So, I have not roleplayed since I was maybe about ten years old. i'm very new and I kind of do not even know where to start. Any tips or suggestions?

for starters, i would say look through the recent 1x1 interest checks and group interest checks! get a feel for things that inspire you, maybe focus on roleplay for fandoms that you're in. if you try and force yourself to roleplay something you don't really know or care about, it's just not that fun. i'd suggest posting your own 1x1 interest check and list your interests, availability, writing level, and get some discussion started with other roleplayers who are interested! honestly the only way you can start roleplaying is putting yourself out there.
