Alec

He followed Jack up to meet with the Knights that had escorted Jack. When Alec first saw them he was ready to draw his blade, but Jack did his best to keep Alec from striking any of the Knights.

When the knights first saw Alec they thought of him as a human, that was until Jack explained what Alec was, this caused a bit of unease among the knights who distrusted anything Nasodic. "Jack this is a nasod we are talking about, they tried to eliminate humanity once before you know." one of the knights said. Jack waved off the knights worry, "We all have a bad history with many things, we've grown to adapt so why is he any different?" Jack said, he soon pointed out that Alec was found in ruins that didn't belong to the nasod kingdom but those of the Debrian race that had suddenly vanished thousands of years ago.

While Jack was discussing with the knights Alec wondered around, examining everything around him from the floors to the cracks on the walls, to the mold running down the pillars. Alec absorbed all the info he could get out of his surroundings using his database, even with the database if he doesn't see it first he won't be able to recognize it in his data. This so happens to be the same reason Alec doesn't recognize the appearance of his queen he had never met.

When the time came Jack and the others exited the ruins. When they reached the outside they all noticed the massive smoke clouds in the sky. "Fire detected, scale unknown, distance, 32 kilometers." Alec said. The knights expression widened when Alec gave them the exact distance and from what they have always known. Velder kingdoms gates were 32 kilometers away.

"Jack, we need to return to the kingdom, our commander might be needing us right now. So excuse me for leaving you so soon." One of the knights said. Jack knew the situation called for it so he didn't decide to hold them back and let them go off. With the knights riding off on horseback, the only ones behind were Jack and Alec, Alec seemed to be staring lifelessly at the smoke rising in the sky, Jack couldn't tell what Alec was thinking but he knew he didn't just want to stand around and do nothing.

"Hey Alec, you don't mind coming with me to assist do ya?" Jack asked. Jack had a plan to use the carriage he had brought along to collect any rare items in the ruins to study back at the kingdom. The knights helped escort his carriage here as well as be his guards in the ruin. Now that he hadn't really collected much Jack thought that maybe the carriage could be useful in Velder right now with that massive cloud of smoke hovering over it.

Alec looked at Jack with a stiff expression. "I don't know what I'm capable of doing but I shall assist." Alec said. Jack had a smile on his face, "Nice! With this I feel safer after the knights left hehe." Jack said as he stroked his head.

Before long Alec and Jack were riding down to Velder, at the time Alec didn't know what war looked liked and who was good or bad, but maybe what was about to transpire could open his view a little more on this current world.

Eosforos perked up when he saw Phantom walking up to speak to his leader. He noticed his clothing and let out a small laugh, causing Xavier to glance at the angel in slight confusion. The angel patted Xavier's shoulder to show that it was nothing and went ahead to take a step forward.

"The priest is right. I apologize for holding up the march and I surely don't want to waste any more time as there is a town to be saved. Of course, I'll just give quick introductions. My name is Eosforos, Eosforos Goldwing. I am one of a kind of an angel," Eosforos said with a small bow in front of them. He gestured to Xavier afterward. "This lad here is Xavier Necro, our lovely dragon tamer. I suppose he is the reason why these dragons are supporting your side of the war."

Cornelius opened his mouth at that but he closed it quickly after thinking back. Athena was a bit surprised hearing this yet it does make sense for her now that it was mentioned. Aragorn was just nodding his head since it was the truth. Though seeing Xavier like this was truly bothersome for the dragons.

"That is rather true...Xavier literally knocked some sense into Cornelius," Aragorn mumbled out as Cornelius only have a small irritated look. Aragorn wanted to smile at the older dragon for bringing up that memory yet he was a bit fixated on how Xavier looks. "Well geez, time flies up there, eh? They did some serious stuff to you there..." Aragorn said to Xavier, hoping that Xavier would talk but Eosforos bumped into that conversation.

"Honestly, you'll be surprised how much his skills change. Xavier isn't that same boy anymore," Eosforos mused as Aragorn huffed loudly.

"Hey, how about let Xavier talk for himself?" Aragorn growled in annoyance.

Eosforos chuckled in reaction and comfortably folded his arms. "Like I said, he isn't the same, beast."

Aragorn's nostrils flared in reaction at Eosforos' response. Something about the tone irks him a lot yet Cornelius quickly intervened. "Enough, Aragorn. We can discuss this later," Cornelius snapped at the red dragon. Aragorn blinked a couple of times before he finally eased up his anger. "If you want my word, I know much about Xavier and it will please me to have him fight along with us. I don't know too much about the angel but with a sword by his side, I am sure he can fight," the black dragon said to Lento.

The lizardmen were talking among themselves, looking unsure as they were casting cautious looks at Xavier. They seem to be sharing information until eventually, the chief's translator spoke. "Since our time is small, we feel fine to have the two of them join the fight...for now."

Eosforos looked pleased with what they said as Xavier seem to be studying each and every one of them. His stares were long and hard as if he was trying to remember something out of them but nothing seems to be brought out to the light. Though he does recognize Aisha a bit better than the rest. Probably because of the books she gave him in which they allowed him to keep. He made a mental note to himself to return them back to her whenever he has the time to do so. Besides that Komodo was already making him uncomfortable. The small dragon has an unbroken gaze in which Xavier couldn't help to glare at it. It definitely felt like he had some sort of connection with this dragon in particular but it wasn't hitting him hard enough. Or maybe he was just experiencing some sort of strange effect for leaving Ishmael's world. Who knows.

"Most of you seem to be in an agreement. We will provide you all the help you need for today's battle. Just say the word," Eosforos said, breaking Xavier's gaze on Komodo.

When Rain reached Feita, she couldn't stop the shock from plastering onto her face. The town...really was destroyed. A giant crater was all that's left. Demons roam the battered land, and Rain goes to hide behind a tree.

"How do I pass this without being spotted? If I don't want the demons on my back, I have to sneak around them..."

She releases her daggers and stares at the open land again. Heaving a giant sigh, the siren opens her mouth to sing. She creates a watery illusion of herself and teleports herself a few meters away. The echoing lullaby catches the demons' attention, and they eventually spot her copy. It scatters, and Rain creates another statue of herself, increasing the volume of her song so that it covers the desolate field. The demons follow her illusions like moths to a lamp.

Rain's heart is racing, but it was the good kind. She hasn't felt like this ever since she had to sneak into Hamel and seduce Ran in order to buy the Elgang time. Every step, every placement of her watery statues, every note is perfectly crafted to distract, misdirect. When the accursed tower comes into her view, she finally stops her song and takes refuge in the forest.

"S-Somehow, I managed to do it..."

There was no time to waste. She had to reach Velder before Lento left her behind.

Lento
"You're right, Phantom. Nice to meet you Eosphoros and...Xavier." The blacksmith said. He had a bad feeling to what happened to the dragon tamer. He had red hair before, but that was exactly what Ishmael did to her servants. Lara had also been there, fighting alongside the goddess until she was mercilessly killed by another angel. Yullr was also uncomfortable around the two, he was reluctant to let them fight alongside the rest of the troops, but Lento and Jabberwock were the bigger chiefs, the consequences would fall over their shoulders.

The travel to Velder was shorter than expected and their arrival was welcome like no other. They made it to the Centurion Guard's headquarters and a redhead welcomed them.

"Welcome, Lento, Jabberwock. We had been waiting for your arrival. The situation here is getting a little out of hand by the minute, so your help is more than welcome. I'm Elesis Sieghart, the captain of the Red Knights. Vanessa is out on a scouting mission, but we have more on the table. Follow me."

The leaders followed her to the war room where maps, alchemy tools and swords hung on the walls while a round table had the most detailed map of the town and some wooden pieces put over some of the sectors. According to Elesis, the demons hadn't made a big move yet, but after they tried to take over the 4th residential area, the resistance had been put in a bad spot. They had managed to stop their advance, but the demon forces still outnumbered them. The next mission would be to evacuate the third residential area before the demons could lay a finger on it. After they all discussed their strtategy, Elesis dismissed everyone but Lento.

"Does the name Lara Tureen ring a bell?" She murmured.

Lento let out a sigh and nodded. The knight asked him if he knew where she was after saving Feita. Lento's expression darkened and Elesis closed her eyes, understanding what had probably happened to her.

"When did the demons take her back?"
"Nothing of the sort happened. The Silver Fang fell after saving one of her allies. She wants to be buried in Resiam, once we push back the demons from the area, of course."

Elesis faced Lento stoically. She couldn't believe what he was saying, Vampires were immortal, as far as she knew. However, they were tortured souls and, if aything, that would let her generals finally grieve and move past the loss of one of their comrades.

"It shall be done. I can't ignore the will of one of the Knight's veterans. I...never knew her personally, but I know she was a great warrior, until the very end. That'll be all for the day, Lento. You must be tired."

His training had made his thoughts of Lara slowly fade away, but it wasn't like before; he remembered everything and it was because of it, he thought, that he'll fight for. He wasn't exactly under Ishmael's total control, but he was still fervidly devoted to Ishmael's goals. She was the goddess that would bring back the balance Elrios needed, regardless of how twisted she might be sometimes.

The news about Xavier's and Eosphoros departure towards the human realm spread like wildfire. Some other angels began to doubt of his strength, but they quickly discovered that the forbidden way of fighting and his control over creation magic reduced the gap between the higher angels and himself. While his hair was gaining blue streaks, he decided to cut it so it only covered his nape. His clothing became more adapted to his long-range attacks, while it also hid a magical armour he only used if he was forced into melee range.

Ishmael had told him that he'd need to wait until the battle of Velder was over before his combat began.

Now, he'd only have to wait.

Alec

"So this is velder kingdom?" Alec asked as he had begun to scan the buildings all around the area, currently Jack was helping some of the citizens he could into his carriage. When Alec asked what he could do Jack told him to just keep out for any hostile forces. When Jack tried to say demons Alec didn't know what those creatures were, from what he could tell these 'demons' didn't appear in the old text of the Debrian.

He was curious what the 'demons' looked like, why were they a hostile force, but he could guess why just by looking at the rubble that some of the buildings were left in the Residential District.

"Alec, I've finished loading!" Jack said waving his hand for Alec to come over, when Alec hopped down and walked over to Jack he took a peak into the waggon. inside he could see 15 citizens, a mixture of woman and children, when Alec looked around the corner the males were standing there as their loved ones tried to get them to come along. Alec looked at this moment with much intensity. He at the moment didn't understand the feeling he felt so he brushed it off as he sat down next to Jack who was ready to head out.

"We're a little bit over weight but hopefully the carriage will hold till we reach the Centurion Guard HQ." Jack said as he looked back at the woman and children, they were cramped tight but Jack tried to fit as many as he could. When Alec looked at their faces the expression they held strengthened that feelings he felt when he saw them departing from the males.

"I should perform a diagnostic scan on my internal hardware." Alec said, taking one last look around the area. They had been here for nearly an hour looking for survivors and not once did he see these 'demons' so Alec assumed now would be a good time to check his hardware as quickly as possible. Soon the countdown began from 15 seconds.

Alec once again checked on Jack and the citizens before returning his gaze forward. Upon doing so he noticed something strange up ahead, unknown to Alec, these were the demons and they were surfacing from the rubble, bows in hand. When Alec realized what they were he tried to abort the countdown, but it had already reached the red. "Alec! The demons!" Jack said as he noticed them as well.

Alec's expression turned horrid as he looked back at the woman and children, then back at Jack. An emotion took over his body, this emotion scared Alec.

7......

"W-wait!...Stop!" Alec shouted as he tried to stop his own countdown. He turned back to face the demons who fired off a volley of arrows.

5.....

One solo arrow caught Alec's attention as he followed it's path.

4......

His eyes widened in shock as he watched the arrow pierce the chest of Jack as his pupils shrunk is surprise.

3......

Alec reached a hand out to try and catch Jack from falling over but because of this action, the rest of the arrows that sang through the sky pierced the rest of the wagon. The sounds of children and women screaming in pain as the arrows punctured there throats and chest. He could hear those that weren't hit shouting out for their mothers.

2....

Before long Alec's emotional circuit began to shut down, all he could do was watch as time felt to slowdown for him.

1..

As his vision blackened from the corner of his eye, he could see a single arrow pierce his shoulder.

"System diagnostic commencing..."

As they arrived at their destination, Eosforos asked Xavier to relax for now. Basically, they got themselves free time to take a look around as they weren't marching for days. Xavier made a very small gesture towards the dragons who were settling down yet Eosforos shook his head as he feels like it may be too soon to do anything. With that, he left Xavier to do whatever he wishes to do. There was just a "big no-no" to running ahead to get rid of the demons as Eosforos wishes to be around for spectating. As if now, Eosforos want to do his own little personal stuff. Xavier has a slight idea of what Eosforos is going to do. He trusts the angel to make it back alive without a scratch.

Now that Eosforos left him, Xavier...wasn't sure on what to do exactly. Normally at times like this, he would read a book, meditate, or read a book, often train with dummies...yet the majority of the time he would read. It felt weird to be away from Eosforos. He went ahead to take a stroll around, seeking out for any sort of thing he could possibly do. Xavier stayed away from the dragons and strangely, the lizardmen tribe were giving him wary looks and staying away from him. He felt completely out a place, like a child who lost his mother in a shopping district and no one will help him.

After a couple of minutes looking around, Xavier saw the mage once again. He perked up and remember the books. Xavier reaches into his bag that he carries with him and pulled out the single book he kept for all the years...or days with him. Without a second to waste, he approached her quickly so she doesn't happen to leave without noticing Xavier wanted to give something back to her.

When Aisha look towards his direction, she was caught off guard when Xavier was making a beeline towards her. She had no idea what he wants from her yet after Xavier stood in front of her, he held out the book for her to see. Aisha stared at him in confusion as he stayed quiet but after looking at the book, she realized he wants to give back the book.

"Oh, this is the book I gave you before you left," Aisha said, surprised he kept it all this time. Xavier gave a slight nod of his head and let Aisha take the book from his hands. She felt like she should say something else but it felt to be standing in front of him. He is a completely different person yet there was a calming look on his face as he stared at Aisha. "I am assuming you finished reading this book. I didn't take you as a reader...before," Aisha joked yet Xavier didn't crack a smile or even a noise. Rather unsettling. Though as Xavier lingered a bit longer, Aisha was confused on what he wants from her. She doesn't even see Eosforos around so that confused her even more.

"...do you have another book I can read?" Xavier carefully asked, his voice was cold but it almost sounds like he was trying to lighten up his tone. Trying to sound friendly.

She wasn't sure what to even say, now that Xavier finally spoke a word without having Eosforos around his head. Aisha was feeling a bit glad to hear it too, even though it sounded different from the last time she heard from him. "Of course, I'm sure they'll keep you busy for the spare time we have here. Any kind of genre you're interested?"

"...story books," Xavier mumbled out, almost hesitating. "...fictional."

Aisha couldn't help but crack a small smile of amusement and Xavier frowned slightly as he felt like he did something wrong. Yet Aisha nodded her head. "I only have one. Mind staying here for a second?" She asked and Xavier nodded his head.

She briefly left him to get the said book and Xavier simply waited for her to return. There was something interesting about her to Xavier and unfortunately, he couldn't understand what that thing is. Xavier let out a huff for no particular reason and a puff of cold air escaped through his mask. He noticed the stares from the lizardmen now, even a few were observing his tail that was gently moving side to side. The cold feeling returned back to him shortly and sent a glare at them, causing the soldiers to look away and even backing off.

It didn't take long for Aisha to return back with a fairly thick book and hand it to Xavier. He studied it in his hands, looking at the cover and touching the spine of the book. "I forgot the last time I read that book so I forgot what it was about, but I usually keep books if they are important...or if I like them. I hope it keeps you interested," Aisha said, noticing how Xavier seem to have more space around him. She thought that there was at least a small group of lizardmen close by.

"Thank you, I'll read it right away," Xavier said with a small nod. He walked away from Aisha to find a quiet spot to read.

She figured he wants to talk a bit long but obviously, something happened when she left for a moment. Aisha only lets out a small sigh after Xavier left and walked around to see if anyone needs any sort of help.

Phantom had lingered with the dragons, wanting to put as much space between him and Eosfóros as possible. Then, he had looked at his staff and put that down in the ground to mark his sleeping spot in the town. He never slept indoors, for as long as he could remember. He can sleep in a tent if he had to, but other than that he constantly exposed himself to the elements.

Then Phantom sought out Komodo. He knew that the dragon didn't trust him enough for the priest to just casually walk up to him and see how he was doing...but he knew how it felt to have someone you once trusted completely turn on you. After checking on the small dragon, Phantom found Cornelius.

"Cornelius...is it just me or is this whole situation with that angel giving the heebie-jeebies?" The priest asked, "I don't like this situation at all."

I don't like this at all either. But we can solve this situation real quick...once the bitch's guard is down we can- Xiopetec tried to scheme.

Xiopetec. You'll get your chance so reign yourself in.

He's gonna play dirty.

You have my back. I'm not worried.

Phantom...my child...you put too much trust in me. I failed the first time.

Stop it. I'll be fine. We're not alone, and he doesn't have his mistress with him.

What are you gonna do about Xavier?

Not let him become Ishmael's new official bitch.

Phantom's tone had ended the internal conversation. His eyes had a strange gleam in them, and he twitched his fingers before crossing his arms across his chest. The priest never experienced this...compulsion to kill, and he shifted a bit. This was going to drive him insane.

Finally...she finally reached Velder...

Rain didn't know how fast she was running, but once the polished buildings came into her view, she sighs in relief. Vanessa eyes her and her strange attire and coughs in an irritated manner.

"Who are you? State your business."

"I-I'm Rain. I'm here to meet up with Lento. Have you seen him?"

Her almost dismissive tone made Vanessa huff. Who does this woman think she is? After catching her breath, Rain stands up straight and gives a penetrating glare. Vanessa, even more annoyed, sends for someone to get Lento. "What business do you have with him?"

"I'm here to help him with a favor. It took me a while to pass the demons in Feita."

"Feita? By yourself? Impossible-!"

Rain didn't have the time to entertain her. She walked past her and began to scour the town. The first thing she notices are the dragons. And with them...a familiar priest...

"Phantom!"

Cornelius wasn't sure how to respond to Phantom. For certain, there was something wrong about the angel and he felt like he met him before. Perhaps before the great El exploded. Yet he doesn't want to point fingers yet without having a more solid proof about Eosforos. Something was up and he doesn't like how much Xavier was different. It was even Aragorn's turn to get mopey about it, hearing the red dragon mumbling many things to himself made Cornelius sigh out loud. He wished he was there when Xavier left to give better judgment, especially if Eosforos was the one who picked up Xavier off their group. They'll just have to be very careful around the two.

"I only advise that we simply support them in battle as they will do the same to us. After Velder is free from the demons' hands, then we can feel suspicious about them. We already have enough things to worry about," Cornelius grumbled low. He was about to rest his head down yet paused when a girl with blue hair called out Phantom's name. Cornelius doesn't recognize her yet after the dragons took a glance at her, both Aragorn and Komodo perked up.

"Oh hey, one of Phanny's friends," Aragorn said as Komodo gave a curious sniff in the air and recognize the siren. Komodo seems to lighten up slightly as he walked over where Phantom stands to greet her. He knows her well enough from the beginning, but of course, it felt a little different on how far they come.

Cornelius merely huffed and went back to settling down his head, rubbing the left side of his face as he felt an itch. He went ahead to take a breath in to catch other different scents. Xavier was somewhere in the camp and...Eosforos was not close by. Cornelius frowned at this yet stayed quiet for now.

After ungracefully falling from the sky, no doubt for Glave's amusement, he looked around the area. But unlike the standard looking for a place to bunker down, Dust was gathering information around the most important parts.

Mainly, the armory and the soldiers moral. Apparently, since the commander of the red knights arrived, they've got a small boost in their confidence, something that can be dealt with later on. He wasn't much for these type of job, to stealthy infiltrate and lay down traps for his enemies, that was for the assassin team.

However, they deal with single targets, he deals things differently from them, take for example Feita. He laid multiple traps that converge into one. That's what he's doing, laying down small incantations in places where people wouldn't realize, but for everyone that he put down, he would leave a second incantation, a message to anyone that uncovers it.

As he went about with his job, he stopped when he heard the voice of a female in a tent. They were murmuring and whispering, but thanks to his keen ears, he was able to perceive what they were talking about.

"Does the name Lara Tureen ring a bell?" That single question made him quite interested to know about a little more about his ally, but a small silence was omitted instead.

"What's with this silence?" He thought to himself as he waited for a bit longer.

"When did the demons take her back?" This sent warning signs on him, she couldn't have been caught, not without someone notifying him or trying to apprehend him for protecting an enemy.

"You better not be where I think you are, Tureen..." He mentally cursed her, just thinking about it made him clench his right fist.

"Nothing of the sort happened. The Silver Fang fell after saving one of her allies. She wants to be buried in Resiam, once we push back the demons from the area, of course." The person that spoke those words, he wasn't familiar on who might be, but to hear that Tureen had fallen. It was a shock in itself.

He started walking away with his fist relaxed, looking forward and turning a corner and hiding for a bit. The first news he received from her and it was of her death by saving someone.

Looking up, he saw how the sun was starting to descent into the horizon. Night was coming, he needed to act during that time for the tricky part of his assignment. The armory, the place where the soldiers weapons were kept safe in case their old ones are damaged beyond repair.

Waiting was his best option for now, but with that his thoughts were now taking first place.

"Died before killing Ran, heh. Guess I'll take your revenge with me, Tureen." He mumbled to himself, away from prying ears. "Don't worry, I'll make sure however is carrying your remains takes you there without a cinch. It's the least I can do, for an ally." Thinking to himself, he made sure to remember that promise, even if he wasn't going to be there for her final rites, due to him thinking of not being worthy to be there.

Lento
"...You're right, Commander Sieghart. Good night." He saluted the young knight and walked out of the tent, tired of having to tell the sad news so fast. He'd have to tell Phantom eventually, even if he didn't want to bring the priest's morale further down. Xavier's return had already visibly shaken him, there was no need to put even more grief over his shoulders. However, would the priest remember the cold woman that briefly travelled with him as fondly as Rain or Rena?

Probably not.

He saw Rain in the distance approach Phantom and the rest of the dragons. They seemed like old friends reuniting, although they didn't work together for very long either. It was pleasantly unexpected, to see two strong warriors be friendly in such dark times. It was probably necessary for the gods to even out the horror with some heartwarming moments. For the sake of the living, that is.

This last thought made his small smile fade away, the anomalies were excluded from the god's light, it was how the world went round. That still didn't mean that they didn't have the power to lighten their destiny, Lara had proved that much. He'd take that flag with him; the flag he was entrusted with. Vanessa put a hand on his shoulder and he turned around suddenly, a hand over his weapon. The Guard's commander widened her eyes at his reaction, but understood that Lento had a handicap.

"Sorry Lento. I just wanted to let you know that the blue-haired girl over there was looking for you. Is she trustworthy? Some of my men have been keeping an eye on her, just in case."

"No need to worry, Vanessa. We know each other. Besides, I don't mean to offend you, but she's a strong mage. Strong to be here on her own without a scratch."

His lips didn't move, although a magical amulet around his neck shone while his voice reached her ears. That was how he "spoke". Thinking of what must've happened to him from Feita's destruction until now always made feel a little pity for the man. Yet, her pity was misplaced, for it would hurt the pride Lento took as a knight. She remembered that she had something else to do, it was the perfect excuse to go away before her true feelings went from her thoughts into her expression.
"I see. Well, if you'll excuse me, some soldiers came back from a rescue mission with a...rather special guest. I'll have to check that out."

"Special guest?"

"A nasod. This battle might be on our favour if it's the case."

The blue-haired woman went away, leaving Lento alone to his own dilemmas. Rain wished to see him, but for what reason? Would the dragons also wonder about her? He wished to go away, but that would be insulting to Rain. Reluctantly, he advanced towards the small group.

"Good evening, Phantom, Rain."

Eosfóros
After getting away from the troops, Eosfóros took in a deep breath as he was alone to himself. “It’s been awhile since I been out here,” Eosfóros said to himself as he looked around the environment, casually kicking a pebble away from him. “Yes, a long while...no matter I suppose. I’ll get what I want in the end.”

The angel went ahead to take a walk around, mostly towards the rumble of a town. He was curious about the demon army most of all, wanting to at least run into one to get a nice look at them. There was guards guarding the camp but after a quick word with them, they didn’t seem to be bothered that Eosfóros was leaving towards the dangerous area. It made him smile.

As he took his time with his walk, he began to think. The dragons were definitely an issue in his head. Especially the black one.

“I’m surprised he doesn’t recognize me...things changed after all. It’s pretty good that he doesn’t remember who I am. That saves a lot of trouble for me...” Eosfóros mumbled to himself, rubbing his chin. “That explosion really got them good. Heh...”

Eosfóros nodded his head as if he was agreeing with a thought that was brought up. Cornelius is a smart dragon, it probably won’t even be long that the dragon realized his old rider has returned. Of course, the quicker he gets rid of Cornelius, the better. No one needs to be reminded of what happened from the past. Even Athena is the same problem, though Aragorn was new to him. Perhaps a dragon that was hatched after the explosion of the El.

“Lots of things to fix, lots of planning to do. Xavier is definitely doing all the dirty work for me. When everything falls into place, I’ll be happy to let my true self out...goodness how long I been walking?” Eosfóros stopped for a moment as he realized he was in an unfamiliar place. Majority of the buildings were destroyed. He casually looked around, believing he entered in a different territory.

To prove that fact, Eosfóros looked up to see a line of demons from on top of a building with their arrows pointed at him. They seem to look surprised to be spotted right away but it didn’t stop them from letting their arrows fly. Eosfóros lightened up at this and his wings sprang from his back, showing off the pure, white feathers. With a flap, he backed himself away from the arrows direction and started to fly towards them. The demons quickly got their bows ready for another attack yet Eosfóros was fast enough to unsheath his sword and cut through their bows to make them unusable.

They shouted in surprise by their own language and Eosfóros landed behind them. He pointed his sword at them and counted five archers. They seem to be scrambling for a different weapon but Eosfóros wasn’t worried at all if they managed to get out one.

“My, aren’t you horrible looking creatures,” Eosfóros commented in their language. They were surprised an angel could speak their tongues, causing them to pause for a second. “How about we make a deal? I only kill one of you and the four can live. If no one is willing to give up their lives, then I kill all of you. What will it be?” The demons look bothered what the angel said to them, glancing at each other. For certain, Eosfóros can tell that none of them want to die. He smiled at them which caught their full attention. “Or, all of you five live as long you follow my orders. Don’t worry, I won’t have you be spies or go against your kind. I can do that myself. This actually might benefit for you, the demon army.” They were hesitant and unsure as they don’t know the angel’s true intentions and yet, Eosfóros voice was very soothing and calm. There was a strange energy to it, almost like having the power of authority. “I’ll have you return back to the closest army base, safe and sound. You have my word.” The demons slowly started to trust his words as it sounded very convincing. Eosfóros recieved nods from them and he let out a happy sigh. “Let’s provoke some dragons then.”

Elesis

Once Lento left, she was informed by Vanessa that the rescue mission in the fifth residential area hadn't gone as planned. However, the scouts had found an ancient Nasod named Alec. Elesis wanted to confirm the news, but the night was passing by, the soldiers that kept the Nasod needed to rest. She reviewed the headcounts of the remaining forces, taking note of the leaders and the different divisions they were assigned into.

They were too many scouts for what the war needed. They needed to focus their forces into the defence. Once they evacuated most citizens from dangerous areas into the radius the Alliance had secured. It would be tough, but as long as their defences were strong enough, the civilians wouldn't have to fear anything. She shook that thought away and remembered the combat in Hamel.

The demons were planning something, but none of the scouts had detected anything despite what was already going on before her arrival. It had to be something else, but what? She glanced at the lists of soldiers. She might need to talk with Vanessa in the future.

"I could be better, Phantom, but I'm glad to see that you're doing alright."

She offers a short and curt greeting to the two dragons with Phantom. Komodo scrambles to her and nudges her leg. The siren smiles and bends down to pat its head. "I'm flattered that you remember me, little one. How's Xavier?" At his name, Phantom tenses and the small dragon bumps its head onto the ground, as if it's sad. Rain frowns at their reactions, but before she can ask, Lento comes up to them. Phantom's smile is still up, seemingly forgetting what she asked. The songstress bows in the commander's presence.

"Lento, I'm here as requested. It took me a while to pass through Feita, but here I am. Is there any way I can be of assistance before we head to Hamel?"

The siren knew that she can't assume that things will go the way it did in her memories. The demons have already occupied Feita, and if that's the case, then certainly, the situation in Velder is dire. Her joking, almost vulgar demeanor is gone, and in place was a solemn heart and the seriousness of a soldier who had survived many wars. This was the Rain moments before her death, and with this willpower and void energy inside of her, she will live.

If not for herself, then for the woman who saved her.

Lento
Lento sat down and pondered for a second what to tell her. Or what to tell both of them. The Knight alliance was moving slowly and the outside was way too dangerous for everyone to relax. The priest seemed concerned by his expression and Lento told himself that he might as well just inform them of everything that was going on, to the best of his and Lara's knowledge,.

"Your travel must've been hard Rain. Specially if you came here by yourself. I'm not the chief around here anymore, but the first mission coming ahead is evacuating a residential area, starting tomorrow. On the other hand, I haven't seen Eosfóros around..."

Ash

Time has passed since he reached the bottom level of Altera's Core. The sounds of gears spinning and pistons pounds rang in Ash's ears.

"This must be the source of all the lastest nasods." Ash said to himself while peeking around the corner. What he saw was the same thing reported to be in Nasod Foundary. "Nasods building Nasods..." Ash said, his eyes looked around for a power source, he thought that if he could cut the power off then the machines would halt construction, but it wasn't that simple either.

"I would need to find the source of all these plans first." When the coast was clear Ash ran through the area looking out for anything that could resemble a power source. Just when he thought he had found it in a far off room the sounds of alarms going off rang through the air.

Ash's body jolted from the sudden noise, placing a strong hold his swords hilt he prepared for the worst.

Alec

System Diagnostic Scan Completed. No abnormalities found.
System Boot-up commencing.

With power once again circulating through his systems Alec's body jolted to life. "Queen's Guard. Unit Alec. Online." The system announced. When Alec's senses returned to him he began to scan the area. He noticed some knights around him who wore the same armor as those that escorted Jack.

When that named popped up in Alec's memory, that same 'feeling' popped up again. When he thought about the women and children that also ceased to exist he couldn't help but clench his fist tightly, the combat systems implemented into Alec were roaring out at him, this 'feeling' was revenge. Alec's body knew what it was but the person in question didn't know. He looked to his side and saw his blade right there. "Skofnung..." Alec said as he reached out for the blade. The moment he held the scabbard in his hands it began to faintly grow blue.

Alec stared at the glowing scabbard for a while. "Those 'demons'..I could've done something. Survival rate of refugees would've increased to 89%." Alec mumbled as he got up from the spot he was laying on. When he tried using his other arm he noticed the reaction time was lacking a little. He checked it out to find that there was a hole. When he thought back on it, he did get hit by one of those arrows fired off. It didn't matter though. He had plenty of time to worry about it afterwards.

Alec then realized, "Were am I? I should've been with Jack and the others." He said looking around the area again not seeing Jack's or the civilians corpses. He wanted to find out were he was, but he could guess a little that these knights found him. Maybe he was near the location of there headquarters. Using that as his bases Alec pulled up the map he was making when he arrived here, from the looks of it, the X marked the spot he was at last. It was a little bit far off from were he was. Between the spot he was currently at, and the spot were he had entered the Diagnostic state, was a large area in black. From what he could remember he and Jack were in Residential District 5, that meant they had gone over 4 already. Alec looked over in the direction of Residential District 4, it was on fire thanks to the gates it seemed that Residential District 3 was rather safe.

Or so was what Alec had originally thought. About 45 seconds later when Ash was about to scout the area for more information the sounds of rustling could be heard. He could hear tiles falling off the buildings. Alec jolted his head in the direction of the noise, to his surprise a few black silhouettes were heading towards the gates control center. Following their line of path Alec saw guards there on post and they haven't noticed the presences of the demons. "Hey! Look out!"Alec said but his voice wouldn't project loud enough.

"Dammit." Alec had no other choice but to intervene himself. This was the first time the 'Lone Wolf' would step out into the battlefield. With his sword at his side, Alec prepared Skofnung for it's first unsheathing, as his scabbard turned into a red color so did the eyes of Alec. "Nukihanatsu...Kasai." With profound speed Alec dash through the streets and once he reached withing 5 meters of the demon unsheathed his blade, flowing with a fiery power. When the demon had noticed it was already to late as it's head rolled onto the floor. From behind one of the other silhouettes Alec had saw earlier tried to dive down on him but he had already seen him earlier. Swiftly moving to the side Alec avoided the dagger by a hair, pressing his hand against the demons stomach fired off a blast of concetrated El energy through him, the demon slowly sliding off Alec's shoulder. With the deaths of both demons confirmed Alec sheathed his sword once again into it's scabbard. His eyes returning to their normal gray color. Alec had to quickly inspect his arm since that shot of energy had come from it. "Lag time is still present, other than that no irregularities."

When all was clear Alec chose to warn the guards of the possibility that more of these demons would arrive, so taking it upon himself Alec jumped up to the guard post were they looked at him much stiffness. One of the guards tried to run for the alarm but Alec raised his hand. "Please, don't I'm not here to seek violence." Alec said as he raised his hands. He seen Jack do it when the knights reached out for their swords when they had first met Alec, from what he could tell it seemed to show that the other party wasn't seeking violence.

"Y-you're that Nasod the scouts found.." the knight had said, Alec nodded his head. "My name is Alec, I've come to warn you that it seems the demons have taken an interest in this place. A few of them tried to open the gate but I've managed to stop them." Alec said, his finger pointing in the direction of were he had placed the corpses, one of the knights looked over the edge to confirm this. When he found the corpses he looked back at the other knight and gave him a nod.

With the corpses confirmed the knights let their guard down only by a little. They still couldn't fully trust Alec. It was to be expected. Afterall the Nasods almost eliminated humanity from the world.

After some time Alec explained to the knight how there was a possibility that the location they were currently at was going to be attacked tonight. Alec warned them that they should prepare to fight the night away. When the knights took all this information in, someone was sent to command with the report so they could send some reinforcements.

"What about you? What will you do?" The knight asked Alec. Alec looked back at him while he was repairing his shoulder. "I've chosen to assist the knights, someone I had just met risked his life for this kingdom, the citizens he tried to save died with him and I could do nothing. This feeling is making my systems ravage. I don't know what it's called." Alec said. The knight looked was a bit surprised that Alec didn't know what he was feeling, but he could tell what is was. "What you're describing is the feeling of wanting revenge. You want to avenge those who had died, but it seems you also want to protect what that make you mentioned tried to." The knight said. Alec raised a brow in surprise. "So this feeling is revenge and protect." Alec said, the knight crossed his arms and let out a sigh. "I never heard of a Nasod with feelings. You seem to like a nice guy Alec. This may seem weird since we just met but I hope you turn out to be a good guy down the road." Said the knight. Alec didn't get it but he would take it as a compliment.

Later that night, when the knights stationed here had awoken they were all running to there battle positions. Alec who was unfamiliar with warfare climbed to the top of the gate and made use of his eye sight. After 10 minutes of pure silence, the sounds of thundering footsteps resounded through the streets of Velder. Alec could make out large amounts of demons marching towards the gate, and at the very front stood one demon that towered over the others. "W-what is that..." One knight said, his gaze focused on that one single figure.

It's big enough that even the knights catch sight of it. Alec looked down at his blade. He didn't know if his sword was capable of stopping it, but right now wasn't the time to be thinking up alternative ideas. "Here they come!" Soon the large demon that was standing at the front, that was clad in think steel armor, with spikes on his wrist and shoulders began to charge at the gate, the other demons following suit.

Alec wasn't just going to let this go by. Jumping off the top of the gate Alec stood about 50 meters from the gate. The knights behind him had barriers set up, the archers uptop along the gate were firing off arrows down below at the demons who had reached the wall before the colossal demon did. From the looks of it they were successful in fending them off until the turning point reached. Volley's of arrows rained down on the archers set up along the gate. Most of the knights were lucky that some of the arrows just went of their heads but those down below were unfortunate. The screams of knights falling thanks to the arrows that pierced there chests sounded off in the night. One of the senior knights raised his voiced and told them to back away from the walls.

Seconds later, the ground began to shake as the gate trembled with cracks appearing along it. "W-what! I don't remember seeing a battering ram!" One of the knights said. Alec looked back at them as he placed a hand on his hilt "It's not a ram, it's that demon." Alec said as the demon he spoke of busted the gate open. Alec covered his eyes from the flying chunks of woods going all over. When he looked back again, demon foot soldiers swarmed in as the large demon took hold of one of the knights in his hand, Alec's eyes widened in anger. Kicking the ground Alec dash forward forward with blade unsheathed Alec slashed down on the large demon's hand, the pain that it experienced caused the demon to drop the knight that was in his clutches. Alec pushed the knight away as the demon tried slamming his other hand down on him.

Alec managed to barely avoid the large demon. When Alec regained his footing he prepared to go another round with the demon the knight that Alec met earlier up on the wall stood in front of him with his comrades. "Hey, leave this to us yeah? We're outnumbered, they have ordered a retreat to the second gate. Your help would be better off decreasing their numbers so they can get across, if you will." The knight said to Alec, he just stared at him, "I see, so it's reached that point."Alec thought nodding his head. "I'll come right back, so live till then!" Alec said as he made his way to the rear were the knights where trying to keep the demons out of the next gate. When Alec reached the rear he watched the knights retreating to the next gate with demons on their tale.

With blade at his side Alec concentrated his power into the sword. "Wreck havoc Skofnung. Flame Rage!" His eyes regaining their red form Alec used all his strength as he unsheathed a blade covered in crimson flames that flew forward in a horizontal line, burning the demons before him to a crisp. When the archers caught sight of Alec they turned there attention away from the knights retreating, "Good..come at me.." Alec mumbled while he focused on bringing the arrows down. Of course he wasn't able to deflect them all because of the slow reaction time on his damaged shoulder, but he was managing to avoid the critical hits that could leave him without a limb. When Alec had the chance he would charge a foot soldier and dig his blade deep into there chest. This continued on for a while until Alec was basically using his blade to stay up.

Alec was getting beat up pretty bad, even though he managed to eliminate a few, when he looked back he saw the knights still holding off the giant demon. They were the last of the knights that needed to retreat. "Damage to body 43%." Alec said. Of course it was nearing the half way point. When he looked at battle suit that protected his body there were openings everywhere, Alec tried his best to get to the knights that had kept there promise in staying alive. "O-oi comeback! Backup is almost here!" Some knight screamed, but Alec had a promise to keep.

As a Nasod Alec didn't breath but at this moment he did the motion of taking a deep breath. "One last push. Fenris/Core Overdrive." Alec raised his blade holding it horizontally, the streams running along the blade changed to a mixture of blue and red el energy. A helmet in the shape of a wolf formed on Alec's faces with the left eye being red and the right being blue. The energy he was letting out exceeded the limits that his body could hold if he was over 50% body damage.

With a burst of speed Alec rushed the giant demon juggernaut, parrying it's left jab. "Alec!?" The knight said. Alec looked back at him, "Go, I've kept my promise, now let me do my part." With an upper slash, Skofnung burned a deep cut into the giant demons armor. The demon seemed taken back by the sudden force.

Taking this chance the knights retreated to the second gate. Before long Alec was in a fierce fight with the giant demon, he tried his best to avoid the swings coming his way, but because of his body being damaged at 43% he couldn't process the information Fenris was sending fast enough to make a complete dodge. Alec could feel his body breaking down immensely.

Dawn had then began to arrive as Alec was smashed into the ground, his body had exceeded 88% damage. Maintaining Fenris and Core Overdrive was reaching the red. Even if his system failed him here, he had injured the demon to the extent that even a single knight could probably bring it down if he played his cards right. Getting up once more, Ash poured energy into his blade for one final Flame Rage. When the timing was right, he immediately unleashed the violent attack that sent the Demon flying back on it's behind.

Alec dropped to his knees as red warning signs appeared all over. All he could do was look at the rising sun as his body wouldn't respond to his commands. "Core Overdrive Stasis..." His body had reach the point were commands weren't received at all. "R-r-reinforments....c-c-come qui-ic-ickly.." His words were in stutters.

When the angel's name was mentioned, Phantom folded his arms over his chest again as he frowned. His body posture rigid as he tapped his fingers on his arms. "An evacuation, huh? Looks like I'll be helping with the wounded. There's more than enough muscle to move the people," The priest mused aloud. He was actively ignoring the comment about Eosfóros, trying to follow Cornelius's advice a bit and keep his suspicions until after the main demon problem has been settled.

But what about Xavier.

Phantom looked to Rain then glanced at Komodo. He debated if he should answer her question...but the dragon's reaction was a big reason on why he should just let the question go. For now, at least. If Rain still wants an answer, he'll provide.

You're more than just a healer, my child, Xiopetec reminded.

Yeah. But taking care of each other is more important than fighting off the enemy. Without anyone in fighting condition, we lose.

Good point. Just don't hold yourself back. I want that angel to see that you're strong. And I want you to keep your strength up so that way I can look that angel in the eye and laugh at his death. Like he did when he massacred my children.

Reign it in Xiopetec.

Phantom cracked his neck and he looks up to the sky. "Eosfritos is a strange guy," he said, keeping his tone uncharacteristically neutral. It was a bit funny, his strange accent emphasizing the "o"s in the mispronunciation of the angel's name. "He and his...companion-" Phantom glances at Komodo again-"just joined our forces. You don't have to worry about them yet...it can wait until tomorrow if they actually help us with the evacuation."

"It was no big deal, Lento. I'll help out as best I can."

Who is this Eosphoros person? Judging from the name, it's not really a normal one. Phantom tenses up again, and the woman makes a mental note in her head to ask him when the time was right. What mattered now was advancing to Hamel, fulfilling her duties, and...maybe slaughtering Ran just for the kicks.

Still, she should probably prepare for her daunting task. Draining Resiam on a single day was so taxing on her other self that she was knocked out for several days. Even the siren couldn't move their body; it was like an anchor that sank to the bottom of the ocean. Rain did want to test if her transcendence can give her the strength to achieve this task, but as of right now, she doesn't know how she could without doing the deed itself.

"I'm going to sleep for the rest of the day. The journey I took was rather hard on my feet."

Bowing once again, the songstress heads over to the inn, longing for a warm bed.

Lento
He raised an eyebrow at Phantom's calmness and waved at Rain to wish her goodnight. Once the Siren had left, he remembered that the priest had a special link with a forgotten goddess.

"I know what he is Phantom. That's why his silence bothers me." One of his eyes began to turn a little blue, but his voice didn't change."The thing is that I don't remember seeing him before. I should've. After that time she spent with Ishmael, there is no way she doesn't remember that angel. Unless he had something to do in Ishmael's plan against her."

His eyes returned to their normal colour and he sighed. He had probably said too much, but he hoped that maybe Phantom, or the goddess that accompanied him, knew something about Eosfóros.

Eosfóros made it back to safety with ease, holding a box in his hands which contains filled, unopen bottles. He already got the archers around his fingers so he wasn’t too worried about betrayal. They’ll simply carry on with their duty until day light burns the skies. That’s when the fun begins. After they finished their assignment, Eosfóros fulfill the end of his promise to get them out safely from danger. Though truthfully, he feels like they will be useful for a few things before he could let them go. For now, it was time to rest a bit for tomorrow’s big day.

It didn’t take long to find Xavier who was isolating himself from the rest of the army. He saw the book in his hands and gave a curious look on where the book came from as it was unfamiliar to him. Xavier seem to be in peace with his reading, his eyes were calm as they scan over each line and his claws carefully flipping to the next page. As if he was afraid of ripping or damaging the paper.

“Im back,” Eosfóros said as he made himself known to Xavier.

Xavier looked up and suddenly that calmness quickly went away. His stare was sturdy like a soldier and without hesitation, he closed the book. It was expected that Eosfóros has order for Xavier yet the angel only smiled and put down the box.

“Relax, we won’t be doing anything yet,” Eosfóros assured him. “I am guessing you don’t want to sleep tonight sooo, I went out and search for something to keep you occupied.” Eosfóros took out a bottle to show off the liquor. “You know, I was very lucky running into this undamage box. Plus you haven’t ate anything much besides...well, nevermind that. You can have two of these for now, they are rather big.” Eosfóros handed Xavier the first bottle.

Xavier frowned with the bottle in his hand though he didn’t object. He rather took off his mask to drink the bottle, showing off the scars of skin peeling away at the right side of his mouth. Eosfóros stared at it curiously to see that it seem to be recovering but not quite enough. He figured his body would naturally use the power of the El to rebuild up the wound but there may be some sort of resistance. Was Perkisas still active?

Eosfóros shook his head, disagreeing with that thought and went ahead to sit next to Xavier who took a curious sip of the liquor. They got a lot of time to kill until morning.

After wishing Rain goodnight, Phantom's neutral expression had transformed into a sneer. His eyebrows furrowed as his knuckles turned white from tightly grabbing his arms. His left snake eye had started the glow fuschia, and his usually deep voice had taken a higher, more effeminate tone.

"That angel has murdered many of my children-my followers," Xiopetec spoke via Phantom, his tongue flicking as she spoke, his accent gone, and his voice becomes distinctly sultry. The priest leaned close to Lento, "And I was very lucky that I didn't fade from existence. It's not your fault that you don't remember Eosfóros. You should consider yourself fortunate because Ishmael only brings him into the picture when she needs to make sure something important is handled correctly."

She paused, and Phantom unfolded his arms as his faced relaxed into a solemn expression. "Do not be paranoid like I am, Lento. But do be vigilant. Eosfóros has a charm to him, and he is not ashamed of his dirty tricks...but when the time comes, he is mine."

Then Phantom leans away, his snake eye back to its neon yellow color and he sighs. "I'm trying to handle her 'I want revenge' vibes, but I don't think I'm doing that great at it honestly," He says with his normal voice with his accent. "Pissforius is only my second concern. I'm more worried about Xavier." The priest yawned and he stretched. "I think it's time for me to get some sleep. Goodnight."

The priest gave a small wave to the blacksmith, and to Komodo and he walked over to where his staff was and laid down on the ground. He used his folded up cloak as a pillow once more, got comfortable, and closed his eyes.

His dream started with flames. In front of him, a building was engulfed with bright red flames, half-collapsed already as it was being consumed by the violent source of light and melting the snow around it. Inside the building, he heard screams and his stomach churned.

"No!" Phantom heard a female scream, and he recognized that voice.

"Xiopetec!" He shouted and he sprinted towards to where his goddess was. The priest kept running until he saw the woman on her hands and knees, white tendrils binding her to the ground. Her fuschia aura dulling as the flames grew, her sobs wracking her body as she struggled against her bonds to reach towards the building. "Xiopetec?"

Her purple eyes landed on Phantom. "R-run!" She commanded.

Phantom sprinted towards her, ignoring her command until he felt something cold and sharp press at his throat.

"Ah-ah-ah! You should've listened to your precious Snake Mother when you had the chance," A male voice purred into his ear ad Phantom felt his throat burn and Xiopetec's piercing scream.

Then Phantom woke up with a start and he sat up, his breathing uneven. He touched his neck, feeling no injury and he looked around to see the other sleeping dragons around him. The priest put his head in his trembling hands and relaxed. It was just a nightmare. It felt like hours before Phantom felt his heart calm. "I'm not going to be sleeping anytime soon..." He grumbled and he looked up at the sky to see that it was nearing dusk. He shouldn't have to wait long for the sun to rise, maybe a few hours. So Phantom rubbed his eyes and stood up, making his way to an inn to spend that time to wash up and maybe do some laundry until everyone else wakes up.

Lento

He wished the priest goodnight and lifted his gaze at the starry sky. He had no signs of tiredness.

Lento got up and opened a portal to Lunæ Lumen to train until the first rays of sunlight lit up the sky. Once out, he noticed that Elesis and Vanessa were mobilizing a small group of medics. He promptly joined them

Elesis
The news of what happened to the 4th residential area got to her ears that morning. She quickly dispatched a group of medics and some soldiers to take care of it. She saw Lento coming and she greeted him.

"What's going on?" The blacksmith asked.
"Some troops got injured. You're still on standby to ecacuate the citizens on the third residential area." She explained as she mounted a horse and went away.

Once there, she saw a destructed Nasod beyond the emergency barrier surrounded by demons. She let out of her hand a powerful flame to obliterate the enemy forces while protecting the robot.

"I suppose you're that Alec some soldiers reported finding. Good job, we'll do our best to treat you once we get back."

"Hmm..." Sitting down on a pile of debris, he noticed soldiers moving around, most of them medics and only a few with a larger build. By looking around a bit, he concluded that their forces were being spread around in multiple directions. Night was up, this is what he was waiting for.

Getting up, he started walking around with his hands in his pockets, moving as normal as he could, not rushing his steps or acting out of character.

He bumped into someone as he turned the corner, how careless of him.

"Watch-!" He was about to berate him, until he noticed the robes first, the eyes second and how it felt different with this person. Yes, he could feel something and he didn't like it. "Apologies." He swallowed his growing anger and effortlessly raised that person up. "Pay more attention where you walk, priest." His chains put some force into them, making him feel a small tightening. It was probably them warning him to act benelovent.

"I'll follow my words as well." That was the best Dust could say as he left. The moment he grabbed that priest he felt the presence of another, for a moment he thought that a second soul had intertwined with him, but he couldn't be sure. During that time, he tried to suppress whatever dark el in his system from leaking out, from his anger.

Not even making sure that he was tailed, he marched forward, passing through soldiers and civilians alike. He noticed a white haired person with long hair, but it was just a child, although for some reason he felt as though that girl was different somehow.

"Stop overthinking things, get to the armory." He mentally berated himself as he was close to it.
