Brooklyn has a reputation. Those who don't live there know it for crime, and those who do defend it wholeheartedly (mostly). But either way, Brooklyn's firefighters are some of the most passionate and hardest working there are. It wasn't expected that after just another call, a group of them would be thrown into an investigation for foul play. Of course, none of them would assist in tax fraud of all things, but odds aren't looking in their favor.

After being placed on administrative leave while the investigation proceeds, the group feels like everything is out of their control. But not too long into their break, each of them receives a phone call from an unfamiliar voice asking them to meet up together "or else". Call it paranoia or maybe just curiosity, but none of them are really in a position to decline.

But whoever the caller was didn't have good intentions, and now they're being led on a wild chase throughout the city, subject to cruel tasks as the unknown figure dangles the prospect of freedom over their heads. At first it's just one more task, but one turns into two and two turns into ten. As the game goes on, they begin to understand just how much the figure knows about them, and just how little they care for their wellbeing.

Their jobs, their reputations, their lives: It's all on the line. Would you share someone else's secrets to keep yours? Rob a store to save your reputation? Kidnap someone to protect your family? They're stuck in this game together, and the the way out is through.

Hey everyone! Thank you for reading through all of that. The rules I'm looking to keep for this RP aren't anything you haven't seen before, but I'll list them here anyways:

Please keep all drama in character and be cordial to your fellow writers. While this isn't meant to be a fluffy experience for the characters, that doesn't mean their writers should be fighting for them.

No godmodding. Though the characters are firefighters and should be skilled, there's a difference between street-smart and unrealistically all-knowing.

I'm looking for a literate group that can write 3-5 paragraphs. I understand variation based on situation and muse, but no one liners, please!
[div class=tag]rule 04[/div] Since this will be dealing with more mature themes, I'd prefer for you to be at least 16+.
