Mistress of the Elements
Livana Weiss
Location:: Dorm Room 424
The start of the semester was always warm because it started in late August. Students filed in from their vehicles moving into the dorms on campus, there was nothing but chaos all around. Livana was a sophomore this year so she was already used to the moving commotion from the year prior. Her parents helped her move all her belongings up from the car to her room on the fourth floor. It took a little bit but with teamwork, it was done easier than her carrying everything on her own. Room 424, it was close to the elevator on the right side of the hall only a couple of rooms down. Her roommate hadn't arrived yet but she was excited to meet her. The ginger loved making new friends and since they were going to be living together for the year she hoped they would at least get along. Everything was coed in the building with the exception of the girl's showers being on the right side of the floor and the boy's on the left. The rooms were nice and decently spacious so there was more than enough room for all her stuff.
Livana set up on the right side of the room, putting her bed up a little higher and neatly tucking her clothes into the drawers beside it. The room was completely duplicate on both sides so they wouldn't have to share a dresser or closet. Her parents helped put some things away but they left before long so they could miss the traffic. She put up lights and posters around her bed of different sports players or movies. She made her space homey while keeping to her side to respect her roommate. It'd be rude if she just took over the room before her roommate had a say in it. They had spoken briefly when they were paired together and agreed on what things the other was bringing for them to share. Liv brought the fridge, rug, and coffeemaker while her roommate would bring the microwave, tv, and wall mirror. It was pretty equal in spending, although Livana ended up spending more on a mini fridge than she expected but she didn't mind. If they needed to go shop for extra things they could do so at any time since she had her own car. "Gosh I need a breather..." Livana huffed from moving things around. She jumped up onto her bed and opened up her laptop to take a little break from unpacking.
