Spoiler: The Rules

1. All characters power is restricted to large building level. Meaning your mist powerful attack can level a large building. The only exceptions are the 5 Veteran Endymion Wardens.

2. This is a plot driven story with a anime them. There is room for sandbox adventures and sub plots but keep in mind that the story revolves around no one character.

3. No God modding period. You cannot be the greatest thing since sliced bread and no one is fullfilling any ancient prophecies or coming from some special family. (You can Dm the respective controllers of the Veteran Endymion Wardens to be related to them if youd like)

4. Themes for abilities must make sense and be fairish...no abilities that let you control another person or being at all that takes the fun away from it and wouldnt make sense with the lore behind the powers.

5. If i ask you to change something dont get irritated please. There are many beings in the roster of enemies who have specific powers and abilities and odds are if i am asking you to change it you either have one of the powers or your abilities dont fit. I assure you it is not personal.

6. Characters must be between 11 and 21 years old with the exceptions being the 5 Veteran Endymion Wardens whos ages are set.

7. Try and have fun. I know its cliche and the rules seem...excessive but the goal is for us to make a long lived story with potential for many sequels.

Endymions are born able to see the shimmering outlines of Angels and demons and the elder endymions who fought them so be sure to include that. The Veterans have been recruiting and training others for one year now. if you want to be already able to use some powers include when you were recruited. It would be by any of the 5 Veteran Endymion Wardens who recruited you.

Name: Alexander Aethis

Talants: He has a knack for talking and being sociable. He is obviously rather skilled at acting as well considering he makes a living doing so.



Personality: While Kind and endearing to others around him Alex can at times be a little bit of a diva. Being neat and orderly nearly to the point of obsession and possessing an air of arrogance and attitude that can be a bit excessive at times. However that said he does have some good reasons for arrogance. As an action star and the current man of the year according to the rest of the world, he would be hard pressed to find a problem in his life right now. However much as he tries to keep it hidden there is a darkness in him.

History: Alexander moved to Panorama city with his sister and parents when he was a mere four years old. Because of this he doesnt seem to remember much besides the city and his life here. He and his sister had only just turned 12 and 13 when their powers awakened and the Wardens began to show them their power. A year later and the teenagers were fighting in a war against otherworldly beings alongside the older endymions. Young though he was, Alexander and his sister brought incredible levels of power to the conflict essentially serving as Nukes for the wardens. Able to arrive on scene and Raze entire sections of purgatory.

However as the war carried on things got harder for the Aethis twins. Despite their best efforts they were unable to prevent the deaths of their friends and allies. In alexanders case he took it particularly hard after all he was supposed to be the Sun God, a Beacon of hope. When the war ended Alex was only seventeen, both he and his sister were notably rattled. It took him nearly two years before he was able to put together his life. He was found by a scout looking for fresh faces for Hollywood and was lucky enough to get started in a horror movie where his death scene was both comical and very well done.

Thus began his career in hollywood, and with it the opportunity to go global with a mission he was given by the Warden leader, a mission to find more Endymions to bring to panorama city. A mission he has completed over the course of the past twelve years sending many Families to the city in a variety of ways from falsified documents in south texas, to some greased palms in japan giving certain buisnessmen opportunities to make it in panorama city. With some time between movie deals alexander has finally returned home to see how his city fares and of course to help his fellow wardens with training and preparation for the threat his boss sees coming.

Theme: The Sun God


1st power: Gravitational bonding (B)- Alex is tightly bound by his gravity yet lightened by his energy content. This results in high levels of superhuman strength and durability in addition to the ability to fly at supersonic speeds, and react at such speeds as well.

2nd power: Pyrogenisis- Alex can generate superheated plasma from his body. This plasma can usually move at supersonic speeds.

3rd power: Pyrokinesis- alex can manipulate and control flames of all kinds with his thoughts. He usually uses this to alter the consistency or intensity of the flames. Making them sticky like napalm or condensing it into explosive orbs.

4th power: Flameport- The final ability alexander possess is to teleport between existing flames. He has honed this ability to require little to no energy to use, and has only a fraction of a seconds cool down.

Talants: Roger Doodles flipbooks with exceptional skill, Picks locks easily, very good at slight of hand.

Personality: Roger is a tad awkward seeming to be poor at interacting socially. Often making himself an easy target for bullying on account of his seemingly detatched and airheaded composure. It of course doesnt help that he is a pretty crafty kleptomaniac. He doesn't bother trying to interact with people and beleives friends will be an impossibility for him, luckily being part of a rich family means he can spend his time at home.

History: Born in Houston texas Roger seemed to have a very normal childhood until at 6 he was diagnosed with leukemia. At first while everyone around him greived and cried he assured them that it would be alright he would win. Five agonizing years later he hadnt given up, but the pain and struggle had changed him. The boy had become bitter other kids got to play out sode and fight bosses in videogames, he on the other hand got to lay in bed and battle death itself.

When he turned eleven his condition had taken a turn for the worse and he had begun to deteriorate before his families eyes. His biggest complaint however was the pressence of a weird blotty light shape in his room. The shape maintained its pressence by his bed for nearly a week and he continued to deteriorate day after day. However when his cousin came to visit he noticed the shape trying to shy away from him.

A few hours later he realized why after the rest of his family went to get food or stretch their legs leaving only roger and his cousin Alexander. After a few moments he asked roger if he saw the strange man shaped light. Roger just nodded causing Alex to smile and walk over to roger placeing a hand on his shoulder. In an instant his whole world changed as alex took him into purgatory. Much to rogers surprise he was totally different than he was a few moments ago. He didnt feel weak quite the opposite he felt like he could move the whole world.

Then he saw the strange Light, but it wasnt a light anymore. It was a strange being with a hole where its face should be and horrifying fleshy wings. Though roger was scared at first The cousins soon stomped the being out of existence afterwards Alex explained to roger what was going on and that he would let him come stay with him in panorama city if he wanted to delve into this new world. Roger agreed after a day, the doctors telling him that his leukemia had made a miraculous regression helped him to make up his mind.

His parents were harder to convince but the fact that alex pretty much garenteed to pay for roger to get into Panorama cities university sealed the deal. For three years roger has lived not with Alex who he found travels often. But rather with Alex's sister, his aunt. While he is greatful for her taking care of him and even training him to use his endymion powers, he is rather disappointed to not be working with Alex who he views as the one who saved his life.

Theme: The Stellar Champion.

1st power: Gravitational Bonding (S)- Roger is hyper dense in his spectral state making his body many times harder than diamond and granting him incredibly high levels of strength. He is also able to fly but he struggles to approach the sound barrier and has yet to ever go super sonic. His reaction time is accelerated to superhuman levels but is notably lower than His cousin Alexander.

2nd power: Self sustainable- None of Rogers Abilities cause him any loss in stamina or energy reserve. He doesnt need to breath, eat, drink, or sleep in his spectral form. Furthermore he is resistant to pressure or the lack thereof, and resistant to temperature extreames allowing him to survive any environment from the deepest depths of the ocean to the eternal vacuum of space itself.

3rd power: Stellar Matter generation (Unusable)- Roger can generate incredibly heavy superheated star matter which he can blast his foes with in the form of eye lazers, energy beams, blasts, energy balls, and arcs from his hands or Core saber. These attacks deal Heat And Impact damage in high levels easily able to punch a hole in a bank vault or battle ship.

4th power: Core Saber (Unusable)- A golden colored sword that weighs more than a hundred tons. The blade is indestructible and absorbs energy converting it into heat and cutting power.

Talants: Staring into a persons soul and reading body language, micro expressions, and vocal cues.

Personality: The phrase Serious as a heart attack was seemingly made to fit this man. He never cracks a joke, never asks rhetprical questions, and never wastes words. What he says he means, and he rarely says anything. All that said he is duty bound to protecting others and tends to hold those who can also do so to a higher regard. However heaven and hell combined know no scorn like this man in the defense of his daughter.

History:

Theme: The Cop

1st power: Spectral SMG- A sub machine gun spawned with James's spectral form. It does not fire bullets rather it fires beams of spectral energy that can pile on damage quickly via a high fire rate. This weapon never needs to reload. He can summon a second one with effort. Special magazines can be loaded with arrest orbs

2nd power: Stun batons- At will he is able to spawn electrified batons which adjust their yeild to the foe they are targeting. Making them effective to damage any foe.

3rd power: Arrest Orbs - James can fire off a marble that splits into several small pieces of metal which home in on the target and fire cables into them before anchoring themselves into the nearest structure. While they can be broken repetitive uses can restrain almost anything.

4th power: The Uniform- The final ability of James is ironically the completion of his transformation. It spawns the 5-0 Super suit. Which grants him superhuman strength, speed, durability, reflexes, and stamina. It also has a variety of defensive counter measures from unleashing taser prods from its hands, to expelling clouds of pepper spray.

Theme: Co-Dependance



1st Power: Mega Symbiosis-(Unusable) Suzanna's spectral form is incapable of moving or acting on its own. Without another endymion it is simply a 120 meter tall tower of Spectral steel. However once another endymion enters the mechs central compartment whatever abilities they possess are then granted to the mecha suit and Amplified to match the new massive size. Any type of ability can be granted including the spawning of Giant versions of weapons, or morphing the outer armor to match armors worn by specific endymions. Even gaining wings or a tail depending on the Endymion piloting them. Sadly all this power is at the disposal of the one who enters the mecha suit. With Sookie being Delagated to an A.I which keeps the suits functions in order.

2nd Power: Transformation (Unusable)- Sookies giant mecha suit is capable of transforming into a powerful alternate form of a Large hundred meter spaceship. This negates her Mega symbiosis and requires a larger crew of up to 6 endymions to pilot. However these 6 endymions power is directly converted to shields, Weapons, engines, and a specialized purgatory pocket generator that allows travel beyond Panorama city.

3rd Power- Gear Horde (Unusable) - When truely mastered and paired with a powerful enough endymion Pilot Sookie can morph her giant mech into an army of 1000 smaller mechs with weaker versions of the pilots abilities. These smaller Gears can then attach to other endymions like a mecha suit linking the abilities of all endymions and interweaving their powers. This also creates a communication network between endymions.

4th Power- Gateway (Unusable): the true purpose of Her ability. When connected to 10 or more endymions of significant power Sookies Spectral form can become a large portal to other dimensions equipped with deep scan capabilities, shields, point defense and a vast array of armaments and detection technologies.

Duration: None. (Depends on the "pilot" she can theoretically stand as a 120 meter immobile tower forever.)

Name: Ruth Cooke

Occupation: Barista / Student

Talents: Ruth is a full-time barista at a local cafe as well as a full-time student. Meaning, of course, that her free time is practically non-existent. When she does have a moment or two to herself she enjoys going for walks, playing her guitar, and singing. Ruth has exceptional wisdom but can actually be rather lazy when it comes to school, sometimes falling asleep or skipping class. She also loves climbing trees for some reason. She would probably say it makes her feel tall.

Personality: Outwardly, Ruth is friendly and bright. She can somehow make the darkest days blue again. It's a survival tactic in her current occupation and allows her to carry on her days without being lonely. which she was often as a child. She's very gentle and dreamy in a way, but also exceptionally logical. It can be self-destructive at times.

Behind closed doors lives a whole new beast. She can be blunt and a tease. Her socks don't ever match. Sometimes she goes for a walk in the rain but couldn't say why. She doesn't trust many of her friends, especially after seeing how the world as she thought she knew could so simply betray her.

History:
Ruth was born in Panorama City but didn't live there for most of her life. She was raised in the countryside - a town just on the right side of rural. Her mother's family was from the city, however, and so they traveled there frequently. It was there that she saw the first glittering shape. Young Ruth was confused by it, wondering if she had witnessed an angel, but didn't think much of it. In her town there weren't any others who had her abilities and so the condition went unnoticed. That was, until one day while she and her parents were visiting the city and she stumbled upon a massive surge of energy. It nearly stunned her. When she looked up she was in the city but... something felt wrong. It was too quiet. She looked up and saw a sparkling being beside her - a man of fire. The Sun.

In the moment, she had not a clue what had happened to her. It only lasted a minute and suddenly the world around her was alive again. "Are you alright, Ruth?" She had stopped on the sidewalk, family members only reaching a few steps ahead before having noticed she had paused. "I just..." She stammered, looking around and then rubbing the back of her neck. There was nothing there. That was her first encounter with an Endymion, and it changed her whole world. She experimented on her own with crossing into other worlds, finding that it only worked on visits to the city. She realized that there was some power buzzing within her - aching to be released - but she just didn't know how to use it.

Years later, Ruth made a bold decision. She left the countryside to live in Panorama City. To attend school there - both her general education and to train with the powerful creatures that had inspired her so. It was daunting to move to a new city, of course, especially when there was so much she didn't understand. She found solace in the sound of her guitar, sitting out on the fire escape outside her bedroom window. She picked up a new job, make some new friends, and was terribly excited for the experiences waiting for her. Still, life at home was rather lonely. As a child she was always surrounded by animals and so the solution came quite easily. There was a small pet shop around the corner from her home. She happened to wander in one day, hoping to meet a feline that could cure her solitude. Not only did she find that but when she turned to the register she was shocked to find a sparkling figure smiling back at her.

They bonded not only over both being young Endymions but also for their love of music - and animals. She wasn't surprised to see him at training as well. And so her new life began. Exciting? She had no idea what she was in for.

Relationships: Torin ( fuil ) - as mentioned in the story. Also for helping her find her cat, Spitz.

1st Power: Feather Projectiles

She summons a bow with which she turns feathers into deadly arrows, slinging up to five at a time.

2nd Power: Screech

An unearthly sound pierces the air to stun and disorient enemies within its range.

3rd Power: Unusable: Flock

Birds of omen dark and foul,
Night-crow, raven, bat, and owl,
Leave the sick man to his dream --
All night long he heard your scream.

This ability summons a flock of vicious birds that attack targets upon her will.

4th Power: Unusable: Grey Eyes

The sky goes dark overhead. Silver lightning splits the air, decimating anything it touches.

Duration: 10 minutes.
The passive nature of Ruth's abilities take a significantly lower physical toll on her body, allowing her to maintain her spectral condition for longer.

Personality:
Naoki is a pretty introverted and reserved person. He's quiet and dislikes raising his voice when he doesn't need to. Someone who isn't the best at connecting with others, Naoki prefers his own company. While reclusive, Naoki is prone to helping those in need with their troubles. Although genuinely kind, Naoki is also kind of stand offish. He has a dry wit and is prone to insulting people if they annoy or amuse him. Naoki is pretty blase on his Endymion Abilities. He treats them as a neat tool to use to eliminate his enemies.

History: Naoki's parents died in a car accident. He was taken in by his uncle Shirou, who owns a clockshop. Although the two often found themselves repairing a variety of devices and appliances that AREN'T clocks. His days were either spent staring at clocks at school, or staring at clocks at home. Time seemed to either stagnate or fly by for Naoki. Although upon reaching adolescence he began to see visions, apparitions and strange phenomena that he couldn't explain. Keeping these sightings to himself, he did some independent research. One year ago, he entered a sort of distorted replica of the town he lived in. This wasn't an ordinary place. Monsters, spatial disruptions and magic ran rampant here. Upon discovering this place, Naoki began documenting everything he saw. Eventually he was discovered by the Wardens, who trained him to combat the monsters here. Naoki, who could only stare at the slowly moving hands of a clock; could now manipulate those hands as he saw fit.

[The True Plague]

Name: Masao Fukumoto

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Occupation: Student

Talants: Poetry, Writing, Sneaking Out

Personality: Masao Fukumoto is a somewhat friendly, sweet boy. At least, on the surface. Outgoing, easily makes friends at school, and often times can be found helping out with small things such as tutoring a friend, or offering to help someone clearly struggling to carry a few things. Some even say he'd give you ten bucks with no expectations of payback. However, there is no proof of that.

At home, that friendly, sweet boy is much more quiet and distant. Often just doing whatever his father asks of him, and then just staying in his room. There's a bit of tension with his father and him in terms of what they want for his future. Although somewhat traditional in how he was raised, clearly is going through some teenage rebellion.

History: Masao was born and for the first six years of his life, raised in western Japan. His home life was reasonably stable, his father being a respected man in the community due to his status as a higher up in a rapidly growing business. If Masao had to guess, he'd say maybe electronics or something... He never cared.

At the age of seven, Masao was enrolled into school, and happily went along with it up until the age of eleven, when he got home to see his father and mother packing up the house. Something about a business opportunity in America, and his father's boss entrusting it to well, his father. Some sort of big town over in America... This time was kind of blurry for Masao given he was, you know, a kid in school. He spent more time focusing on enjoying his time with his friends than thinking about how he was set to leave at the end of the school year. Perhaps if he ignored it, it'd go away...

Shockingly, no, that's not how the real world works. Thus, when summer rolled around, he wasn't too surprised to see that they were moving regardless to America... At least he has passable English for a 7th grader as he thought. Yeah, no. Panorama City, in the heartland of America, was not a place where half baked English quite cut it. So, whilst his father and mother settled in well enough, Masao spent the better part of the first year throwing himself at books to learn better English.

Upon entering High School, Masao finally developed enough English to describe exactly what he thought he was seeing. Little flashes of light, apparitions and all that. His friends thought he was bullshitting them, and his father was amused and just said that Yokai aren't real son. His mother was somewhat supportive that maybe what he saw was real, but she explained it as the Kami of these lands. Spirits and such. Arguably makes sense... Kinda... Sorta. Masao was raised with respect to that... But he didn't really ascribe a lot to it. Life felt way too big and complicated before you add religion.

Masao spent most of High School just presuming maybe his mother is right. After all, his name does contain a sort of... Holy meaning to it, perhaps he is just more inclined to seeing such things.

A year ago though, he briefly entered a sort of... Odd replica of the town. He was just walking home after school, having stayed after to finish a school project Walking the streets in the evening, you'd imagine there would be some traffic, right? Be it on foot, or biking, hell even a few cars. However... There wasn't anything. It was oddly quiet... Too quiet. This lasted for approximately four minutes before something finally showed up, something humanoid. It seemed to be staring at him with maybe muted curiosity. Masao couldn't tell much else though, as the world around him seemed to shift as cars passed him by and a few people came down the street. If not for the odd look he received from an older man across the street, he'd imagine he imagined it all. A few days later, he received a card with a simple number and he presumed the name of a group or something. Wardens... Maybe it's an upcoming band? He doesn't know. He hasn't exactly looked into it yet, what with the whole getting ready for university and arguing with his father about the merits of going to college for writing.

Theme: Duality



1st Power: Soul Stream - A focused burst of spiritual energy that, he thinks, is accompanied with the sounds of screams.

2nd Power: Soul Wrap - A protective move, creates a glowing white covering around one person or thing. Some describe it as skeletal looking if they had to describe it.

3rd Power- Unusable: Soul Release - A swirling miasma of energy gathers around the user, before bursting outwards, infused either with chaotic/destructive energies or a healing mist.

4th Power- Unusable: Avatar of Balance - The user channels either chaotic energy, harmonic energy, or both. Channeling both lessens the effect and time.
Chaotic: A crimson miasma settles around the user, each blow leaving traces of the miasma that eats away at spiritual beings.
Harmonic: White mist swirls around the user, granting a boost to speed and can be shared with other spiritual beings. Has mild regenerative powers.

Name: Torin McFarlane

Talants: Fighting, animal care, Gardening, Guitar, Singing, and cooking.

Personality: Torin is a hard person to get close to as he doesn't trust easy. He loves animals and is very gentle and kind around them. Though the same can't be said about people as he seems to have very little patience for them. Though when a person is able to get through his rough personality they soon find that
he's a loyal and very protective friend. This of course has gotten him into quite a few fights, along with his temper. He's also very stubborn as once he makes up his mind he rarely changes it.


History: ​

Torin grew up in Panorama City, though his parents where originally from Ireland. His dad was a construction worker and his mom worked as a waitress so they were not exactly poor but not well off either. Even though they were always busy his parents spent whatever time they could with him. Torin has always seen the shimmers though he just called them shinny people and his parents thought they were imaginary friends. Though once he reached eight he stopped talking about them as his frinds always either called him a liar. He was living a decently happy life. That is until the accident, they were coming home from one of there rare nights out, both his parents had taken the day off for his 11th birthday. Thats when it happened. First lights, then a loud sound and he felt wightless, then darkness. He woke up seven days later in the hospital his father in the chair beside him covered in bandages. It had been a drunk driver that hit them and sent there car rolling four times. His mother didn't make it and his father lost his left leg and three fingers on his left hand. They were both lucky to be alive. His father was so happy to see his son wake up and after they where let out of the hospital and the funeral things seemed to return to normal. Until he started talking the shimmering shapes again. His father took him to the hospital worried that the crash had given him brain damage. The doctors ran ever test they could but couldn't find anything so they said it must be some kind of psychology trauma. So his father sent him to a shrink and after a few years of that not working he had him committed. He screamed and yelled and fought as the orderlys dragged him away well up to when they stuck him with that dame needle. He spent three years trying to tell the doctors that what he was seeing was real but they never believed him. So he stopped trying to tell the truth and two years later they decided he was cured. It wasn't until he turned 20 and was living on his own that he started to experiment with these shimmering shapes and his apparent power to see them. It was month after he started experimenting that he entered that strange empty world. He was in it for about five minutes before he heard explosions and being who he is ran to find out what it was. When he reached the sorce of the explosions he saw something that blew his mind, a man of fire fighting a hulking brute of flesh and bone. It was at that moment that he seemed to leave that place, but not before the man of fire saw him. A few months later he got a letter asking him to join something called the wardens. That was a year a go and he's so glad he decided to accept that invitation.

1st Power: Juggernaut-He is very tough, strong, and doesn't feel pain. He's able to shrug off things like being thrown into a building and can throw heavy objects like cars easily. Though this resistance is only physical so stuff like fire or electricity still damage him the same as a normal person.

2nd Power: Rage-He can boost his strength, speed, reflexs, and senses by entering an enraged state. This state has 5 levels each increasing his physical ability bya a factor of one.
(so lv 1=x2,lv 2=x3 and so on.)

. Though the higher he goes the closer to losing himself in the rage he gets. He can currently only go up to level two at the moment without losing control. If he loses control he will attack anything in sight be it demons, friends, even buildings.
