Select your Major Domo and get settled, freshened up or whatever

All couples have been picked up and driven to the airport, in such a manner they all arrive more or less around the same time on Hewanorra International Airport in Vieux Fort, St. Lucia. At the airport, drivers and jeeps are waiting to take the couples to their honeymoon destination. The drive is about an hour long and the last 20 minutes or so is on rather bumpy roads. There are no cameras at the airport, nor is the travel towards the resort being filmed. Though as soon as the couples will get out of the Jeeps, there is a camera crew present.

“Hello everyone, and welcome to Jade Mountain Restort! We are honored to have you all stay with us and share this special precious time with us. I am Marlies Piltie, executive housekeeper, and together with the rest of the staff, I hope we can make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.” The woman started her welcome speech after getting a sign that all sixteen people had arrived. She gave them all a bright smile, completely ignoring the camera crew that ran around to try to get the best shots from each angle. Some of the people seeming happier about that than others. “These eight lovely people will be your personal Major Domo for your entire stay. They will make sure all your wishes are met, questions are answered and complaints are heard,” she continued as she gestured to the four charming ladies on her left and the four handsome males on her right. “Our finest suites are made available and prepared for your stay. The four Galaxy suites are located on the fifth level and the four Sun suites are located right below that, promising you a fantastic view of the island and the ocean. Please select your butler and they will bring you to your room.” The eight Major Domos stepped forward, all eager and enthusiastic to be selected and show the rest of the hotel to their couple, if wanted. The woman that had welcomed them moved down behind the counter again and looked down at the paper for a second. “For today we have a rather easy-going program, so all of you can take your time to get settled and get used to the new environment. We will be serving you a lovely getting to know each other dinner in the Jade Mountain Club at 18:30, followed by some cocktails at the Celestial Terrace for those who feel like it,” she informed them, “the rest of the program will be announced tomorrow morning at breakfast, which will be around 8:30. Though you are of course free to come down earlier, or enjoy our facilities before that time. But for now, just take a moment to take it all in. We will see you at 18:30 in the Jade Mountain Club. Have a nice stay!” And with those words the couples were send on their way. Either to take a moment for a power nap, or to enjoy the nature around and explore the resort.

"I wish you had never given me this heart!"

Those words, that angry voice of his mother, it had kept playing over and over in his head. It were the last words she had spoken to his face, when he had gone to the hotel this morning. After that, she had told him what a dissapointment he was through the closed door. Yet, somehow, those words didn't stung as much as that one sentence before. Perhaps coming out by marrying a man had not been the best idea. And he understood it was a bit of a shock... But she would have to accept that a future with Isabella was not gonna happen. Not with her as his wife, at least. Dante let out a heavy sigh, before giving his husband an apologetic look. This was supposed to be one of the best moments of their lives. They were on their way to their honeymoon! He smiled as he reached for the hand of the Fin and gave it a soft squeeze. He knew Leo was worried about his mother's behaviour. And Rosaria, his sister, was probably right that his mom just needed some time to get adjusted to the idea of her son being into males. However, that didn't make it hurt any less.

"Are you excited?" the Italian man asked, while that million dollar smile came back to his face. He looked at his husband, watching that long hair. It had been one of the first things he had noticed, along with those kind eyes and that gentle smile. He had been lucky. Leo was such a nice and patient man. At least, for as far as he could judge. They had only known each other for 36 hours now? His free hand moved to gently push one strand that had fallen free back into place. Using the moment to give his husband a soft kiss on the cheek. "I know, I am," he said with a grin. His eyes traveled to the window of the Jeep and the landscape they were passing by. So different from the Finnish nature, and definitely nothing like Naples. There was no seabreeze and salty air here as they were surrounded by tropical forest.

Until it suddenly broke open and showed the mountain side and the resort they would stay at. If the nature had not already been breath taking, this sure was. The jeep came to a stop and the door was opened. "After you, mio caro," Dante spoke softly. Outside the car, the camera crew immediately surrounded them to make sure they would not miss a second of their reactions to the place. The Italian took a moment to take it all in. The sound of insects, the songs of birds, and in the distance the rolling of waves. The cameras hardly bothered him, it just reminded him of the set. The only thing that was unusual for him was the lack of direction, no one calling action, or cut, or retake. The fact he had no screenplay, no lines, no character. That made it weird for him. His hand stroke softly over his husbands back as he lead him towards the entrance of the hotel, where more cameras were waiting along with the resorts staff it seemed.

They had been the first to arrive, but the sound of Jeeps behind him, told him the others were close behind them. He was excited about meeting the new people. The other couples that had chosen this adventure as well. Other males that could have ended up as his husband, but he really had been lucky with Leo. He smiled down towards his husband and leaned in for yet another kiss. Soft and gentle on the lips this time. He always had been a very affectionated male and he liked to show his love with little gestures like this. "If it is too much, you can hide behind me," he joked gently. It had been rather obvious from the start that Leo didn't do too well with the camera attention. "This place really is amazing," he said as he looked around again. It was even more impressive in real. The little booklet, that had been send along with the information on the show and of course the congratulations that they had been chosen, hardly did the place justice.

JJ had been annoyed since meeting his new husband. The man seemed weak willed, effeminate and clearly unathletic. The kind of man who certainly wouldn't pass muster in the British Army. JJ was married to a man who was essentially a wash out. When John had told him he was an artist, a sculptor, JJ had lost all respect for the man. This marriage hadn't even been his idea. It had been his handler's. He had found out how much JJ wanted to go to space, but knew that a lifelong bachelor had very little hope of becoming an astronaut. So they entered him in this ridiculous program in the hopes of finding him a trophy spouse. It had worked, JJ supposed. At least John was a handsome man. JJ packed with military precision, drilled into him from his years of service. He paid very little attention to his husband. He had said the vows, and he would try to make it work, but he just couldn't see how.

Upon arriving at the airport, JJ was greeted by a line of cars and jeeps, each with a driver assigned to them. JJ marched up to the nearest jeep. With a heavy sigh, he waited for his partner to catch up, throwing his duffel into the back, before jerking his thumb at the driver.
"Get out. I will be driving. You just provide directions." JJ stared down the man until he moved, sliding himself into the driver's seat.
"On the wrong bloody side," he muttered, getting himself used to the position of the gear shifter and the pedals. JJ reminded himself one last time that they drove on the wrong side, before launching the jeep into motion. JJ only knew one speed, fast, so he quickly overtook the other vehicles but one. He grinned as the driver seemed to be matching him well, not letting him pass him on the bumpy roads. JJ skidded to a stop just behind the other car, quickly hopping out to shake the other driver's hand.
"Well done, Sir. You drove bloody well indeed." JJ looked over his shoulder at John, noticing the other man did not seem well off. JJ sighed again, and made a note not to let the other man drive, or they'd never get anywhere on time. Turning to the woman who seemed to be giving a welcome speech, he eyed the majordomos gathered there. All but one looked away, a stout looking lad who had a confident smile.
"I will take him," JJ said, pointing to the lad. He didn't particularly care what John wanted. This was the first vacation JJ had had in quite a long time, and he meant to have as much fun as he could, useless milksop of a husband or not.

Location Jeep > Reception Outfit Light and simple Company Dante, his husband DarkiusHeavenstein DarkiusHeavenstein

Pretty sceneries flashed in the window, but Leo couldn't focus on them. He was feeling extremely emotional. So far Dante was proven to be a good man, he couldn't have been able to imagine a better husband. Leo hadn't met the other participants of the tv program, at least not yet, but he was happy Dante was his husband out of them all. Leo was extremely happy. However there was also worry mixed in his feelings. Dante's mother had not been quite accepting about her son marrying a man. She had been very clear when telling this to Dante. Leo was sure it made him feel hurt. And that made Leo feel hurt too. He didn't want to see his husband go through something like that and he wanted to give his full support.

Leo had experienced something similar when he first came out of the closet. Even though his family and friends accepted him hundred percent, his own mother had had difficulties accepting his sexuality in the beginning. He could just imagine what his better half was going through. Dante let out a heavy sigh and gave his husband an apologetic look. Leo just shook his head as a disagreement: Dante didn't need to apologize about anything for him. Dante smiled as he reached for Leo's hand, giving it a soft squeeze. Leo responded to the squeeze by giving a reassuring smile to Dante: one of those with a message like 'Don't worry, everything will go all right'.

"Are you excited?" The husband asked, while that million dollar smile came back to his face. Leo was surprised how the italian man could smile like that while he was going through something as painful as your own parent not accepting you. Leo hoped Dante was actually happy and not just forcing himself to smile for him. "Yes I am. I really want to get to know you even better." The Fin tried to match his smile to the one of his husband. He felt Dante looking at him, and he wondered what he was thinking. Soon Leo could feel Dante's free hand in his long hair, gently pushing one strand that had fallen back in it's place. The Italian man used the moment to give Leo, whose smile got even bigger, a soft kiss on the cheek. "I know, I am", Dante said with a grin.

Leo switched his gaze from his husband to the window and it's sceneries. Everything looked different than in Finland. Instead of pine and birch trees, there was an outstandingly beautiful tropical forest. Suddenly it opened up revealing the mountain side and the resort they would stay at. The tropical nature had already been breathtaking, but if possible this was even more breathtaking. The jeep came to a stop and the door was opened. "After you, mio caro," Dante spoke softly, making Leo chuckle. They were barely outside of the car and Leo could feel all the cameras around him. The camera crew surrounded them to make sure they would get every little detail. Leo felt already bothered by them. He was afraid of embarrassing himself publicly as well as not being able to show his actual personality because of being so nervous about the cameras all the time. As if Dante could read his mind, he stroked softly over Leo's back, leading him towards the entrance of the hotel. Leo flashed a quick smile towards him, he was thankful for Dante being there for him. Soon they were accompanied by even more cameras waiting along with the resort's staff.

They had been the first to arrive, but right after them, another jeep arrived. And according to the sound of Jeeps behind them, even more would arrive soo. Leo looked into meeting the other couples. He was excited, though his excitement wasn't as big as before when he was waiting to meet his husband. Dante smiled down towards his husband and leaned in for yet another kiss, but this time other people could see them kissing. Leo was little taken back with this, he wasn't used to public displays of affection. However he couldn't complain about the kiss. It felt soft and gentle on his lips. Leo has already noticed Dante being a physical person and he had already done other gestures like the kiss. It was definitely nice, but something Leo needed to get used to. "If it is too much, you can hide behind me", Dante joked gently about the cameras. Right, the cameras. Leo had been so focused on the kiss he already had forgotten about them. "That sounds tempting. I might as well." He left out a small, amused and happy laugh. Leo looked around the place, Dante doing the same. "It sure is!" Leo answered his husband's comment about the place. It really was impressive. It looked even better live than in the little booklet, which was sended alongside the information about the show.

Leo's attention was focused to the woman giving a welcome speech. He presented eight people, that would be their personal Major Domo, whatever that meant. She explained they would make sure the couples wishes and questions would be answered. Leo's focus turned to the couple that had arrived right after them. He had been excited about meeting the other couples, but he wasn't so sure anymore. The couple that arrived after them included two men. The other man didn't seem to pay a lot of attention to his husband, almost ignoring him. He picked a Major Domo by himself, as if his partner's opinion didn't matter. The man seemed extremely rude and Leo hoped he wouldn't need to deal with him. Leo looked at Dante again with a smiling face. "So which one do you want to pick? I don't really have a preference." This was how you needed to act with your partner, include them into the discussion and ask their opinion. Leo would show the rude man how to do things properly.

Location Jeep > Reception Outfit denim shorts, band tee Company Sunny, his wife Totorokoro Totorokoro

The jeep kept moving, making the scenery of its windows change so often. However Emils didn’t look at the scenery, but at his new wife. Sunny was breathtakingly beautiful and it already felt natural being around her. They were sitting close to each other, Emils’ head resting lightly on Sunny’s shoulders. Emils had been too excited about the honeymoon to be able to sleep on the night before it. He started to feel a little tired. Sunny and he had been talking the whole trip. They were already getting to know each other. Emils had told her about his band, funny stories about gigs and his band mates. He had also told the story of his scary and intimidating pet snake Tārps aka the cool big snake who ended up being more like a worm when he got it.

Sunny on the other hand had told more about her indian roots and her hobbies. Apparently she loved cooking and horror flicks. Emils was secretly happy about her cooking hobby, since he himself was a bad cook. He would do the dishes however. And what came to the horror flicks, As a youngster he had been into them, but nowadays he was a huge scaredy cat who would always see nightmares after watching horror films. However Emils promised to Sunny they could watch one together, if she held his hands whenever something scary happened. Then they had been talking about the honeymoon and the resort. They both had been handed little booklets about the hotel, which were sended alongside the information about the show. The booklets had lots of pictures and they all looked amazing. Emils wondered what kind of suite they would get since there were two different types.

Suddenly Emils remembered something about the wedding: a fun little detail. Long story short: he had tried to steal some candy during this Latvian wedding tradition where in order to cross this gate you needed to give the gatekeepers candy as payment. Sunny had chuckled at him and later at their wedding ceremony she had secretly handed him a Ferrero Rocher. “Oh. About the Ferrero Rocher you gave me. I still haven’t eated it, and never will! I want to save it as a memento of our wedding. I really had a fun time”, Emils explained excitedly. As soon as he finished his sentence, the Jeep stopped. It was a sign they had arrived. They weren’t the first couple to arrive, there were already two other couples. As they left the car they saw this beautiful tropical forest that opened up revealing a mountain and the resort. There were cameras surrounding him and Sunny, but he didn’t mind too much about it. It was just a part of the program.

At the resort there was this woman giving a welcome speech. She presented eight people, that would be their personal Major Domo’s, that would make sure the couples wishes and questions would be answered. Neat, Emils thought. The other couples were already picking their Major Domos. “Hmm.. Who should we pick?” Emils asked while looking at his pretty wife. His hand was resting under his chin like always when he was thinking hard about something. “Oh, wait!” He half screamed in excitement, when he came up with an idea. “I think we should pick a guy, since I already have my own pretty lady. We could force him to do physical work for us like carrying our luggage and stuff like that. Who you think looks most strong out of them?” There was a humorous tone in Emils’ voice that couldn’t be missed.

This whole experience was a entirely new thing to Matilda and this were merely the tip of the iceberg. Demetrius and her may have finished with the wedding, but there were still plenty of eventful things planned in front of them that they had to go through as a couple, and Tilly could tell that D was just a new to this sort of romantic relationship just like her. It was unsurprising that the pair had been awkward to each other from the very start, and it had been amazing that they had completed the wedding without it somehow being a mess.

She chalked it up to that using up a hefty amount of her good lucky quota, and was very sure that her supply of good luck would run out without long at this rate. From the outside eye, the pair definitely didn't seem like your typical married couple, and it was quite comical at how unfamiliar and awkward the couple interacted with one another. It wasn't the fact that Tilly didn't like D or anything, the man who is now her husband is more than a decent enough fellow (She blessed her stars once more, that she got a decent fellow and not a crass and cranky older guy with an authority complex), but it was just simply her inexperiencein relationships showing.

It had been so long since she had dated anyone that she now founded herself in uncharted territory. Their interactions had baskets full of awkward with the capital "A" , but she was confident that as time passed, she would warm up to D enough and their interactions would get more fluid and natural as they get to know each other better and experienced each other more.

Their first kiss at the wedding had made her heart leap and do somersaults, something about the gentleness and nervousness about the guy melded with her very own anxiety that send jitters into her stomach and sent her blood pressure soaring. Was this normal to feel about someone that you didn't have feelings for?

Perhaps,
it had to do with the fact that this was not your typical situation, and the whole show she was a participant in. The jeep to the resort had been eye-opening. The tropical jungle was very different from the cityscape of metropolitan London, and when the gorgeous jungle finally gave way as the convoy of jeeps made their way through it, Matilda laid eyes on the majestic resort they would be staying at for the duration of their honeymoon for the very first time. The pictures in the little booklet they had been given had been wonderful, but seeing it all in person made it even better. Like the rest of the couples before them, cameras were onto them the moment they left the vehicle.

Tilly looked back in a nervous smile to check to see that D was following her, the awkwardness and unfamiliarity clearly visible in everyone's eyes as they watched them. As they stood in front of the remaining butlers, (Their host had referred to them as Major Domos. No idea why, the only Major she knew of was the military rank.) Matilda didn't want to make the decision on her own. Turning to Demetrius, she asked. "Do you see anyone you like? Anyone you think we should pick?"

Sunny's cheeks hurt. She couldn't remember the last time that she had smiled and laughed so much. She'd been very apprehensive before the wedding, and before she knew it, that apprehension melted away into an abundance of excitement. She was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to converse with Emils. She was happy that they hit it off positively. They were Husband and Wife now, after all. Of course, she was beginning to also feel extremely conscious and bashful around him. She blushed when Emils rested his head on her shoulder, and sat perfectly still so as to not disturb him ((If you've ever had a cat napping on your knee, you'll know the feeling I mean)).

He had such amazing experiences to share, and she felt much more understated in comparison. Just when worrying thoughts of how he might get bored of her set in, Emils would say something that made her laugh, and she forgot her worries. While he spoke about his band and Tārps, she spoke about her travel adventures-- about the time she was mistaken for an escort in Bangkok; or the time she'd gotten lost and found herself a charming, quaint café in Goa that overlooked the sea. She smiled mischievously when he agreed to watch a horror film with her, "I can't guarantee that I won't try to scare you midway," She smiled.

When he said he wouldn't eat the chocolate, she was beyond touched. Awww he's so adorable, she wanted to say.
Instead, Sunny gasped, feigning being offended. "You insult the Ferrero?" She whispered as if it was indeed a grave insult, before smiling at him, "Tell you what. We'll split the chocolate, and replace something inside the wrapper. That way, it we can enjoy the sweetness of both,"

Despite knowing well beforehand that her wedding came with it's costs, Sunny wasn't yet accustomed to the cameras. She did her best to ignore them, as per prior instructions. But just walking from the Jeep to the Lobby was a mammoth task. She reached out to hold Emils' hand while on their walk, but refrained; wondering if he'd be okay with it. The orientation went on smoother than the walk and she had a chance to glimpse at the other couples. Sunny couldn't help but wonder how everyone else's weddings were.

"Oh wait!"
!!!
“I think we should pick a guy, since I already have my own pretty lady. We could force him to do physical work for us like carrying our luggage and stuff like that. Who you think looks most strong out of them?” A little confused, she looked at Emils before realizing he was talking about the Major Domo.
"Oh," She blinked for a moment, wondering whether to blush at being called a pretty lady or teasingly reply I assumed you would be stronger than them.
She decided against both out of sheer inability to tease and instead blurted out, "Hmm, I would like to go with the oldest,"

"Aaah I mean... S-someone with the experience and knows the in and outs of this place would allow us to enjoy it more," She recovered, barely. "Right?" She asked as she looked at him, scrunching her nose ever so slightly.

D rode in the jeep, thinking back on what had been a long and strange few days. He had flown into London with his mother and his friend Julius, standing in as best man for the absent Dante. D recalled the venom in his father's voice when D announced he was getting married. D didn't know why he had even bothered inviting the man. He had been nothing but a cruel burden to D for his entire life. But family is family, and despite his quirks, D loved his family. It was why he had felt pressured to say he wanted a big wedding with all of his family there. In truth, D wanted something intimate, large numbers of people, even- no, especially family tended to drive his anxiety into high alert. He remembered the panic that had set in during his carriage ride to the ceremony, remembered calling Dante, telling him he couldn't go through with it. The large Italian's deep, soothing voice settled him, and D wondered how someone could go through all the pain he must have suffered, and still be so kind and inviting. D felt his own pain had only made him closed off and quiet. D remembered the spike of anxiety that ran through him as the carriage stopped. Remembered the judgmental looks in people's eyes, though whether they were real or part of his anxiety he didn't know. He found the steps to the altar were some of the most difficult of his life, but he made it. And then he saw her. From the first moment, it was as if the world faded away. The anxiety and the crowd disappeared as he saw her in that dress. His breath caught as he forced himself to look into her eyes. He saw the kindness there, and for the first time, he found himself smiling. Their kiss was gentle and sweet, despite all the awkwardness that came before.

D felt himself jolted out of his reverie as the jeep hit a large bump in the road, and he stole short glances at the woman seated next to him. He found himself softly smiling each time he caught a glance of her, and he slid his hand next to hers, though he couldn't quite work up the nerve to try and hold her hand. He maintained the silence in the car, not because he had nothing to say or ask. He just had too much he wanted to know. He wanted to know all about her, but his attempts at conversation hadn't gone well. He found himself stumbling over his words at each interaction, and he was impressed with Tilly's patience, as he knew he could be a bit trying sometimes. D didn't really believe in luck, but today he found himself feeling very lucky. Lucky to have entered, to have been chosen, and certainly lucky to be married to someone like Tilly. Still, there was a corner of his mind that was filled with anxiety and worry. Did she know who he was? Did it matter to her? D found himself circling back to these questions time and again, and not for the first time, wished he was someone else, someone normal. He exited the jeep as they arrived, smiling back at her with his best smile as she checked to make sure he was there. He found himself shielding her as best he could from the onslaught of the cameras. He might hate the spotlight, but he was used to it, and he would trade his comfort for hers if she kept smiling at him. D hadn't really been paying attention to the speech or what was going on, so her question startled him, though the sound of her voice made him smile again.
"Umm..." D forced himself to look away from her bright eyes, and focus on the Majordomos. He saw that others had already picked theirs, so D pointed to a shy looking younger man, turning to his bride.
"H-how about him?" D firmly closed his mouth, stopping the flurry of questions and compliments that were struggling to come pouring out. He would have time for that later. Now, he supposed, they had to put on a show for the cameras. Swallowing hard, D slid his hand into hers, giving it a gentle squeeze. It was the best show he could put on, at the moment.

"Ohohoho we're not ready just yet," Theodore grinned mischievously before he got into the jeep. He dropped all his luggage in the rear seat of the car and rummaged through them.
"I swear it has to be in here somewhere... Aha!" He grinned like a troublemaker and pulled out what looked like empty beer cans tied to strings. "Wait here, m'lady," He smirked at Viktoria before hurriedly rushing to the back of the vehicle and tying them near the rear bumper. He dusted his hand, proud of his handy-work and marched back to the driver's side of the car. "I'll drive," He said, gently shooing away the driver and hopping in. The jeep purred as he started the engine. Ted leaned over and opened the passenger's side of the door, giving Viky a raised eyebrow.

"Hmm, did we decide on me being the courteous husband or the douche-baggery schmuk who married someone completely out of his league?" He cocked his head before holding her hand and mockingly pulling her into the car. "Well whatever it is we choose, you have my word that I will not leave your sight until the last lights are off and the director says cut," He joked, making a clapboard motion with his hands. Once they were both seated, they began their drive to the Jade Mountain Resort... The noise from the beer cans would have annoyed anyone on the road; but Ted let Viky play her choice of songs, so the two of them were considerably oblivious. Of course, they made pit stops on the way for an occasional snack, but they got to the resort on time. Theodore introduced himself over the ride, just the basics and in answer to any question Viky may have. He suggested a round of 'I-spies', and other road trip games. As childish as all his efforts may have seemed; Theodore was no child. Silly ice-breakers helped ease tension and provided good distraction. While he would openly justify it being for him, he knew that ice breakers might have been equally important for the newly married woman by his side.

Maybe it was the nerves, or the excitement of creating ruckus on a show-- Theodore couldn't believe the fact that a ring rested on the fourth finger of his left hand. He turned to look at Viky a couple of times, every time almost about to say something. Then he'd just shake his head and divert his attention back to the road. No amount of pick-up lines seemed good enough right after 'I Do.'
This is why you use all your good pick-up lines BEFORE you're married.

***

Once they'd reached the resort, Ted escorted her to the lobby, all gentleman like. "Now now, before you get all judgmental on me, I happen to be a good boy off camera as well," He tutted. His eyes scanned the vicinity as he observed his prey. "I'll bet you $10 that no couple will fight tonight," He whispered to Viky, while the orientation was on. It was then announced that they could choose their Major Domo.
"Rock, paper, scissors, gets to pick," He said in a serious tone, getting ready to Duel for their Domo.

For the past 24 hours Felix felt as if he had been living in an incredibly vivid dream. The thought was incredibly cliche, used in countless online fictions and in many novels through out the years. But it really was the only way to describe his current situation. Felix looked over at Sasha, his wife. It was going to take some time getting used to the word. The urge to repeat "wife" out loud in an attempt to make it feel less alien on his tongue was strong, but he swallowed the urge. He didn't want to make himself look like an utter fool in front of the woman.

Aleksandra was gorgeous. Upon seeing her walking down the isle, in a gown pulled from a fairy tale, Felix's heart had literally skipped a beat. He didn't know that was possible. He thought the writing community had simply made it up in an attempt to set the mood for a scene. To have it actually happen, took him by surprise. When they sealed the ceremony with a kiss, Felix could only hope that Aleksandra (who preferred to go by Sasha), couldn't tell how nervous he had been. At the reception, when they finally got a chance to get to know one another, Felix was surprised yet again to learn that his wife was a professional model and actress. It was hard to believe that a nobody like him could be married to somebody so beautiful and talented. Sasha was absolutely out of his league. Hopefully his bride could see past that, and the two could have a comfortable relationship.

From his pocket Felix produced a small notebook that he kept on him at all times. Scribbled on the pages were story ideas, experimental poetry lines, and reminders for things that he had ended up forgetting he had reminders for. Flipping open to a fresh page, Felix took a pen and wrote "Sasha" at the top. Doing his best to write with the bumpy roads, Felix began jotting down things he knew about Sasha. When he had exhausted his current knowledge he turned to Sasha and asked her "So, what's your favorite color?" He smiled and scribbled down her answer.

When the Jeep finally stopped Felix unbuckled and quickly exited the vehicle, rushing over to the opposite side to open the door for Sasha. Holding out a hand he helped his wife (would he ever get used to the word?) out of the car. Once she had gotten her footing, Felix turned and was stunned at the amount of cameras that surrounded the resort entrance. Felix had spent years of his life hiding behind the scenes. To suddenly be in the limelight brought back the nerves he thought he had shaken on the ride here.

"So have you ever been to the Caribbean before?" Felix asked Sasha. "It's my first time. A lot hotter than it looks in the pictures." A woman, whom Felix assumed was the host, began to address them. Felix listened intently, ensuring that he didn't miss any important information. "Major Domo, that's a mouthful." Felix mused. They were asked to choose one, and Felix noted that other couples were snatching up the male assistants. "Do you have a gender preference? For the Domo's I mean!" Felix blushed. "Uh, the men are going quickly. If you would prefer one of them we should get them now."

“I feel like I’m getting married off to someone of your choosing, by the way you’re fuzzing over me,” John huffed and Mary responded by laughing, giving him a soft slap to the gut before returning to the task of buttoning his shirt, finishing the job off by setting his tie so hard John felt like he was going to choke.

“Well, considering how I was the one who signed you up for it, that ain’t too far from the truth now is it?” The brunette woman took a step back, hummed appreciatively, and spun the man around so that they both faced the mirror - Mary’s slender arms wrapping around his form from behind. “You look gorgeous, John. It’s almost making me actually want to marry you.”

“Had your shot and you blew it, lady.”

“Yeah, yeah…
John, don’t worry. You’re a wonderful man, and whoever is going to be standing at that podium today will be
so
happy to have you.”

Mary had never been more wrong. John’s partner had been one Group Captain James J. Phillips - though the man had clarified that he went by “JJ” at the first given opportunity - and the man seemed utterly disappointed by being paired with John.
Not that John was ecstatic. Both Mary and her wife Akachi had shot him eager “thumbs-up” from their chairs (on his painfully empty side of the aisle, seeing as it had been just them and a few friends sitting there), but John himself felt as if there was a rock in his stomach. He’d slaved over his vows for weeks, drawing influence from Aristotle, Shakespeare, and Wilde when penning the half-page speech - but after JJ had said his with an almost nonchalant inflection, the words had come out of John’s mouth stifled and awkward. Honestly, it was embarrassing.

JJ walked like a soldier; even if he hadn’t mentioned it during their short introductions, John was pretty sure he’d have figured it out anyway. The man carried a duffel bag, for gods’ sake (and wore a dress uniform for the ceremony…). His steps were rhythmic, long, and powerful. The sculptor felt as if the emotional distance between them grew with every strong step JJ took from him. At least the Army man waited for him by the car, giving John time to place his large briefcases neatly next to JJ’s bag.
The sight of his and JJ’s luggage next to each other made a smile twist his mouth. It was an odd pairing, one that shouldn’t have been made, but maybe it could work if… “Get out. I will be driving. You just provide direction.” John stopped smiling. Wanker.

JJ drove like a maniac, and by the time the three of them arrived John was at least five shades paler than usual, him clutching the door like it was the only thing keeping him from flying out the car. His first appearance in front of the cameras was as a shaky, stumbling mess.
At least other people seemed happy. John enviously eyed two men who even kissed each other, molding together like they were made that way. He looked to his own… husband, who was busy having a staring contest with the staff. Seems like the staff lost, and JJ declared that he’d take one (as if it was an honor to serve him. Tosser.)
I’m John,” John greeted the sturdy man who’d (without them asking) shouldered their bags and started guiding the couple, “Pleasure to meet you.

  • Emiko couldn't contain all the excitement and the butterflies within her small self. The past twenty-four hours had been a roller coaster of emotion for her. Frist she had gotten flown from Japan to South Korea with her family and coworkers. They were all excited about the wedding and the husband that Emiko was going to have. When she finally walked down the aisle, Emiko was at first surprised. Having done cross-play before, she could instant recognize that her spouse was a woman. And honestly, she was okay with that and her partner seemed relieved to see her. Their wedding had been quite different than what she'd expected, but at the same time the Japanese woman wouldn't have traded it for the world. The kiss they shared actually made it hard for Emiko to stand and she'd held on to Jae-in for a bit before finally walking back down. It had been her first ever kiss and it felt.....magical.

The party afterwards was actually rather chaotic for the shy girl. Between her in-laws and the rest of her new family asking her a barrage of questions and seeing Hina, her sister, try and learn every dirty detail she could find out about Jae-in, the newlyweds hadn't actually spent a great deal of time together. And maybe it had been for the better, because at one point in the after party, Emiko had to face her mom and dad. Between Emiko and her sister, Emiko was expected to be the one to have grandkids. And now? The potential for that was gone and Emiko's parents weren't happy. Not to say they weren't happy for her for getting married, but they pretty much told Emiko that until they could come to terms with the situation, Emiko wouldn't hear from them save for special occasions like her birthday. That had pretty much brought a great low to Emiko for that night and had left the woman a bit distracted.

That is until she and Jae finally got to be alone. The moment they were together, Emiko couldn't hide her smile as she embraced her spouse. She was warm, tall, and so easy on the eyes. Sure, Jae like to drink and Emiko didn't, but she'd seen her wife behave responsibly with drinking so there was no need to worry. There was a great deal of cuddling and Emiko kissing Jae with light pecks whenever she got too excited. And now here they were in a car and the small woman couldn't help but to turn away from beautiful scenery to look back at her wife and hold her hand and smile. "This is really exciting Jae. Our honeymoon!" Emiko sounded like a little kid on a field trip. Which this kind of was for her. She'd never gone on school trips or anything when she was growing up. She'd been too busy trying to get a head start into the acting field. Though it turned out her natural shyness made her better for voice acting than actually acting. "I can't wait to see our room and go to the beach. Oh, I wonder if hang-gliding is an option?" Emiko prattled before looking to her spouse and blushing. "I'm sorry, I know I must seem childish getting all giddy over a trip like this." She giggled before leaning herself into Jae and wrapping her arms around her wife. "But I can't help it. I've had a nearly perfect last thirty six hours and can't contain myself anymore. I want to experience everything I never got to with my lovely wife." She lightly kissed Jae's lips with a quick peck as the Jeep rolled to a stop at their resort.

Arriving as one of the last Jeeps, Emiko stepped out with excitement, only to immediately turn around, wrap her arms around one of Jae-in's and half hide herself from the cameras. There were way too many cameras for her. She felt so shy and embarrassed, she could feel her ears burning up. "Oh gosh. I didn't think there'd be THIS many cameras." She looked to Jae, who seemed completely unfazed by them. Just seeing her like that brought a bit of ease to Emiko as she turned her attention to the speaker, but only for a moment. Instead her eyes were drawn to the Major Domo's as they'd be referred to next. Her eyes looking over their uniform with a bright shine. Jae would eventually come to learn that that was Emiko's "cosplay idea" shine and that more than likely it wouldn't be long before a sketchbook was in her hand. "Can we pick one of the girls Jae?" Emiko asked when she caught the words about them getting one to guide them and answer questions. "I really want to get an idea for their outfits and because then we don't have to compete with all the others picking men." She looked up at Jae with a bit of hopefulness that her partner wouldn't be too opposed to the idea.

Aleksandra

the russian bride

Similar to her now-husband, Aleksandra considered the last twenty-four hours or so to have been a dream. When she'd signed up to get married to a stranger, she hadn't given much thought to who she would end up marrying. It could have been anyone in the world, and she'd ended up with the redheaded male now sitting beside her in the Jeep taking them towards the resort. His vibrant hair color had certainly been the first thing she noticed about him, and it had taken her off guard, though not necessarily in a negative way. It had just made her realize just what she'd signed up for. AKA: the unknown.

But Sasha had never really feared away from the unknown. She'd always been fearless, or at least good at faking it. The nervousness she felt upon seeing Felix for the first time gave way to excitement at the prospect of the adventure she was embarking on. Only this time, she wasn't starting an adventure by herself, but with a man-- a husband-- by her side. Underneath her veil, a bright smile appeared on her face, and it hadn't seemed to dim during the whole ceremony. She had a few chosen friends there with her but no family, though even that didn't diminish her smile.

Once the ceremony and the afterparty were over, they were pretty much immediately on their way to the airport, where they'd fly from Canada to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. Even from her view by the airplane window, she could tell the island was beautiful, and that smile returned to her face. It'd disappeared some as she shared a heated conversation in Russian with her father before boarding the plane. Her conversation had started out in hushed whispers, at least on her end, but the man just made her so angry that by the time she hung up on him, those hushed whispers were a thing of the past.

People had been staring, and she thought she might have embarrassed her husband a bit. Her pride kept her from apologizing then, and she just held her head high as she stalked onto the plane itself. At some point while they flew high above the ground, she turned to him, her eyes searching his as she apologized for the scene. She left it at that, not wanting to go into further detail. At least not there. Once they landed and got settled, maybe there would be time for opening up. After all, wasn't that what this entire trip was about? Getting to know your new spouse?

Once they landed in a Jeep and the ride started, Sasha was quiet until she heard him ask her favorite color. Considering his simple question, she smiled as she looked back at him. "Purple." She answered simply, settling back in the seat some. The rest of the ride was quiet save for some small talk, and even with the last twenty or so minutes of the ride being quite bumpy, they were arriving before Sasha knew it. Shaking her head in response to his question if she'd ever been here before, his statement about the weather brought a small smile to her face. "Never. And I agree-- quite hot."

Listening to the host that greeted them, she glanced over at Felix as her attention started to wane some. Then she looked beyond him, at their surroundings, though she came back to the present and the redhead as he asked if she had a gender preference. The surprised look on her face quickly turned to one of amusement as he clarified his question. "Male, I think." She answered him, her smile playful as she answered his question in both senses. The blush on his face was quite cute, though she shifted her gaze to the Domo's. "Come. Let's pick him."

With her eyes on one of the males that was left, Sasha looped her arm through Felix's and led him in that direction. Stopping in front of the man, Sasha smiled at him. "We choose you. If you're okay with that, I mean." She turned her head to Felix, nodding it towards the male she'd stopped them in front of. "Felix?"

Viktoria

She was married. Actually…married. It almost felt like a dream but Viky was still unsure whether the pinky rainbows and unicorns one or some kind of a phantasmagorical nightmare she was yet to wake up from. She actually said it. I do. Those words definitely left her lips back at the altar. And there was also a guy who said those two words as well. Sure, that whole ceremony seemed like an episode of a sitcom and Viky had to hold herself back a lot not to burst out laughing over it all…but nothing really changed the fact that she was married. The gentle wedding band embracing her left ring finger was nothing but the proof of her not being Viky Fabianova anymore. Who was she? Wait, did they actually talk about last names? Was she keeping her name? Taking his? Or was she gonna be one of those hyphen names? Damn, she needed to figure it out because if they talked about it, it would be really awkward not to remember.

Yet all her thoughts about the last name dissolved into thin air when she watched her husband rummage through his bags only to pull out a string of cans. Viky’s eyes went wide open and at first, she had no idea what Ted was doing. Only seeing those cans tied to the rear bumper made her realize and she started to laugh out loud. “I really thought you guys only did this in movies.” she grinned as her own country definitely didn’t tie empty cans to cars. For no reason. Though she did get in the car a while later when they were finally ready to leave.

“I am hoping for the courteous version. It might be the one to let me sleep across the whole bed while you take the couch.” Viky wiggled her eyebrows, as she buckled in her seat. “But thank you, I do appreciate having you by my side this whole time. Would be weird to explain where my husband was running about if it wasn’t the case.” Viky shrugged teasingly and connected her phone to the radio. Clattering of the cans was making her clench her teeth but it was admittedly adorable how excited Ted was about it so she didn’t say anything. He already didn’t get the wedding he was dreaming about so she decided to have him have his moments. Her music was covering that noise anyway and she shamelessly sang along the greatest 90s hits.

Ending with Spice Girl’s Viva Forever, the jeep parked in front of the resort and the young newlyweds got out, leaving the luggage in for the time being. Viky let Ted be a gentleman and they walked in just in time for the orientation. “I’ll bet you $20 that at least two of them will fight by the end of the week.” she whispered right back, a mischievous smirk gracing her pale Slavic features. Listening to the lady in the front, Viky was already scanning the Major Domo. It seemed the men were way more popular. Ted had already his idea about how to deal with the selection. But Viky had hers as well. “Rock, paper, scissors.” she repeated after him. “I get to pick.” she winked, turning the game into the most horrible dad joke on earth. “How about that girl?” she pointed at one on the very left, grinning ear to ear over the embarrassing joke she had just cracked. Well, from what she’s seen so far, she and her hubby were going to have way too much fun. Hopefully!

Between the frantic screaming of her mother and the painful way Jae-In's heart pounded in her chest, she had come to the conclusion that she would most likely die before ever seeing her newly appointed partner walk down the aisle. She continued to shift her weight from one foot to the other while trying to ignore her siblings that were placing bets on whether or not Jae would end up with a bride or groom. The director and casting managers had already been alerted to her sexuality so she could only hope that they would honor it. As a sudden hush came across those in the wedding hall, Jae-In finally laid eyes on her bride and audibly released a breath that she wasn't aware of. A genuine grin broke out across her face exposing her singular dimple as she took in the short stature of her bride. Everything was going well during the exchange of rings and vows even though Jae did bite her tongue mid-speech.

The after party was surely a sight to behold as the families intermingled leaving Jae-In away from Emiko. Hina was truly a force to be reckoned with as she fired off questions at an inhuman speed. Jae answered as well as she could before switching out with Jisoo the moment Hina wanted to know more about the suit she had on. Those two seemed to hit it off and she went on the hunt for Emiko. Her tiny bride was being overshadowed by Jae's family and she quickly shooed them away as if they were annoying flies, not before she caught sight of one of them showing Emiko baby pictures of Jae. She was feeling warm and had a nice buzz going on so she was raring to end the public display and just spend the night getting to know Emiko as one should on their wedding night....at least that's how she thought it was going to be. The other girl was so nervous and Jae-In realized this would be a tame night for her full of simple cuddles and kisses. For someone who wasn't use to physical intimacy, Jae-In was surprised by how affectionate Emiko.

The PDA continued into the next day as they were headed towards the resort. Once they exited the jeep, they were surrounded by cameras. She could feel Emiko's nerves as the shorter woman receded into her side. ''Hello everyone watching from home, Jae and Emiko reporting for lovey-dovey couple duty,'' Jae-In offered the crew a cheeky smile and a large wave. She made sure that most of the attention had been shifted to herself in the hope that Emiko would slowly get use to them. Jae had no issues as this wasn't the first time she had to appear in front of cameras. On the outside, Jae appeared as the ideal concerned spouse when in reality she was internally squealing over how cute her wife was. 'Yup, definitely the cutest one here. The other wives don't hold a candle to the great cuteness MY Emi has.' The smug thoughts were shown on her face and she had to remember that she was representing the Moon family and those associated with them. Then again what sort of normal, sane mafia family would let their youngest be on national TV for love. Definitely a power move. Jae-In reached down and joined their hands, ''Of course I don't mind. You can choose whichever Major Donut-Domo you want. They're cute but nowhere near your level so you can pick since you seem especially excited. I hope you're not picking one to replace me later on.'' Jae put on the strongest puppydog pout she could muster as she looked at Emi. Yup, definitely would never suspect her to be a danger with her normal personality.

"I'm sorry about that dear. But unfortunately, work follows me at all times. However, I think I've gotten enough taken care of to focus on you and me for the rest of the week." Her wife spoke and Svetlana let out a soft high sound when she was suddenly pulled into the others lap. She laughed though as she happily kissed her back and closed her eyes when those lips traveled down her neck. They stopped just before they reached her collar bone and only because the car had come to a stop it seemed. For those lips had already explored every inch there was last night, and this morning... And during the flight... Yes, on that area, Svetlana had little to complain when it came to this woman. Her wife now. Her fingers slipped over that cheek into those red strands. 'You better make up for making me wait," she spoke playfully as she gave a little tug, before sliding off the others lap.

Work had indeed preoccupied the other when they had not been entangled with each other. While she had been soaking in the tub to nurse her 'hangover', Fran had already been in a heated coversation with Error. Or at least, Svetlana was almost completely sure that she had heard that name fall of those beautiful lips. Yet, she had been brushed off and told not to worry about it. Still that moment had not been erased from her mind that easily. Yet... what were the odds? "Something in between, liybimaya," she answered as the redhead left the car. Svetlana smiled as she moved her long legs out of the Jeep, taking her lovers hands as she was pulled forward into those arms again. Her eyes sparkling as she quickly gave a peck back. "Nothing is more beautiful than you, though," she grinned as she followed along to the rest of the group.

While the head of housekeepers, or whatever, welcomed them, Svetlana let her eyes slide over the people that had arrived already. Most couples seeming rather...normal, boring, ordinary. Most of them happy to be here and to be together. Though of coures, appearances can be deceptive. Very deceptive. She was the living proof of it. Though she was happy with Franziska. They were a good match. She had felt such a relief that there was no huge family or large amount of friends on her wifes side either. And they had had a wonderful after party, their very own. They had sneaked off to the club and pretty much drank for free the whole night. She had no idea how many shots they had gotten from that one group of guys. Hence why she had been in the perfect position to be 'hungover' and avoid any talking in the morning. Yes, with that she lucked out as well. Fran didn't seem to be too pushy on getting to know each other, or at least... not in that way.

So yes, for now, she was happy. She was having fun. And this whole laying low wasn't that bad. But if it would last? Time would tell... There was some potential, if she dared to, if she would allow herself to open up. But, they were not even close to that. "Already looking for more? Am I doing that bad of a job?" Svetlana whispered back, but her eyes telling she wasn't insulted, nor did she mind. She let their kisses linger, softly biting her wifes lip, before stepping forward. It took a few quick steps to block one of the males that was already on the way to help a couple. "Too bad, he is ours," she spoke as she turned to face the scowling male. Her smile sweet, but her eyes challenging as she took him in. He was nothing like the other males that were here. He didn't even look like he wanted to be here. No, he did want to be here, just not with that boring man as his husband. And well, it was not like she could disagree with that. There seemed to be nothing interesting about that guy. He seemed like the kind of guy that would waited for the light to turn green, even when there was no one around. While this man, oh for him, traffic lights were nothing but mere suggestions. So of course, she wanted to play with that fire.

With a lot of curiosity Dante looked at all the other couples that were arriving. The one directly after them was... interesting. They seemed to be no where on a line and mostly just ignored each other. One of them seemed to make the decisions, but the other didn't seem to be too happy about just having to follow them. The Italian gave him a soft apologetic smile when he noticed that envious look. His fingers still traveled over Leo's back though as he looked towards the Domo's. "Let's just take the one that is left," he said with a grin. He had no preference, so why pick when someone else might want the one he chose. He chuckled a bit about the other ways couples came up with their choices, one of them even using rock, paper, scissors it seemed. Not a bad way at all, even if it was a bit childish.

"H-how about him?"

That voice. It made him instantly turn around as he gasped loudly. How had he not noticed him before?! "GUFOOOOOOOOOO," his voice boomed loudly. He didn't care if it shocked everyone. He didn't care for anything as he let go off his husband, so much for protecting him from the attention and the cameras, as he ran over towards the other male. "Oh my god, I cannot believe you are here!" he grinned as he pulled the male into a tight bear hug. He let him go for a few seconds just to kiss those cheeks. Left first and then the right cheek, before pulling him tightly against him again. "Now I get why you couldn't be in my wedding!" he exclaimed. If it had been for an award show or whatever he would have known. They always supported each other at those moments. "You really need to meet Leo! He is such a sweetheart!" He finally, truly, let go of the male as he took a step back.

Dante was about to pull his own husband back when his eye fell on the woman by Demetrius' side. "Oh, I am so sorry," he said, "that was very rude of me." Immediately after the apology he took her hand and bend forward. "I am-" he started as he kissed her left cheek, "Dante Kovalainen." It was still a bit weird to use that last name, but he did enjoy the sound of it. Very much actually. He kissed her right cheek and then pulled her into a hug. A softer and less constricting one as he had done to D. "It is so nice to meet you. I am so excited to get to know you!" He had seen it in Demetrius' eyes already that he was very happy with her. So of course, he couldn't wait to get to know her. Even though D had only known her for 24 hours prior. He gave her a long look with a bright smile, before letting her go again.

This time Dante did reach for his husband, pulling the male close to his side as he kissed him. On the lips though. Sweet and soft. "This is Leo Kovalainen, my husband," he announced with a proud tone and look. He was so lucky to have him. "Leo, this is Demetrius. My best friend." He had told his husband already everything there was to know about D. Or at least, not everything. But at least how they had met and how important D was and how D had helped him to find himself. "And that is... his wife," he said as he slowly started to realize that he didn't even know her name. And perhaps all of this had been a bit...awkward. He had just been so happy to see his friend that he had forgotten about all that...

For the first time, JJ looked back and saw how much of a mess his driving had turned John into. He winced apologetically, and moved to support the other man as best he could. He remembered what Air Marshal Abernathy had told him, just before he and John were left alone.
"Jor, don't be a tosser. I know how you get. The second there is disappointment, you turn into that hardass military man, who has to control things. Stop it. Take a moment to think about the good aspects." JJ paused for a minute. There were a lot of good aspects of John. It wasn't just that he was attractive, though JJ certainly found him to be. He was a kind, decent, patient man. Sure, he wasn't going to go base jumping with him, but he was reliable. And gods knew, JJ could use a little reliable.
"John, I'm s-" just as JJ went to apologize, he was interrupted by an impudent pup who challenged him to rock paper scissors of all things. JJ was about to berate the impudent whelp when the man's wife interrupted him and picked someone different. JJ relaxed, but only for a moment as what could only be described as a tart snagged their Majordomo. She gave him a challenging look, and he looked back with hard, steely eyes. He shifted his footing on instinct, getting into a better defensive position. Seeing the disdainful looks she was throwing at John, he took a step forward, shielding John from her gaze. He didn't know if he would ever love his husband, but he'd said the vows, and made a commitment. The least he could do was make an effort. Letting out a deep sigh, and unclenching his fists, he waved the tart and her Domo away, before turning to John.
"Umm... How are you? I guess we need to pick a new Majordomo. Maybe you should pick. Your opinion matters too..." JJ offered it as an olive branch to his husband, though he figured the damage was already done. He had been his usual charming self, and now he didn't know how to fix things. Personal relationships had never been something he was good at. He was used to a love em and leave em situation, especially after Abigail... JJ's jaw clenched hard for a moment as he tried to hide the pain in his eyes from John. No. He'd told himself he wouldn't think about them. Not on this trip, this trip was about John and him. Without a word, he slipped his arm through John's, taking the man's hand in his. He gave John a small smile, leaning in to whisper in his ear.
"You are a good man, John Wickham. I am sorry you got stuck with me." Saying this, JJ brushed his lips against John's cheek, the smile staying on his face. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

Leo could still feel Dante’s fingers traveling over his back as they looked towards the Domo's. Dante didn’t seem to have a preference on which Major Domo to pick. “Okay, that sounds like a plan!” Leo answered to his husband’s suggestion with a grinning face. Now they just needed to wait for everyone else to choose and then just stick with the last one. Leo let his gaze go around the other couples. Some were discussing about picking the right Major Domo and some had already chosen one. There wasn’t anything too exciting to see, So Leo let his gaze go back to Dante.

Without any warnings Dante shouted out something nonsense. Leo was more confused than shocked. He didn’t understand what was going on. He just stood in his place looking at his husband who was running away from him. Soon he stopped over one male and pulled him into a tight bear hug. Ahh.. an acquaintance of his? Leo walked a little closer to them just in case. He overheard Dante saying that now he understood why the man couldn’t be in their wedding. Oh.. Was that man Demetrius? Dante’s best friend who wasn’t able to come to Leo’s and Dante’s wedding. Leo had already heard lots about him from Dante. Leo couldn’t help but smile. He was happy for his husband, and his smile got even bigger when he heard Dante calling him a sweetheart.

Leo was already expecting Dante to go back to him, but instead he noticed the female close to Demetrius. "Oh, I am so sorry," Dante said, "that was very rude of me." Immediately after the apology he took her hand and bent forward. Leo just kept watching his husband’s doings. Currently he was doing the cheek kiss thing on Demetrius’ wife’s cheek. Seeing that gave Leo major flashbacks from their wedding. Dante’s sister had suddenly hugged him tightly while congratulating and kissing his cheeks. Leo on the other hand froze on his place and just Looked at Dante with ‘help’ written on his face.

Dante introduced himself with Leo’s, no, their’s.. with their surname. For some reason it made Leo really happy to hear the words ‘Dante Kovalainen’. Luck really was on Leo’s side since he got such an amazing husband. After finishing his introduction, Dantereally did reach for Leo, pulling the Finn close to his side as he kissed him on the lips. The kiss was just as sweet and soft as before. Leo couldn’t still help it but feel awkward. He really was not used in public displays of affection. However he had a feeling that if this amount of public kisses kept continuing, he would get used to them really fast.

"This is Leo Kovalainen, my husband", Dante announced with a proud tone and look. Leo couldn’t do anything but watch him with a loving look. Dante was such a sweetheart, he couldn’t have even imagined a better husband. “It’s a pleasure to meet you. Dante has already told a lot about you”, Leo said to Demetrius with a polite smile while offering his hand for a handshake. It was important for Leo to get to know all the people who were dear to dante. Then Leo switched his focus on Demetrius’ wife. She looked extremely pretty and they seemed to be happy together. “It’s a pleasure to meet you as well… Do you mind If I ask your name?” Leo flashed again the same polite smile from before. He was ready to shake her hand too.

Emils was already expecting a teasing comment about his opinion of getting a strong Major Domo. However, instead of that Sunny blurted out that she would like to go with the oldest one. Emils was a little confused by this answer, but it didn’t take long for his wife to start explaining herself further. "Aaah I mean... S-someone with the experience and knows the in and outs of this place would allow us to enjoy it more," She explained, seemingly nervous. Sunny was looking at him while scrunching her nose ever so slightly. Emils couldn’t help but feel this warm feeling whenever he looked at his new wife.

“Do you even know how cute I find you?” Emils voice was full of love. He had really lucked out by getting Sunny as his wife. They were already getting along well, Sunny seemed so sweet and caring and she was also extremely beautiful. Emils got carried away while appreciating his wife. He almost forgot they were picking the suitable Major Domo. “Oh.. right. The Domo’s”, he then continued after realizing he hadn’t yet answered to Sunny. “You’re right. Doesn’t that guy look pretty old and experienced?” He then said while pointing his finger towards this one guy.

After making sure Sunny was okay with the pick, Emils opened his mouth once again. “Okay.. Now that the Major Domo is chosen, what does my pretty princess want to do next?” He kept a small pause before continuing his speech. “We have a lot of opinions like napping or exploring the place. Anyways I’m down for anything you desire.” He said while smiling at Sunny. Emils paid little no attention to the other couples since right now Sunny was the one that mattered the most to him. Despite having most of his attention focused on Sunny, Emils could see the Major Domo going away for a while and then coming back with their luggage. Neat, they didn’t need to carry their own luggage.

“I have an Idea on what we could do next..” Emils started his sentence. “If it’s fine by you, maybe we could go to explore the beach and see if we could find something, like a pretty seashell, to put inside the Ferrero Rocher wrapping?” He finished his sentence with a big smile and outstretched hand, hoping Sunny would hold his hand. How sweet it would be to walk on the beach hand in hand with your own sweet heart.

Demetrius answered with his choice of Major Domo, pointing out a younger shy looking male. Matilda did not agree with his choice. While she was more than happy to listen to his opinion and choice preference, she had no qualms making the decision that seemed like the best and right one for the both of them to get the most of it.

The younger guy looked so shy and awkward looking like as though it was his first week on the job, and there was already buckets full of awkwardness between the two of them, and there was no reason to add anymore by throwing another shy and awkward lad into the mix.

Her calculative gaze fell upon the remaining Major Domos and she quickly settled on somewhat older, middle-aged looking male who looked far more confident than his younger counterpart. "We'll pick him."

Pointing to the Major Domo of her choice, she announced. "You there. Confident fella, you're our choice." Not long after she had announced her choice, she heard the yell of something intelligible by one of the guys only to see him charging towards her husband.

She just about got into defense-ready mode as the well-built male wrapped D in a tight bear-hug. What followed was Demetrius being kissed on his cheeks. They seemed to know each other and Tilly relaxed a little, and man continued to express his surprise at meeting his friend at the programme. All of a sudden, the man's attention fall onto her, and he apologised before introducing himself as Dante. So, this was the best friend D had talked so much about. She then found herself being kissed on her cheeks, before being hugged, catching her by surprise. If she hadn't known who he was, she would have always flipped him over her shoulder in a classic Judo throw she mastered, his large well-built body be damned.

She put on an awkward nervous smile and replied that she was equally pleased to meet him as well. Dante pulled another guy into the mix, and introduced the newcomer as his husband, Leo. Matilda gave Leo a more reassuring smile as the guy offered his hand for shake instead of the kiss and hug that Dante had given. Shaking his hand, she introduced herself to the couple.

"Hi! I'm Matilda, D's wife. You can call me Matilda or Tilly, whichever you prefer. Honey or Sweetheart is reserved just for D though."

D inwardly winced as his wife made her judgement. It made his anxiety jump slightly as she made a snap decision, seeming to ignore his entire input in favor of her judgement. It stung, and reminded him of his upbringing. Decisions made for him, by people pretending to act in his best interest. He took a deep breath as his anxiety crept over him like a rising tidal wave, forcing himself to smile at her, even though he felt like he couldn't get enough air. There was a part of him that admired the confidence of her decision, but it felt like it was drowning in the howling storm of anxiety that threatened to overtake him. All that drew back into the background as he heard a familiar deep voice roaring out from the line of jeeps.
" GUFOOOOOOOOOO" D's synapses fired just quick enough to send his body a signal of 'uh-oh' before he was hit with a massive side of Italian beefcake. He felt his body rock violently, his mind becoming detached as he wondered if the force was sufficient to induce whiplash, before a crushing force on his ribs brought him painfully back into focus.

"Or-Orso," he managed to choke out. "Orso, you're going to pop my costochondral joint at this rate..." Taking in a quick breath as the large man released him, D giggled as the man kissed his cheeks. He'd never gotten used to that particular tradition of his friend, and it always tickled for some reason. D gave Dante an apologetic smile, feeling a small surge of guilt at missing his best friend's wedding. He smiled over at Tilly, and decided it had been worth it in the end.
"Sorry, man. Never figured out the whole being in two places at a time thing, though I did try back in college." D frowned slightly as he remembered the puddles of slime which were the only result of that particular experiment. D smiled up at his big friend, though he avoided direct eye contact.
"A sweetie, huh? Good. You deserve that, my friend. You've had enough bitter people in your life." Demetrius had to chuckle as Dante introduced himself to Tilly as Dante Kovalainen. Clearly they'd had the same idea, to dispel some of the family baggage by getting rid of the surname that had haunted them both for their entire lives. It had been part of the reason Demetrius always went by D. As Demetrius Watkins Jr, he felt his father's disapproval following him like a black cloud. But he was free of that now, thanks to Tilly. She had been surprisingly supportive about it, though he'd kept most of the sordid details from her. As Leo approached, D gave him his best smile, managing about two seconds of eye contact before he looked away. His heart leaped as Tilly introduced herself as his wife. He hadn't remembered her referring to herself that way, and it made his chest ache in the sweetest of ways.
"Honey or sweetheart is reserved just for D, though." As D heard this, his mouth went dry and the biggest smile of his life appeared on his face. Surprising everyone there, he took the outstretched hand of Leo and pulled him into a quick but warm hug. Pulling back, he winked at Dante before speaking.
"Hi, I'm Demetrius Han, but everyone just calls me D." D's grin stayed on his face. Demetrius Han. He liked the sound of that.
"You two look cute together," he said, shyly moving closer to Tilly. "I really like your hair," he said, gesturing at Leo's man bun. Slipping his hand in Tilly's once more, D felt surprisingly confident. For once, things felt right. Maybe this was just what he needed.

"Fine with me." Felix responded and then turned his attention to the Domo. "Would you mind helping us with our bags, and showing us to our room?" The man nodded polietly and grabbed the couples belongings from the Jeep. Felix placed his free hand on the arm Sasha had looped through his and gave her a smile and reassuring squeeze. He had to admit that the very beginning of the trip didn't seem to start off too well. Sasha had a rather heated conversation with somebody, presumably family, on the phone before the plane had departed. The apologetic look in her eyes had torn at Felix's heart. He had wanted to comfort her, but really didn't know how and didn't want to overstep any boundaries. Felix had decided he would make it up to her somehow.

"If you would please follow me." The Domo said to the couple, bags in hand. "Come on." Felix smiled again at Sasha as he led her towards the elevator behind their Domo. Felix looked down once again at where he and Sasha's arms entwined and said "If I ever do or say anything that makes you uncomfortable, please tell me." Felix hadn't been sure what sort of physical and mental boundaries Sasha had, and had been hesitant to touch her for fear of offending her or making her uneasy. If Felix was being honest with himself, he would really like to kiss her again...

The elevator stopped and their Domo led them to a door with "Mr. & Mrs. Parke" engraved into the metal plate. The man opened the door and placed their luggage down near the entrance. Felix's mouth was open slightly in shock from just how nice their room was. Felix had never stayed in any hotel that didn't reek of beer, cigarettes, and urine before. "Oh wow, this is...this is nice." Felix dropped Sasha's arm and walked over to the infinity pool that sat at the edge of the room. The edge quite literally being an edge, as there was no fourth wall. He skimmed his hand across the still surface of the water and watched as it rippled and spilled over the far edge down onto whatever lay below the infinity pool.

Felix removed his hand and walked over to the four poster bed. With the absence of a fourth wall, Felix really hoped it didn't rain while they were sleeping. He sat down on the edge and then laid back. "Sasha, come feel this bed! It's like laying on a cloud!" He patted the empty space beside him, inviting his wife to join him.

John Wickham

Are you serious right now?!” John snapped at the woman who seconds ago had practically tried to devour her new wife. The sharp tone of voice was atypical for the usually gentle man, but it had been an atypical day - one which required a margarita, not some person trying to start a fight for absolutely no reason.
As he opened his mouth to keep arguing with the canniba-lady he could see the cameraman closest to them inch even closer, lens whirring inside its shell as it focused on the altercation. It made him shut up; he would not be ridiculed in front of the cameras even more than he’d already been simply by having been paired up with JJ. Surprisingly, it was said JJ who stepped in instead, using his broad body to practically shield him from the situation. John blinked once. Twice. Three times, before managing to snap back to himself and meet JJ’s steely gaze. “Uh-,” he spluttered, rubbing his neck awkwardly, “I’m. Good. Sheesh, do you know that woman?” John noted the sudden flash of pain in his husband’s eyes, and his own widened. “...Oh, is she your ex?” For a second he flailed his hand around in the air, trying to think of something more to say, before deciding to just take a quick peek around the man’s shoulder at the remaining Majordomos. While it felt kind of wrong to pick out another human being, John thought it at least worth it to try since JJ had kindly offered for him to choose. Operant conditioning and rewarding good behavior, and all that.

And, as he was leaning to the side in order to have a look, JJ’s lips made contact with his cheek - hot breath sending a wave of electricity across his skin. John exhaled harshly, cameras completely forgotten as JJ whispered into his ear. Flashbacks to the wedding - JJ’s cold conduct becoming burning as he pressed his mouth to John’s, his arms curling around John’s waist in order to bring him closer. The brief thought of shit my colleagues are watching thank god we didn’t bring Ava to this as JJ’s tongue stroked against his.

"You are a good man, John Wickham. I am sorry you got stuck with me." John’s brows furrowed as he fully took in the words. Was the man actually saying he was going to keep being a wanker, or was it a kind of pity for John? Memories of their first - and only! - kiss got replaced by the way JJ had basically ignored him during their wedding day, watching him with disappointment, and looking like a man on a mission rather than one searching for love. And how emotional sparks had seemed to fly even between him and the vampire lady, when it between them seemed awfully chilly. John was about it make it colder.
It’s fine,” John responded, disentangling himself from the embrace which the men had ended up in, “It is what it is.” Instead of looking at his new husband, he made eye contact with the Majordomo closest to them - a sturdy-looking brunette in her 40’s, with a thin mouth and serious eyes. “Would you like to escort us, ma’am?” He asked, gaining a curt nod in return. John’s gaze returned to JJ and his cheeks subconsciously puffed up, giving him the appearance of an angry-squirrel. When looking at the footage later, it was sure to make him cringe - from the top of his tussled hair, to the bottom of his shined shoes, John was a stickler for appearance. Especially in moments of utter emotional humiliation. “Alright then, that settles that. Let’s go.”

  • Emiko was so happy to have Jae taking the attention off of her. It made the small woman let out a sigh of relief as she finally slipped out from behind her wife. Of course she still had a blush on her face from how sweet Jae was being. It honestly made her feel like a princess in a Disney movie. However, as she looked over to the side and saw drama beginning to unfold, Emiko once again felt a little nervous about the whole situation. "Oh god. I'm so glad I didn't get paired up with that woman." Emiko pointed to the one that had just walked up to start a fight with one of the other pairs. That tall woman scared her, but not as much as what Jae had just teased. "There's no WAY I would replace you. You're too perfect for that!" Emiko didn't realize she'd just shouted that loud enough to probably be heard on the top floors of the hotel. Her face now beyond crimson as she wished she could just disappear. "OOOOH. That's not fair to tease me like that." She pouted while turning her attention back to the major domos. She saw one of the girls had bright red hair. She was probably only a few centimeters taller than Emiko and looked just as panicked. She couldn't help but instinctively walk towards her.

"Would you mind helping my wife and I adjust to this place?" Emiko smiled at the girl who seemed to exhale a sigh of relief at the sight of Emiko after jumping from suddenly being called out to. "But before you guide us to our rooms there's something I want to do." The major domo nodded and moved out of the line to make sure that none could try and claim her again. Emiko, however, returned to Jae and pointed to the man that had just screamed out and was talking with another pair. They looked so lively and energetic that Emiko really wanted to go join them. It felt like her workplace with people smiling and having fun. "We should introduce ourselves to our neighbors for the week. It's only polite." She smiled at her wife, half pleading with her eyes for Jae to take the lead. Emiko only knew how to really make friends at work, this wasn't work and she didn't think that any of the adults here would appreciate her art or her job. At least, none outside of her doting wife. "Plus I want us all to get along and make some friendships spanning the globe."
