One x One Our Foolish Heroes (locations and npcs and more)

Rantos

The man with 1001 waifus
The many strata of Babel
Each Stratum of the Tower is different from the last. So unique are the strata, going from one to the next is like entering a world . Each floor as its own ecosystem, and monsters to boot. The higher one goes, the more ferocious the monsters. Yet, the higher one goes the more valuable the materials and artifacts one could bring back.

Stratum 1: Emerald Falls.
Pixiv.Id.2033916.600.2211092.jpg

Plains of green, and falls of crystal. Within the first stratum lives an entire ecosystem. The first stratum is shaped like a cone, with the entrance being the bottom, more narrow, part. As one travels upwards the perimeter of the clifts increase. The monsters are nothing special, yet one should still keep their wits about them while traversing the floor of green.

Stratum 2:Amber Canopy
Kawashiro.Nitori.600.2107954.jpg

A forest of red above, and grey below. The floor of the second stratum is rocky terrain. There are many rivers and naturally formed reservoirs here. Caution is advised while exploring this floor as the monsters are stronger, more vicious, and landslides are common. Many adventures give up the journey here, the second stratum serves as a buffer. Separating the true adventures from those who lack resolve.

Stratum 3:The Forgotten Ruins
Black★Rock.Shooter.(Character).600.1987254.jpg

The memory of civilization is laid to rest here, only a ruined visage remains. Nothing remains but ruin, what used to be slowly returns to dust. The ruins were already in Bable by the time the first human stepped foot in the third stratum. Their past remains a mystery. Most adventurers lose their lives on this floor. The monsters are unlike those of the first two strata. The creatures that roam the empty streets are the things of nightmares. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

Stratum 4: Unexplored

Stratum 5: Unexplored

The city of Tsu
A city that neighbors the Tower of Babel. A prosperous port town the deals in the trading of resources gathered from the Tower. The town is nestled against the sea. People from different lands make their home here, making the city a melting pot of cultures. It can be expensive to live in Tsu for those who are not adventures. Most of the people in Tsu are just that: adventures.

The Stuffed Pig: Warming hearts and filing stomaches
Touhou.600.2045104.jpg

One of the many taverns in the city of Tsu, a popular one amongst adventures. Good company, good food and the best drinks in all the city. A good place to celebrate, collaborate and share information with fellow adventurers. The denizens of Tsu will often leave requests for adventures to undertake, side jobs for some extra cash. The tavern is run by a brash yet kind man named Cas.

The Sunrise Inn: Warm beds and subpar breakfast
jenettasinn.jpg

An inn that hosts adventures. Though not the most luxurious the price is good and the staff is nice. One can find all the base amenities here: a bed, a bathroom, and a large bucket that just passes as a bathtub. Pillows cost extra. The inn is run by two sisters. One works the counter while the other tends to maintenance, the names of the sisters are Lun and Jun respectively.

The Guild Hall: Where the true adventure begins
6326086632_d80745bd94_z.jpg

The Guild Hall is where a group of adventures can register for a guild. All business involving guilds is conducted here. Abandon all hope, ye who enter. From opening to closing the guild hall is often filled with eager adventures. The lines are long and the wait time is longer. Quests right from the monarch of Tsu are assigned here. The one running the show in the guild hall is a veteran warrior known as Windol.

Nitori's Ye Ol' Shoppe: For all your odds and ends needs
Kawashiro.Nitori.600.597602.jpg

The one-stop shop for everything an adventurer needs. A small shop located outside the main city walls. Here one can find a small collection of tools, weapons, and armor. Anything one may need going into the Tower. The shop can also do custom orders, assuming the adventures can provide the materials. Run by a passionate inventor prodigy named Nitori, with the humble goal of making sure the few adventurers who visit her shop are well equipped to face the dangers of the Tower.

Magic and you
Magic is common in this world, anyone can learn it, anyone can use it. The art of magic is not one heavily practiced, as the mental strain tends to be more than people like to handle. Easing the mental strain of magic takes devotion to the art and time that not many are willing to put in, so unless needed for one's profession people don't often go out of their way to learn the art. Most adventures know some form of magic, as it is a helpful tool in the Tower. Some devote themselves entirely to fighting with the art of magic, others learn it as a complement to the sword. The most common and useful forms of attack magic come in three flavors: fire, ice, and volt. Magic isn't limited to the three elements, those just happen to be the most common forms. The number of things one can do with this art is truly limitless. However, like any craft, one must devote themselves wholly if they wish to use magic to its absolute potential.

Race and you
Many races exist in this world. Everything from the all too common human, to the mountain-dwelling beast-men, to the water fairing merpeople, and the nigh extinct Angelics, just to name a few. For the most part, the many races get along, not without a small share of problems, however. Races in the minority are often looked down upon. Humans are the most plentiful amongst the other races, and they do most of the segregating. Though Tsu is a city welcoming of all it still suffers from unequal rights as laws recognizing a few of the races as true people have yet to be passed.

Adventuring and you
Though adventurer is an occupation that anyone can obtain relatively no problem one is not recognized as a true adventurer until they join a guild. Once in a guild, the members are recognized as official adventurers by the Monarch. Once someone becomes an official adventurer they are allowed access to the second floor and shops are allowed to sell high-end weapons to them as well as some adventurer exclusive items. Offical adventurers may also receive missions right from the Monarch, though a privilege such as that is reserved for the cream of the crop. Being in a guild also entitles one to own a guild building.

The Tower and you
Adventures make their income through a few ways. One, by finishing quests sent by the populace and reaping the rewards. Two, by gathering materials and artifacts within the Tower and selling them outside. Three, by making a great discovery or eliminating a great threat. The reward for the third
option is given from the Monarch themselves. It can be rough, making a living as an adventurer. The first floors materials don't sell for much, nor do the quests on that floor pay much. The second and third floors will make an adventurer more money but at the cost of danger around each corner. The Tower is a terrifying place, once within one can never consider themselves safe. The Tower and its monsters should not be taken lightly.
