I know what you're talking about as I have seen City of Bones when it came out in 2013. Yet, I have indeed forgot the basics of their world. All I remember is something about Shadowhunters. I would give it a try, but I fear that I'm not that familiar with the world or the basic concept of the series.

Well that shouldn't be a problem, your character can be in the similar position like Clary was, just not the exact same.

I am working on The 100, but I'm only three episodes in at this very moment. Other tv shows that I have been into was Gotham, Pretty Little Liars, Once Upon a Time, and Supernatural. But I haven't finished any of them completely because a majority of my time is spent on writing, watching youtube, working, or watching anime.
