That “teach yourself” one because your teacher is useless has been the epitome of my educational life up until college (for the most part). I had one teacher from 4-8th grade that was an English teacher, but turned into a science one.

She knew nothing about science. She had no idea what she was talking about. She just read snippets out of the textbook.

When you asked her a question, she did one of two things. She either

A.) Read a part of a paragraph relevant to the question that did not answer or address the question

Or

B.) Asked the smart kids in my class to answer the question.
