----------

Name: Livana Iselin Amsel.

Livana - the moon; white. Hebrew.

Iselin - pretty; eyes that smile. German.

Amsel - blackbird. German.

Nicknames: Liv; Livvy; Vana.

Age: Sixteen, approaching seventeen.

Traits: Livana is, in a word, unique. She has wisdom beyond her years, but she expresses it in ways that tends to make her peers view her as weird. She is kind as could be with a heart purer than freshly fallen snow, and is always willing to set her own needs aside to help others. Unfortunately, this leads to people taking advantage of her often, but she is more forgiving than she should be, and almost never holds a grudge. She is gentle and quiet, rarely raising her voice, but knows when she needs to step forward and be firm. She is good with children due to her patience and loving nature; not to mention the fact that they find the quirky things she says amusing. Though she dislikes being lonely, she has grown adjusted to it after years of being rejected by her peers. However, despite how none want to call her a friend, she gives off this sense of serenity and tranquility that has people running to her whenever they're in distress, and being the sweet girl she is, she always welcomes them with open arms. She is content with who she is and is a naturally honest person, finding ways to phrase what she says so the truth isn't as painful.

Appearance: Livana I. Amsel. <3

Livana, although not traditionally "beautiful," is an undeniably pretty girl. (She even did a bit of modeling at one point, but soon decided it wasn't for her.) She's petite, standing at 5'1 and weighing a meager ninety-eight pounds, and possesses rather spindly limbs. She has curly platinum blonde hair that hangs down past her hips, framing a round and pale face. Her eyes are slightly larger than the average person's, but are lovely all the same, a gorgeous shade of light blue in color and framed by light eyelashes. She has thin lips and a straight nose, with naturally rosy cheeks. She has small feet and slightly childish hands. She doesn't have a large bust or curvacious hips, but she is comely all the same.

Sexuality: Acesexual and panromantic, meaning that she has no interest in sex, but is romantically attracted to any gender.

Extra Information:

+ Livana is rather eccentric, a trait which she inherited from her father, Mordecai. This was to be expected, since he raised her mostly on his own, so she picked up a lot of his traits during their years together. Her mother, Elodie, passed away when Livana was merely five years old. Though she doesn't remember the woman all too well, she remembers her being kind and patient, just as Livana is now. Though it hurt them all to lose her, photographs of Elodie still hang all throughout the house, and Livana wears some of her clothes from time to time. In fact, Livana's most treasured object was a gift from her mother. It was a small vial on a string, a necklace that Elodie made for Livana herself. The liquid inside (which Elodie always described as being "rosewood pink") glows in the dark, though when Elodie presented Livana with the necklace, she told her it would glow whenever she was around. Though Livana is old enough now to know the truth, she still wears the necklace all the time, since it brings her comfort.

+ There are a great many things that Livana enjoy, though there are two main hobbies that take up most of her time: painting and gardening. Livana has always loved art, and discovered that she had a certain knack for it when she was about eight years old. Nowadays she is almost constantly sketching out ideas, which she later recreates on a canvas with the expensive paints her father insists on purchasing for her. She hardly owns an article of clothing that isn't stained with paint or, due to her other passion, dirt. She adores gardening, and can often be found kneeling in her front yard, transferring flowers from a small pot to the ground or gardening her plants. She talks to them as though they're her children, and insists that speaking to them helps them grow. Her favorite things to grow are bluebells.

+ Livana was brought up in a cute little house on the edge of the woods, with only her father and her brother, Kozmotis, to keep her company. Kozmotis, who she calls Koz, is the closest friend she has. Although this doesn't say much, considering her lack of friends, they do have a particularly strong bond. Livana followed Kozmotis like his shadow ever since she could walk, and has always idolized him. Though a mischievous child at first, Kozmotis, who is currently nineteen, became rather mature as soon as he was old enough to realize how much his actions impacted Livana. He adores his little sister and is fiercely protective, this last trait increasing in recent years after Livana expressed to him how lonely and ostracized she felt at school. Though he doesn't share his sister's dreamy persona, he understands her better than anyone. Though they do love each other, he's never really gotten along with his father, and the only reason he hasn't moved out yet is he's afraid Mordecai won't take care of Livana properly.

+ Just like anyone else, Livana has things she likes and things she dislikes. Among the list of things she likes would be forests, particularly the one behind her house. She loves the tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of the nature that surrounds her, so when she needs to think, the forest is where she goes. She also loves rain, since she finds it soothing. (However, she is terrified of storms.) She has a certain fondness for wild animals, particularly butterflies and deer, possessing a way with them that no one really understands. On the other hand, though, dogs frighten her, most likely due to an incident when she was a child where she was attacked by one while walking home with Kozmotis, who promptly fought it off with a large stick. She also despises the dark, which led to her hanging fairy lights throughout her bedroom.

Livana never had been very good at paying attention. No matter the situation, all it took was one mildly interesting thought, and her mind was off. Whether it be about if there was a way for humans to fly, or an idea for a fairy house she hoped to make, it didn't take much to distract her. So, it was understandable that her teachers frequently had to say her name more than once to get his attention. (This didn't stop her from being on good terms with them all and getting good grades, however.) Currently, she sat in her Sociology classroom, her gaze out the window and her mind currently wandering the forest behind his house. "Livana!" Mrs. Porter, the teacher, called for the third time, finally managing to catch the blonde's attention. She turned, a light smile on her face and her hands folded lightly in her lap. "Yes, Ms. Porter?" She chirped, tilting her head slightly. Ms. Porter sighed but smiled despite herself, placing her hands on her hips. "I said that your partner for this project is Welsh," She informed her, gesturing toward a rather punk-esque looking boy, "Go sit with him, please." Livana nodded silently, gathering her things and moving into the empty seat beside the attractive older boy. She kept her head down as Ms. Porter finished pairing people up, then handing out project descriptions. Livana read over it quickly, her icy eyes flying across the page before she set it on the desk. Apparently, it was all about getting to know a stranger, someone different from herself. With the thought, she turned to her partner, smiling sweetly. "Hello," She greeted, holding out a hand for the boy to shake, "I'm Livana. If I heard her correctly, your name is Welsh?"

Welsh was sitting down in class not paying attention to class that much spinning a pencil on his finger and looking out the window and he could hear a name being called it was a girl called her name was called Livana and Mrs. Porter was calling her name three times before she answered politely welsh was thinking "gosh she's an airhead and a suck up" and continued spinning his pencil and he heard his teacher saying she'll be partnered with him and he looked up with a calm face as the girl came over and sat next to him and asked if his name was welsh he stuck out his hand and said "yep, my name is welsh and nice to meet you Livana" he said with a calm and straight face with a monotone voice.

Livana smiled, shaking his head briefly before releasing it and folding her hands once more. "It's a pleasure to meet you," She told him politely, turning her gaze back to the front of the room when Mrs. Porter continued to give directions. "Now, I'll give you the rest of class to get started, but after today you won't have any class time, so you'll have to work together outside of school," She informed them, handing out question packets to each of the pairs, as well as a small packet to write their answers in. Livana scanned that over as well, glancing towards the teacher to make sure she was done speaking before turning towards Welsh, finding the first question. "Alright," She murmured to herself before raising her gaze and asking the question in a more audible tone, "When is your birthday, and how old are you?"

Welsh looked at her and said "born in December 20, 1997" and looks at her "I'm 17 and how about you"

[i'll be right back.]

Livana nodded, writing the answer in the dedicated spot. "I'm sixteen, and I was born September fifth, 1996," She replied, swinging her legs. As usual, she was dressed in a way that was very uniquely her. She'd put her outfit together herself, from the polka dotted headband to the pink shoes with the little bows on the toes. She looked for the next question. "What's your favorite hobby?" She asked softly, fiddling with the vial that hung around her neck.

"What's my favorite hobby working on my motorcycles" he was wearing an all black attire that suited him making him look tuff.

Livana nodded once more, scrawling down the answers. "Mine would have to be painting," She said quietly, then after a moment of thought, added, "Or gardening. They're both quite enjoyable." At that moment, the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Livana wrote her phone number and address on a slip of paper, handing it to Welsh. "Here. Come over any time, and we can keep working," She told him with a smile, gathering her things and skipping out of the room.
