Within the crowded corridors of the slums a neon sign that read 'HOTEL' flickered. Within all sorts of deplorable people were staying; drug dealers, hookers, criminals, addicts, any one who just needed a room to take refuge in. Among them some of the scientists stayed. Below them, in the locked basement was a terrible secret. The lab for Project R.

Beep... Beep... Beep...
The sound of an alarm clock woke the sleeping Aurora, rolling over to silence the damned thing. Beside her lay none other than Xander, her guilty secret. Part of her hated this, the lying, the secrecy, the manipulation. Despite that, she couldn't stop. His honeyed words drew her in, and he always knew what to say. On top of that, she loved his passion, even if it resulted in the mutation of her daughter. His daughter. It was his fault Val was like that. At least that's what she tells herself to avoid the guilt. The guilt of killing so many. But it's for a good cause. The guilt of lying about her daughter. But she had to protect her. The guilt of what happened to her daughter. She could find no Excuse.
Leaving Xander alone in the bed, made her way into the bathroom. She needed to take a long cold shower to wash away the sin she bore. If nothing else, the cold water helped pull her from her groggy state. As she stepped out Xander was gone, likely already headed down to the lab. With a long sigh she retrieved her clothing and prepared to make her way down as well. There was no going back now, she was too far in. This was what was necessary. She couldn't let people go on living like this. Catching her reflection in the mirror she looked into it. She saw someone she barely recognized. A strong woman, someone not afraid to give everything to gain freedom. If she did this no more children would have to grow up here. She needed to be that woman, and so she became that woman.

Bzzz... "Hello, Xander speaking. I hope you are ready to start a new week of preparing to change the world. You children are the future. Be strong. Now please prepare to start testing!"
While it was Xander's voice it was the same prerecorded message he played at the beginning of every new week that came over the intercom in the lab. This was probably the only way to tell how many days had passed for the experiments.

Down one of the corridors lay the many rooms housing experiments of Project R. Most of these rooms were bland and similar to a prison cell, bars and all. Within one of these 'rooms' a young boy's cries could be heard. He hated the dark. the only light to comfort him was the electronic glow emitting off Ryliegh's cybernetic body from directly across from him. He might have found it comforting if she didn't absolutely terrify him. He wasn't sure if any of his neighbors would be awake so early so he cried alone. With all this work up he risked an electrical surge, but the power suppressor around his neck stopped that. In addition to suppressing his powers it also acted as a discipline device, emitting a powerful shock if he miss behaved. All the experiments had one, except the twins, they had a different way of stopping them. And of course Val, who Aurora seemingly protected. Luckily, or not so luckily, Milo's solitude was resolved as the light in the corridor came on and Xander's voice came over the intercom.

With the lights coming on Ryliegh felt the power returning to her mechanical body and the plugs connected to her automatically releasing. Stretching her cybernetic joints she felt heavy but with her body being allowed to move again she slowly 'woke up'. She wasn't sure if she truly slept anymore. She dreamed like normal but since she gave most of her body up it hasn't been the same. Moving to the bars at the entrance to her cell she stood ready to be released. As she waited she listened for her brother in the cell next to her. She loved him, but he was weak. Because he was weak, she had to be strong. She had to be strong so he wouldn't have to. At least that's what she thought originally, but now... she didn't know. She was conflicted about this, as if she wasn't thinking as herself anymore.

Down a different hall Aurora could be heard going to Valery's room. The room was actually nice, furnished like a real room, it had a bed with dressers beside it, A dresser with a mirror, some lamps for lighting, and toys. And it was always decorated with what ever color Valery's favorite was at the time. After knocking gently Aurora unlocked the door to come inside. "good morning, I hope you slept well," She said happily as she closed the door behind her to avoid prying ears.

At this point Xander has returned to his office over looking the lab. On his desk a pile of papers regarding the tests from last week. From here he over looked all the experiments and would work on a strategy for war. While he's never fought in one personally he would spend hours pouring over what ever books and documentations he could find about it.

Alone in his 'room' Rye is leaning against the wall across from the door, awaiting for the well known sound of the door to his room opening.

Rye looks around his room like he has several times before, he stares at the nothing in particular.

He is just pondering in his room thinking of what his next test could be "Probably another endurance test" he thought, he's done them multiple times before.

He dosent really remember his life outside of the lab, all he remembers was the smell of a nice meal which he so longingly desired.

• Eden •

A soft, rhythmic tapping sound can be heard just barely as a certain brunet finds himself counting the moments that pass, sitting in the dark if his ‘room’. More of a cell if you ask him.
Eden drops his head from where it had leaned back against the wall behind him in response to the familiar voice from above, blinking as the lights were turned on, making him squint from the harsh and sudden brightness. After rubbing at his eyes, an almost wary gaze settled upon the door to his ‘room’.
He couldn’t help anticipating what might come next.
A soft sigh escaped him, and he mumbled something probably a bit crude under his breath, shifting his frame to sit more comfortably against the wall, if ‘comfortable’ was even possible.
He couldn’t exactly say the ground where he sat was particularly soft. He could stand, walk around, but a small part of him felt the corner was safer, even if he knew rationally it would make no difference. The hand that had been tapping at the device clasped around his neck ceased, dropping down to his side, mocha coloured hues drifting down to his lap.
He began counting the seconds again.

Valery had woken up extra early she was... overly energetic to say the least she had to spend the last couple of hours playing with the toys in their room and hanging off the ceiling of her room, with the long tendrils that made up her "hair" although they more functioned and sensory organs in lack of any actual ones in their current state, and well Valery was starting to get bored that was until the door opened up. Valery lifting the rest of her self up closer to the ceiling with a cheeky giggle knowing it would Aurora and wanting to give her a bit of a surprise. the scientist walking into the room asking how well Valery had slept the girl dropped down just in front of Aurora grabbing onto there chest in a hug the head tendrils also wrapping around to provide a bit more grip so the short squishy girl did slip while giving Aurora a big squishy hug "surprise Aurora I got you" she said giggling even more as she squeezed the Aurora a little more Valery resting her head on her shoulder "well... umm... I got up a little early... but i did sleep well" she said firstly a little unsure then getting more excited with the last part being her usually energetic self.

..::: Sebastian :::..

Sebastian's eyes fluttered as his vision was filled with a faint glow of light, signaling a brand new day for Sebastian's confusing and painful life. Sebastian is used to it though, he's been doing it for the past ten years of his life, he's grown accustomed to it and has grown used to being dragged around without his consent. Consent? At this point, Sebastian doesn't even know what kindness is. Everyone seems to be all out for themselves, nowadays. As Sebastian thought about his past few experiences in Dr. Xavier's care, he remembered the very night that his mother sold him to the doctor for his own personal gain. Sebastian was a foolish child and he hated himself for it.
Speaking of children, the cell on his right has always emitted these sad cries he can't help but feel empathetic to. Sebastian sighed and finally decided to get up from his slumber. About any minute now, the buzz should go off, signaling the true start to his day. Sebastian stretched his arms out and let out a yawn.
As Sebastian put his shirt on, the dreaded alarm went off, Sebastian sighed and rolled his eyes. He started counting to three with his fingers, and by the time he placed his forefinger down, Dr. Xander's voice echoed throughout the corridor, filled with other lost children like him. As the doctor started speaking, Sebastian started reciting the doctor's words, but with his own sarcastic tone in it. "Hello, Xander speaking. I hope you are ready to start a new week of preparing to change the world. You children are the future. Be strong. Now please prepare to start testing!"
As soon as he finished, he felt his words echo through his own cell, every person around him must've heard him since the child on his right started crying once more. Sebastian has always had a soft spot for kids because he sees himself through them. Sebastian walked towards the wall on his right, and he was correct to assume the kid was crying because the cries were much louder, even if the child was trying to suppress his cries. Sebastian wanted to do more to help the child, maybe to get to know him better, he wanted to use his powers to cheer up the kid through his holograms. However, the power suppressor around his forehead keeps him from using his powers.
Sebastian only kneeled in front of the wall where the boy's cries were much more prominent. He knocked on the wall and softly said, "Hey, everything's going to be alright, buddy." Even if the child doesn't see him, Sebastian smiled at a brick wall. To a passerby, he may look crazy and a bit coo-coo' in the head. But, truth be told, he has always been like that, ever since the doctors would have his mind literally be open for them. He blamed the doctors for what they've done to him physically, but deep inside, he has always blamed himself from the very start, from the very moment he was born in this world.

Titus had been laying awake since very early morning, he was still growing used to his new cybernetics and they caused him a great deal of discomfort, lying there, he heard the good doctors voice come over the intercom "Hello, Xander speaking. I hope you are ready to start a new week of preparing to change the world. You children are the future. Be strong. Now please prepare to start testing!" Titus rolled his eyes slightly as the announcment ended, it had been 12 years 5 months 3 days 7 hrs and 13 seconds since Titus had arrived here, he referenced the technical readout his cybernetic eye produced. He stared at the ceiling a bit more before sitting up, he tought to himself " how long before we get to be what we want to be, how long before each and every one of us is allowed to make their own choices" He thought about his sister Ryliegh and how she gave up almost all of her humanity so her choices weren't really hers anymore, the thought shook him, he didn't want that fate for anyone, thats why he did what he had to do to preserve what people he could so maybe a glimmer of hope could be found in everyone and they could all be set free. He was interrupted by the neighbooring little boy and his cries, he heard the other young man named sebastian try to console him but to no avail. Titus stood up, his long trench hitting his boots as he moved towards the cell, he placed his cybernetic hand against the cell door. "If not for this forsaken power dampener I could rip this door open and get all of us out of here" The thought struck him as he elaborated a small plot, but it was whisked away by a much more sharper cry from the boy, "How much longer" he thought...

"Hello, Xander speaking. I hope you are ready to start a new week of preparing to change the world. You children are the future. Be strong. Now please prepare to start testing!"
The lanky frame of the Projects very own Dr. Amon Cross strode through the laboratory's halls, the walls echoing the voice of his superior.
"Wanker." Cross muttered under his breath, giving a roll of his eyes.
He couldn't stand Xander. From the way he spoke to the way he styled his goddamn hair, everything about Xander pissed Cross off. And the feeling is mutual no doubt. But they had to put aside those feelings. They're working on something much bigger then themselves here.

Cross reached the door leading to the children - sorry. Experiments - and raised his wrist so that it could scan his DNA and give him clearance. A few moments pass and then the smooth metallic door slides to the left, letting him pass into the intermittent office.
This small room housed the doors to all halls containing the chil- ah, experiments. Sorry again -, a wall of possibly necessary equipment and tools, and several cabinets in which were locked the experiments documentation.
Cross reached for the bottom left cabinet, once again displaying his wrist, and then grabbed the file of Experiment #D760 Eden. He did the same again for Experiment #F317 Milo from the top right cabinet.

The room began to fill with the high pitched squealing of boiling water as Cross made himself a cup of coffee. While waiting Cross did what he did every morning and began to sing.
"Through the fish eyed lens... of tear stained eyes...."
His voice was gruff and gravely from years of smoking, but he doesn't mind. It add's an interesting texture.
"I can barely define the shape of this moment," Cross poured the water into his cup. "... in time."
"And far from flying high..." He began to make his way out down the hall towards Eden, still softly singing to himself. "... in clear blue skies."
His voice and the sound of long legged steps now filled Eden's silence, obscuring his tapping.
"I'm spiralling down in the hole where I hide." He now stood directly in front of the young boys cell, practically towering above him as his body cast a long shadow through the bars.

"G'morning Eden."
Cross pulled #D760's file from under his right shoulder and flipped it open, pulling a pen out of his white coat pocket at the same time.
"Not that you'd know if it's morning or not." He mumbled to himself as he flicked through the pages in search for a specific one.
"Any feelings of nausea, headache, dizziness, fever, or general sickness?"

The familiar voice of his handler, paired with the distinct, spaced steps pulled the brunet youth from his consistent counting, lifting his head up to direct a sharp gaze towards the cell bars.
He shifted uncomfortably as the thin, lanky form of Dr. Cross entered his sight, pinning the towering, bespectacled man with a wary, yet stubborn look.
Momentarily distracted by the other sounds coming from the rest of the rooms in the hallway, it took just a moment for Eden to speak, and when he did, it started with him tilting his head to the side just slightly.
“You always ask the same questions.” Came his mumbled reply, punctuated with a small huff.

His eyes wandered to the file held open in the Dr’s hands briefly, having become familiar with the boring cover after while. He wished it were more interesting. Everything always looked so bland around here- although he supposed he doesn’t have much to compare.
“I feel fine.” He followed up with after a moment, in a more clipped manner, his thin frame moving to cross his arms over his chest, the gesture guarded.

E had to resist the urge to mess with the power suppressor again as he stared down his handler, instead opting to run a hand through already tousled curls, which were probably starting to get a bit long.

Professor Doctor Harold Weir awoke as normal, his body beginning to hurt, because of his advanced age. Now he didn't have the luxury of advanced medical treatment anymore, but he doesn't mind. He does his usual morning routine, including extensive cleaning of the room and himself, and made his way into the lab.

Here Harold was met with a familiar message broadcasted over the intercom and the cries of Milo.
"Bloody typical, always crying. Ah, well...#F317 will break soon enough," he thought to himself while he made his way over to the twins.
"Otherwise I might request handling him personally."

Now standing before Ryleigh, Harold had his typical small and (seemingly) genuine smile as well as his notebook ready. He opened her cell and asked her:
"Good morning, Ryleigh. Did you sleep well? And are there any problems with your augmentations?"

Rye slumps down against the wall, awaiting his handler to get there he starts to think about what he had done before. He remembers when his arm were 'replaced'.

The unimaginable pain after the adrenaline wore off when his arms snapped is a pain he never wants to feel again. People say loneliness is the worst pain but rye thinks your arms snapping in half for some kind of experiment tops that.

Rye, after hearing the PA announcement sighs as he waits for someone to enter the room. "I wonder who's gonna test me today" he thought un-enthusiastically.

"Maybe I won't even be tested today, which would be a relief" he thought, even though he can't feel his arms or legs he would like to rest but he know that's not gonna happen.

As Aurora entered the room she didn't see Val at first. That wasn't till the girl jumped off the ceiling, pulling Aurora into a hug. Aurora giggled as her daughter pulled her into a hug. "Yes, yes, you got me," she replied happily, wrapping her arms around her gently. She was used to the sensation of of her body squishing slightly and the smooth texture of her body. Years ago she wasn't so used to it, and originally found it difficult to even touch her daughter. In spite of all that's happened, a mother's love has seemed to pull through.
"Well I'm glad you slept well," she responded, moving to sit on the floor and resting Val on her lap. Gently stoking the girl she surveyed the room, spotting the toys scattered across the room. She was glad her daughter was still able to have fun. She was glad her daughter still loved her. Most of all, she was glad she was even alive. Even if that meant Val didn't remember her and was mutated. "Do you mind cleaning up a bit? We'll have to go get Sebastian soon.

Milo heard a knock come from the cell next to him and paused to listen. As he crawled closer to the wall he heard Sebastian's voice. "Hey, everything's going to be alright, buddy." But was it going to be okay? Milo certainly didn't think so. He just wanted to be free of the pain and loneliness. Feeling the tears wanted to come back on he rubbed his eyes and sniffled.
"I'm scared, I just want to go home," Milo cried. This time his cries were louder but then he saw Dr. Weir stopping at Ryliegh's cell. Seeing even just the back of Dr. Weir was enough to scare him into silence.

Ryliegh could hear Titus stirring in his cell. He was as silent as she was, as per usual. Hearing his hand meeting the bars of the cell she turned her head toward his cell. He was probably concocting some half baked plan of escape. His dedication to staying weak but acting stronger really pissed her off. Given the chance she'd beat some sense into him. At least she'd try.
"Brother-," she started to say but stopped as she heard Dr Weir approaching. She quickly turned to face him as he stopped in front of her cell. She grew tired of his formalities, and her uninterested expression really showed it. At this point she was here to become strong, unlike those around her that resisted the calling of power. "I slept fine. I do think Some areas have become a bit tight since I'm still growing."

"yay, thanks for asking Aurora" Valery responded still clinging onto the sciences, she really loved hugs the sensation she felt across her body was all tingly especially when she got squished a little to Valery it felt great and getting hugged back was even better like right now. as Aurora sat down Valery let go from the hug a little but kept her tendril firmly wrapped around the scientist, looking into Aurora's eyes with a big smile across her face as she stroked her it felt just as nice as a hug, well to be fair the Valery just reeaaaly liked physical contact because of the feeling it gave her. at the mention of the mess, she'd made some of the cells on her cheek turned pink basically blushing slightly kinda embarrassed about the mess, because well she should really keep her cell clean. "sorry about the mess, ill clean up right away don't worry" Valery replied with big almost apologetic doll eyes that were extremely easy for the girl to form, letting go form the hug and bouncing off to pick up the toys more tendrils forming to help grab the toys putting them back into the place with alarming speed, remember to put her favourite stuffed dog back onto her bed then running back to Aurora after a couple of minutes smiling "ok there all clean, let's go get Sebastian" Valery paused for a tapping her chin as she thought "should I wear something? someone said it was weird when I just walked around like I normally do" she asked aurora with a curious tone.

Sebastian heard a slight scuffling noise over on the boy's cell. Frankly enough he doesn't really interact with any of his 'prison mates' ever since he tried befriending one but lost him as soon as he befriended the poor guy. Sebastian sighed and brushed the thought off since it only happened a couple of years ago. He never bothered building any relationship with the other people in the facility in fear of getting too close to them just to lose them once he's grown attached. However, when he started hearing cries from a young boy, memories of his filthy mother flooded his mind. Sebastian was fully aware that the boy has been in this facility for the past 2 years. And, in those two years, he debated how he could comfort the child when he himself is unsure about what their future holds. Just today, Sebastian was feeling kind.
No one was kind to him when he was young, he figured his kindness would console the boy on the other side of this wall who he still doesn't know the name of. However, he does sometimes eavesdrop on Dr. Cross's conversations with him as best as he could through the thick-ish wall. Sebastian thought his name was Kilo at first... He was sure it was Lilo the second time then he figured it was Wilo (....He's still convinced the boy's name is Wilo.) However, he doesn't really wanna be rude and assume the kid's name when they're practically just strangers.
No innocent kid deserves this kind of treatment, he thought as a picture of his young self, all beaten up flashed his mind. Unknowingly, he used his powers and felt a slight zap on his temple. Crap.
The mild migraine he received made him clutch his head. Then, a soft voice responded to him, "I'm scared, I just want to go home,"
His headache faded the moment he heard those words. Instead, it was filled with the 'home' he knew. The 'home' he was supposed to feel protected and comfortable at. Sebastian remembered the 'customers' her prostitute mother would bring in and at that time Sebastian was confused and now, Sebastian finds it disgusting. That was the 'home' he knew. "Home?" Sebastian scoffed. How can I put it as 'nicely' as I could? "Well, buddy. I really can't do anything to help you right now. So just, stay strong okay?" Sebastian said wholeheartedly. He might've gone through some shit things with his mother and his so-called 'home', but that doesn't mean that Wilo here had a sad life like him. For all Sebastian knows, the little kid could've had a happy life before he was taken here.
Sebastian sighed and looked at the cell door, checking if Dr. Aurora has come for him, lucky for him, there was no one in sight to see what he was about to do. He placed his hands on the wall in front of him and thought about his happiest memories where he would follow the birds that would fly above him. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw his palm illuminating (as shown in his picture), signalling that his powers are in progress. Soon, the boy in the other side of this wall would see a bright bird in front of him flying around. "Hope you like it, Wilo." As soon as he said that, Sebastian clutched his head in pain as shocks filled his head. Sebastian quickly went over to his bed just to bury his head on his pillow, desperate to find some sort of relief through his heaven he'd like to call his pillow. The shocks lingered a bit, after he used his powers.
Sebastian looked up at the ceiling and smiled. "Worth it."

A disgruntled sigh escaped the doctors lips at Eden's observation.
"Yes. It's a medical precaution." His voice was like sandpaper and sounded consistently annoyed.
Ticking check boxes in his file, Cross turned his gaze directly towards the teen.
"This week experimentation is focused on possible variables that affect your anomalous powers. Some of them will be enjoyable."
With a tilt of his head he grimaced.
"Some of them won't. But as a part of this research, you get a brand new addition to your room."
He begun to dig through the pockets in the inside of his coat, giving an exasperated grunt as it took him more than a few moments to find what he was looking for; a small rectangular device, analogous to the size of cell phone, but with a clear blue data pad stretched between two silver metallic ends.
"A music player. Pre-loaded with playlists of all types. Including my own."
He chucked the device through the cell bars at Eden.
"The human brain is a complicated thing. And it's been shown that listening to music can greatly increase academic and physical performance."
Cross tucked the file under his arm and looked at the boy expectantly.
"Give it a try."

Doctor Weir's expression saddened, but he still smiled. His eyes seemingly sparkled with nostalgia, or something long lost to him.
"The beauty of augmentation, the perfection behind the metal covers and the neatly ordered inner workings. Truly a sight to behold every time."
He thought of the past and his now lost "artworks", but he wasn't really sad. That was something he wanted to use for something else.

"I adjusted your augments and I will work on a program that will allow them to automatically calibrate to your growth. It shouldn't take longer than a week."
With his saddened smile now facing Ryliegh directly, he let out a deep sigh. Weir put away his notebook and pen and took off his reading glasses.
"Something is really bothering you. It has been over the past few weeks now, I know that. If...if you would like to talk about it, maybe I can help."

Rye looks up at the scientist "no, like I have said multiple times before" rye says "I don't even think there is a way for me to be harmed in this so called 'room'" he says.

He stands up and looks them in the face. Rye puts his hand on how own neck and says "what are we doing today doc". "Is it me lifting stuff again? Cause I think you have more than enough data on what I can lift"

Rye walks closer to them "but I will comply And go with you" rye take his hand off his neck and it goes back to it's resting position.

Aurora smiled a bit at Val, but there was a sadness behind it. Her daughter was still so cute, but would she have been better if she wasn't an experiment. She was so innocent that she didn't deserve this. looking into her daughter's eyes hurt, knowing Val would never know she was her mother. The sound of Val's voice brought her back to reality. She looked around the room once more, seeing it was clean.
"Good job Valery," Aurora said as she stood up. She was about to move to the dresser but stopped herself. "How about you use your abilities to make clothes on yourself. Imagine the prettiest dress you can," She instructed. Even if she was her daughter Aurora couldn't neglect her job. If she did neglect her job to test Valery it'd draw unwanted attention. She's was given to privilege to be in charge of Valery as long as she still did her job. There was no doubt in her mind Xander would take that away if she failed to do so, even though she was the mother.

Milo was silent, and scared. Despite this, the boy's words of encouragement helped him a little bit. Even if he was still terrified it helped to know someone cared enough to reach out to him. He was about ready to just curl into a ball when the image of a flying bird appeared in his room. His eyes lit up with wonder as he watched it before it disappeared. It that brief moment a smile formed on his face. He wanted to reach out to touch it but it didn't last forever.
As it faded away Milo was left alone, but this time he wasn't crying. Something in that gesture gave him a bit of hope for something better. He wasn't sure what that something would be like but he knew it would be without pain and away from this place. As he sat there he tried to imagine what the world outside of the slums looked like. He tried to imagine the sunlight but it was hard to imagine something you've never seen. He heard it was warm and imagined it as beams of fire. No, that was too scary and painful to be right. Finding the concept to hard for his little head to handle to stopped thinking about it. For now he was here, but maybe he could make a friend.

"Yes, that would be more efficient," Ryliegh responded. She studied him carefully as his expression changed. Such an expression wasn't something she was used to, and she couldn't quite figure out it's meaning. While Dr. Weir was always nice she found him hard to understand, there was just something too him. Then he really caught her off guard. He seemed genuinely interested in her. But why? The scientist before him couldn't have cared less about her and her brother. Back then it was just become stronger and fight. Ever since Dr Weir took over it was different. Same routine but different energy. A different she couldn't decide if she liked.
"Um, well," She said, pausing ", I'm tired of this. I feel I'm above this testing. I want to fight." Her voice was strong and confident as she spoke. What she had said was true but she refused to share her feeling to about her brother. For some reason she couldn't bring herself to. It was her only weakness. She wanted to say she hated her brother for being weak, that he needed to be pushed farther, but something inside her wouldn't let her, her last bit of humanity.

Weir was surprised by her words. Not only her confidence but also what they meant. She was wholly convinced of the cause. And she was the most powerful.
"If only we could make more of her..."

Pushing that thought aside, Weir answered her plead.
"I...might be able to do something about that. It will take some time, but if you are lucky, then it won't take too long. Xander usually listens to what I have to say."
He pressed his fingers on his nosebridge, as he is thinking for a few seconds.
"For now, we have to focus on what is in front of us. And...there is no other way to tell you this. I am sorry. Your combat testing for today will be against your brother."

“Oh yeah, I forgot I could to that....” Valery replies to Aurora’s request slightly embarrassed as having forgotten about what she thought was the best part about being a squishy thing the shapeshifting “yeah I’ll do that right away... hmm” Valery paused for a little thinking about what dress she should wear with a little bounce Valery finally decided on what to wear her shape quickly becoming less well defined as mass shifted position unfurling out form her body taking on the outlines of a dress and a small hood around here body still appearing like extensions of her body the begin to change colour and texture shifting form slime to fabric, now fully formed over Val was a cute little brown dress with a bears face on it as well as a hood to go over it her hair tendrils hanging forward instead of back like they normally would. Once done she twirled around then looked up at Aurora “tada I did it, now we're ready rights? Let’s go see sed“ Val said excited bounding towards the door.

"it is procedure A607 " Brackman replied as he digitally logged the subject's health. staring A607 dead in the eyes having not moved or even twitched since he'd gotten into the room "incorrect A607 today we shall be doing something different, we shall be seeing how much kinetic force you can apply to an object" Brackman once again replied with a crip clean monotone then turning around and leading the subject out of the room and heading toward subject Z152 room two of his limbs raised in a striking position at A607 as they walked once arriving at the room Brackman opened up the door proceeding with the same response A607 had gotten "subject Z152 as you know it is time for testing, however, preliminaries require I inquire your physical health before beginning testing upon you, now what is your physical health Z152 have you sustained injuries during the past twelve hours?"

The brunet youth had been quiet whilst Cross spoke, gaining a confused expression which appeared upon his visage, eyeing the little device the Dr had fished from his pocket.
He had opened his mouth to question him, but not before the music player had been tossed through the bars, and he quickly reached forward to catch it.
He huffed, fumbling it in his hands briefly, before turning it over to examine it a bit. His gaze turned back up towards Cross, wary and inquiring.
“...Right.” He narrowed his eyes just slightly at the request to try it out, though complied, taking only a moment to figure out how to work it.
Eden blinked as music began to play from the devices speakers quietly, confused expression morphing into something more curious, staring down at the electronic in his hands, and
for a moment, it looked as if he’d relaxed, but it was gone when he remembered that Cross’ still stood watching him.
E turned back towards the familiar bespectacled man.
“...Thanks, Dr. Harry Potter.” It wasn’t unusual for the teen to address his handler as such, using varied nicknames quite often, actually, probably to get a rise out of the grumpy man for intertainmsnt purposes.

Sebastian sighed and got up after a few minutes of shoving his head on his pillow. He got up and slicked his raven hair back. When Sebastian stood up, his stomach instantly growled, demanding food. He sighed and glanced back at his bed, debating if he should lay back down. However, after minutes of debating with his inner self, he managed to get himself in front of his cell, waiting for Dr. Aurora to pick him up. Sebastian has always found it odd how his doctor would always be so kind around Valery, but towards him, Sebastian felt nothing but chills. After 10 years of being cooped up in the facility, Sebastian's grown to know some of the doctor's name by heart. Last time he disrespected a doctor, he got a serious discipline session that led him to give the doctors his respect and cooperation.
He's always been afraid of the doctors around the facility, especially his own doctor. For some reason, he always perceived Dr. Aurora as a mother figure to Valery... And, he hated it. He does his best to cover up his inner hatred, because deep inside, he knows the true reason for his hatred. His own mother caused him so much pain that it's affecting him perceiving the people around him.

"Well done Valery, you look very cute," Aurora commented with a warm smile ",now let's go get Sebastian." With that she turned back toward the door. She held the door open for Val before locking it behind them. As the walked to cells she grabbed her folders from the central room. As she opened them she felt herself sinking back into the role of scientist. Making a note about Valery's ability to manifest clothes onto her base form. Just as she finished they reached Sebastian's cell.
"Hello experiment M212," she paused to look up at him ", Sebastian. I hope you slept well. Is there anything I need to know about before we start testing today?" As she spoke to him her voice was calm and professional. While it showed no real ill will, it certainly didn't show much in the way of concern either.

"Thank you," Ryliegh responded, almost humbly. Almost. She was excited actually. She'd get to go out and test her strength. She'd be able to start a revolution. Finally she could prove she was strongest.
Her eyes widened a bit at the mention of her brother. She'd have to fight him today. For some reason this suprised her, even though logically it shouldn't have. It wasn't the first time, and it likely wouldn't be the last. Was it she was feeling sentimental? No, that wasn't possible. Yet some how it cracked her confidence when she felt it was at it's height. "I see," was all she could muster.

"Hello, experiment M212," As soon as Sebastian heard Dr. Aurora's voice, he straightened up and took a breath. "Sebastian. I hope you slept well. Is there anything I need to know about before we start testing today?" She said in a calm voice.
Sebastian looked away and his hands gravitated to the thing on his forehead. "Nothing you should be worried about, Doctor. I woke up just fine this morning." Sebastian said in a stern voice. "I just feel hungry as usual. Other than that, everything's good to go, doc." He said passively. "Will we have breakfast first?" Sebastian paused for a second, dreading to ask the question. "Or, are we just going to go straight to testing?" Sebastian took a shaky step forward, ready to follow the very doctor he's scared of. Sebastian knows that anything can happen in this facility he's grown to hate, so he just has to suck it up and deal with it in the meantime.

“Awww thanks Aurora” valery replied In response to the comment on her clothing choice, cheerfully following Aurora out into the hallways not even noticing the scientists shift in tone to be fair it was just normal for Valery and she wasn’t the best at reading cues. Skipping along side Aurora until they reached seb’s cell poking her around form behind the scientists looking up at seb with a smile. “Morning seb how are you?” She asked the boy curiously “oh hey what you think of my dress?”

Weir immediatly noticed her change in tone when he mentioned her brother. That would be something to keep in mind concerning their future.
"Please go into position while I fetch him."

"Xander, we are finally getting somewhere."
Weir was thinking about the risks and possibilities of actually furthering Xander's plans. But again, that would need to be addressed later.

Weir knew that Titus heard everything. So he approached his cell with his still slightly sad smile.
"Good morning Titus. Did you sleep well? Are there any problems with your augmentations?"
