and Irina was pushed forward as an MTF canidate at the age of 19, she has served in it ever since.

Equipment:
AK-103, a modernized 7.62x39mm AK type rifle with a 40mm grenade launcher detachment, given the urban battle nature of SWORD, she is very rarely able to use the later and only carries 4 grenades for it. Carries multiple magazines for the rifle that are loaded with silver tipped bullets.

Combat Axe: Carbon fiber and Titanium make up the materials used to construct the blade

4x combat knives: thin blades made of the same materials as the axe, mounted to her legs.

Fortified Suit: Offers protection from some fire, ballistic, slashing and stabbing implements.

-Enhanced weapons proficiency: Has been taught well in the use of knives, firearms and improvised weapons. One would consider it of a level to be the pride of several instructors.

-Peak Human Conditioning: In terms Agility, endurance, balance, reflex, combat prowess, stamina and accuracy she is exceptionally above the human norm. While her physical power may not be enough to beat heavy weights pound to pound it is still respectable.

-Pain Suppression: Trained to suppress feelings of pain, be they physical or psychological, and to keep in a fight.

-Sharpshooter level Marksmanship: Trained in the use of several firearms with accurate rates of fire and accuracy, with all manner of firearms. She is not to the level of an expert in any of them.

-Special Operations Operative: Trained in US Army Special Operations tasks, chiefly to handle counterterrorism, guerilla warefare, direct acion, counterinsurgency, infiltration, urban warfare, and evasion activities. She in addition is able to speak English, Spanish, Russian, and has a rough understanding of Standard Chinese from her Father.

-Mixed Martial Arts Expert: Learned a combination of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Sambo, and Western boxing and can carry them out to a level greater than a number of instructors, however she tends to use these within the parameters of US Army Combatives, to gain space to open fire with a ranged weapon or to finish a fight in the final stages.

Personality: Emily's personality is a bit to what one can infer from her background when it is learned and yet very different. Born to a family with a focus in fitness, Emily is very keen to continue this practice and unless circumstances force it she is early to bed and early to rise. Given this she is a bit disciplined, yet paradoxically lax. Her appearance often follows function over form and her hair as example is a mess. This reflects in her handling of duties, and she is noted as being determined when faced with grave odds and quick to act. She is not given to panic, nor emotionless.

In favor of working with others, she tends to have a sterner side and little tolerance for behavior from new recruits that would endanger or harm her subordinates, and prefers to keep in contact with them, or to encourage them to take part in her morning workouts. However, she also is very pessimistic, expected yet more allies will die and seems to focus on the mission rather than any truly meaningful bonds. Quick thinking and unorthodox, she has earned the title Reaper for having a high success rate and being the sole survivor more than a few times. Seems to like coffee and simple, quick answers. She has an air about her that seems to advertise "Seen it all". Which with her is more or less the case, seeing the furthest extent of the Arcane and the Eldritch, combating grave horrors with little more than the tools of man. She seems to think well of her family, but keeps her personal life close to her chest, rarely if ever sharing it with anyone on her team.

History: Born in Arlington Virginia to a Charlie Zhang and Alicia Watson Zhang, she had a middle-class lifestyle that was largely peaceful with great emphasizes placed upon physical fitness and activity as a first child of two, her brother Hector Zhang was born three years later. Her father was a Navy Seal, her mother a fitness instructor at the Pentagon. She was known to keep high marks, was sports focused and kept slightly above average grades, with some notes of her slacking off when testing was not being held. She would graduate and in what may have an act of defiance she enlisted in the United States Army where her physical aptitude excelled enough for a fast track into the Rangers.

Following this she spent four years in active service with afternoon college courses in the study of Physical Education and Language studies. One year into her next service review she ended up getting mixed up in a terrorist attack that made use of demons in its aims of silencing a peace negotiation. Somewhat successful in their aims, with Emily being one of the few survivors of the attack, the affair was hushed up and Emily was quietly transferred to civilian field posting on paper. In actuality she was assigned to Force 56.

For the next five years she spent her days cleaning up other unknowns and working in the dark, with more than a few victories and dead allies she progressed up the ranks till finally containment failed. Before she knew it, she was in SWORD in which for the next three years she spent time doing much the same. While it is known she had a private life, she has taken strong measures to keep her private affairs as just that. Private.


Equipment: While other weapons may be used her normal loadout is as follows;
UMP45 - a .45 caliber SMG with several magazines loaded with silver inlaid hollow point bullets.

Glock G21 Handgun- a .45 caliber handgun with a 13+1 capacity. Silver tipped FMJ bullets.

Communicator + spares, an in-ear headset piece, simple and effective, she carries a few spares connected to it to give to people that may end up 1 to 5 miles away from her.

IR/NVG Goggles: A high tech and low capacity set of goggles worn over her right hip, they have a six-hour battery life.

2x Flashbang grenades.

2x frag grenades.

Ballistic Vest with level 4 plate.

Combat Knife: A simple steel combat knife with a silver coating.

  • Demonic Regeneration - More durable than a mortal with a body that can regenerate to a greater degree without medical attention. This means Aki is capable of surviving and bouncing back from wounds that would otherwise kill or put out of commission a normal man. Of course, it isn’t so great to instantly repair all injuries, and as such isn’t worthwhile to rely on in the middle of combat.
  • Thunder Demon Affinity - Capable of enhancing attacks and skills with an electrical element. Additionally, she of course possesses enhanced strength, stamina, and heightened senses, however her highest stats seem to be in speed and agility.
    • Flash Draw - An iaido slash with the sword from its sheath. Enhanced with the thunder affinity, the demon is cloaked in electrical currents and shoots forward in a blitz of speed. She is also capable of using technique with the draw of both swords or consecutively several times for multiple attacks or quick repositioning.
    • Thunder Orb - A flurry of slashes and swipes around the demon’s person. Paired with the thunder element, this creates a barrier around the fallen before the electricity discharges around her.
    • Storm Bite - Coating her blades with electrical currents, the demon is capable of discharging longer ranged bolts after condensing them within her swords.

Personality: An all-too energetic and childish girl, despite her intimidating physique. Aki is aggressive, but not in the way one would expect from a demon. Clingy, excitable, and invested, the girl’s first impressions are often debilitating and draining to those around her, not to mention the woman’s energy reserves appear to be bottomless. Nonetheless, she is overall a very kind Fallen with a high bar for taking offense, meaning she often declares herself an ally even to those who would want to be rid of her.

While scatterbrained for the most part, the woman displays striking focus at times, such as that which is required to utilize her sword techniques, and ultimately feels a sense of duty to protect humanity given her status as one who can take damage and injuries a mortal cannot.

History: Formerly a relatively normal girl living in Japan with her parents. Any abnormality in Aki’s life came from the fact that her family had long-established ties to demon hunting with many in her family tree participatory to the Black Turtle and White Lotus. As the time of SWORD came, said members either retired or migrated to the UN’s new dedicated demon slaying force.

Aki, however, held a relatively simple life, albeit knowing about demons for slightly longer than she would have were it not for her family. Her father was a doctor and mother a teacher, while her uncles were in the White Lotus, and then SWORD respectively. Rather than burdened by the knowledge of what crawled in the dark, she found it interesting and idolized the work of those that kept the demons from destroying society. It was because of this ambition that she opted to enlist in SWORD when she grew older and, for the moment, nagged her uncles to train her in preparation.

However, the work of hunter and agent alike was hardly safe, a fact that perhaps Aki didn’t entirely understand until news came of her uncle passing away in the line of duty. Adding to the grief, while her parents were formerly tolerable of her pursuits or simply believed she would grow out of them, the sudden death so close to home prompted an epiphany that their daughter could be taken from them just as easily. No more training, a decision which her living uncle agreed on.

However, her uncle’s death did not deter her, rather the opposite. Such a career was not a game, that much she knew, however she now felt a need rather than a wanting to commit. Aki attempted several ploys to change her parents or uncle’s mind, of which none came to fruition. So, she concocted a new plan and sought to prove her ability.

Aki left home in an attempt to track down a cult, and was successful in this endeavor. However her memories fog especially at this point in time and become increasingly foreign. Flashes of pain and fear that one can only feel in a dream, as if suffering trauma in the first person whilst your dreaming brain tells you that you are someone else. Her concrete memory begins after, in a dimly lit basement surrounded by gore and blood. Out of the bodies, only one she felt as though she should know. It was then that men in armor and uniforms invaded the building and broke open the door leading up from the basement.

While strangers and not very friendly, Aki felt a similar familiarity towards them and, much to the dismay of the responding agents, took to them gleefully. The girl was happy and eager to do as they told her. While some took her for an idiot with a damaged mind, Aki did not go with SWORD simply out of a childish impressionableness. Rather, that same familiarity and those flashes of another life drove her forward, telling her that her goals and theirs aligned.

Abilities:

- "Foresight": As the name suggests, Issac's family throughout the ages developed a particular Arcane art to see into the future in order to anticipate when the next Demon threat would reveal itself. This art became so effective that it caused the Demons they were at war with to go dormant. However, the practice of this art has fallen into such a state of non-practice that the methodology of it is nearly extinct. From what Issac has pieced together from forgotten tombs and notes scattered throughout London, he has come to fashion a very rudimentary practice of the Art. When utilized, he can grasp at sporadic images and ques that later present themselves as a sense of "Dejavu" but are otherwise useless to the user.

Alternatively, Issac is able to instead "slow" his perception of time. Enhancing his reflexes and ability to react to his enemies attacks. Both abilities take a considerable toll on his central nervous system.

Skills:

- Indomitable Will: Through their will, the user can face great physical pain and psychological trauma and will refuse to surrender no matter how much the odds are stacked against them, possibly up to the point of cheating death, fate and pushing themselves past their own limitations. Any abilities that affect or control the mind are useless against them, and serve as nothing more than a minor irritant. It will never break, it will never tilt, and even when a thousand apocalypses come, it will stand as tall and resolute as ever. Being split in half, locked in a time cycle of endless agony for thousands of years, or facing the most desperate odds are nothing to the user.

- Peak Human Strength: The user possesses strength at peak human conditioning. The user's muscles, bones, and organs have been augmented to perform near-enhanced feats. With their peak human strength, the user can rival and battle against low to mid-level users of enhanced strength and mighty creatures. Due to their peak physical strength, the user possesses peak human durability, stamina and endurance.

- Enhanced Gunmanship: Users are able to operate all variations of guns. Have expert knowledge of guns and handling them. Users as well have excellent intuition on trigger-initiated, hand-held, and hand-directed implements, especially with an extending bore, which thereby resembles the class of weapon in either form or concept.

- Improvised Weapon Proficiency: The user, either innately or through training, is a master of wielding improvised weapons, allowing them to make do in situations that require self-defense or if the user is otherwise unarmed. Effectively, in the user's hands, anything can be a weapon.


Personality: In many respects, Isaac can be summarized neatly as a "stern old man" Though, this sternness is more so out of shrewdness earned from experience, than simply poor temperament. Accustomed to working alone much of his career as a hunter, Isaac has learned that it pays to always be on one's guard, even among a crowd. And that the greatest mistake one can make is to become complacent. This habitual edge to his demeanor highlights itself in his "matter of fact" treatment of the small pleasures and joys in life. Food is mere fuel for the body, just as sleep is taken only when rest is strictly necessary.

In addition to this grim attitude, Isaac is particularly distrustful of Fallen and anyone closely associated with Demons. To him, they're ultimately just a liability to mankind and willfully being manipulated for some hidden ulterior long term gain. As such it can be particularly difficult for him to work with Fallen or anyone directly linked to Demons. In battle, his general "matter of factness" transfers to his fighting style. Regardless of whether he's well prepared or at a total disadvantage, he doesn't allow emotion or impulse to influence his actions. Each attack is a measured one, leaving little wasted effort or room for error.

When not furrowing his brows in deep thought, he can be usually seen puffing on a cigarette or simply enjoying a cup of coffee. Otherwise, he is completely resigned to the fate with which he has been handed.

History: Up until the point of his early twenties, Isaac Martin had no connection to the world of the supernatural. In place of being stalked from the shadows wherever he went and battling with Demon manifestations day to day. He enjoyed the illusion of serene peace that accompanies everyday mortals who are oblivious to the perils of the spiritual world. Being born and raised in South London, he was the 7th son of an extended family line that had decided to move back to the countryside of their late forefathers. This decision would unconsciously signal the inevitable demise of the Martin lineage.

It didn't begin immediately, and happened so subtly over the course of several years that unless one pieced together events it wouldn't have seemed abnormal. But, starting with the extended half of Isaac's family, Martins suddenly began disappearing or suffering from sudden illness and tragic accident. To anyone on the outside it would seem more the workings of an aging bloodline. However, eventually the frequency of these events began to compound and suggest "something" was to blame. That something would appear before Issac in the form of an Archon, who would reveal to him the centuries long feud his family had waged with an unnamed House of Demons. Only recently, they had chosen to remain dormant the last few centuries, biding their time amongst the shadows as they watched the diligence and prestige of the Martin line as Hunters fade into obscurity. With the modern era swiftly abandoning faith in any threat posed by the supernatural, it was only a matter of time after all.

After briefly learning of the sorted history to his family's lineage, Issac had no time to process the information as the Archon hadn't appeared simply to give history lessons. Torturing him and his family, the Demon made Issac and his family its dolls. Puppeting them like strings with it's Arcane and Demonic influence, it wanted to enjoy the last pained breaths of a long time rival and enemy. It unfortunately would not receive the chance as under extreme stress and despair Issac's bloodline awakened. Though mortally wounded, Issac was able to kill the Archon's host that night, and if not for the appearance of the Goodman Group would have very likely died that day. Though, he would soon learn that his life was hardly fated to be that fortunate.

The last fifteen years since that day Isaac has single handedly rekindled his family's wars. Thoroughly investigating its history and connections to the Houses of Hell. In that time, he has become the first hunter of the Martin household in nearly a century. Mastering all the various modern and traditional methods of hunting different manifestations of Demons.

Today, he is an active member of S.W.O.R.D. Serving no longer with the Goodman Group, but with the Garrison Guards of London, due to his poor working relationship with Fallen and those linked to Demons.

Abilities:
☼ Familiars - Dmitri is able to create familiars from his own energy or from ambient energy collected from different environments, but this takes considerable time. These creatures are not simple and can not be instantly created on the spot, they have to be made beforehand, although if they are not beyond repair they can recover through Dimitri's essences or overtime when unsummoned. The familiars mimic real animals so they have to be trained, nurtured, and disciplined. If destroyed beyond repair the familiars are lost forever but their parts can be used on others.
» Agasi - Dimitri's first familiar that focuses on support & spellcasting. The familiar is able to easily kill a low-level demon. When Linked with Dimitri Agasi is able to cast any spell that he knows, as long as he has enough energy, but when linked with others the creature is also able to boost its casting speed and give the spell a small boost in power. Besides casting spells Agasi will use it's claws or fling crystal shards. Dimitri has created two stronger forms for Agasi that increase its capabilities greatly. Leopard form increases Agasi's speed but it loses it's ability to cast spells. Lion form increases Agasi's supportive abilities and allows it to cast areas affecting healing or defensive spells, but its speed is greatly reduced.
» Yasik - Is a snake creature that focuses mainly on water & ice-based spells. Yasik is a special ability is that it is able to split into a den of snakes, although this does make it exceptionally smaller, it does give Dimitri a lot of flexibility when using Yasik. If all of the snakes are all destroyed then that is the end of Yasik. When Linked with Yasik, the individual perception & evasion are increased, but how much is dependent on the person; just because you know is coming doesn't mean you are fast enough to avoid or guard it. Yasik has a secondary trait that allows Dimitri to either use ice or water as a conduit to summon it, which increases its ability for water or ice usage and it will take on the traits of that water. If holy water is used, then Yasik's attacks will be blessed.
» Shonzush - A large yeti-like creature that excels in brawling and electrical techniques with a massive amount of physical strength. Compared to the other familiars SHonzush has a very defined will, in that it does not follow Dimitri's orders. Due to Dimitri's inability to control Shonzush, he can not create a Link with it or gain any boost from summoning it, so Dimitri will only partially summon it to do quick attacks, such as a quick punch or a flurry of punches.

☼ Link Aid - Dimitri creates a magical link between multiple individuals. Dimitri is able to link himself to others or his familiars, his familiars to others, or other individuals to other individuals. Through the link, the paired are able to share augments amongst themselves, but the more beings linked the weaker the effects of the Link are. Dimitri uses this ability to link with his familiars to advance his own abilities or to cast particular spells through them.
» Sacrificial Pledge - Dimitri is able to offer something of his as a sacrifice to increase an aspect of another being he is linked to. Depending on the significance of the sacrifice the power may be exceptional or unnoticeable. When Dimitri uses this with his familiars to increase their power he offers up a body part and he will lose access to that part, but it isn't permanent as long as a familiar is destroyed when the pledge is cast. Ex: Dimitri pledges his left eye and Agasi receives damage during the pledge, as soon as it ends Dimitri will not be able to see through his left eye for some time, possibly days or weeks. If Agasi is destroyed then Dimitri has lost his eye forever.

☼ Close Quarters Combat - Dimitri was taught basic close combat skills during his training. he isn't the most proficient in close quarters but he could take out a few thugs on the street. but would probably go down quickly against a trained martial artist. Dimitri's close-quarters combat skills increase when he uses his cane as he uses it as an extension of his own body.

Spell Craft:
☼ Abjuration - Spells focused on barriers, augments, and healing. Dimitri is more focused on barrier and augment spells, but knows a few spells for healing.
Simple Barrier - A barrier that is..... you guessed it! Simple
Deus Corona - By chanting "Elemental resistances rise", the user is able to temporarily increase their combat capabilities quite significantly against all types. However, against particularly powerful attacks, the resistance added onto the user can be broken through.
Vernier - A supportive spell that, by chanting out an incantation, allows the user to temporarily enhance the targets' movement speed by surrounding them with Magical Auras. When cast, the target, and/or user, is able to hover around at their own discretion within said magical aura. It can be employed upon multiple allies, and also on the caster themselves.

Personality: Dimitri is a soft-spoken and introverted man without much of a backbone to speak off. Many times he has been lost in the background due to his unwillingness to speak up. For obvious reasons, people have questioned why this meek and demure man would even apply to be an agent and that is exactly why he did it. Dimitri, although skittish & fearful, applied to S.W.O.R.D. in hopes he could improve himself and break away from his docile nature, and grow a little bit of brass.

Dimitri's sheepish nature does not hinder his ability to show kindness and compassion. The young man may not approach you for a conversation but he will step in to defend others from a stab in the back. When Dimitri's shell finally cracks, his perceptive and caring nature truly shines as he reveals all the small things he's picked up about others.
History: Dimitri was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana amongst the live jass &soul on the streets, the bumpin' food that speaks to your soul, the rich history carries many secrets, and the eerie bayous that are seen as both sacred and ghastly. Dimitri was raised closely alongside his cousins and older sister but they were not taught the magic of any kind, except for a few rituals to pay respect to the Lwa.

Dimitri was a fearful & anxious child and his cousins took every opportunity to pick on him for it, although they didn't get too many chances when his older sister, Vonessia, was around. As the oldest grandchild, she was told to lead her brother and cousins in the best way she could, even if that meant beating them up. Dimitri's cousins may have teased him but they never took it too far. For the most part, Dimitri was never bullied except by kids outside of his family. It was rare for him to be by himself but every once in a while, he would get caught alone.

One day Dimitri was caught alone by a gang of kids from the neighborhood. He instantly recognized them as the guys who got beaten up by his cousins and sister the day before. They were angry and they wanted revenge as they saw him as the cause of their black eyes, busted lips, bruises, and scratches. The day before they had sent Dimitri home with a bruise of his own and as soon Vonessia saw him she was out the door with a few of their cousins not far behind. With the kids in front of him, Dimitri figured they were just going to beat him. He was wrong. Just as they were about to pound his head in, Vonessia appeared. The kids instantly backed off, except for one, Barney Hopkins, who glared at Dimitri with fierce hatred that Dimitri could feel drilling through him.

A couple of weeks later was a school field trip to the Bassin De Vintou Bayou. Ever since the week before, Barney's face held a perpetual glare whenever Dimitri would walk near. The kid would always glare at Dimitri as he and his friends whispered amongst themselves. During the tour, the kids were told about a few of the Bassin De Vintou's many mysterious, including one about the mysterious Lady in White, who grabs people up and drags them to the depths of the bayou to feed them to her pet gators. A shiver had sprinted down Dimitri's back, but it wasn't from the story. He noticed Barney mumbling something under his breath as he glared at Dimitri. As soon as Dimitri was away from the group he was pushed into the water below. Before he could react he was submerged completely.

When Dimitri resurfaced he was in a completely different area than before. Fear began to overrun Dimitri. He couldn't see anything beyond the tree line. Couldn't hear anything beyond the lonely sound of the mosquitos seeking his blood. Before he could hyperventilate a woman's voice reached his ears," Hey baby! Whatchu doin' all da way out here!? Oh...Are you Martha's grandbaby?," Before he could reply or gather his baring she had already knelt down and cupped his face in one hand,"Who yo parents? Cus you look just like Martha but I also see Lance in der. Anyway, let's go!" She had dropped his face and began to walk away. That was when Dimitri noticed she was walking on water as if it was normal. The child was terrified but had no other option but to trudge through the water to follow.

The lady took Dimitri to her home nestled on a small island of the bayou. She took him in gave him some clothes and allowed him to bathe, but when he was done he burst into tears. He was lost, alone with some strange lady, and scared. Dimitri felt hopeless. The moments after his tears began to flow were like blur for the boy and he doesn't remember much. He just remembers nibbling on something and then falling asleep. The next day the lady introduced herself as Madam Laveau and explained where they were and what she was. She was the lady of the Bayou clad in all white but thankfully she didn't feed her guest to her pet gators. The boy was beyond happy that he wouldn't be gator food and Madam Laveau was kind, but he didn't understand how he had gotten lost in the first place. With a short exchange, Madam Laveau was able to surmise he had been cursed and the bayou was just a conduit for the dirty work she also explained the rituals his family and many others did within their community were practices from Vodou, but they were only small spells for protection from negativity, and specifically from Majis. The ritual Dimitri performed was able to protect and guide him to the secluded area of Madam Laveau.

Dimitri and Madam Laveau attempted to get the boy out but the curse's effects were still active, so Dimitri was stuck within the area with the priestess. Originally Madam Laveau thought she would be able to easily cleanse Dimitri because she was a high-ranking priestess, but the curse was fueled by an immense amount of hate bolstered by a bruised ego and a possible strong bloodline. To occupy his time he helped Madam Laveau in any way that he could while she worked to return him home. Eventually, Dimitri was cleansed but two months had already passed and Madam Laveau would be unable to guide him out or help him get home, because when she became a priestess of the Bassin De Vintou she was cursed to remain inside it's boundaries, but before he left she gave him instructions on where to go if he wanted to learn more.

Dimitri was able to return to the outside of the bayou without much trouble, but he did have to trudge through the bayou more just to find people. Using what little he learned from Madam Laveau he was able to quickly find civilization and returned home. When he was finally home he told them everything that had happened, including that he was cursed and who was the most likely perpetrator. Instead of throwing a welcome-back party, they immediately went to the local Vodou priests & priestesses to inform them of what happened. and provided them a written letter from Madam Laveau.

When S.W.O.R.D. was created, Dimitri initially didn't wish to be a field agent, instead opting to be in the research department, but he soon came to a realization that he wasn't pushing himself as he should. He wanted to change so he applied to be a field agent

Sakre Lanmou - A staff blessed by the priest & priestess that trained him before joining S.W.O.R.D. The handle and tip of the staff are created from silver and engraved with ornate symbols that allow the user to further increase the efficacy of the steel through arcane energy from the user.
Crystal earrings - Dimitri keeps his familiars sealed in earing so he always has access to them at a moment's notice. If destroyed he will still have access to his familiars but it would take more energy to summon them
