The price of blood,


the prince of shadow,


a toll unpaid,


and peoples suffer,


a high kings and queens play their games,


a chest board of life is now laid,


and no will remain un scathed.

A story was once told of two villages who lived side by side. The only thing separating them was a river running down the middle. Yet, even though the two peoples were so close they were nothing alike. To the east where the sun rose were the people called Arua speakers, or just Aruas for short. They worshiped the sun at the life forces they obtained from it. To west laid the setting sun and the shadowmancers. They lived in the comfort of the shadows, and believed that one's own shadow part of their own soul. The villages balanced each other and for many years they had peace.

Yet, as they say the golden ages never last and after both villages grew into kingdoms war rained upon them. The reason for the war like many others lost to time. The once peaceful kingdoms grew to hate each other. Fields were soaked in blood, corpses were burned and the air filled with the sweet smell of burning flesh. Peace even now seems like a lost dream, hope a sweet illusion.

Now we are in the present and this is no long just a story. The latest bubble of truce popped. The death of a shadow prince sending the torn kingdoms into battle once again. The Rulers of the Shadowmancers High King Milokious and his Queen Ezmeralda are demanding blood. The Lone Arua Queen Izia refusing to pay their toll. So, now its up to the heirs, the people, and the rulers to decide the kingdoms fates.

Shadows want their royal blood repaid. A sacrifice must be made.

Aruas of Light turn a blind eye to the suffering around them.

Shadowmancer and Arua Speakers both have powers that will be explained once the main thread is up.

This is just an interest check. I did this rp once before and it turned out pretty well. So, if I can get at least 4 people interested I will start this rp.
