Hiyami Hyuga; Hokages office
"You look very glum today Ryou"

As soon as Ryouichi acknowledged her presence, Hiyami forgot about the young boy climbing out the window and instead proceeded to let herself in his office, her cheeks a slight shade of pink as she did so.

She took a moment to acknowledge the others currently present in the room, neither of whom she'd ever seen before, although the white haired stranger reminded her of Haru.

That brought her thoughts back to the midnight conversation, and she paused to consider if the tension in the air had anything to do with that. The feeling had bothered her for most of the night, a looming sense of dread seemed to hang above the Village.

She'd stopped by the small home that her friend Haru normally lived in on the rare occassion she was in the Village for an extended amount of time, and found no sight or sound of her although today was usually the day Hatsuharu trained with herself and her father.

She found the entire situation unsettling and the air currently present in the room only furthered her suspicions; though she thought better than to say anything about it.

Instead, she turned to the white hair male and the other female present and bowed to the both of them.

"Pleased to make your acquaintance, I am Hiyama Hyuga, Heiress apparent of the Hyuga Clan"

She'd been taught to always introduce oneself in the presence of others and did so accordingly before her attentioned turned towards the beacon esque lights that flashed in the distance above the forests that gave Konoha its name

Kira moved his fingers, and the dragon took slow flight into the air as to make sure everyone was holding on. He always loved doing this, flying and being in the air made him feel at peace with himself. He wondered what he could find in the village. Maybe some of the other tailed beasts. He could only dream.

"Cute?" Ryu repeated. "I don't think that I'm cute so much as—AAAAAAAHHHHH!" And soon xe was being dragged further from the forest at 100 miles per hour, until they reached a desert. Xe took a moment to gain xir bearings (and balance) as Erīto spoke. "D-dizzy...." was all xe could say before falling over. Xe laid there for a moment or two, then, realizing how idiotic xe looked, stood up and began following him. "Right." However, five minutes into the walk, Ryu couldn't help but wonder where the heck they were going. "Uh....Erīto-kun...? Where are we going?"

Ayako Konamura

"Lord Sixth must have felt one could never be too careful I suppose. And my name is Ayako Konamura,Elite Jounin. As for my skills...well it would be best if danger never came close enough to you to even see them in the first place? No?" The blonde had a smile on her face after her statement/question. She was still listed as an A-rank Kuinochi, but that hadn't been updated in two years. Most of her missions since then had her out of any prying eyes. "Sorry Kouji, habits and such. They kind of drill protocol into your head at the academy, I don't really care that much for it either to be honest."

"Erm."

To Sunagakure?
Haruka nodded towards Suzukage as if to say, "no problem". This was before Sosuke has requested Kira to take them to Sunagakure, the first destination that would be the starting point of the organization's plan. When Sosuke had turned to her and asked the girl if she could control Shukaku, however, she was very hesitant. Shukaku was very difficult at times, and the only way for her to fully bring out the one-tails right now was to fall asleep... In which, meant that Shukaku would have control over her, instead of vice versa.

"No, I'm afraid that I cannot control him as well as you would've hoped..."

Haruka spoke, once Kira had summoned his puppet. However, depending on what Sosuke had planned for her to do, Shukaku could perform the task with ease—assuming that no one at Suna was strong enough to defeat him. Shukaku is basically made of sand though, so it'd be rather difficult.

Flight!
Kira seemed to have looked around to make sure everyone was holding onto the dragon so they wouldn't potentially fall off, in which everyone seemed to be fine, so he slowly ascended into the air and towards Sunagakure. It was pleasent to the albino to say the least, but the constant feeling of being pressured had made the flight less enjoyable and more stressful.

What if she would fail at what she needed to do?

Oi, Haru! What is it that ya' need me to do? Shukaku asked enthusiastically, liking the thought of possibly being in control for once.

I'm not sure. Sosuke asked if I could control you.. He didn't specify for what purpose. I can imagine it being pretty important. I suspect it being some sort of distraction..

Ohh! Why not destruction as well??

I never said I knew what he was planning, Shukaku.

Koujaku Hozuki; Travelling
"You have some impressive credentials, no wonder you've gotten stuck guarding him"

Koujaku laughed at this, taking a swig from his water bottle rather than either of the two sake bottles he'd also strapped to his hip, he'd never hear the end of it- Gonbara seemed to greatly enjoy calling him a drunk.

Although it would certainly seem that way if outsiders were to look at it.

They had covered good ground so far, the village having been left far behind the now trio and replaced instead with the dense forest that seperated the Hidden Mist from the rest of the Land of waves.

He gave Ayako a once over, his blue eyes flicked from her head to toe before turning to focus back on the path ahead of them.

"You seem to be quite young; how old are you?"

Ayako Konamura

Ayako couldn't help but constantly sneak glances at the two males as they traveled out from the land the water. Koujaku Hozuki. One of the few clan heads who remained in active duty instead of relegating themselves to a cushy life and ultimately letting their skills dull. For that, he automatically had her respect. There was also the fact that he was one of the Seven Swordsman of the Mist. A collegue of her sensei.

Former sensei, she quickly had to remind herself. Tobara Masaharu perished in battle, leaving Kabutowari without a wielder. Ayako turned her attention to the other wielder of one of the seven legendary swords, Gonbara Yamamato. Who was also her Kage at the relatively young age of 29. The both of them were without a doubt S-rank and prime examples of the best Kirigakure had to offer. Ayako was currently in the strange state that consisted of being deep in thought but yet keeping your senses open. Which was the only reason she even heard Kouji's statement. She didn't say anything at that, only amusement coming forth from the man's apparent love for Sake. However when he leveled the direct question, she had no choice but to respond.

"I'm seventeen years of age. I came from outside of Kirigakure as well, so I entered the academy at eleven and graduated the following year." She had been a Kuinochi for an extremely short amount of time in a veteran's eyes. But hard-work and a good learning curve got one far in this profession. "I even had one of the seven swordsmen assigned as my sensei, your own blade was one of the ones I had my eye on if I was ever granted the honor of joining that organization." The blonde lightning wielder let out a melodic laugh at her Kage's words. "Well, age is but a number in the eyes of a shinobi neh?Old enough to kill, old enough to screw around as they say." A playful wink at the Hozuki accompanied those words.

"I know," Utaki peered down at the Hyuga girl with a smirk, "But whats fun about that, huh?"

He leaped down from his position on the window ledge towards the ground. "Besides doors are overrated."

Koujaku Hozuki; Travelling

"Eh careful Gon you'll give the poor thing nightmares"

Koujaku blushed slightly, scratching his nose as he opted to avert his attention elsewhere for the moment, this time reaching for one of the sake bottles he carried.

Popping the cork out, he took a swig, pondering the current situation for a few moments before returning the bottle to its place on his hip.

"Seventeen eh? While I certainly do appreciate women unlike a certain Kage I know, you're but a child in that aspect so you need not fear me there"

He laughed loudly, Koujaku's booming laugh was quite famous within the various bars throughout the Hidden Mist; that being able to potentially cause permanent deafness while also serving as an excellent locator if one were ever looking for him.

He'd often been told that for a "demon" of the Hozuki, he laughed a lot and almost always had a wide grin etched on his face.

Upon hearing her speak of his blade, the Hiramekarei who currently thudded against his back, she'd piqued his interest.

"Oh a colleague you say? I don't have many of those. Which blade was this might I ask?

You might get your wish if I were to die on this stroll across the countryside; pending wether your swordsmanship is worthy to be known as one of the Seven. We have a reputation to uphold after all"

He grinned at the woman, a playful glint in his otherwise cool blue eyes.

"Geez laugh a little louder why don't you!?" Gon snapped at Kouji as he covered his ears."Geez your obnoxious Kouji. It's amazing that you pick up any girls at all." Gon gave Kouji a grouchy look," and I'm sorry if I don't go around spreading my seed like some alcoholic swordsmen I know." Gon groaned his eyes seemed to become murky as he began thinking. "He wielded Kabutowari, died with it in his hands and surrounded by a slew of dead enemies. Stubborn bastard." Ayako couldn't help but add a chuckle at the end of her words. "And I'd rather not get Hiramakei in such a grim way. " As they were talking the environment quickly began to change, the forestry grew more lush, signifying their entrance into Fire Country. "You both seem quite familiar with each other." The jounin commented on their banter with one another. Was rare to see a Kage have such a relationship in front of another's eyes. "Must be an interesting story behind that, neh?"

Koujaku replied simply, his nose turned upward as he looked down at Gonbara, choosing to ignore the slight, still trailing just slightly behind him as he sipped once more from his water bottle.

"Kabutowari you say.."

He paused in thought, scratching at the light stubble of hair on his chin as he pondered the familiarity of the name.

".. ah, you must be Tobara's young protege eh? And as for Hiramekarei; losing one's life in battle is part of the job description. Better than letting our Lord die here instead hm?"

At her comment about the peculiar relationship Koujaku enjoyed with his leige Gonbara, his eyes widen in surprise before he turned to look at the Kage, sighing somewhat as a smile crept on to his face.

"You could say that. We're fellow swords after all, although I'd say he'd love to strangle me sometimes but at the end of the day he enjoys my company:

He shrugged slightly, chuckling to himself as they continued to walk

Gon raised an eyebrow at Kouji," strangle? Sine when have you known me to be the type to strangle?" Gon asked in disbelief, then smiled," if anything I'd cut you into ribbons with my samehadfireOf course Gon was talking about his sword Samehada also known as shark skin. It was in his opinion one of the most powerful of the Seven swords.

As they walked through the land of fire. Gon couldn't help but noticed the rustling of leaves. In a very serious and low tone he spoke,
" I think we're being followed. Probably a few rogues, maybe just small time criminals. Nothing you two can't handle I hope?" Gon said casually and as if in que the stalkers leapt out if the trees and surrounded them. It was a surprisingly big group, maybe 20 or more enemies.

Ayako Konamura

"A history you two have together indeed..."
Ayako stated with a chuckle. Her jovial expression quickly changed however as she sensed approximately twenty people who were making a beeline for them. She was about to voice this situation but was beat to the punch by Gon. "Hai. I'll resolve the situation quickly so we don't lose any time.." In a flash of yellow, signifying the use of Shunshin, and her kekkai genkai Ayako vanished from sight. When she reappeared on a tree branch in what amounted to two seconds, she held six heads in her hand, holding them by their hair.

The cause of the death? The fact that her right hand was covered in a very dangerous lightning chakra flow that cut through their necks like a knife through butter. Before the rogues even had a chance to realize the state of their comrades, four Kunai plowed through another four of their allies' brains. Ayako then paused the massacre for three seconds. Contemplating whether she should let Kouji have the rest of them.

Eh, she needed the workout. Regardless of how minimal it was. However, it seemed that at least one of them broke out of their collective state of shock in order to jump up and try to impale her with a sword.

It slid right through her, phasing through her body as if the blonde kuinochi was not even there and she took a vindictive pleasure in seeing horror unfold on his visage. Immediately after wards, his head was too severed from the rest of his body. And in another flash of yellow, nine others suffered the same fate. Ayako casually walked back to the duo. "Situation resolved, apologies if I took too long." Twenty dead in the grand total of thirteen seconds. In her opinion, any other Elite Jounin could've accomplished the same task.

"Two of us? They couldnt even get passed the girl"

Koujaku's booming laugh echoed once more, drowning out the groaning of the dead and dying as they littered the road on which they were travelling.

Now that that situation had resolved itself with no harm to any of the three travellers, he figured the rest of the trip would be quite easy and so he began to plan for his arrival in Konoha, it had been so long since his last visit and there were a few people whomnhe needed to go visit.

He'd been watching the clouds rolls across the sky, somewhat lost is the recesses of his own mind when a small black outline in the distance caught his attention. Within seconds, the black shape had come considerably closer and Koujaku was able to discern that it was a messenger bird from the Village, his own bird no less; a white hawk whom he had affectionately dubbed Raiton.

This can't be good

He held up an arm and seconds later the great white bird had perched itself easily upon his forearm, talons dug into the sleeve of his shirt as he reached over an took the small scroll attached to the brids right foot.

It took him but a moment to read the contents of the letter; and after giving Raiton a small treat and sending him on his way- Koujaku turned to look at Gonbara, sighing as the smile that almost permanently graced his face disappeared, suddenly quite serious.

"Lord Seventh, a message from the Village. If we could stop for just a moment"

They walked for a while longer when Gon noticed a messager bird from the Hidden mist. Upon hearing Kouji refer to Gon as Lord seventh, he stopped and turned towards him."What is it? Has something happened? God that old man can't take care of the village on his own." Gon finished bitterly as he nodded, at Kouji question." Yeah let's take a break, I'm getting hungry anyways." Currently at hidden sand Village Gate

It wasnt long before they made it to the hidden sand, thanks to Kiras puppet. Sosuke leapt off before they even landed. Upon impact with the sand underfoot went flying. Sosuke looked down to make sure there were no Shinobi paying them much attention. Luckily the coast was clear, and Sosuke waved the others down.

It was odd you'd think a giant flying puppet would be noticed by the shinobi of the sand, but apparently it was a commen occurrence, or maybe they were so use to peace they didn't think much of it. Regardless Sosuke was pleased," alright Nokemono, keep a low profile. Once Erito arrives with Ryu we'll put the plan into action." Sosuke said his voice show slightly signs of delight it was slightly higher in pitch than normal.

Tremki Kaguya "The Angel Of Bones"; Konohagakure's Kage Mansion

It seemed that after adressing the issue, he was still recieved half the pay but no more work was offered. The hokage had then started bringing up other matters which seemed to be directed towards Rin, the kage of Haganegakure, although it wasn't as large as the major village but out of the numerous minor village's that Tremki has come across Haganegakure was by far the most impressive of all of them - as most of the other's were now plunged in a never ending cycle of chaos and misery that even made Tremki feel unsatisfied with his target's; Which isn't a light thing for someone like Tremki who often takes pleasure in any fight that shows at least some potentiel. However Haganegakure was well structured and kept their alliances with the major village's mostly intact; a wise move on their part.

"I guess half is better than nothing..As for there being another person with them..I did encounter someone who interfered mine and Suzukage's battle, He drew away my attention for a while which is why I was forced to use my shadow clones as Haru came by our position. He was rather strange, nothing too out of the unusual but it's likely he could have some part in it as well? All I know is that he was helping Suzukage and left just after he did, if it's to your benefit I wouldn't mind looking into this myself..I don't like to leave encounter's 'unfinished', I'm a perfectionist afterall." he said with a polite smile as he calmly closed his eyes for a moment.

It was at the moment he opened his eyes Tremki noticed a rather loud thudder in the sky, when taking a look from the window while moving his head around the Hokage to get a view. What looked somewhat like fireworks exploded in the air with tremendous size and gravity. Tremki had little clue as to what it could mean or if it was worth checking out. However he felt a sudden need to point the other Kage towards the direction of the explosions in the forest outskirts of Konoha. "Excuse me, Lord Kage's but I believe you should take a look out the window." he said gesturing towards the explosions in the sky with a rather lousy point towards the window.

How to best navigate this conversation?

Koujaku only ever referred to Gonbara as Lord Seventh when he knew the situation called for it. He now found himself looking down at him and sighing as he sat down near him.

Taking the bottle from his hip, Koujaku slid the cork out and raised the sake bottle to his lips, his eyes focused once more on the clouds floating above.

"Now an attack on the village would have been much easier"

He chuckled slightly, although neither the small attempt at humour or the sake seemed to be helping lift his spirits.

The woman, Ayako, said she was somewhat new to the village, not having been born there herself and he found himself wondering how much she knew of their Lord Mizukage.

After a few minutes of pondering, he took another, albeit larger swig of his sake bottle, wiping the corner of his mouth on his sleeve afterwards; his gaze now settled back on Gon as he sighed deeply.

Better just spit it out, he figured, only way to work out which way this is going.

"Lord Seventh, a messenger Hawk arrived in the Village shortly after our departure; Carrying a Message from the Lord Hokage"

A glint of sadness could be seen in his eyes as he drank once more from the bottle, the tone in which he spoke dropping and resuming his earlier familiarity with the Kage.

"Sorry to be the one to tell you this Gon but, Hatsuharu Kaguya has been taken from the outskirts of the Hidden Leaf"

Gonbara sat there for a second, not moving. The words seemed to echo from far away as Kouji spoke them."Taken? From the hidden leaf? But surely this was a joke, he couldn't be serious, but he must be. As much as Kouji messes with me, he wouldn't mess with me about this." Gon sat up slowly sluggishly and pressed his fist against the tree."This info comes from the hidden leaf I take it? We're sure this isn't some kind of mistake or trick?" Gon asked knowing the answer. After receiving his answer steam seemed to erupt from Gonbara. The steam seemed to scorch the tree next to him, and would do the same to anyone who came near him.

Ayako Konamura

"...What?" Ayako asked, her voice definitely having an edge to it. Hatsuhara was many things to Kirigakure. Their diplomat first and foremost, but arguably more importantly one of their only chances at reviiving the Kaguya clan. The Mist placed their utmost trust in the Leaf regarding her protection as such. "How is this possible?! Did she just disappear off the map? What about their patrols? are you telling me that someone snatched away a highly capable Jounin without alerting a village full of shinobi right outside their doorstep?" It was outrageous, and almost insulting even.

The Hydrification technique unique to the Hozuki clan always came as a welcome relief in situations where you were dealing with one of the shadows of the Great Nations, the steam produced by Gonbara was hot enough to melt the skin from your bones if he was angry enough although this hardly effected the liquified Koujaku.

Though he might not look very durable and act even less so, there was a reason as to why Gon was chosen to wear the title of Seventh Mizukage- he could potentially change the landscape of this place dramatically if the situation werent handled effectively. Koujaku couldnt imagine the Daimyou of the Land of Fire being to impressed.

"If we continue on towards Konoha, we can go directly to the Hokage to get clarification on this matter. As for the circumstances.of her disappearance, it seems as though the leaf has limited intel"

"If we continue on towards Konoha, we can go directly to the Hokage to get clarification on this matter. As for the circumstances.of her disappearance, it seems as though the leaf has limited intel"

Gon began taking in deep breaths, as he did the steam around him seemed to disappear. Gons eyes for a second seemed more dead than anything, and as he spoke his words seemed Hollow and empty, as if he were trying to reassure himself"...yeah...lets go see Ryou. He can clear things up.....yeah that'll be good, and I can work things out with him." Gonbara began walking again almost mechanically, or more like a zombie. But he seemed sure of where he was going. As he continued walking slightly ahead of the others two more rogues leapt at him from the trees. Apparently they had been hiding themselves waiting for a moment to strike incase their friends failed."Die!" Roared on of the rogues as they leapt at him from both sides kunai drawn. In a deep growl of a voice like a infernos roar Gon spoke," steam release, devour," with these words steam seemed to erupt from his body in the form of a serpent like being. It quickly shot at both rogues, who screamed in pain. The steam disappeared, and the rogues bodies hit the ground with a thud kunai still gripped in hand. There bodies had been liquified all except their bones, and some flesh. Gon turned towards Kouji and Ayako and smiled," alright now shall we be on our way?" Gon said with a almost cheerful demeanor.
