All according to my Scenario
Anyone here interested in Microscope? Look it up, the PDF is free on The Trove. Looks interesting.

can you tell us anything about it without us having to check the PDF? What's it about? What's appealing to you?

Basically, 2-5 people take a sentence (like ‘Atlantis was real’) and decide on a beginning and end, (Poseidon creates Atlantis, and then destroys it). You’ll decide on what’s generally allowed and not allowed (no aliens, for instance).

Then you all take turns filling in the history. You can’t ask for help on your turn with ideas, and you can’t suggest ideas to each other. It encourages you to make your own ideas.

There’s no date system, so you can add events between two others so long as you don’t contradict something already established. Those are the basics.

So like a round robin story? Where person A writes a paragraph, person B expands on the paragraph, person C expands further etc.

Ex.

Person A.
Ollie huffs out a breathe as he makes his way up the hill. His mom said he had to bring the animals in from the woods and lock them up for the night. He hated the trek but knew better to argue.

Person B.
In the distance Ollie hears a rustling of leaves. He pauses and calls out into the dark. Just as he’s pulling out his shepherds hook his friend Cat leaps out with a laugh. Ollie scowled and gives his friend a rude gesture.

Person C
The Demoness snorted at his gesture and fell into step with the shepherd. She began to chatter away about the new spells she had been working on and the elaborate plots she was currently working on with pious humans. Apparently there was gonna a big to do in the local church thanks to a fallen priest that Cat was particularly proud of.

Kind of. I’m not good at explaining things. The first ten or so pages of the rule book have most of it.

In my opinion, you should first work on summarizing the idea. Most people aren’t going to want to hunt down a pdf and for the few that do, reading 10 pages to grasp a concept will likely be a turn off.

Though I will say, just from your brief description it sounds more like a forum game than a roleplay idea.
