Day of The Choosing Ceremony: 8am


The day of the choosing ceremony was upon them. It had been something the teenagers of Chicago had been waiting for their whole life. Today was the day they decided where they belonged. The choices that they were to make defined them. It would lay out their futures in a way their predecessors did not do. Which was why they had risen from a broken city to form one that broken into factions that emphasised your personality.


The aptitude tests they had taken the day before was to tell them where they belonged. But many of the sixteen year olds did not agree with the test and were going to chose their futures their selves. Others knew where they belonged and the test agreed. No matter what, they were to make the decision today........


Teagan sat on the edge of her bed taking long, slow breaths gazing into a mirror. The pristine walls of her room covered in inspirational quotes were speaking to her now. Trying to guide her to the right decision. The day before, the brunette was informed her destiny lay within the charming faction of Amity. That faction however held nothing of value to her educationally wise. There was that dilemma and the fact that her parents would disapprove. They would never speak to her again. But faction before blood right? The test was supposed to tell her who she was.


Dominic however was less than apprehensive. He had told his parents what his results were immediately, though that was against the rules.
