Once upon a time in a world, none other than our own, servants came to existence. Those who were deemed to be worthy of their power, a summon would be appointed to by powers greater than they could even imagine. The first time this happened was centuries ago. To be more precise: 1750. Indeed, the date might ring some bells with people as it was in fact the age of revolution. It didn’t solely happen with only humans as some were still hesitant to do something that went beyond. To make you remember it a bit more: The Age of Revolution was a period in which the Western world underwent several major revolutions, changing society from autocratic monarchies to more democratic republics. This was set forth by the help of their summons. Giving the humans courage to do what they believed in. It worked out pretty fine, seeing how the world was this day. It also included the Haitian revolution against slavery.
Now summons became a regular thing in this world, appearance-wise. Those who received them were treated differently from other normal human beings. Due to the power that resided within them. Not magical but the will to do something even if they didn’t realise it themselves yet. Some fell into chaos, while others did for good. Of course, even if it was rare, the summons could die due to the neglections of their master. It happened in the past which was extremely frowned upon by the people. Yet the government couldn’t do anything to prevent it as they had human laws only. Summons shouldn’t abide by them unless if humans were harmed, they could be taken into custody or worse.
Summons also had the upper hand when it came to physical strength. No average human being could keep up with them, unless those who were actual athletes. However, once they would get serious, it was useless. Therefore it was important for other summons to protect their master from any possible hostility as they were the only ones that could do so. A terrifying thought that conquered the humans’ minds for a period of time, until they realized they weren’t actually bad of nature [with exceptions, some even unexpected].

Luluru was one of the summons who got send to Earth. A ghoul from the world Vermilion. It was inhabited by multiple species who weren’t particularly praised for their reputation: demons, ghouls, zombies, cerberus’, dragons, etc. It was a place where one had to fight for their freedom, for people to take them seriously. The more power one had, the more respect they received, and probably the more enemies as well. Her job as a bountyhunter made her one of the most famous ones around, mainly known for her tactics and strength which shouldn’t be underestimated at all cost.
Being summoned to the house where the new chosen masters would assemble. It was bigger than Luluru thought it would be. Yet it didn’t come close to the castles in her world. Managing to enter the building through the mini-door which was placed next to the normal-sized one. Her eyes growing wide as she saw the inside. It surprisingly had a cosy aura, which made it pleasant to be in. With little squeaky sounds, she made her way around: the first thing she came across was the living room, in the back was the kitchen and dining area, to the left was a bathroom, upstairs were the bedrooms which were average sized, only the necessary furniture was inside so the new residents could decorate it to their hearts’ desire. Of course there was also a bathroom upstairs, similar to the one downstairs. They even had a small garden ! The costs for rearranging their rooms was one the landlord, though that would be a one-time thing.
It was certainly going to be quite an adventure.
