Medical Officer/Scientific Observer

Ritsu 1.jpg
Name: Dr. Marrion Cross
Codename: Medic
Age: 41
Species: Human
Powers: N/A
Strengths:
Expert Medical Knowledge: Practicing as both a field medic and hospital doctor for many years has honed her medical skills to a razor's edge. Barring imminently mortal wounds, there is very little she can't treat. Additionally, she is the head of the scientific community when it comes to studying metahuman biology.
Level-Headed: The picture of grace under fire, a stoic, rational mind that keeps the objective in mind and rarely lets emotion cloud her judgment.
Egalitarian Scientist: Having a comprehensive understanding of the world from an empirical basis, Dr. Cross is largely immune to discriminatory biases, trusting instead in hard facts and information, rather than feelings, rumors, or fears.
Weaknesses:
No Rank: Effectively relegated to the role of a consultant, Dr. Cross has no sway over military matters beyond a stern recommendation. As higher-ranked officers are quick to remind her whenever she speaks out for alterations to the program.
Unfinished Research: Though she is the leading expert in the field, metahuman biology is still largely understood, and therefore she stands to be surprised by new developments and observations, which can often contradict what she knows about Science and Biology.
Personality:
To the casual observer or uninitiated coworker, Dr. Cross might seem like a caricature of a scientist, calm, calculating, relying upon only proven facts and empirical data to converse or make opinions. She is quick and razor sharp when cutting down inappropriate comments or unnecessary chit-chat. To every recipient of this treatment, she seems like a frigid spinster, who loves nothing more than to cut down well-meaning and friendly people. To all those who know her better, with much-concealed laughter, they recognize her behavior as a carefully constructed facade. Once she actually accepts that someone is worth her time, she opens up quite a bit. Behind the mask is a sweet, philosophical personality that loves to teach and cares deeply for others. In casual conversation, she is kind, mostly moral, and loves trading stories of everyday life.
Biography:
Dr. Marrion Cross was born in Northern Virginia to a fairly well off family. Throughout her childhood, she was a prolific reader and was always learning new things which she would then question her parents about. To most, it was not surprising that she chose to study medicine and biology. Her life did take a detour, though, when she published one of her early works on metahumans, namely a study on where the irregularity in metahuman genes started in the strands of DNA. This research caught the eye of many organizations, and before she knew it, she was contracted by the government to aid in the development of new biotechnology which could help "deal with" metahumans. Most notably, in 2005 she provided research which proved the ineffectiveness of a proposed pathogen designed to eliminate metahumans. This pathogen was being touted as the best way to deal with groups of rogue metahumans. By proving that the disease did not work, and was dangerous to regular humans, the good Doctor also involved herself in the mission to defeat the metahuman terrorists it was to be used on. It was during this mission where she met Special Forces Officer David Vic, as she served as one of his support elements during his infiltration of the enemy base. Additionally, she treated Vic after the mission was over. Though their professional relationship largely ended there, they appear to have loosely stayed in touch. Dr. Cross did stay on working for the military, and she now serves as the chief of medical staff to the FOXHOUND unit.

Name: Avery Maxon
Codename: Jupiter
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Powers: The control of Ancient powered armor

Weaponry: An ancient assault rifle (Comes with Powered Armor)
1537971925105.png
Strengths (In armor):
+Enhanced Strength (Up to 4 times the average)
+Completely immune to small arms fire Unless it is a .50 BMG.
+Enhanced Speed and Agility (Can run at 40 miles per hour and jump 10 meters with a running start)

Weaknesses (In armor):
-Armor is extremely vulnerable to melee attacks (can be deactivated with a couple punches)
-Armor doesn't protect against grenades and explosions.
-Armor is irreplaceable.

Personality: Avery Maxon is less of a teenager and more of an 'empty husk' if you will. He rarely speaks about himself and NEVER about the past. All he wants to do is forget, forget, and forget some more. However even he knows that he can't. "It has been set in stone" as his father once told him before death. Maxon isn't the happy go lucky kid from his childhood. He is now a cold, unforgiving, seemingly emotionless 'manifestation' of his once gladly discussed past. The only thing that even sparks any sort of emotion is the act of killing. He uses this as a chance to take out his anger that he builds up over time. Nothing seems to calm him down except for the satisfaction of putting a bullet in an enemy's head. (Believe me when I say that he tried everything else).

Background: Maxon acquired the set of armor from the most unlikely of places... A SHOE STORE. He was looking for a pair of new shoes when by chance he stumbled across a strange and extremely dusty shoe box. It had his name on it. Taking it home he immediately unpacked the box to find two shoe-like objects that appeared extremely advanced but also incredibly ancient at the same time. It was when he put on the armor seconds before his home was attacked that he realized that these weren't any ordinary shoes. In seconds he had been covered in a suit of gleaming gold and silver armor. Then a HUD appeared in front of him and he was able to see as clear as day. When the intruders entered his room they were blasted back by a punch from Maxon's Fist. He hadn't realized that the suit was powered. From that day forward he tried to keep it a secret... until now.
