1985: A variety of cities around the world are destroyed by strange weapons never before seen by humanity. The few survivors of the blasts begin to develop mutations as a result, giving them powers and transforming them from ordinary humans into powerful mutants. Total war breaks out between the super powers of the world (China, Russia and the USA) each blaming the others for the destruction of the cities. A large portion of humanity is wiped out due to the war.
2000: After 15 years of war China, Russia and America finally agree to end the conflict between each other and unite to defend against a new type of enemy "Mutagen". Now under the new name of the United Government Alliance they begin creating powerful weaponry to fight against mutants, they even begin capturing some of them and testing on them. During the 15 year war a group of mutants have formed a small organisation in the United Kingdom which, due to the war between Russia, China and America, has been almost wiped of all signs of human life. They are seen as threat to China, Russia and America and are at risk of being attacked any time.
2020: Mutagen is now a large community of mutants who have been shunned and ostracised from society. Lead by a woman only known as "Seraph", Mutagen has become a haven for mutants to live in peace away from the hatred of humanity. They are taught to use their powers responsibly and they are also taught to defend themselves just in case. <strong>Events of the previous Mutagen RP</strong>: A bunch of new mutants show up to Mutagen and are registered into their new home. One Mutant by the name of Aura helps deliver a shipment containing a new weapon by the humans back to Mutagen. The weapon is a suit of armour that allows the humans to gain a copy of a mutant if they touch them. Little does anyone know that the shipment also contains a very deadly enemy only known as Wrath, who blows up part of Mutagen in an attempt to kill Seraph and he also seriously hurts Clavis, the man who managed to acquire the combat armour and bring it over to the UK. Wrath admits he mind controlled Clavis so he could sneak into Mutagen without anyone realising before attacking Seraph, cutting off her arm and tackling her out of a window. She survives due to her super strength and grows a new arm thanks to her regeneration. In retaliation to Wrath's attack Seraph takes the fight to her enemies and attacks one of their science bases within the UK and confronts Wrath, who once again manages to overpower Seraph and brings the base down around her, using the chaos to escape. Aura manages to save Seraph and they have a little moment back at her office. Wrath, now having acquired teleportation from a mutant appears in her office and kills (Clavis who is one of Seraph's closest friends) in a brutal manner before taunting her and leaving. Aura offers to kill Wrath for Seraph who reluctantly agrees to let him go. Aura attacks Wrath and almost succeeds in killing him but at the last second Wrath asks Aura to grant him his dying wish, Aura lets his honour get in the way of killing Wrath and falls into his trap. Wrath has traded out his teleportation for mind control once again and uses it to make Aura attack Seraph. Aura attacks Seraph, shooting her a few times before she manages to subdue him and lock him away. Wrath returns to Russia to pick up a new weapon. Aura manages to convince Seraph he was mind controlled. Seraph sends another mutant by the name of Ghost to destroy an enemy airport using a suitcase nuclear bomb. Ghost manages to plant the bomb but is attacked by an unknown masked woman who's name is not yet known and is taken to a secret prison. Wrath finds out the new weapon is a mutant called Emily and it is his job to train her to be a mutant killer like him, after torturing her he manages to convince her to work with him and she is now being trained. Ghost still hasn't returned to base and Seraph is determined to find him and kill those responsible for his disappearance.
6 months after the events of the previous RP: Seraph hasn't given up on Ghost, she sends out scout parties and uses satellite imaging to search the country for the prison's location. Wrath has now trained Emily to be a quick and efficient killer just like him. Seraph and Aura have patched up their relationship and all the other mutants have been under constant physical training to prepare them for any kind of attack, classes are also held now to teach them about the history of mutants as well as different classifications of mutants. They are also taught normal subjects from time to time. Mutagen feels a little more relaxed now, with no sign of Wrath in 6 months Seraph feels more relaxed and things around the base are a lot less strict for now.
