Labor Conscript: If you are aged 18-19, this is your occupation by default. You would have been transferred from your family unit, given a jumpsuit uniform, and provided living space among other conscripts in a special dormitorial zone. The two-year period focuses on public service, citizen etiquette, and Autumn indoctrination.
Factory Laborer: You work in a manufacturing plant. Many state-owned enterprises exist, but private industrialists are large employers as well.
Sludgework Laborer: You work in a powersludge plant, maintaining the facility and ensuring that it keeps generating energy. Involves working with dangerous biological agents, so personal protection is provided.
Sanitation Laborer: You are either part of a crew that keeps public property clear of rubbish, or you are a janitor that is attached to a specific building.
Speedrail Laborer: You work in the city's underground subway system, repairing the speedtrain tracks and maintaining the metro stations.
Ration Distributor: You sit in a booth, smile, and hand out rationed goods to civilians who appear at terminals.
Underground Farmer: You work in a government-run underground farm, probably operating simple equipment and sorting out produce.
Substitution Gardener: You lay down artificial grass turf and erect fake trees, bushes, etc. on property to make it look more appealing.
Office Drudge: You sit in a desk all day, completing endless paperwork inside a bureaucratic or corporate institution.
Office Adjunct: You are an underling to a higher-ranking employee in a bureaucratic or corporate institution.
Civil Editor: You work in a bureaucratic institution, reviewing mostly trivial documents and altering the wording in accordance to mandated guidelines.
Carrier: You are a deliveryperson and messenger for a private business entity, or the state.
Scuttler: You drive a truck, going door-to-door to deliver scuttled water to various family units.
Notice Delegate: You wear a simple uniform, and go around handing out leaflets and government notices, usually door-to-door.
Propaganda Artist: You are artistically inclined, and have been mandatorily commissioned by the government to produce various bits of propagandic artwork for them.
Propaganda Musician: You are musically inclined, and have been mandatorily commissioned by the government to play music and/or participate in orchestras.

Peace Officer: You are a member of the Constabulary's unsworn reserve branch. Your duties generally concern traffic direction, answering the questions of civilians, and dealing with petty crimes. You do not carry a gun.

Tradejack: You specialize in skills that are unrelated to technics or wetware. Examples are electricos and greasers, who work with wires and automotives, respectively.
