Years at Camp: Pretty much since he was born.
Brief Personality: Peter is an odd guy. Maybe it's because if he has the slightest amount of fun, it's immediately credited to his father, Lord of all Drunks and Ragers, the leopard print-wearing dumbass himself and old guy who's way too enthusiastic about turning demigods into dolphins.... Yea, who wouldn't be proud to have that as a father? He doesn't drink(much), though he does go to every party he hears about at camp, and a few mortal ones as well. He's loyal to his friends, as many are, and strives to be better than his father, which, in his opinion, isn't very hard. He's always been the type to have a few very close friends than a lot of distant ones, and he's not one to be jealous of others' success, or take sides in the conflicts between his friends. He tries to be the mediator if at all possible. He severely underestimates himself in all situations, which often leads to him not taking chances or trying many new things, for fear that he'll fail at them.
Brief Background: Somehow, Dionysus managed to land a wedding planner. Even Peter really couldn't believe it, when he first met his father. After all, especially for a god, the guy wasn't... You know, godly. He had a paunch, a really, really bold choice in shirts, and an obsession with getting people's names wrong. Even after twenty years, he still occasionally called Packer Brent, which was a bit irritating. It was his mother's choice to send him to camp when he could barely walk, even though it wasn't exactly a day care, so he could 'be close to his father' or something, and he ended up having absolutely no choice in the matter, considering he was two. He started off just being there a few months out of the year, mostly being taken care of and babysat by bored campers, but by the time he was eight, he was going year-round, doing everything he could to stay out of trouble and avoid his father at all costs. He went to his first party when he was eleven, and it changed his entire view on life. People were having fun, not caring about the consequences, not doubting themselves, just enjoying the company of the people around them. It was the first time Peter came close to accepting his parentage.

He spent the next ten years debating whether or not he should escape camp or just accept the fact that he'd never be able to leave. As little as his father seemed to care about him, the old man really wanted him to stick around, which was incredibly annoying. He spent a lot of time training, mostly as an outlet for the boredom that mounted in him. After all, if you'd climbed the same rock wall since you were ten, you'd be a bit sick of it, too. It didn't help that he didn't have any siblings - Dionysus was a god with few demigod children, he was usually quite committed to his immortal wife, Ariadne, though he occasionally... Slipped up, resulting in happy little mistakes like Peter.
Strengths: He's athletic, loyal, follows orders, and is good with a sword, dagger, and a bow.
Weaknesses: Severe lack of confidence, far too obedient, and is only at all skilled with three weapons. Attempting any other form of combat usually ends with him failing miserably, particularly hand-to-hand.
Fatal Flaw: Inferiority - His low self-esteem is a constant in his life.
Weapon: He has a regular, camp-issued sword and bow, along with both a bronze and a silver dagger.
How Did They Get Their Weapon: Just from Hephaestus campers.
Godly Powers: He has slight chlorokinesis - he can manipulate some plants, but mostly those that have some form of vine. Grapevines, for example, are a particular favorite of his. He can induce madness in enemies, though it takes immense concentration, and it's temporary, it only lasts for a few hours at most, and doing it more than once or twice in a day could absolutely kill Peter. And, last but not least, he can't get drunk. Ever. No matter how much he drinks. Real fun at parties.

Brief Personality: Nicholas is a very casual person. He rarely gets angry about anything(though, if you are unlucky enough to face his wrath... Run), or really upset in general. He prefers being as laidback and relaxed as possible. Now, if anyone was to make a joke about how 'chill' he is, then he might get mildly annoyed for a moment. He loves being the life of every party, the center of attention, and everyone's friend. He's a bit dramatic, moreso than necessary, but he considers it to be part of his charm, and nobody's complained yet... To his face. He's almost as bad as an Aphrodite camper when it comes to drama and gossip, mostly because he quite enjoys teasing people about things he's heard. He rarely contributes the rumor mill himself, and, ironically enough, other people's secrets are a serious matter to him. If someone confides in him, he'll take it to his grave, no doubt. He's a natural-born flirt, he's not the best at the commitment thing, and he's a bit of a serial dater. If he gets to the dating stage, that is.
Brief Background: Nick was born in Quebec, where his father is currently located. His mother was a woman addicted to travel, loved to fly to new places and see new things. Of course, that went on hold for a while when she suddenly got knocked up, but plans change, and she loved Quebec, she was more than happy to raise her child there, teach him French, and maybe even introduce him to his father one day, if she could find the man. Unfortunately, as it goes with those pesky little immortals, they were terrible parents, and Nick lived a pretty happy life without ever meeting or wanting to meet the donor of half of his DNA. He was a pretty popular kid in school as he tried out different cliques, different stereotypes. He wasn't the best prep, he was a terrible bad boy, and gods, he was way too bad at sports to be a jock, so he ended up with the outcasts, and he became the most popular outcast there was. Everyone in town knew him and loved him, because what was there to dislike, aside from some key parts of his personality and how many girls he dated?

His life changed drastically when he became a teenager, and not just in pubescent ways. The monster attacks started coming, and he had no idea what was happening. His mother, as clueless as she was and as blind as she was to the monsters that came for her precious son, could do nothing but watch in confusion as her son ran from a Laestrygonian(he made friends with a few of those in his time, but he's met some nasty ones). It ended in the way many of these stories do, and his mother became a casualty of war, a passing death in the sea of graves that the gods caused. It was less than a week later that the calling card for Camp Half-Blood breezed into his life. Literally. The wind blew it into his hands while he was visiting his mother's grave, great timing, Dad. He packed a bag, and he was gone before he could get sent to his creepy aunt's house. Between buses and hitchhiking, he made it to Camp, where he stayed year-round. He's still technically missing in Quebec, though he's presumed dead.
Strengths: Good shape, very social, decent at most ranged weapons, and wicked with a dagger.
Weaknesses: Cannot fight with a sword to save his life, doesn't take anything seriously, and doesn't take well to authority figures.
Fatal Flaw: Lewdness and Defiance. He enjoys the physical aspect of relationships more than the emotional part, and he cannot stand people who throw their weight around or think they're better than him, particularly authority figures.
Weapon: A crossbow with bolts, along with two daggers that he keeps in his waistband.
How Did They Get Their Weapon: Forged at camp
Godly Powers: He doesn't get cold easily, or really at all, he has some control over the winds, though he's not well-practiced in it. He can technically fly, but every attempt he's done has ended in humiliating failure. If he's concentrating hard, he can manipulate the weather(similar to Percy's personal hurricane, but a snowstorm), or manipulate snow or ice. He also knows French, though that might be more due to his time living in Quebec than his father.

Personality:
This crafty little son of a devil is always looking to make the first move. And, as if constantly being on his toes wasn't hard enough, he covers that up with a cool yet sardonic demeanor. See, Jesse wants people to believe he has it all together, like he isn't as scared of himself as they are. His only other constant is being let down.

He knows how it feels to have every last one of his hopes crushed, but he also acknowledges that it'd be better to pass everything off as if he doesn't care. It saves him from having to make bonds that will only be taken away at some point. His life is surrounded by loss. Being a Child of the Underworld, tragedy defines him. He's so scared of making friends or even loving someone because it's like he's fucking cursed. So he builds his walls and makes sure no one gets in by being the first to cut a throat. It's better(for him) that way.

Adelaide is a fun-loving mischief-making twenty year old girl. With an attention span of a goldfish, it's easy for her to lose interest easily. There's little to few things that she's kept interest until today. Routines quickly become boring to her. So it's up to her to find something that will amuse her. She'll attend parties, do a few pranks, cause mayhem here and there. With great social skills and charisma, it's easy for her to be a life of the party. She can easily drop the beat and perform great tunes no matter what instrument on hand she has. She can adapt easily no matter what situation is on hand. Adelaide has quick wits, able to avoid from having the situation turning awkward or simply worsen. However, she's terribly lazy. It takes a great deal of persuasion for her to do anything. If she does not deem it interesting, she'll simply ignore what's happening. Majority of the time, Adelaide remains indifferent to most to almost all matters. She can be somewhat oblivious, or would lack of empathy in situations that can make her seem heartless. She tends to turn a blind eye to things unless it would arouse her interest otherwise she wouldn't bother making a move.

Adelaide's Mother was a free soul who enjoyed nature. There isn't anything in particular that stood out about her but she had a very beautiful voice which attracted Apollo. Eventually they had Adelaide. The Sun God had many demigod children, however his daughters could be considered to be rather small compared to his sons. With great fondness for his demigod daughter, he'd often visit the mother and daughter pair. Her parents would often play a duet for her. But as Adelaide grew older, Apollo deemed it was too dangerous to keep visiting and propose that they tell the young girl that he has gone somewhere until she becomes aware of her godly heritage.

Even as a little girl, Adelaide had poor concentration. She'd take interest in something but would quickly look interest right after. The only thing that consistently keep her mood up is music. Every demigod had ADHD but she takes it another notch. She can't keep still to herself. In the name of amusing herself, she'd cause mischief and mayhem. There is no saying the number of times that her mother was called to the office before she was even ten. Adelaide dreaded nap times the most during those days. It was terribly difficult to put her to bed.

Suddenly life took a major turn when she was ten years old. Her mother managed to avoid monster attacks without her knowing by constantly travelling and moving, covering their tracks. But this time, they couldn't avoid it any longer. The monster attacks have become more frequent. They took a more direct approach. Her mother couldn't hide the monsters that was chasing and attacking them. Adelaide, herself, was persistent in learning what was going on. Which was a far cry to her usual indifferent self that didn't question her mother no matter how much they moved and in the end, stopped Adelaide in attending school.

She moved into Camp Half-blood. For the first few months, she was entranced with everything as it was new and exciting. It was much better than her mundane life where she needed to study- which she didn't like. She was also quite interested in her heritage, reading a few books in learning more about her Father- who she hasn't seen in years and the reality they've lived in. She was quite surprised learning he's a god (he doesn't seem godly at all). However, once her interest dwindled, it spelled trouble. She practiced less and caused more mischief. She had to be persuaded to train. She didn't really care much in losing or winning. She can fight well enough relying on her natural talent and quick wits.

Once she learned that campers could have quests, Adelaide often went on quests. She found facing life and death situations exhilarating. The more dangerous it was, the more motivated she becomes. She had various of close calls but she's become one of the campers that had the best experience and known for quick thinking. She's learned to deal with situations when it looks bleak and plan a few steps ahead. However, this is only for the case when she's motivated. Otherwise, she'd let others do the most the leading and the work. She would listen with one ear to another which could frustrate her fellow campers. She'd often be joking as well even when the situation is uncalled for, which has almost gotten her killed couple of times.

Brief Personality:
Abele prefer's to spend his day's at the stables helping out and relaxing instead of worrying over his looks and he doesn't interact with other's much. But he has befriended other campers unknowingly by helping them or giving a listening ear, especially the younger members. He has a soft spot for kids and most at the camp learned to seek him out for help practicing or to comfort them when they are home sick. He is also known to 'mother hen' a few of the truly young ones, though he would deny it if called out, and has shown to be surprisingly vengeful when they are hurt, especially by another camper. Who usually find themselves on the wrong end of a prank or amidst furious gossip when one of their secrets are exposed. He is one of the best Pegasus riders at camp and has a close bond with a grey Pegasus named Eclipses. When it comes to the games at camp like capture the flag he prefers to stay on the wayside helping figure out strategies instead of being a key player. He is known for being observant and picking up on things others don't. Sometimes even unknowingly.

Brief History:
Abele's father runs a stable in Italy that houses and trains some of the most famous race horses in the world. His mother, Aphrodite, came upon his father while he attended a business meeting in America and they held a brief affair. Many months later Aphrodite found his father again, back in Italy, and brought with her a newborn baby boy. After gifting Abele his name she proceeded to leave him with his father. Abele's father wanted him to be the perfect son and placed high expectations on him. However, they where quickly squished. It was quickly discovered early in Abele's life that he had dyslexia and ADHD. So he was always restless and unable to concentrate. His father got him tutor after tutor to try and correct what he saw as flaws. Which only worsened their relationship, especially when one tutor accused Abele of stealing his pocket-watch. Abele had asked him for it and the tutor gave it to him, but his father wouldn't listen. Abele's father seemed to give up on him after that and Abele at only ten years old learned never to ask for things. It would only cause trouble.
Their love of horses was the one thing the two shared and Abele often spent his days learning to ride or helping care for them. When he turned ten yrs old his father married and Abele was sent to live with his Aunt Arena and he only saw his father on the occasional holiday or odd summer.
Abele grew to see his aunt as the mother he had always wished for. She cared about him and seemed to understand him in a way his father just couldn't, and even figured out why he had trouble reading or concentrating. He had dyslexia and adhd. So when his Aunt was offered a job at Julliard, he asked his father to allow him to go with. Not that he needed much convincing. Abele didn't much like the overpopulated city compared to the Italian countryside he grew up in but slowly grew used to it. He never had many friends though, and so spent his days after school in his aunt's classroom, listening to the music, or reading at the library to try to overcome his dislexia. He encountered his first monster when he was ten after getting lost of his way home from one of his few friends houses but was saved by a fellow demigod from the Ares Cabin. Soon Abele and his aunt learned he to was a demigod and was sent to the camp to learn to protect himself where he was claimed by his mother shortly after arriving. Abele, while still an outcast for the most part, grew to love the camp and began going every summer. When he was thirteen he started staying year around after his aunt was almost killed by a monster attracted by Abele. So that his aunt would not be in danger. Now he only goes home a few times a year for visits.
Strengths:
Observant, best Pegasus rider in the camp, has great stamina, and is capable of using his longbow on horseback.
Weaknesses:
He is not physically very strong and does not do well in hand to hand combat. He is only skilled with a long bow and has mastered his Amokenisis abilities just enough to be able to not use them unwittingly.
Fatal Flaw:

He will risk his life for those he cares about or considers family, or make sacrifices to keep them safe. Like leaving his aunt so she won't be targeted by monsters.
Self esteem:
Though good at hiding it Abele, perhaps caused by his father, has self esteem issues. He has trouble grasping his own worth and finds it strange and uncomfortable when complimented or his achievements are pointed out. This makes him see others as more useful or more worthy than him, so he often underestimates himself.​

Weapon:
He has a long bow, it's the only weapon he has mastered. He is especially skilled at using on horseback.
How Did They Get Their Weapon:
It was a birthday gift by the Hephaestus cabin when he had stood up for one of their youngest siblings when they were being bullied by a member of the ares cabin.
Godly Powers:
He has the ability to use charm speak, but has rarely used it after realizing what he was doing. Like all members of his cabin he has the ability to change his appearance (most notably his eye color which he changes often), has a high awareness, and speaks fluent french. He also has Amokinesis, he has control over many degrees of control over love, lust, beauty, etc. though on a much smaller scale than his mother. He has not used this power very often in the past, and never while meaning to. He also has magical control over clothes, makeup, and jewelry, much like the other Aphrodite kids.

Brief Personality:
For the most part, Dexter is easy to get along with. His years of thievery and opportunistic deviance have honed his social skills. He is mischievous, resourceful and roguish, preferring to believe that rules are flexible instead of immutable. However, Dexter can sometimes say what people want to hear, fabricating white-lie stories or whispering rumours to satisfy the devious strain in him. Naturally charismatic, often charming and often flirtatious, he knows exactly how to play people right into his hands. He always has a backup strategy and an escape plan, never losing his cool even in the direst of circumstances.


Despite his audacity and confidence, Dexter whole-heartedly supports the underdog - children of Hermes and unclaimed children are often regarded as misfits and miscreants lacking in godly lustre, and Dexter despises campers who look down on his siblings and friends. Nothing bristles with him more than watching an alienated camper being accepted by the masses after their mother or father has claimed them: be a friend or don't be a friend he believes, detesting the politics of selection. Anyone at Camp Half-Blood who thinks that they have a divine right to command or exert power over others will be quickly reminded that a little deception can ruin a perfect plan. And, if he has to fight for what he feels is right and just, he can and he will. Without question.


Brief Background:
Gloria Brooks was a beautiful and manipulative woman. She could steal the wallet from a man's pocket and spend his money in front of him; she could steal a diamond necklace from a woman's neck and wear it in front of her; and she could steal the heart of a god without repercussion or reprehension.


Hermes, infatuated by the skulduggery of Gloria Brooks, blessed her with a son: the child of a mortal and immortal thief.

As the third born child of Gloria Brooks, Dexter grew up as somewhat of a familial pariah; he was the youngest child in a family of thieves and scoundrels, separated from his sister and brother by a decade of existence. His siblings, Jenesis and Cassius, were the essence of larceny before Dexter had learned how to stand on his own two feet. Very little was safe if the children of Gloria Brooks wished for something to be in their sticky-fingered hands rather the ringed-fingers of the rich and famous. As he grew up, Dexter witnessed his family appropriate and misappropriate all kinds of everything: the bare necessities of life; the little niceties of living; and the extraordinary steals that, when sold to the highest bidder, filled the family’s back-pockets for weeks, if not months.

Nature and nurture took hold of young Dexter Brooks; it is hard not to fall into the family business when that business permeates every part of you. Following in the theftuous footsteps of his mother, he quickly discovered that he could take what he desired with a little trickery and planning. His father, who visited his son on his birthday, did not hinder Dexter's growth as a thief and liar.

He relished in it.

In his preadolescence, Dexter was full of mischievous abandon. He used to play in the streets with his friends until the space of sky above their heads turned the colour of ever-changing violet and towards it the lamps of the street lifted their feeble lanterns. Despite far exceeding Jenesis and Lander as a thief and trickster, which made the older Brooks children - approaching their early twenties as he approached his teenage years - vitriolic and vindictive, Dexter rarely stole without a very good reason. Gloria recognised her son’s abilities, and his disinterest in the family’s work: his preference for sleight of hand, petty crime that was the product of devilment, rather than the thrill of daylight robbery was evident to the stern woman. She - unlike her eldest children - knew the secret why.

On his eleventh birthday, Hermes suggested Dexter attend Camp Half-Blood. Reluctant at first, he soon treasured his time in Long Island. Choosing to stay at Camp all year, Dexter quickly became the face of the Hermes Cabin. He went on quests, he pranked the great and the meek, he robbed and lied to everyone and he represented, with judicial integrity, his siblings as a Counsellor. Although, he rarely thinks of his siblings back home in England, he still writes to his mother and occasionally sends her the odd stolen gift.

Weapon:
Dexter fights with a dory, a reinforced spear with a leaf-shaped spearhead composed of celestial bronze and counterbalanced by a sauroter. When not in use, the spear can be disguised as an aureate ring which bears the symbol of Hermes. Dexter also carries a xiphos, a short sword, and a kopis, a forward-curving knife, as secondary weapons.


How Did They Get Their Weapon:
Dexter’s weapons were forged by Thomas Lockstone, a child of Hephaestus and Dexter’s first boyfriend.

As a son of Hermes, Dexter is a natural athlete. He is deft, nimble and extraordinarily agile, a serpentine warrior with years of training under his belt. Willowy dexterity makes up for his lack of raw strength and power, and he has on many occasions bested the fortitude and tenacity of campers who inherited brute force from godly parents like Ares or Hephaestus - including his ex-boyfriend. If all else fails, Dexter has no qualms about controlling the tide of battle with trickery, deception and deceit. Like his siblings, Dexter will fight deviously to win, employing pranks, cons, sleight-of-hand tricks.

Like his father, he is resistant to charm-speak and other forms of underhandedness. Dexter also inherited enhanced stealth, a silent footfall and a theftuous capacity to steal without suspicion, powers to manipulate locks and money, and, in very rare circumstances, a role as psychopomp to the dead - although he has no control over when or where or why.

Additional Information:
Dexter is quite partial to snakes, unlike some of his siblings. He is very fond of George and Martha, although his sees only from time to time. His father gifted him a melanistic adder on his eighteenth, whom Dexter named "Viper." He is on fantastic terms with his father.

Brief Personality: As the daughter of Zeus, people expect her to be a natural leader. To put it simply, she's not. She was born with the natural features of a Zeus child, blonde hair and blue eyes, and did everything to hide it, dying her hair and wearing colored contacts. She enjoys living life to the fullest, spending time with people she loves, and getting into trouble that she should definitely avoid.
Brief Background: Ash was born to a wealthy woman with goals - get married to some equally or more wealthy guy, have some pretty, obedient babies, and make a lot of money. It didn't go according to plan. She fell for Zeus, lord of the gods, who left her shortly after she learned of her pregnancy, and her daughter wasn't exactly the child she'd wished from from a young age, instead she got a daughter who constantly disagreed with her, argued with her, became the image of what she despised - someone who had an opinion. Terrible, obviously. Boarding school after boarding school, Ash got kicked out of. She got a few half-siblings when her mother married a rich CEO, which just distanced her further.

It wasn't until Ash was caught with her first girlfriend that things got... Tense. Her mother was pretty uncaring about the whole ordeal, but her stepfather was a strong conservative, and made it his mission to make her life hell, henceforth forbidding her to be around her girlfriend, any of her friends.

She ran away less than a month later. As far as she was aware, they never looked for her, never bothered to try and find her. A satyr found her quickly and brought her to camp, where she fit in quickly. For one, nobody really cared who you dated, or their gender, for the most part. And two, people looked out for each other, took care of their friends. She fit in.

Strengths: Fighting with a spear, charm, hand-to-hand fighting, instinctive power usage.
Weaknesses: Practicing her magic, brute strength, being a leader or role model to literally anyone.
Fatal Flaw: Pride - She'll always believe she's the best for any task, no matter how much she truly knows that she's not.
Weapon: A bronze spear with a leather grip, which is disguised as a necklace with a spearhead pendant. She has a sword, that collects dust in her cabin, along with her shield.
How Did They Get Their Weapon: All forged by the Hephaestus cabin.
Godly Powers: She can manipulate air currents and electricity, though she's incredibly unpracticed with her powers. Her flight is shaky at best, and all of her powers are instinctual are at best, she can't really control them.
Symbol of Power: If she were to come in contact with her father's symbol of power, the master bolt, it would transform slightly, becoming a more stereotypical version of what it usually looks like(probably closer to what it looked like in the movie. Blegh, I know), a long rod with electricity crackling around it. Reflecting on her personality, the lightning would be black, not white, and it would look less tamed. The lightning around it would be a bit louder, extend a bit further from the actual weapon.​

POWERS AND WEAPONS
POWERS:
Whispers of the Damned - As a daughter of Thanatos, she can hear the whispers of spirits as well as knows the time and day that someone is going to die if she touches them. She can also release a screech with the voices of the damned that can cause someone to go deaf.
Armour of Bone - She had been born with an odd defect in which something had happened to her when she was born but her body had managed to move and shift the mistake. Her skin and bone managed to knit itself together. While it takes time, she can use her bones and bones that she collects to make armour for her and for her wolf who has been steadily getting bigger with each day.
Death Taker - She can collect the souls of the monsters and creatures of things that she's killed or has helped pass over. The same can be said about people's souls, but she couldn't keep the souls of the dead that she had come across.

WEAPON/S: She likes to carry her styigan iron sword along with two short handled celestial bronze axes on her back. She was gifted the sword from her father, but indirectly so when she managed to vanquish two eidolons and sent them back to the underworld. While typically spirits don't leave behind a trophy, a hilt for the sword had been dropped along broken pieces. She gathered the pieces together and got the help of a child of Hephaestus to show her how to forge since they couldn't touch the shards- considering it was sacred metal to the underworld and all. She made her sword herself, and got the short handled axes while at Camp.
WEAKNESSES:
If her body is injured when she has her bone armour up, her body will be taking the blunt of the damage and therefore will take however long it will need for her to physically recover from the injuries. The more damage, the longer it will take. If its a small wound, her skin can handle it.
Sometimes taking souls of the monsters can be taxing as they will not always obey and will manage to escape and return to living just after she had defeated them. It takes her body approximately 24 hours to recover from a moderate wound, and 72 if it's life threatening.

PERSONA AND HISTORY
PERSONALITY: Ylva is... well in a way... crazy. She's very pessimistic and sarcastic about everything and everyone. She tends to keep her distance from mostly everyone, but especially the Aphrodite kids if she can. She is a known magnet for danger and bloodshed and tends to keep a very tight circle of people around her. Mostly those of the lesser known halfblood children from the lesser gods or other 'evil' half bloods, she's always trying to pick a fight and rile up some of the other demigods and is often warned by the other half bloods to younger ones to be avoided at all cost.
HISTORY
Ylva was a still born to a very poor woman who had wanted nothing more then a child, so Thanatos decided he would grant her request but sadly, her life had to be taken in return. She died happy as Ylva was born into the world, no cries leaving her as she watched the spirit of her mother leave with Thanatos to the underworld.

Since her mother was her only family registered, she was put into the foster system, and it's where she grew up. Many kids came and went, but she and many of the older kids remained. Despite being new, something just wasn't quite right with her and no one really wanted to adopt her. Things definitely took a turn when they were allowed to go play at a nearby park. Ylva was playing on her own by the tree's edge when she heard a soft whimper coming from within the forest. Curiosity getting the better of her, she carefully made sure no one was watching before making her way into the woods, it was there she found a small wolf cub, injured and alone. She could feel it's life force disappearing with how much blood it had lost. But she couldn't just watch it die, so she did what she had too.

She managed to open the trap and free the wolf cub, however in doing so, the trap clenched around her wrists as she had opened the trap poorly and it had snapped back on her; breaking her wrists with a sickening crunch. But oddly enough... Her wrists still seemed intact... and her skin seemed to be working itself back together. Of course she had to go back and get help to get the trap off her wrists; so after freaking out and mortifying the head of the Foster House, she had gotten the trap off. She went back and got the wolf pup to show them that it was injured but had been told to get rid of it. Of course the cub had no intention of leaving the person who had saved it, so she managed to sneak it back with her after having stopped the bleeding.

That wasn't the end of the misfortunate deaths that happened, a monster had caught scent of her when she had saved the wolf cub and it tracked her back to the foster house, destroying it and killing many inside. She had only been 9 at the time, but she knew it was her fault as the invisible timers that she had seen when she had touched some of the other kids and adults within the foster home, had changed from many years, to a day.

So she did what she did best, run away. After all it was her fault, death always surrounded her. The wolf cub followed her, protecting her and living with her as they travelled; she had ended up being visited by the spirit of her mother, telling her that she was sorry for leaving her and that there was somewhere safe that she could go. Someplace that the death wouldn't follow so much, a place called... Camp Half-Blood. Begrudgingly she agreed and set out to find it with Garmr, her faithful companion.

Touch of the Misfortune - He can transfer his bad luck to someone else if he wills it or comes in contact with them. He normally can control whether he gives someone his bad luck or not. Most of the time, he doesn't but unless he's upset or annoyed he will do it.
Curse of the Unlucky - As a child of Atë, he was born with unluckiness, anyone who came in contact with him or came across him was immediately given bad luck or met an unfortunate end.

WEAPON/S: A bow and arrows, two short swords and a pocket knife. The pocket knife he nicked off a dead man's body, he got his bow and arrows when he got to camp and found the short swords embedded int the body of a dead demigod.
WEAKNESSES: He has the worst luck, so honestly his strongest power is also his greatest weakness.

PERSONALITY: Valdis is a standoff-ish sort of cold guy, seeing the world for what it is, but at the same time, he knows there is some good in it and wishes he could experience it. His negative outlook on the world and on love is from the lack of it in his life, but then again he never really believed in it anyways. So when he found the Yin to his Yang, his outlook changed a bit, not much but a bit. While he is still against the idea of love, he cares about people who make the effort to stay by his side despite the bad luck he knows he will bring and will do anything to keep them safe from his own misfortune.
HISTORY:
It was by misfortunate chance that his father met his mother, Atë. It had been a long and stormy night, and she needed a place to stay. Unfortunately the only place available was his father's club. The two of them began to talk and eventually before long Atë gave birth to Valdis. Of course, his father had no idea and therefore never came to claim him. Because he was unclaimed, he was to go to the system, but nothing ever happened that was good for him. While being transported, he had ended up accidentally being left behind by the person who was tasked with taking him to the Orphanage. He had ended up in a river and would have drowned had he not been found and rescued.

The person who rescued him had been a kind old woman, she lived off on her own in the woods and had been out doing her laundry when she found the child. She took him in and raised him until the age of 6 until the next horrible thing that happened in his life. She ended up falling ill, Valdis tried to find a cure or at least someone who could help, but no one cared or wanted to help. So the old woman who took care of him and raised him, died, leaving him alone once more. His misfortune never ended there, anyone he ever got close to, something horrendous happened and anyone he even wanted to get close to was scared away. He ended up staying in the house the old woman had been living in until it caught fire during a storm one night and burned down.

His first encounter with a monster, had been quite the experience, he only had his pocket knife at the time, and he had accidentally run into a small group of monsters. He managed to evade them, but they continued to hunt him until he turned 13.
