Fantasy Of Blood and Iron

Sweet Sonata

Dance upon the winds of your wildest dreams

His son has been following his father on 'adventures' for as long as he could remember despite the rather loud disapproval from his mother. His father claimed his son had to learn the ways of magic and the world or he would never survive in the coming days.
For almost two years they traveled the world "rescuing" treasures. But one day that treasure happened to be a little girl. His father had no idea the great item of magic was a tiny little girl who seemed to be half starved and have no sense of the world at all. Upon discovering that the girl was the thing he did indeed seek, his father decided that he couldn't leave her there. Nothing could sway his father for taking the weird kid, even using the words his mother would have quickly scolded him for. The little girl obviously wasn't entirely human and was just a creature of magic, not worth their time. His mother unfortunately agreed with his father, so...he had a sister. A strange, magic casting little brat of a sister. When their mother died four years later they had no choice but to bring her along.
The years passed and sibling rivalry was found, left and occasionally found again to push the others nose in it. From that point on a lot of their trouble seemed centered around a certain little lavender eyed girl.

When he was twenty-two, his father took one step too far toward danger. All because his supposed sister should have been listening but instead she had been enamored with some magic thing as she always was. When she came back to camp helping their father walk, he knew it was too late. She should have been able to heal him, she had the magic to do so..but why bring him back to die?

All his troubles began with that little girl, and his father's had ended with them. And his had begun.
