A Man in Love with the Sea and the Ships that Sail
The world has always known the sea more than it knew the land, the world never knew cold or ice, and as millennium after millennium passed the world was divided into continents, then further into islands. At last came the age of man, and across the world rose island kingdoms, cultivating the meager earth for food and resources, always their eyes turned outwards to the sea, to distant islands where they may find enough to make their lives more comfortable. In the beginning they crafted simple canoes and rafts to harvest the resources of neighboring islands, each harvest brought more wealth to each group, and eventually grand societies rose on the beaches. Democracies, Kingdoms, Empires, all created larger ships, crafted greater technologies, the world was thrust into a race for resources. Now there are four factions across the globe vying for the wealth of the world with sword and sail and cannon, pirates roam the waters, gold changes hands, treasures are buried or lost beneath the waves. Become a member of this great world, join a crew and jaunt over the waves in search of your own goals, duel with magic, swords, and simple firearms, come face to face with mighty beasts from the deep, horrors never driven to extinction by the Age of Ice.
