Kiromeru Gaiden is a nine-year arc of Naruto: Seiry?den with a shared a continuity. The present timeline centers around the Lands and Villages slowly returning to war and the build-up to such, but the Gaiden takes place during an era of cooperation for a common goal. After the defeat of what was effectively a world government and a dictator attempting to eliminate the entire Shinobi way, new Daimy? from remnants of the former lines have been chosen to represent their Lands and the Hidden Villages are being restored with new Kage. The threat of the return of this dictator looms over the world as each member of his former police force has the potential to resurrect him, thus thousands of empowered individuals are to be hunted down and eliminated. Not only that, the reality that the Purge - the time period that all of these events occur in - only lasts for nine years looms over the roleplayers as their characters will face the potential of character death and a limited time-frame. Why deal with such aspects? Because his arc has almost no limitations on rank and allows the cooperation of shinobi from multiple villages as well as allows every player involved to help sculpt the present continuity.
