As the sun set on another day in Moga village, Alira sat on the edge of the wooden platform looking out at the ocean with the sun kissing the horizon. The sky was pink with flickers of fire red and the water was calm with a gentle sea breeze brushing through her flowing through her. Her legs dangled on the edge far from the water under them. Next to her, a half empty wood jug of mead with a stained foam on the edges. She sighed. "One day i will be back out there." She rubbed her scared eye as a reminder that she must get revenge from that dreaded rathian.

As night started to fall the village elder called for a meeting with the hunters part of the guild. She got up grabbing her now empty mead and walked over with the wood creaking under her feet. And stood in the distance behind the crowd, she wouldn't be picked for the next hunt. She looked around as the torches beamed in place and hunters gathered. Something big was up the elder doesnt call for big meetings like this unless something was happening.

The future leader or as Alira liked to think of him as annoying little kid.. Came around with a wooden jug on his back nearly as big as him filling everyones mead jugs. Alira put hers down to his level so he could fill it. "Hey Alira! The elder is about to announce some big news! BIG NEWS!" He exclaimed way too loud for Alira to want to talk.
"Really?" She said monotoned not very infused on the idea that this kid would know anything more then how to tie his tunic he doesnt wear.
"Uh hu! You just wait and see miss hes going to blow your mind!" He exclaimed again as he filled her jug and ran to the next person to say exactly the same thing to them.

The elder sat on the stump with as his wrinkles became more noticeable in the flicker of the torch next to him. "The lagiacrus is back and much bigger than before." Whispers gathered and people erupted into chatter then yelling. He turned to the guild adviser, Gregar "Send word to the other hunters! They must know!"

Alira shocked but not phased. A lagiacrus couldn't get to the village. It's way to shallow here. She leaned back on a wooden poll and took a gulp of her mead.
