Within the Depths of a Dream
New and Improved
The day was going as normal as possible, nothing out of the ordinary. It would seem as if it would continue to be that mundane for a while yet, until men dressed in what one could only assume to be government official standard issue uniforms escorted you out to their SUV not only without little choice in the matter, but information as well. They said all would be explained once your destination was reached, and after an unknown amount of time over many different terrain types, you finally were shoved rather forcefully into a plain steel building that appeared to be in the middle of nowhere. Now gathered with a few others who were confused as you are, a woman walks in to explain that they (the government) had detected some strange readings off of you individuals. And after some digging, it was believed that you were the start of somethingcliche as fuck special, whatever that meant. A new race of mutated humans with extraordinary capabilities. No one believed her, many though it to be some ruse being pulled to get a reaction, but all of them shut up real quick as the woman crushed the steel table before them with a flick of her wrist.

Basically, meta humans are beginning to exist and the government wants to use the player characters to not only get a better idea of what they even are but see if they can be manipulated or even recreated to get the super soldiers they desire.
This is going to be a detailed roleplay that will be taking place in 2017 America for convenience. I would like two paragraphs, at least, per post and will be accepting.. Oh… members until I feel I got enough. But the big thing I want to stress is that this will not be first come, first serve, and you won’t have control over your character’s abilities. Meaning, I choose them for you if they should be accepted, you don’t. Why am I doing this? To prevent cliche and overdone/used tropes/powers. I also feel that it adds a bit of excitement, not knowing what you’re gonna get.
