The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke

"When AJ is being good to Audrey, I like him. When he's not, I don't."

As everyone has to admit, there's a likability factor to AJ that just seems inherent. He has an attractive vibe to him and he's fun to be around. He's well-respected, and for the most part, Kat would say that she respects him as well. The fact that he's dating her best friend makes things a bit more complicated though, because when he hurts Audrey, Kat takes personal offense to that. It's only what you would expect from a good best friend who wants to protect their friend, and when it comes down to it, she loves Audrey a lot more than she loves AJ, so she would always take Audrey's side in things. Does she think that Audrey deserves better than AJ? Absolutely. Then again, does she think that there actually is anyone better than AJ in their social circle who would have a chance with Audrey? No.

The Queen Bee | Audrey Simone

"Audrey is my best friend and she's earned the respect she has."

Katherine and Audrey's friendship goes way back to when they were just toddlers, and they have essentially been best friends since then. Kat has always respected Audrey as being the leader of their friend group, even before they were in high school and cliques were official. She never had a problem with being the sidekick and even when people claimed that she was a follower or minion of Audrey's, it didn't bother her. There definitely are times when she has to shut her mouth and just accept that Audrey's going to get her way even if she doesn't agree with it, and like sisters, the two of them can bicker from time to time, but it's never anything serious. Their friendship works for them, and Kat loves Audrey sincerely.

The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates

"Lizzie is the best! I literally love her but I wish that she would get a little more crazy when we go out!"

Katherine appreciates Lizzie, and would certainly consider her to be a good friend. She's the one person who, time and time again, will help Kat out even when she doesn't deserve it. Whether it's on a project, homework assignment, or an exam, it's likely that Kat waited until the last minute to start working on it, and it's likely that Lizzie will agree to help her prepare for it. Katherine thinks of Lizzie as being the smartest person she knows, so her intelligence doesn't go unappreciated. However, for obvious reasons, it's likely a bit annoying or unfair that she expects her friend to just drop everything and come help her every time she gets herself into problems she could have avoided by just being a responsible student. If Kat had any complaints about Lizzie (and they would only be lighthearted), it would be that she wishes she could get the girl to loosen up a bit more... indulge in more gossiping, get drunk at parties... that kind of stuff.
RR8jibo.jpg
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil

"He's sweet!"

Katherine's father is a good friend of Omar's parents, having known his mother for many years, so she has known Omar for a while. They aren't extremely close but between their family link and the fact that they're both A-listers and in turn, have many mutual friends, Kat would consider him to be a friend. She knows that she can vent to him about anything she wants to get off of her chest without having to worry about it coming back to bite her in the ass. It's true that the same can't be said in reverse, but in Kat's defense, it's nothing personal against Omar. Her inability to keep a secret is nearly part of her personality at this point, and she would never do anything with malicious intentions towards him.

The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley

"She's scary and gross."

Growing up, Kat and Ellodie were actually friends. Katherine was pretty accepting of anyone that Audrey deemed to be worthy of their time, and because back then, Ellodie was "normal" and fit in with their crowd, Kat had no reason not to like her. When her sexuality was revealed, Kat may have been the most dramatic of them all in claiming that Ellodie was gross. It was offensive and ignorant, but Kat was certain that if they ever included Ellodie in anything again, she was going to try to make a move on them. She had to be cut off. It's funny how the girl who has always been so quick to turn her nose at someone's sexuality is the one who's now realizing that she isn't as straight as she always believed she was, and maybe the disgust that she's always associated with Ellodie is what makes her fearful to admit who she truly is, too. Regardless, her relationship with Ellodie is currently only a negative one with Katherine still maintaining a condescending and rude attitude towards her.
6-32-gthumb-ghdata200.jpg
The Party Animal | Jackson Fox

"I think I would have killed myself out of sheer embarrassment if I was him."

Katherine is quite comfortable with the materialistic, 1% world that she lives in. She was raised to believe that money equals success, and the lack of money equals failure. When Jackson's father was arrested on embezzlement charges, any positive things that she would have had to say about the boy flew out the window. Not only does she deem him as being poor now, but he's worse than someone who just isn't wealthy because they aren't. He had a fall from grace, and for some reason, that's even worse than being at the bottom the whole time.

M63juRjcrtE.jpg
The Rebel | Luna Trevor

"She's just annoying and unnecessary in my life. She and her mother could be hit by a bus and I wouldn't shed a tear."

It's no secret that Katherine does not get along with her stepmother or stepsister. Her own mother and father never lived together following her birth, so it's not like she feels like Luna's mother has tried to replace her mother or anything. Kat just doesn't like change, and she likes to think that she can get her way no matter what, so when she opposed her father getting married and her wishes were ignored, it essentially sealed the deal that she would hold a grudge against the woman. The fact that she brought a kid along only made it worse, especially because in Kat's eyes, she was a weirdo. Luna and Katherine are very different people, and though their parents have been married for five years, they aren't one big happy family. Katherine is still a brat and still likes to claim that any minute now, her father will be serving Luna's mother divorce papers and they'll be kicked out of the house. It's just how Katherine is. However, she has adjusted to them being a part of her life by now. They don't always get along (or they rarely get along...), but they're family... sort of.

The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke

"She better keep her mouth shut."

Up until just recently, Kat had no reason to think of Alaina as being anything other than AJ's weird sister. That was confirmed recently, this past week, when she found out that the eating disorder support group her father forced her into happens to be the same one that Alaina recently joined, but it additionally added another layer to their relationship. Their interaction in the group was a bitter one, with Kat being dramatic, childish and offensive, and in her opinion, Alaina being every negative adjective in the English language. This new element in their relationship has definitely complicated things for Kat, who would have much preferred to only know her as an acquaintance over someone who now knows her personal business.

The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault

"God bless whoever marries this girl one day."

As one of Audrey's closest friends and a prominent member of the A-list clique, AJ spends a fair amount of time with Katherine. She's fun and cute; he wouldn't deny that. However, he knows and has experienced first hand how she can be... a lot. She's sensitive and always seems to take things personally or drag little issues into big ones, and AJ is pretty sure that she adds fuel to the fire whenever he and Audrey have minor issues that she comes to know about. As Audrey's good friend, he would never genuinely speak poorly of Kat to anyone, but she's definitely a lot to handle unless it's in small doses.

7FL6g4mcgrk.jpg
The Queen Bee | Audrey Simone

"Even if things between us aren't perfect right now, I still feel like she's 'the one' for me."

AJ has always been infatuated with Audrey. She was and is his first love, even if that sounds silly coming from a teenager. Audrey is just as perfect as everyone believes her to be. She isn't without flaws, and AJ thinks those have contributed to the rockiness in their relationship, but compared to every other girl out there, she's absolutely amazing in every way. He really does see himself marrying Audrey some day. He just wishes that they could work things out and make things seem as perfect as they do to other people. He just doesn't know how much longer he can continue to apologize for cheating on her, especially when he was only pushed to that point because of how cold she was beginning to act towards him. AJ is willing to put in the effort to fix the relationship and admit his flaws, but he doesn't know if Audrey is willing to do that as well on her end.

The Charmer | Tristan Reneaux

"He's a good guy."

They run in the same clique, so it makes sense that AJ gets along with Tristan. Tristan has a personality that is easy to like, and AJ thinks of him as being a good friend. They aren't too similar in terms of personality, but it doesn't seem to affect their friendship.
xGK4PRYQsHo.jpg
The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates

"Lizzie is cool. She's not afraid to be who she is."

A lot of the girls in their cliques are clones of each other, if not physically, then in personality. AJ respects that Lizzie is true to who she is. She doesn't dumb herself down for anyone and she doesn't care if people think that she's lame for prioritizing school over other things. She seems to have her priorities straight, and for that in itself, AJ respects her. Add in that she's a truly nice girl and one of Audrey's friends, and he undoubtedly thinks of her as being a good person.

RR8jibo.jpg
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil

"Seriously, this dude is the kind of friend that anyone would be lucky to have."

Given how long they have been friends, it's safe to say by now that Omar is his best friend. He's nearly a brother to him with how close they are, and he is someone that AJ would take a bullet for if he had to. He knows that Omar has his back no matter what, and he would do the same for him.

The Entrepreneur | Francis Books

"You can't hate a guy for seeing a need and capitalizing on it."

AJ knows that Francis is the plug for whatever he needs. It's usually weed and test answers every now and then when he doesn't have the time or the desire to study on his own. Their relationship pretty much ends there though. It's a business based one and its foundation. They'll say hello to each other and acknowledge each other in a typical manner than would be expected of classmates, but they aren't friends or anything deep.

The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley

"Apparently she's got some weird obsession with something that happened years ago with Audrey. I heard she's so caught up about it because she had a crush on Audrey back then, but who knows if that's true."

AJ knows what went down years ago between Audrey and Ellodie, and it makes him feel uncomfortable because he knows that Audrey is capable of being as cruel as that. However, he was complicit in all of it, like most of their friends were, so he knows that he's really no better than his girlfriend because he did nothing to stop the taunting at the time. He and Ellodie don't ever really interact, and he's keen on keeping it that way.

6-32-gthumb-ghdata200.jpg

The Party Animal | Jackson Fox

"I get that he couldn't control what his dad did, but you don't get to scam my family and then get the benefit of the doubt that maybe being garbage isn't genetic."

For a long time, Jackson and AJ were good friends. AJ's parents were friends with Jackson's dad, and since their parents ran in the same crowd, AJ and Jackson quickly became good friends. Jackson's father being outed in the embezzlement scheme changed everything though. Austin's parents had given Jackson's father money to invest at one point, as clients, and when he went down for the crime, it became apparent that their money was gone too. It wasn't an amount that would ruin the Clarke family at all, but it was the principle of the matter. Not only did Mr. Fox scam his clients, but he scammed his clients and friends, and that was all it took for the entire Fox clan to be outcasted by the Clarke's. AJ cut Jackson off, not because he had done anything wrong himself, but because he had to stand by his family, and he hasn't looked back since.
M63juRjcrtE.jpg
The Rebel | Luna Trevor

"She's hot in that crazy kind of way, but she's definitely not a good influence on my sister."

In middle school when Alaina first befriended Luna, AJ had a short-lived crush on her because she really is a pretty girl, and her wild personality was interesting. He moved on fairly quickly, as most boys his age would, and now sees her just as one of Alaina's friends. While she's definitely still hot, it's in the same way that Harley Quinn is hot. You know they're crazy, but it's somehow still attractive. AJ has a girlfriend and would never jeopardize his relationship for someone like her. Outside of that, even after all these years, it still sometimes worries him that Alaina is so close with her. He's sure her bad habits will rub off on his sister one day, if they haven't already.
The Class Clown

The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke

"I know Alaina can hold her own and I don't really have to worry about her, but mess with her and I'll fuck you up. That simple."

Alaina and AJ are twins, so they have a bond that's not only family-strong, but twin-strong in its own sense. Growing up, they got along just as well as most siblings did. Even though they were the same age, AJ always felt the need to protect his sister. It was never in an overbearing or strange way, but it more-so in a way where he would never stand for anyone messing with her, no matter who they were. They come from a good family with strong values, so looking out for each other is second nature by now. With that being said, it's no secret that socially, they have went separate ways compared to how close they were as children. AJ knows that he can still lean on Alaina if he needs her, and they're definitely still close, but their interests, and more notably their friends, have changed over the years.

The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke
(Played by BurningBridges)

"He can jump off a bridge for all care!"

Jackson and Austin used to be best friends when they were young boys. They joined sports teams together, did assignments together and always had each-others back. Both of them were quite popular and had other friends but Jackson always considered him his best friend. Jackson and Austin's parents were good friends too. Even before the two of them were born their family's had been linked. Aj's father gave Jackson's father money to invest for them as clients, but when the embezzlement scheme came to light they found out he'd screwed them over and all their money was gone. Unfortunately when he fell from grace Austin cut ties with him, probably due to family pressure. Jackson felt extreamly betrayed and hurt. if Austin said the wrong thing it wouldn't be hard to spark a physical fight with how Jackson is feeling right now.
The Queen Bee

"Just another ex-friend."

Audrey and Jackson used to hang out more than most, purely because he and AJ were very good friends. He witnessed all the highs and lows of their relationship and he probably knows more about it than most do. But somehow despite all that, he knew she'd drop him as a friend. She was the queen of the school and her "King" had basically disowned him. With all the social pressure on her, Jackson knew whatever friendship they might have had wouldn't weigh up to that pressure.
The Untouchable One
Mason Fitzgerald

"I mean, what more can he do to me right? "

Jackson used to be pretty cool with MJ, they hung out a lot. He was a little turned off by how high and mighty he could be about himself, but Jackson didn't think it was worth upsetting a balance that worked out pretty well for him. So of course it happened to be MJ's bigshot lawyer mother who put his father in jail. After THAT particular news spread around, there was a lot of tension between them. It FELT to Jackson like MJ was almost expected to go against him now that their families were entangled like that. Now that Jackson is ruined, however, he no longer takes any of MJ's shit. Jackson isn't sure but he thinks MJ might even feel a little threatened.
The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault
(Played by BurningBridges)

"Superficial, that's really it to her "Personality""

To Jackson, Kat seemed to be the annoying one in his friendship group. He wasn't exactly mean to her but he probably came off as a little sarcastic. He currently assumes the worst of her, expecting that everything he is currently doing with his life is being broadcasted as gossip to everyone else from her pretty little mouth. If Jackson didn't have low opinions of her before his fall from grace, he certainly does now.
The Charmer
Tristan

"The dude needs to step off before he regrets it..."

Jackson and Tristan never really had much or a relationship until he began hanging out with Elizabeth after his fall. Apparently the two of them are buddied up and he had a massive problem with Jackson hanging out with her. Instead of being rational, Jackson bristles and arches his back every time he comes near, seeing him as a threat to the friendship he values more than anything right now.
The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates
(Played by jinkx)

"loosen up a little would you? Geez!"

The two of them met through mutual friends in the A-list, and never really grew close until after Jackson fell from grace. He always thought she was a good person, although before his dad went to jail he was a little too blinded by his crush on the traitor to notice her. Shortly after he lost his father, he went to visit him in prison. Some guys from the party said they'd drive him but before he got back they'd left and he had no way home. Elizabeth was the one he drunkenly called after he'd been at the pub a while to help him get home. Since she came through for him he's been trying to help her deal with stress where as she has been trying to help him not wreck his life. Opposites attract, I suppose.
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil
(Played by por.quoi)

"He makes me miss the old days... "

Omar was another childhood friend of his and AJ's. He was always the one he could talk to when he was down, and he was just always there like Jackson's rock. Without Omar he felt a little lost, it was all three of them, the three amigos, or it was no one. When AJ and Jackson fell out, Jackson could see it kind of put Omar in a bit of an awkward position as he was still trying to be friends with both of them. Seeing him now just makes Jackson feel kind of guilty for putting him in this situation. He thinks he should let the friendship go so that it's easier for Omar, but he just can't.
The Traitor

"Nothing and nobody will ever be more important to her than her reputation with other rich assholes, I wish she'd quit being a damn puppet."

Jackson knew Elena pretty well before he left the a-listers, he even quite enjoyed her company, it wasn't until the two of them ended up in bed together at a party one night that things got complicated. The conversation they had that night, he remembered was the most honest and free he'd ever been with someone. Maybe he was just being manipulated or maybe she was feeling the connection too, but either way, after that she wanted nothing to do with him. In a moment of weakness, he ended up going to her for help. He was afraid of losing all his friends, afraid of losing everything he knew, and he asked her to help him save face. Of course it might effect her reputation, so she told him she couldn't help him. After that, he has felt an annoying mix of attraction and bitter anger towards her.
The Leader

"We go way back, I guess?"

The two of them have know one another since they were kids, but only because their famies were friends and often took turns hosting dinner parties. Jackson has nothing bad to say about him. He's a good guy and he enjoys his company when he does come to the odd party. They've never had any sort of deep conversation, though and both of them are quite different people.
The Bookworm | Arianna Jamison
(Played by Beauty_Belle)

"It's a little awkward."

The two of them met when Jackson was 16 and she was 15 because he began dating her elder sister. Their relationship only lasted a couple months but it was long enough for him to have been over to Arianna's house a fair few times. It all ended around the 3 month mark when Jackson came over unexpectedly and heard the two sisters arguing about the fact that Ari's sister had cheated on him. After that, Jackson was a little torn up, and there was a moment where he tried to make a move on Ari. That went down in flames, and it's been rather an embarrassing memory ever since. luckily she is mostly in the library so they don't see one another that much.
The Entrepreneur

"I hate to admit it but, he's really got me between a rock and a hard place here..."

Jackson used to be one of Francis's biggest spenders. In fact, Francis valued him as a customer so much that he let him invest quite a lot of money with the promise that he would pay back later. Unfortunately not long after that promise, Jackson lost everything. Everyone knows that Francis could pull strings to help or he could pull strings to hurt, and Jackson couldn't risk falling any further at his hands, so he was forced to work for Francis to pay back his debt. Jackson does jobs for him when they come up, no matter what they are. Jackson's pride hurts, but he doesn't hate Francis, he's got a talent, and he's using it, who could fault him for that.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley
(Played by jinkx)

"Funny as fuck, man. Rivals me, but don't tell her I said that"

Ell and Jackson have only really met drunk at various parties. They don't know each other really well, as both of them are pretty guarded people. He likes seeing her at parties though, something about her makes him forget all the noise while she's around.
The Rebel

"She's gonna get ME in trouble, and that's really saying something"

The two of them regularly meet at and usually end up going to bed with one another after various parties. There's no strings attached there though. They are way to wild to ever want to settle down with one another.
The Class Clown

"He always livens up my parties, so I cant really fault him for that"

The two of them are only really acquainted because Joseph is always doing stupid shit at the parties that Jackson throws. Neither of them know anything about the other except that they are pretty fun to be around.
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke
(Played by cure)

"I don't give two flying fucks what AJ thinks, We're going to be friends and that's that."

Alania and Jackson were family friends grown up, just like AJ and him. The three of them have many memories hanging out together and he has always had a close relationship with her. To the dismay of her family, after Jackson's father went to jail she remained on good terms with Jackson and would often still hang out with him. As much as he likes her, he has to admit to himself, part of why he talks to her as much as he does is because it really get's under AJ's skin.
The Mum Friend | Emily Ferguson
(Played by Lauren.)

"I'm very thankful for her friendship, I probably wouldn't have a job without her"

Jackson met her officially when he began working at the gas station roughly half a year ago when his father went to jail. She was pretty nice to him, and the two of them ended up talking a lot when they had shifts together. She was always getting him out of trouble and worring about him too much. It was annoying but at the same time she was like the sister he never had, and he cares about her like a big brother would.

The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke
(Played by BurningBridges)

"I give him a hard time because he's an idiot, but at the end of the day he's family, so I've got his back. I'll still give him hell after though."

Like many siblings, Alaina was very close to AJ growing up, and despite them being the same age, she looked up to him in many ways. As children, she never had any problems with AJ always being well liked, probably because AJ never let his friends treat her poorly. It wasn't until middle school, and when Alaina was trying to fit in more, that she found out people were merely tolerating her because she was his sister. Once he became a part of the A-list crowd, she felt more isolated from him and it's always bothered her that people thought she was somehow beneath him, even if he didn't think that way. Despite this, Alaina never confronted her brother about these feelings because, despite how much flack she'll give him and his friends, she didn't want to stir trouble for him. So instead, she constantly criticizes him because she thinks the majority of his friends are frauds. Despite all this, she still has his back and if she hears anyone slandering her brother, even if she does so herself, she'll quickly put you in your place.

The Queen Bee | Audrey Simone

"If you have nothing nice to say..."

Being the Queen Bee, Audrey inevitably represents every qualm Alaina has with their social system. The fact that she dates her brother as well doesn't help the matter. Since those two have been dating for several years now, Alaina has more or less gotten used to the girl's presence, and after growing tired of being punished for being rude to the girl when she visited, Alaina is not as nasty as she once was. That doesn't mean she's cordial though. Alaina doesn't think she's good for her brother, but she also doesn't think Audrey is a good person in general. Out of all the A-listers, out of anybody really, Audrey is probably the one she dislikes the most. It almost bothers Alaina how much the girl aggravates her especially because Audrey has the ability to bring out a meaner, pettier side of Alaina. If she were to be completely honest, Alaina's behavior and feelings towards Audrey aren't entirely fair, but that's something she'd never admit, mostly because it's not something she actually believes.

The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault
(Played by BurningBridges)

"This definitely wasn't exactly how I pictured her knowing my name isn't 'AJ's weird sister'"

Like most people in that crowd, Alaina was never a fan of Kat. She perhaps has stronger feelings because the girl has such close ties with the Queen Bee and therefore is also pretty high on the social ladder. She always viewed the girl as being some sort of lapdog or yesman, and her chance encounter with Kat at their therapy group merely secured her own opinions on the girl. Alaina knows that neither of them can really snitch without risking getting outed themselves, but she is still uneasy that someone knows her secret, and not just someone, but Katherine Arnault at that. She's playing it cool for now and hopes Kat does the same.

(Played by jinkx)

"Lizzie's pretty cool. I don't know how she does it all."

Alaina likes Lizzie and won't hesitate to say hi and start a conversation with the girl if she sees her, doing this out of a genuine desire to talk and not to just annoy the A-listers. She admires the girl's intellect, as well as everything else the girl somehow manages to balance on her ever growing plate. Alaina doesn't realize just how hard it is for Lizzie to do this because it seems so natural to the girl. Because of this, a part of Alaina wishes she was like Lizzie in this regard.

The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil
(Played by por.quoi)

"Basically my backup brother for when I finally decide to kill A.J."

Being best friend's with her brother since they were tots, Alaina grew up close with Omar. She has fond memories of playing with him as a child and considers him one of her oldest friends. Despite him also being an A-lister, something she'll chastise him for (just like she does with A.J.), she does care deeply for Omar not just because he's a family friend but because he's a kind person. She's told him time and time before that he's too good for the company he keeps. As she's grown distant from her brother, inevitably the same happened with Omar, but she still considers him a dear friend.
The Traitor | Elena Baird

"Not my cup of tea."

To Alaina, she's just another typical A-lister. Anyone closely associated with Audrey is automatically in low favor of her. It could be unfair because she doesn't know much about the girl and it's not like they have some volatile history with each other, but Alaina doesn't need to be personally victimized by someone to dislike them. If the saying is true that you are the company you keep, then it would make just as much sense that she wouldn't be particularly moved by Elena. Alaina won't go out of her way to be rude if she ever comes across the girl, but she doesn't put much effort into hiding her feelings either.

The Bookworm | Arianna Jamison
(Played by Beauty_Belle)

"Blonde. Quiet. Glasses. That's really all I could tell you."

Alaina doesn't have much of a relationship with Ari. The girl keeps to herself, which just seems to be her personality and not a slight to Alaina. Alaina can appreciate that the girl does her own thing, but a part of her does find her boring and wishes the girl would get out and live a little. From what she knows, though, Ari is also pretty smart, up there with Lizzie, so maybe Alaina should keep her mouth shut because her grades aren't really anything to brag about.

The Entrepreneur | Francis Books

"The seedy guy who sells counterfeit drugs? Yeah...I keep my distance."

Alaina is (understandably) weary of Francis. His business doings are obviously sketchy, but what bothers her is that she can't really read the guy. Sometimes it seems like he's a nice person but at the same time he also seems downright suspect. Alaina doesn't consider him an enemy, but also wouldn't consider him a friend, and she purposely tries to keep him at arm's reach, only going to him here and there for trivial things like test answers. There was a point a few years ago when she went to him for addies, but that's as far as it's ever gotten with him. She'll still converse with him in jest to test the boundaries, and she's not above having surface conversations with him, but she doesn't trust the guy and isn't keen to be proven right.

(Played by jinkx)

"I mean, I dig the whole goth thing but I don't think I'm her favorite person."

Alaina doesn't actually have much problem with El. In fact, she finds it quite amusing seeing the girl put A-listers in their place (with her brother being the exception, within reason). She might bump heads with the girl from time to time, which would probably be expected with somewhat similar personalities, but Alaina won't go out of her way to start anything with her that's uncalled for (most of the time). After a few years she's picked up on the fact that she might not be El's favorite person, and while she doesn't know why, she doesn't lose any sleep at night over it. If El ever steps on her toes, she has no issue retaliating.

(Played by Tui)

"He's intriguing, that's for sure."

Alaina has known Jackson since she was a small child thanks to him being such close friends to her brother. And because he remained a good friend to AJ, she didn't have any hard feelings towards him for being an A-lister. After his father basically scammed her family, the Fox's were cut off and she was expected to listen, though she chose to act out and disobey, though not necessarily out of any allegiance to Jackson. If anything, him being off limits made him even more intriguing. She'd always found him interesting, perhaps because, in her eyes, he seemed to truly represent the free spirited natured that she sometimes feels doesn't come naturally to her. Regardless, he seems the fun type and she enjoys satisfying her curiosity by testing his boundaries, usually with flirtatious banter.

"Love of my life."

Anyone who knows the two knows that they're best friends and you don't have to know them well to really understand why. Neither of them are interested in the social politics of their world and they both enjoy letting loose and having a good time. Alaina knows she can always count on the girl to give her a little boost of confidence (whether for good or bad) and Alaina is always there to tame out the crazy things they get into. Instead of water and oil they're more like fire and gasoline. Despite perhaps being the craziest, Alaina thinks Luna is the only sane one in all of Constance. She adores the girl and is usually right beside her when it comes to the shenanigans.

Elizabeth Bates

Role: The Overachiever

Age: 17

Grade: 12

Clique: A List

The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke
(Played by BurningBridges)

"We're friends, of course. I think he's cool."

A Listers have a tendency to make friends with others within their clique, so of course they know each other. Lizzie would definitely consider him a friend, even if she doesn't know him inside-out, and the fact that she's friends with Audrey cemented their friendship. It's no secret to her that AJ is always nice to his girlfriend's friends. If AJ and Audrey ever broke up, Lizzie isn't sure which- of either of them- she would stick with; she likes both of them. AJ is a people-person and easy to get along with, easy to be friends with, though he's not someone she'd ever share her private thoughts with. He's also never looked down on her for being a rather unconventional A Lister, which she appreciates. Lizzie is a little bit in awe of him and his strong social presence but is also critical of the fact that he isn't very studious. Not that she'd ever tell him to his face but she honestly believes he has the potential to do better if he just worked a little harder. Lizzie is yet to see the negative side of AJ and can't imagine him being anything other than the socialable and friendly person she sees everyday.
The Queen Bee | Audrey Simone
(Played by A_Writer)

"Audrey's super nice to me. She's a good friend of mine."

Initially, they got to know each other because Audrey wanted to work with her on a group project, (which Lizzie feels somewhat touched by, as she knows that Audrey has her pick of classmates) but something of a real friendship stemmed from it. It was something Lizzie had never expected because prior to attending Constance, she had hardly been anything of an A Lister and now she's friends with The Queen Bee herself. Her friendship with Audrey might be what truly secured her spot in the A List to begin with. She admires Audrey's perfectionism and how she always seems in control, no matter what the situation. She also looks up to Audrey, as most people do, and can be somewhat vulnerable to Audrey's manipulative nature because she is so eager to please. It seems like Audrey admires her intelligence and considers her to be a real asset to the A Listers, which means a lot coming from the Queen. They're good friends and enjoy spending time together but Lizzie would hardly rank Audrey as her closest friend- a spot which is firmly held by Omar. Regardless, they get along very well. Lizzie is not unaware of Audrey's colder side but elects to turn a blind eye to it. That doesn't mean she agrees with it; but Lizzie likes to see the best in people and figures that the only reason Audrey can be mean is because she'll do whatever it takes to stay on top. That's something Lizzie can sympathise with, even though she'd never resort to dirty tricks to keep up her reputation as The Smartest Girl In School.
The Untouchable One | Mason-James Fitzgerald
(Played by Colelovesrp)

"MJ can be a little cold but he's nice once you get to know him."

They're both in the same clique and they seem to get along okay, despite her thinking that MJ is a little cocky. Lizzie has helped him out with schoolwork in the past.
The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault
(Played by BurningBridges)

"Quite often, we study together. Well, I say “together”. What I mean is, I tutor Kat sometimes."

It's not unusual for Kat to realise the night before a test or a few hours before a project deadline that she has no idea what she's doing. Luckily, Lizzie is always willing to put everything aside in order to help her. It can be a tad annoying to drop everything last minute, (especially if she already had plans she was looking forward to), for her friend but Lizzie would never tell her as much and she is glad that she's able to help. She likes Kat a lot, even though she can be quite flighty, and rarely listens to her suggestions that she should start studying for the upcoming test soon. Part of her is envious that Kat doesn't have to work as hard to get what she wants but she would never let it get in the way of their friendship. Initially, Kat's tendency to bitch bothered her but over time, Lizzie has adjusted to it and will even sometimes disclose when somebody has been irritating her. Sometimes, she wonders if tentatively disclosing information like that to Kat is a good idea. She knows that Kat looks up to her as being intelligent, which makes her feel secretly pleased, but she also knows that Kat, along with everybody it seems, is eager to draw her out of her shell. Kat wants her to loosen up and not take things so seriously and while Lizzie is terrified of what might happen if she lets her control slip for even a minute, she can't deny it sounds exciting too.
The Charmer | Tristan Reneaux
(Played by Maree)

"I mean, it's no wonder everyone swoons over him."

It's not uncommon for Tristan to flirt with her playfully or for her to indulge him by playing along; however, the two of them are just firm friends, nothing more. Besides, Lizzie is pretty sure that flirting is Tristan's primary form of communication. He probably learned how to flirt before he learned how to talk. She knows that he sees her as somebody he needs to be protective of, which sometimes makes her roll her eyes, but she's always grateful that no bad guys are going to come anywhere near her when he's around. In return, Lizzie helps him out with his schoolwork. Part of her wishes that he wasn't so keen on GG- which she doesn't think so highly of- or that he wasn't so quick to judge people based on their reputations but she supposes there's not much she can do about those things. Besides, it's a low price to pay in exchange for such a great friend. Her only other complaint, (and it's a lighthearted one), is that he often pesters her about wearing brighter colours but again, Tristan would likely dress the world like him if he could.
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil
(Played by por.quoi)

"He's one of the sweetest boys I've ever met; I'm not sure how anyone could not be friends with him."

As two of the nicest A Listers, their similarities drew them together. Kind, friendly, and eager to avoid being plastered all over the front page of Gossip Girl, the two of them have a considerable amount in common and she finds it easy to spend time with him. It's easy for her to be herself and even stop worrying about the many things on her plate for a moment when she's with Omar. Lizzie probably considers him to be her closest friend, even though she knows and doesn't mind that AJ is his. She's often grateful for his level-headedness, easygoing attitude, and willingness to listen to any problem, no matter how small. She finds it easier to confess in him than anybody else she knows. If something ever happened to her, good or bad, Omar would likely be the first one that she'd go to. Even though he's always trying to encourage her to live a little looser, he has her interests at heart and she is confident that he'd never push her into doing anything she didn't want to do. He's keen to help her relax too, since he thinks that she works herself too hard but it's hard for Lizzie to do so when she's under so much pressure from not just her parents, the school, and her peers but herself too. She thinks that Omar needs to put himself first, instead of focusing so much on other people's problems, and hopes that she's something of a confidant to her, like he is to her.
The Traitor | Elena Baird
(Played by Arden)

"We're good friends but I wouldn't exactly call us close friends."

While Elena and Lizzie might get along perfectly fine, they aren't particularly close friends. They'll chat to each other if they run into each other or are hanging out in the same group (as they usually are) but won't be making plans to hang out one-on-one anytime soon. This doesn't bother Lizzie too much; she knows that Elena is best friends with Audrey and has no desire to get between them. Similarly to Audrey, Lizzie is not oblivious to the fact that Elena isn't perfect and that she can even come across a little conceited at times. However, it's something that she can look past and she believes that Elena truly is the nice person that she seems to be on the surface. Plus, everybody has their flaws and she'd hate if everyone judged her purely on hers.
The Leader | James "Holden" Bradbury
(Played by varjak)

"He's the catcher in the rye and all... Get it?"

Both of them spend time in the library and they share an interest in literature. She likes that he's hardworking, smart, and has no interest in the social hierarchy- it's refreshing to have a conversation with someone that doesn't revolve around gossip or parties. He's easy to get along with and she likes spending time with him, though if she thinks too hard about it she isn't sure how well she actually knows Holden.
The Bookworm | Arianna Jamison
(Played by Beauty_Belle)

"We're quite similar in many ways. I think that's why we're so competitive."

United in their geekiness, Lizzie and Arianna used to be quite good friends. It was unsuprisingly since the pair of them spent so much time in the library, bumping into each other all the time there, that they ended up bonding over their own geekiness. The only real difference between the two of them was that Lizzie is more of a people-person, whereas Ari tended to keep more to herself. Both of them academics, both of them spending their spare time studying, and both of them keen to achieve, it's hardly surprising that their friendship ended up being quite competitive. The competition was healthy for a while but eventually, Lizzie grew bitter after Ari took her coveted top spot on a state test, showing her up (in Lizzie's eyes) and making her look stupid (in Lizzie's opinion). Not a jealous person by nature, Lizzie managed to surprise even herself in the coolness she exhibited towards Ari when congratulating her. Since then, she has seen Ari as more of a threat than a friend and their friendship has been a lot more rocky. Although Lizzie feels guilty about it, Arianna (unintentionally) made her feel like a failure and she can't help but be bitter about it. She's worried that the test result was a sign that she's beginning to slip up trying to balance everything. She's determined not to let it happen again.
The Entrepreneur | Francis Books
(Played by AI10100)

"He's cool, I guess. He's the only guy I know with pet capybaras."

Since she helped him out with a project once, they've been... Friends? Francis is a lot more interested in getting what he wants and using people to do so than necessarily making friends- he's made that pretty clear. So, Lizzie isn't sure whether she'd consider him a friend. In the past, she has used his shady dealings to get things that she's needed. Almost everyone does, after all. She's even- as much as the guilt of it makes her head ache- disclosed information to him in the past in exchange for things needed. She's only done it once or twice, only because she desperately needed something, only because she likes to give people want they want, and only because he managed to talk her round, but the guilt still eats her up. Luckily, he doesn't value information anywhere near as much as material goods.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley
(Played by jinkx)

"I mean, I get the impression she doesn't really like me."

Although they don't know each other very well, they don't really get along. It's mostly due to Ellodie because Lizzie has been nothing but nice to her, even if the girl intimidates her a little. Rarely spotted anywhere near each other, the only time they interact is when Ellodie makes snide remarks about her and puts her down for being a "know-it-all" and a "kiss ass". It's not the first time that somebody has been mean to Lizzie, since she's been a teacher's pet archtype for as long as she can remember, but she doesn't even understand why Ellodie hates her so much. As far as she knows, she's never done anything to hurt her. Luckily, Ellodie doesn't go out of her way to ruin Lizzie's life like she has done with some people- she usually just teases her verbally, if they pass each other in the corridor or see each other at a party (drunk El can be particularly bitter). More than anything, Lizzie is worried that Ellodie seems to be trying to cosy up to Omar. It's not just jealousy like people might think, she's suspicious of what Ellodie's motives are and why she suddenly wants to be friends with Omar, when she's made it clear that she hates the A Listers.
The Party Animal | Jackson Fox
(Played by Tui)

"You know what they say: opposites attract! I just wish he'd take things more seriously."

Originally, Lizzie had known him by name and appearance and they had exchanged conversation maybe once or twice. She knew about his dramatic fall from grace due to his father and felt sorry for him but hadn't thought anymore about it. If it hadn't been for Jackson drunkenly calling her one night, maybe they wouldn't have ended up being friends. She found him in a vulnerable place and was suddenly seized with sympathy for this boy she barely knew, desperate to help him. It's an unlikely friendship, since he's such a mess and she's the girl who has it all together, but they have a tendency to bring out the best in each other. Once you get past Jackson's guarded exterior, he can be very sweet and thoughtful. She's intent on helping him pick up the pieces of his life and Jackson's been trying to encourage her to chill out a little. But aside from the deep stuff, they get along well and tend to tease each other about their different personalities. The overachiever and the party animal; who'd have thought? She knows that the majority of the A Listers look down on him now that he's no longer one of them but Lizzie is closer to him now than she ever was when he was an A Lister. She just hopes their friendship doesn't cause any conflict with her other friends.
The Rebel | Luna Trevor
(Played by lauren.)

"Let's just say she really knows how to push my buttons."

Lizzie can't help but despise Luna, even though she probably wouldn't like to admit it. That girl is a master at knowing exactly how to irritate Lizzie: she's reckless, rebellious, and has no regard whatsoever for rules. Not to mention, Luna seems to get a kick out of annoying her. Despite skipping class regularly, Luna manages to still get straight As and it drives Lizzie crazy. It just doesn't seem fair that she should work so hard, only to get shown up by this girl who doesn't really care. Her humour is also so unfunny, making Lizzie more frustrated than amused, and if Lizzie was ever going to lash out at anyone, it would probably be her. At first, she was tentative about disliking her due to her being Kat's stepsister but it didn't take long for her to realise that Kat wasn't exactly the biggest fan of Luna either. It's quite impressive, really, how Luna manages to get under the skin of two very different people. Lizzie hates that Luna sees her as boring but claims that she'd rather be boring than be like her.
The Class Clown | Joseph Smith
(Played by Tui)

"I know of him... Isn't he the guy that tries to be funny?"

Lizzie doesn't know him well but she knows his reputation and she might've laughed at his antics once or twice. As long as him and his jokes don't get in the way of whatever she's doing, they're cool.
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke
(Played by cure)

"I like that she's true to herself. She doesn't pretend to be somebody she's not."

As Alaina's brother is the King Bee, it's not uncommon for her and Lizzie to run into each other. They get along well and she finds Alaina easy to talk to. Lizzie likes that Alaina is genuine, since so many of the other people she knows work so hard to keep up a front, and she suspects that Alaina might like her for similar reasons. If she had to pick one thing to dislike about Alaina, it would be her disregard for rules. As somebody who likes to stick to rules and structure, Lizzie can't comprehend why somebody would ever go against the rules unless they wanted to get into trouble. But it doesn't deter her from liking Alaina. Secretly, she envys that Alaina can drift in and out of the A List crowd whenever she wants to and that she doesn't have to work her ass off to keep her place near the top. She isn't exactly jealous but she wishes it could be that easy for her.
The Mom Friend | Emily Ferguson
(Played by Mel28)

"I don't know her all that well but she's nice to me, nice to everyone."

Lizzie might not be in the B Listers but it's hardly unknown that Emily is an incredibly sweet girl, who came from relatively (well, compared to the millionaires that attend their school) humble beginnings. Part of her can understand what it's like for Emily, as she isn't exactly royalty herself, and she knows how kind Emily is from firsthand experience. Last year, Emily found her by coincidence when Lizzie was having one of her stress nosebleeds/headaches and she looked after her, even though she didn't have to. Although her and Emily aren't close, (Emily has no interest in the busy lives of the A Listers), she's at least friendly with the girl.

Omar El-Khalil

The Sweetheart
Seventeen

A-Lister
Self-Proclaimed "Sweet Bad Boy"

The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke
(Played by BurningBridges)

"If AJ moved across the country, I'd bawl my eyes out. I couldn't imagine not having my best friend by my side all the time!"

Omar and AJ have known each other since they were little kids. First started because they played soccer together, once school came around, they'd started playing on the same in-school teams. It's simple, really. Their love of sports brought them together. They'd just started socializing because of one common interest which ultimately led to them understanding more about each other. Omar's genuine positivity mixed with AJ's likability factor made them really compatible. It was a real, strong friendship, like brothers. Sure, it might've been strained at one point, but it's all in the past. Mostly in the past. Omar wouldn't give him up for anything, that's all that matters.
The Queen Bee | Audrey Simone
(Played by A_Writer)

"She's dating AJ, what can I say? She's cool."

Considering Audrey's dating Omar's best friend, it'd be more than strange for him to talk shit about her. He could never say anything negative about her. Sure, he's witnessed and heard a few rocky things about his relationship, but it's not his place to talk on. He'd be there for both of them if they needed him for anything. Him and Audrey aren't best friends but anyone AJ wants in his life is someone Omar wants to be around. Don't ask him to say anything negative, 'cause not a single drop of venom is going to leave his mouth.
The Untouchable One | Mason-James "MJ" Fitzgerald
(Played by Colelovesrp)

"Fun! Cool. Ya know, we actually don't hang around each other that much.. kinda weird."

Omar and MJ are pretty good friends. Sort of. Omar's actually not entirely sure. Some days it seems like MJ wants to spend time with him and then other times he gets really weird vibes. He can't tell what it's about but Omar certainly has nothing bad to say about him. They get along and that's all that matters, right?
The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault
(Played by BurningBridges)

"Well, I mean, she's fashionable. But, uh, not to be rude.. I wish she kept her mouth shut more often."

Considering Kat's dad had been the one to get Omar's mom properly into the modeling world, it's no shock that the two teenagers are friends. Their families are connected. Without Mr. Arnault, Omar's mom probably wouldn't be as famous as she is for her work. So, you know, thanks to him. Kat and Omar are on really different ends of the spectrum, though. Omar doesn't talk much about other people but Kat does. Omar would let Kat rant about her own life as much as she wanted, but he's learned his lesson about telling her anything about his personal life. She's gone on to tell other people in the past, which he couldn't possibly risk again with the things he's been feeling as of late.
The Charmer | Tristan Reneaux
(Played by Maree)

"Rainbow shots all around! He's fun, ya know?"

No, Omar's never slept with Tristan. Like, never ever. Kinda surprising, kinda not surprising. Just clearing the plate right there. They are friendly though, and maybe there's some flirting here and there, but it's nothing serious. Nothing ever is with Tristan. And Omar completely recognizes that. So he's never flirted back, he's only been nice to him. Like he is with everyone else. They don't talk about their feelings, don't complain about life, they just hang out. It's fun, and it's definitely relaxing. Not to mention Tristan threw Omar's coming out party, that was certainly an experience.
The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates
(Played by jinkx)

"She's so nice, ya know? We make a good pair, obviously."

Lizzie and Omar have pretty similar personalities. Even if Lizzie's a bit more uptight, they're both really sweet, endearing people. Which makes them so good together. Their personalities don't crash at all, ever. Not to say Omar doesn't try convincing Lizzie to open up and go out more, 'cause he does, but all in good fun. He wants her to relax considering he knows how serious and stressed out she is over getting everything just right.
The Traitor | Elena Baird
(Played by Arden)

"I can't look her in the face."

If Omar's ever gonna talk bad about anyone, it's gonna be his ex. But even if he thinks negatively of her, few have heard him speak negatively about her. She won't even talk to him, she's avoided him ever since they broke up. She used him. And he hates her for it. He hates that he struggles to actively hate her, that he's willing to forgive her - after everything she did, and the way she broke his heart - it's one of the things he can't let go.
The Leader | James Bradbury

"A quote about what your character thinks of this character"

A description of their relationship. Please get creative with this! It will make everything more interesting in the long run!
The Bookworm | Arianna Jamison
(Played by Beauty_Belle)

"Is she the girl that's always in the library?"

Arianna and Omar aren't exactly friends. They don't hate each other or anything, it's just that they don't talk. They don't have a reason to, never have. They really are in their own little worlds in comparison. But obviously, the day is yet to come. People can't go forever without getting in contact with Omar, even over something little like him complimenting your shoes.
The Entrepreneur | Francis Books
(Played by AI10100)

"He's a bit of an odd one for me to be around, but I don't see why more people don't wanna be his friend."

To Omar, Francis is more than meets the eye. Sure, he could get anything he wanted when he wanted it, but he genuinely likes being friends with him. Omar doesn't use any of Francis' services, they just like to chat things up. It's shocking, really. Francis is a pretty fishy guy, normally Omar wouldn't hang around people like him but they sort of just clicked. Maybe that's just Omar being too optimistic and not facing the negatives of this young entrepreneur's lifestyle, but he doesn't want to just walk away anytime soon.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley
(Played by jinkx)

"We used to talk, I feel like we should get back in touch. But she scares me a little bit."

When they were kids, El and Omar were friends. But after everything that went down between El and the A-Listers, they just got thrown into two different worlds. Not to mention they're even more different than Omar and Kat. Like, way different. This isn't to say Omar wouldn't want to get in touch with her again, he definitely wouldn't mind, it'd just be a really weird experience for everyone, he thinks.
The Party Animal | Jackson Fox
(Played by Tui)

"Things change, people change. He'll always be important to me, though."

As kids, it had always been Jackson, AJ, and Omar. They played sports together and all around got along. But once Jackson had been permanently separated and removed from the A-Listers, considering everything that went down between Jackson and AJ's families, their relationship was strained. AJ and Omar were closer than ever but considering AJ and Jackson weren't talking anymore, it put Omar in the middle of the drama. It was hard to accept, to bounce back and forth between two of his closest friends all of the time. Especially since he refused to pick a side. He wanted to be friends with both of them no matter how complicated it was.
The Rebel | Luna Trevor
(Played by lauren.)

"A quote about what your character thinks of this character"

A description of their relationship. Please get creative with this! It will make everything more interesting in the long run!
The Class Clown | Joseph "Joey" Smith
(Played by Tui)

"Sweet, sweet relief."

Omar doesn't wanna complain about listening to other people's problems all the time, because he genuinely likes helping people and being their friend, but Joey is the only person who won't talk his ear off about their life story. He just has fun and helps keep a smile on Omar's face. They're not best friends but they don't hate each other at all. Ain't much else to say, ya know?
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke
(Played by cure)

"She's special to me. Not in, like, a weird way. Not a weird way. Did that sound weird?"

Considering Omar's been best friends with Alaina's brother since they were kids, there's an obvious friendship between them. They've known each other since the beginning of time. In an exaggerated way. Sure, their friendship was strained when Alaina and AJ's relationship grew more unsteady, but Omar would never turn his back on her. He still considers her a good friend, and she'll always keep a special place in his sweet little heart.

Ellodie Ainsley

Role: The Bully

Age: 17

Grade: 12

Clique: B List

The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke
(Played by BurningBridges)

"Ah, yes, our mighty king, observe how he sits so royally on his throne built of bullshit."

While El doesn't hate him anywhere near as much as she hates Audrey or Kat, that doesn't mean that she's a big fan of AJ. For one, he's an A Lister and for two, he's infatuated with the girl that singlehandedly ruined El's life. He was complicit in the whole outting incident too, since he totally could've stepped in at any time but never did, so she holds him just as accountable as the rest of the A Listers. She sees him as being a bit domineering, a bit Alpha Male, and she dislikes that about him. However, AJ is nowhere near the top of her dislike list and she has no desire to topple him from his throne. Plus, El knows that as long she doesn't hurt any of his friends, AJ will never step in and prevent her from putting others in their place. In a way, he's almost complicit in her bullying as well.
The Queen Bee | Audrey Simone
(Played by A_Writer)

"She's a life ruiner, she ruined my life. Fucking bitch."

El and Audrey used to be close friends when they were little. In fact, El even considered them best friends, (even if her feelings weren't returned), and now she criticises herself for being foolish enough to think so. Whenever she looks back at those times, she often wonders how she could be so stupid. Her confession about her sexuality or what she suspected it was to Audrey in middle school meant that El suddenly found herself outed and a pariah in their middle school society. People that she thought were her friends turned out to be her enemies- with Audrey taking her place at the top of that list. Audrey took her moment of vulnerability, used it to crush her, and El can never forgive her for that. Upon returning for high school, El hated Audrey more than she ever thought it was possible to hate anyone. She detests her. She also hates anyone who's friends with Audrey, as she sees them as being "on her side". And if anyone thinks that could ever change, they're kidding themselves. Audrey ruined her life.
The Untouchable One |Mason-James Fitzgerald

"An asshole but he keeps out of my way."

While Ellodie doesn't like him very much, he has some kind of respect for her and for the most part, they keep out of each other's way.
The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault
(Played by BurningBridges)

"Everything wrong with the world."

They've known each other since they were little and were even friends prior to El's outing in middle school. Unfortunately, Kat was one of the many that turned her back on her; Kat was especially hurtful towards her, saying that Ellodie was gross and spreading rumours that if any of the girls made friends with her, El would try to make a move on them. Because of what happened in middle school, El hates Katherine almost as much as she hates Audrey. It doesn't help that Kat represents pretty much everything El hates about the A Listers- pretty, stupid, spoilt, life ruining- and then some. If only they didn't keep getting assigned as partners on projects, (can't teachers think of any better methods pairing people up than alphabetical, for fuck's sake?), and getting stuck with each other. It goes about as well as you think. They're always rude to each other, always bickering, and rarely getting a good grade on any of their projects. Ellodie constantly accuses Kat of dragging her grade down, alongside everything else.
The Charmer | Tristan Reneaux
(Played by Maree)

"Thinks he's some kind of Casanova just because he can get some ass."

El doesn't think much of Tristan, who strikes her as more of a pretentious dickwad than a charming seducer. She has little time for men that everybody seems to swoon over and finds Tristan especially irritating; this may be in part due to the fact that he's openly critical of how she looks and dresses, often making remarks about her appearance. The words don't exactly hurt per say, since she doesn't really give a fuck what this stuck-up guy thinks of her, but that doesn't mean she likes hearing them. Not to mention, he's one of the 'prestigious' A Listers that she detests so much.
The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates
(Played by jinkx)

"At least she wipes those A Listers' asses before she kisses them."

Even before she became an A Lister, Lizzie was the most annoying person this side of the planet. Always keen to please, El found her generosity more cloying than kind and hated Lizzie's know-it-all attitude, always asking and answering questions in class. She was practically asking for somebody to pick on her. She also hated that Lizzie managed to jump so quickly to the top of the social hierarchy and seemingly effortlessly too, despite not having typical A Lister qualities. She doesn't know how Lizzie made it into the A List in the first place and detests the way she sucks up to all the A Listers, helping them get good grades and doing favours for them, so they'll keep her in their little clique. El envies her brains but is also pissed off at Lizzie always coming out on top in tests and finds her eagerness soooo fucking annoying. Not to mention her "friends with everyone" attitude. Whenever the opportunity comes up, El enjoys putting Lizzie in her place with some remark and likes seeing the little geek's face fall.
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil
(Played by por.quoi)

"Too nice for his own good and I'm gonna make good use of it."

Ellodie views Omar as being the weak link in the A Listers and fully intends, by the end of her senior year, to either bring him down or use him to bring somebody else down. She sees his kindness as his biggest flaw and hates the way that he always tries to be friends with everyone. It just seems so fake and needy to her. However, they used to be friends when they were younger before she became isolated from all the A Listers and most of their grade during middle school; this works in her favour, as she thinks he'll be less suspicious when she starts trying to buddy up with him again. Maybe he'll think she's seen the error of his ways? If so, his kindness is going to cost him. El sees Omar's friendliness and trusting attitude as one of his biggest flaws, as it leaves him open to her manipulation, but also sometimes wonders if he genuinely is as nice as it seems. It strikes her as being impossible that somebody could be so nice all the time, especially an A Lister.
The Traitor | Elena Baird
(Played by Arden)

"Oh, yes, Little Miss Copycat. I wonder if Audrey's had her declawed yet."

El absolutely hates Elena. She thinks it's obvious, right down to the similarities in their names, that Audrey intentionally replaced her with Elena just to rub it in her face. Why else would Audrey choose Elena as her closest friend? She doesn't exactly strike El as being "best friend" material but she is admittedly biased. El is particularly nasty to her, even compared to the other A Listers, and harbours an intense sort of grudge against the girl. Her hatred may be slightly irrational but boy, is it intense. If they ever got stuck in a small space together, El is confident only one of them would make it out alive. She's also confident that it would be her. Although El is targetting Omar this year, it would be a bonus to bring Elena down too and if she ever got her hands on anything vaguely incriminating, she'd send it to Gossip Girl before Elena could so much as blink.
The Leader | James "Holden" Bradbury
(Played by varjak)

"I don't hate him but he hangs out with losers."

She actually doesn't dislike Holden but he's fiercely loyal to his friends and chooses to waste his breath defending those losers rather than just ditching them.
The Bookworm | Arianna Jamison
(Played by Beauty_Belle)

"Geeks are supposed to be seen and not heard."

For a while, Arianna was one of her main "victims", (she certainly liked playing the victim role in El's opinion), though, really, El was just making sure she knew her place. Geeks deserve to be at the very bottom of the pecking order. From the moment they met, there was just something about Arianna that was dislikable and picking on her became an easy pasttime when El was just starting to earn her reputation as a bully. She never saw the girl cry, despite her taunting, and almost respects her for that; the key word being almost. Although El has since moved on to bigger and better things, she can't resist making remarks about Arianna now and then. After all, she does bring it on herself; nobody likes a fucking loser.
The Entrepreneur | Francis Books
(Played by AI10100)

"He thinks too highly of himself; he's basically a glorified dealer."

It's common knowledge that Francis can get you pretty much anything you want if you're willing to pay the price for it and El is a returning customer. Having the money and the motivation to deal with him means that she helps keep him in business- not to mention, he's helped her out plenty of times. Everything from drugs to grades, Francis has managed to sort for her in the past and she sees him as a reliable source. Plus, Francis only wants her money, not any kind of connection with her. She regards him as cool, for supplying what she needs, but would never classify him as a friend. Another bonus is that for a high enough price, Francis can get her inside information on certain people and it's a price she's been more than willing to pay in order to damage people's reputations in the past.

The Party Animal | Jackson Fox
(Played by Tui)

"You know what? I've met worse. Shame he's fucked."

A few times in the past, they've run into each other at parties (usually drunk) but El doesn't think too badly of him. Obviously, he's a mess but that doesn't mean she can't like him. She doesn't know much about him, only that he's probably fucked and might as well have a good time while he can. She's aware that he got kicked from the A Listers, just like she did, which means that she considers them to be in the same boat. A sinking boat, probably.
The Rebel | Luna Trevor
(Played by lauren.)

"That bitch is crazy, I love her."

It shouldn't really surprise anybody that the pair of them get along like a house on fire. Genuinely one of the only people that El likes, Luna has a strikingly similar sense of humour (maybe a little darker) and she makes the kind of jokes that most people are too pussy to make. Luna's always looking to have a good time, which El can appreciate, and they often hang out together. Luna is never judgemental, not like those fucking A Listers, and El gets the impression that she accepts her for who she truly is. Also, Luna never sugarcoats things, which is something El loves about her, and she's always willing to tell people exactly what the score is. El thinks of her as her closest friend.
The Class Clown | Joseph Smith
(Played by Tui)

"I know him, he's the one that's funny to make up for his lack of personality."

Sometimes she finds him funny, sometimes she reckons he tries too hard. There's a difference between funny and just being stupid, after all.
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke
(Played by cure)

"God, I can't stand people like that."

Initially, returning after middle school, El thought that Alaina was one of the A Listers and detested her for it. Upon realising that she wasn't, in fact, an A Lister but still got to hang around with them, El became secretly jealous of her. How come Alaina got to reject the principles of being an A Lister but still got to be an honourary member, whereas El made one mistaken confession and had been banished for life? Just because her brother was one of them? That seemed unfair. Whenever she runs into Alaina, she always makes a point to ignore her and is only rude about her behind her back. After all, she wouldn't want AJ on her back if he found out that she was being mean to his precious twin. There are some things she admires about Alaina, such as her rejection of authority and the fact she doesn't care what anyone thinks of her, but she's too bitter to ever admit it.
The Mom Friend | Emily Ferguson
(Played by Mel28)

"I wasn't aware you could be awarded a scholarship for being a fucking loser."

Although El has little interest in Emily, she can't help sneering at the girl's kindness towards others (wasting your fucking time, Ferguson) and reminding her that no matter what she does, she'll never belong at Constance. After all, nobody likes a loser. She doesn't understand why the girl is so intent on helping others, when it doesn't benefit her in the slightest, and why she would even bother. As far as El sees it, the only reason that anyone would ever want to hang out with Emily is out of pity and the only time she ever interacts with the girl is to insult her. If anything, Emily is lucky that El has so little interest in her, otherwise she probably would've found a way to ruin her life by now.

Arianna Jamison - The Bookworm
The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke
(Played by BurningBridges)

"Who? Oh, yeah. The "King"."

AJ and Arianna haven't had much interaction, considering they weren't friends before he went to another school and don't see each other on a daily basis now. Anything can happen, but Ari might have to hear his name a couple times before she actually can put a face to his name.
The Queen Bee | Audrey Camille Simone
(played by A_writer)

"I don't know her."

Although they do know each other, from back in Ari's modeling days. Preferring to leave that time in her life completely behind, Arianna pretends she doesn't know her. When they pass each other in the halls, Arianna makes sure not to look at her. They're not rude to each other, just... disinterested.
The Untouchable One

"A quote about what your character thinks of this character"

A description of their relationship. Please get creative with this! It will make everything more interesting in the long run!
The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault
(Played by BurningBridges)

"She cheated off my test once. I almost got the answers wrong on purpose."

Since they're not really in the same social group, they don't interact much. Arianna might have gotten the wrong impression of her when she tried to cheat off of one of Ari's tests, and she was tempted to bomb just because. But since failing on purpose is not in her nature, she just shifted her arm and did everything she could to make it harder on Kat.
The Charmer | Tristan Reneaux
(played by Maree)

"I swear, he can never get his homework done on time."

Arianna and Tristan have one of those relationships where you wouldn't expect them to be friends, but they are. Or they're at least on friendly terms. Arianna helps him out with his homework and other assignments, while he generally just sits back and half asses his work (in her opinion), preferring to flirt instead. Ari is human and can't deny that she loves the attention he showers her with when they're together, but she wouldn't ever believe they could be anything more than homework friends.
The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates
(Played by jinkx)

"I guess you could say we used to be friends. Now... I'm not so sure."

Arianna and Elizabeth have always had a rather odd friendship. Though Arianna wouldn't describe it as rocky, perhaps it always was. There was friendly competition there, sure, but that's the key word: friendly. A few months back, though, Arianna beat out Elizabeth's score on an important state test, and ever since then, Elizabeth has been tense and their friendship hasn't really seemed like one at all. Arianna can sense that something isn't right, and she knows its the score, but she has no idea how to fix it.
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil
(Played by por.quoi)

"The few times we've interacted he seems really nice. But we don't really have much in common."

Arianna and Omar don't really have much in common, that's correct. They have interacted a few times in the past, and Arianna has no ill will against him, she just thinks he's a little too much for her. While she'd rather be reading a book or doing her homework, he'd rather be out and about with friends. Truthfully, Arianna doesn't get the appeal.
The Traitor | Elena Baird
(played by Arden)

"She doesn't like me, I don't like her, it works out best that way."

Ari and Elena have known each other since they were younger, since Elena and Audrey are bffs. Back in Ari's modeling days, the girls would play makeup, play dressup, and have countless sleepovers and fun times together. Arianna gave up that life and any potential she had as an A-lister when she gave up modeling, and she's okay with that. Elena is not, and she made sure Ari knew that.
The Leader

"Someone's gotta take care of him."

Another surprise type of friendship for Ari; she and Holden are actually quite close. They saw each other at the library quite frequently before actually working together and becoming friends. Things were pretty calm until Ari saw him get into a fight, and saw his world quite literally get rocked. She, who has never been in a physical fight in her lifetime, was terrified and ran straight into the fray to check on him. Even afterwards, sitting there with ice pressed to his face, she made sure to tell him how dumb he was for fighting-- but that she was glad he was okay.
The Entrepreneur | Francis
(Played by Al10100)

"Probably the closest thing I have to a... best friend?"

Ari and Francis have a sort of... odd friendship. It surprises some people to know that they are, in fact, fairly close. They met by accident, in the library, when Ari went to check out a copy of a book he'd read previously. They got to talking, and over time, he started to become her way of getting first editions, signed copies, or tickets to events that had sold out. It surprised her, too, but she is human after all, and does crave companionship and friendship.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley
(Played by jinkx)

"I don't know what I did to make her hate me. But it's whatever."

Back in the beginning of high school, Arianna was a constant target of Ellodie's. Arianna never really understood what she did to make the girl hate her so much, and she tried to just stay out of her way. But it would seem that the bully has ways of seeking out those she bullies, and she always found Ari. Arianna refused to cry in front of her, but there were a few times where she would end up in the bathroom or even in a deserted classroom, glasses off while she rubbed at her eyes to keep the tears from escaping. Words are just words, and while Arianna knows that, she also knows that they can hurt.
The Party Animal | Jackson Fox
(Played by Tui)

"He dated my sister. What else is there to say?"

Arianna knew of Jackson before he started to date her sister, but it wasn't until the two of them were official that Arianna saw him more often. He and Tara were always together, but it didn't take long before Tara got bored. Jackson was younger than her, and even though to some age is nothing but a number, Tara was looking for someone older and more sophisticated. But instead of breaking up with Jackson, Tara led him on for months. The poor guy had no idea just how terrible of a person Tara really was. When Tara started cheating on Jackson, Arianna confronted her, telling her that she needed to tell him. Jackson happened to walk in on one of those conversations, and shit hit the fan. A couple weeks later, Jackson showed up to get his things from the house and he was tipsy. He made a move on Arianna, but she quickly shut him down. Things are still somewhat awkward between them.

"She's wild and free, like a bird. I almost wish... no, nevermind."

Arianna holds no ill will against alot of people in her school, Alaina included. Although Arianna and Alaina have never been what you would consider close, Arianna doesn't hate her. In fact, there's a small part of her that wishes she could be more like Alaina, although she's buried that thought so far beneath other things that it would take some serious digging to get it out. What she does know is that Alaina's free spirited-ness rubs her the wrong way, but she doesn't know why. A wrong impression, maybe? Arianna hasn't really taken the time to sit down and think of why she feels that way.

Francis Damian Books

Role: The Entrepreneur

Age: 18

Grade: 12

Clique: B-List

The King Bee | Austin "AJ" Clarke
(Played by BurningBridges)

"Cool dude. Don't talk to him very much but he pays."

Francis and AJ, like most A-Listers, have more of a business relationship than anything personal. He provides AJ with the test answers that he needs and he provides him with money. Though they do acknowledge each other when they pass by in an effort to keep that friendly feeling between them - but definitely doesn't show anything beyond mere acquaintances who know each other because of their respective reputations. Francis doesn't really view him as anything much and doesn't really care if AJ just sees him as a provider of answers. In the end, it's still a win-win situation for him.
The Queen Bee | Audrey Simone
(Played by A_Writer)

"She's the top dog. She's virtually immune to anything and everything. I'm inclined to think that she may actually be perfect. Disappointing really."

While he would never say it out loud, Francis does believe that she's untouchable and he's terrified of that fact. Not once in her entire life did she ever approach him for anything - not even the hard to get things. Francis knows Audrey has her own personal army to gather information. Audrey's web is stronger within the school - way stronger than his own. Francis does his best to stay outside of her field of vision. It's safer to never be associated with her after all. He does often wonder if she knows that her best friend is a regular customer of his or that most of her group comes to him every now and then under everybody's noses but he never pried. What goes on in their personal lives isn't his problem. Up until, of course, it does. He fears this day would come. Fighting the Queen Bee equates to suicide after all.
The Untouchable One | Mason-James Fitzgerald

"Another customer and like the others, we don't talk much outside."

Yet another example of a strictly business relationship with an A-Lister and it was something Francis, once more, doesn't really mind. They're acquaintances at best outside their business. Though it might seem like there is some potential where they'd actually become friends but that remains in the future.
The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault
(Played by BurningBridges)

"She's... an interesting one to say the least."

Katherine's personal supplier of Adderalls, Francis gets a lot of money from her constant need for it. He never questioned why she needs a large amount of them as opposed to other students but he doesn't delve too much into her problem. It wasn't his business after all but he stresses the fact that she could talk to him about it. He can't have her overdosing now can he? Outside of their business meetings, they give each other the cold shoulder at the request of Katherine and he was willing to respect her decision to not be seen being acquainted with him. They mostly arrange where to deal through text and calls to keep it top secret.
The Charmer | Tristan Reneaux

"One of the few who has access to more... exclusive things."

Francis has given Tristan special privileges in his business - though that's mostly because he yearns for more and he's a loyal customer. He sometimes gets discounts when he's buying a bulk or when Tristan manages to talk his way through Francis and he sees no loss from it. Francis also makes sure that Tristan knows that he has gotten the test answers first before telling anyone else unless they have specifically asked. They have a good business relationship going on but a superficial relationship outside. The two do exchange greetings when they pass by each other but never really going into any conversations.
The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates
(Played by jinkx)

"She's an honest and kind girl. Can't have enough of those I suppose. In any case, she scratches my back, I scratch hers."

One of the few people Francis actually admires. What she needs aside, he finds that Elizabeth is just as hardworking and ambitious as he is - though she's more focused on school work and he's more focused on his... less legal activities. Their friendship started when Francis sought out her help for a project after hearing about her skills through the grapevine of their middle schools. She had been more than willing to help him out and he offered his services to her - and not just his regular ones. As a fellow top student, he would go out of his way to help her out, not that he'll ever admit that he's stopped doing something if she rang him up for help. She rarely does anyway. In any case, he provides Elizabeth's fake IDs and invitations when she can't get away with her looks (which is most of the time, much to his amusement).
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil
(Played by por.quoi)

"An A-lister who befriends everyone and anyone who keeps on smiling and being there for his friends? Now that's not something you see everyday."

Omar is friends with everyone in both schools, so don't be surprised when Francis is friends with him too. Though they aren't usually seen together thanks to their different social cliques but the guy is willing to strike up a conversation with Francis if it's just the two of them. Francis isn't quite sure what he makes of Omar's tendency to make friends with everyone, a complete opposite of what he does. Nevertheless, he is willing to provide Omar with anything he wishes... though so far, the man hasn't given any indication of being a regular customer for drugs.
The Traitor | Elena Baird
(Played by Arden)

"She provides me with customers. What better client can I hope for?"

Francis wouldn't say he has a complicated relationship with Elena. She's a customer and he's a provider. Hell, he would even go as far as saying she's her favorite client if he could. But of course, he can't disclose any of their dealings to the public so he keeps that to himself. One of the reasons why she's her favorite is his tendency to point customers to his direction after she's sure that they won't drop his name to the local authorities and ruin everything for him and everyone else. Francis would consider them friends that don't talk unless they're absolutely alone. They sometimes hang out together after a business dealing to talk about random stuff - usually so Elena could vent if she wanted while she smoked. He isn't quite sure what Elena sees their relationship as and frankly, he doesn't really care. They're in good standings as far as he's concerned.
The Leader | James Bradburry
(Played by varjak)

"Lately, James hasn't been taking up any drugs but it looks like he's making an effort at school. It is odd how he's still asking for party invitations but that's none of my business now is it?"

Francis and James are on relatively good terms though they were understandably friendlier back then than right now. Francis doesn't hold a grudge against James when he started to stop buying drugs from him and has offered to even tutor James if he wanted. He remains none the wiser to James and Audrey's secret relationship but he is James' ticket to get into various parties throughout the summer. They're still on good terms though.
The Bookworm | Arianna Jamison
(Played by Beauty_Belle)

"There are few people I would fight for. Arianna is one of them."

Arianna may as well be the closest thing he has to an actual friend and he hasn't exactly realized why he feels strongly for her more than others. In any case, the close bond between Francis and Arianna has been getting odd looks and weird rumors but nothing ever came out of it. He vaguely remembered how they met - and his only intention was to befriend her so that he can perhaps coax some information about projects out of her. The longer they interacted with each other, the more confused Francis felt about her usefulness. In the end, he tries to justify to himself that he keeps her around because she is still a client who buys things from him. In the end, however, the word friend easily slips his mouth when asked to describe her. She is also one of the few who he allows to call him 'Dami' should she choose to.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley
(Played by jinkx)

"She's one of my main clients. While I rarely dabble in information exchanges, she is more than willing to pay exuberant amounts of money to get them."

Francis and Ellodie meet up more often in hidden locations rather than out in the open. Their relationship outside of exchanging money and items is nearly non-existent. He finds her willingness to spend money a bit refreshing for his own sake since he could bump up his prices and she would still be willing to pay as long as she really wants it. He does find it a bit worrying that what she looks for beyond drugs and grades is information against his other clients. It's one of the reasons why he tacks so much money onto her requests - because he needs to make sure that it's worth it to provide said information. However, there are times when he doesn't accept her requests when things are too hot or if she requests information on certain people that he can't get any dirt on.
The Party Animal | Jackson Fox
(Played by Tui)

"Oh Jackson, how far has he fallen."

Having been one of Francis' most paying clients, he was the favorite before Elena. He buys the most expensive things at the oddest of times. Sometimes, it was the occasional alcohol that you normally wouldn't be able to afford or even have access to. Sometimes, there were tickets for sold-out concerts and shows. Sometimes it's all of them at the same time. For the longest of times, Jackson was his main client in nearly everything. Perhaps it's because Jackson is big on romantic gestures which end up with him blowing money for every single girlfriend he had, but Francis wasn't complaining. In fact, he was celebrating. He made a mistake of trusting Jackson and allowed him to accumulate a rather large debt that he promised to pay off by the next month. However unfortunate it is, that was when his father was sent to jail and his money now practically non-existent. Francis cornered him one day to discuss how his payment would work and gave Jackson another chance. Instead of money, he will pay in manual labor. Francis often uses him as a runner for dealings he doesn't want to bother actually being present at - especially if it's just simple drop-offs and pickups. They wouldn't be called friends but they act amicable enough around each other most of the time.
The Rebel | Luna Trevor
(Played by lauren)

"She's like a test subject for new drugs. Kidding. Kidding. She's a cool gal who I don't mind hanging around even when she's high."

Francis provides her with drugs and she provides him with money - but what makes it enjoyable for him is the fact that she's wild. He needs a little excitement too every now and then and finding Luna is the best way to get that excitement. Her excitement often rubs on him every now and then so he doesn't mind hanging out with her. He also appreciates the amount of dark humor and sarcasm she can belt out when they hang around so that's a plus too. Francis is more than happy to provide Luna with anything she needs for her pranking escapades against her stepsister - not that he'll ever tell Katherine about that of course.
The Class Clown | Joseph Smith
(played by Tui)

"He's a funny guy and he always takes the attention. Always."

Francis always found the guy to be funny and lighthearted - and he was completely okay with it. In fact, Francis was always glad to have Joseph around for more reasons than just his funny nature. He found it rather refreshing to have him around. Besides, he took attention away from Francis since most people are more interested in him. While he would never say it out loud, the last reason is the main reason he chooses to hang around Joseph outside of classes. The two consider each other as friends.
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke
(Played by cure)

"She's... certainly something. I don't know what but as long as she pays, it's fine."

Francis has mixed feelings about Alaina. On one hand, she paid on time and is actually a really nice client who never goes back on her word. On the other hand, she's irritating because of how openly she takes a jab at him. Francis knows that she doesn't like him very much nor does she trust him and he feels inclined to give a bit of the coldness back at her - but they aren't openly hostile to one another. They engage in banter - whether playful or not remains to be judged by the one who hears them. He tries to keep a sort of distance between them because he finds her getting dangerously close to something he doesn't understand himself. What would happen to them and their unsure relationship would remain to be seen in the future.
The Mom Friend | Emily Ferguson
(Played by Mel28)

"I've known her since I was a kid. I guess that's why I haven't cut her off yet."

Francis has known Emily since they were kids. While Emily wasn't as rich as everyone else, the two actually hit it off when they were kids. Though, of course, he rarely invited her to his home mostly because of his mother who isn't quite as appreciative of the poor... or rather, the poorer. As he grew up, Emily might as well been a constant presence in his life as he grew up. He has kept his mouth shut about her being in the middle-class and just in school because of a scholarship. He finds no reason to hang this above her head since it was ultimately of no use to him. She isn't a client or anything of the sorts. Much like with Arianna, he feels a strange connection with her but brushes it off as simply because he knows her from way back.

Audrey Simone

Clique: A-list
Role: Queen Bee
Age: 17
Hex Code: #e75480

The King Bee | AJ Clarke

"Mine. Hands off."

On the outside, Audrey and AJ have the perfect relationship. They're both attractive, popular, and destined for success thanks to their families. For a while, they were happy together. Really happy. Audrey never saw herself as being the kind of girl who needed a boyfriend to feel validated, but her relationship with AJ wasn't always just a show. She really loved him. They've been dating since freshman year, and she lost her virginity to him, so he means a lot to her. The downfall of their relationship can be blamed on both of them (though Audrey isn't willing to accept any blame for it). It started last winter/spring, when they began to fight far more often than they used to. Then, in the spring, AJ revealed to her that he had cheated on her. He lied about who it was with, though Audrey is unaware of that. Never to be one-upped (and in an attempt to hurt him more than he hurt her), Audrey returned the favor by sleeping with Holden (though she too lied about who she had cheated with when she told AJ). Unlike AJ though, Audrey continued to sleep with Holden. She still loves AJ and to everyone else, it seems like they're the perfect couple. She wishes she could go back to that being the reality of things, but she doesn't know if they're too far gone to get back what they had. Nevertheless, they both know that abandoning this relationship socially would damage their relationships, so for now, Audrey is still doing a good job at keeping up the act, even to her closest friends.
The Drama Queen | Katherine Arnault

"Dramatic or not, Kat is my best friend. If someone comes for her, I take it as a personal attack and respond accordingly."

A lot of people see Kat as being a mindless follower of Audrey's, and they're right about Katherine being loyal. She isn't mindless, and she isn't a follower though, if you ask Audrey. Kat is just Audrey's oldest friend, and closest one too. They grew up together and were essentially sisters as children. Katherine is flighty and brainless, and a weak link in terms of emotional stability, so their friendship has always really consisted of Audrey being in control and calling the shots, and Kat going with the flow. That's not to say that Katherine always accepts Audrey's decisions, because even if she isn't technically an only child, Kat has more of an only child complex in terms of needing to get her way than any true only child that Audrey knows. She's a sweet, sensitive, and vibrant friend, and one of the few that Audrey would destroy for if everyone came for her.
The Overachiever | Elizabeth Bates

"Intelligence is admirable."

You're judged by the company you keep. Audrey's parents reminded her of that many times throughout her youth and as she rose to social power, she understood what it meant even more. She knew that it was important to surround herself with strong people. Lizzie may have been an unconvential addition to her crew, but after requesting that she work on a group project with her (to eliminate the chance of her joining another group and potentially beating her group grade-wise), Audrey took a liking to the girl. Her intelligence goes unmatched but even beyond that, her desire to be the best is stronger than Audrey has seen in others. As a perfectionist herself, it was a trait in Lizzie that she recognized and admired, and they have been good friends since then.

The Rebel | Luna Trevor

"I think she's kind of trashy and it's shameful, really, since Kat's tied to her through the marriage of their parents."

Audrey doesn't blame Katherine for wanting to keep her distance from her stepsister. She doesn't know Luna in a very personal manner, outside of having mutual classes with her and seeing for herself how careless and obnoxious Luna can be, but she knows enough to know that she isn't her cup of tea. Audrey pities people who crave attention so badly that they're willing to act so recklessly to get it.
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke

"Alaina is AJ's sister."

That's exactly how she would describe Alaina, because her relationship with AJ is what defines their own relationship. If Alaina was just any other B-lister, she would be dismissed and/or put in her place very quickly. As the sister to her boyfriend, though, Audrey is more careful when it comes to her. In her eyes, showing her mercy is a display of kindness. A favor, if you will. In reality, it's probably just as condescending as the narrative that Alaina attaches to Audrey and her friends. Regardless, however, Audrey bites her tongue when ti comes to Alaina's personality, at least when she's in a situation that involves AJ or his family. At school, she's definitely more comfortable with treating Alaina like the inferior that she is, but even still, she restrains herself because she knows that it would be peculiar and image-damning to be truly nasty to the sister of her longtime boyfriend.
The Entrepreneur | Francis Books

"What he does to stay relevant is unappealing, but it doesn't affect me, so I have no reason to interfere with it."

Audrey knows that some of the A-listers use Francis to indulge in their guilty pleasures. She's aware that AJ and some of his friends use him for drugs some times. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, she's willing to turn a blind eye to that. However, if she ever found out that Francis was fueling Kat's eating disorder (whether he knew it or not), or that he was giving any of her female friends drugs or anything harmful, she was ensure that she received his head on a stick within 24 hours, no questions asked.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley

"It's not my fault that everyone decided that she was a freak. She likes to act political, like we're all homophobic or something. No... she was just weird. Sorry, not sorry."

At one point, these girls were very close friends. They were kids, though. Kids that didn't know any better. In truth, there was no moment in time when Audrey decided that she didn't want to be friends with Ellodie anymore. Ellodie hadn't done anything wrong to her, and Audrey isn't homophobic. She would never disown someone for being gay (at least now, outside of that preteen phase where being an asshole is cool), but back then, she was just beginning to recognize the true extent of the social power that she held. Outing Ellodie was sort of a test to that power. She wanted to see how quickly people would agree with her on something and turn against someone that they had loved just the day before. So, she outed Ellodie shortly after she confided in her about her sexuality. It was downright cruel, and a part of Audrey is aware of that, but nowadays, she prefers to spin the narrative into Ellodie being a loser obsessed with revenge for no reason. In her version of events, everyone turned against Ellodie by their own will and thoughts, and not because she outed her.

The Traitor | Elena Baird

"I had my doubts, but Elena is a good friend. She's loyal, reliable, and nice."

Elena seemed to have to put in a bit more effort than others to get into their clique, but she made it. The perseverance was admirable. Audrey appreciates people who know what they want and won't stop until they have it. She's unaware that Elena still isn't satisfied with where she stands socially, and wants more, but that's a whole other story. This summer when Katherine went MIA with no warning, Elena stepped in as her right hand man and though Audrey may have had her doubts at first about how enjoyable the summer would be, she actually grew much closer to Elena than she expected over the past few months.

The Party Animal | Jackson Fox

"The universe has a way of bringing people's true colors to light eventually."

Growing up, Audrey was friendly with Jackson because he fit in with their clique. He wasn't how he was now. Even if his personality was still the same though, she would have very little desire to associate with him. It's one thing to go broke. With so many people in their world reliant on the stock market, bad things like that happens to those who aren't careful. It's an entirely different thing, though, to be arrested and have your family name ruined. Jackson got unlucky that his father got caught (because Audrey knows that there are probably countless people who do similar things and get away with it), but given how he reacted to this situation, she feels like it was probably meant to be. It showed how crazy he truly was underneath the guise of being normal and fitting in, and she's happy that he's out of their circle now.
The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil

"He's kind of hard not to like. Even I don't have anything bad to say about him."

Audrey is picky about the people that she surrounds herself with, and she can usually even come up with a complaint about those closest to her. It's hard to pick out any flaws about Omar, though. He's truly a nice guy with nice intentions. If she had to criticize him for something, it would be that he seems like a sheep in a world of wolves, soon to be devoured due to a lack of strength, but she knows he's not as vulnerable as his kindness sometimes makes him seem. As AJ's best friend, she spends more time with Omar than she would otherwise, and she has no qualms about that.
The Bookworm | Arianna Jamison

"Irrelevant."

She's not on Audrey's radar, whatsoever. Years ago when they were younger, she hung out with the girl ocassionally because she seemed to cling to Kat for a short period of time (unbeknowst to her, that was only due to Arianna's mother's insistence). She seemed to lose interest at some point and Audrey isn't complaining about that, because she didn't find the girl to be very fascinating anyway.

"Pretentious isn't a pretty look even on the pretty girls."

The whole concept of the social ladder is gross if you ask Luna. Audrey loves it, of course, because it benefits her and gives her power. Luna thinks it's silly that people bow down to Audrey. She's pretty and Luna gets a kick out of how good she is at controlling her emotions and acting like an emotionless bitch, but Audrey isn't a good person and Luna is aware of that. She doesn't kiss her feet like most girls at the school, that's for sure.

"Can you imagine having such shitty karma that you get paired with this one as your stepsister?"

Katherine's the last person that anyone would want to be told is going to be their new stepsister. It's not even just because she's so annoying, but because she's so fucking dramatic on top of that. Luckily, after being turned off and offended by it for a while, Luna now realizes that it's funnier than anything else. The way that it's so easy to get under Katherine's skin provides her with an endless supply of opportunities for a laugh. Kat is the epitome of being disgustingly rich and out of touch with reality because of it. Somehow though, even if Luna would never admit it, the girl is sometimes lovable. Maybe it's a love that stems from pity because she thinks Kat is just that dumb, but something about her warrants Luna to feel like she needs to be protected. Sometimes. Most of the time she deserves the criticism that she gets, but after five years, Luna feels like they are family to some extent, so it does make her a bit uncomfortable when people lay into Kat unnecessarily.

"So. Fucking. Laaaaaaaaaaaame."

Luna thinks that this girl really needs to take the stick out of her ass. She's uptight and boring, and not hot enough for such a bland, goody-two-shoes personality to do much for her. Maybe she'd be more fun drunk. Or on coke. Luna likes to push her buttons and never hesitates to let her know that if she wants to try out either of them, Luna would be happy to show her a good time.

"Have you ever seen 'Leprachaun in the Hood'? If you haven't, take my advice and do not watch it on shrooms. You will trip the fuck out and have nightmares for the rest of your life. Anyway, like they say in it, a friend with weed, is a friend indeed."

Francis supplies Luna with an unhealthy amount of weed, and any other drugs she wants to play with when she's feeling extra adventurous. They're friends outside of business purposes and Luna thinks that he's a lot of fun.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley
(Played by jinkx)

"People are so fucking sensitive, man."

Ellodie probably is the textbook definition of a bully, but if you asked Luna, she would tell you that so many people hate Ellodie simply because they're too soft. They need to grow some skin and either learn how to take a joke, or learn how to throw a punch. Sulking in the corner doesn't solve anything. Luna doesn't bully anyone herself, at least not in the way that Ellodie does. She likes to push people's buttons for a laugh, and she realizes that Ellodie's behavior is different than hers, but that's not her moral battle to fight. All she cares about is that Ellodie is a good time and keeps it real. They're really good friends and Luna doesn't see that changing any time soon.

"What a babeee."

A friendship that initially stemmed over them bonding over having obnoxiously popular siblings (or step sibling in Luna's case) has transpired into a best friend situation. Alaina might need a little extra push now and then to really live a little, but her being a bit tamer than Luna actually balances out their friendship. They both couldn't care less about not being deemed as being worthy of a spot in the A-list clique, and always have fun (and manage to get into trouble) when they're together, so Luna loves her.

Emily and AJ aren't close in fact she is pretty sure he doesn't know about her existence, while she knows who he is. Well, who wouldn't know about him if he is the King Bee there's no way he would bother in talking with a middle-class girl like Emily, she is just too mundane so he would bother to notice that she is there in the first place.

Emily knows about her and how is she the embodiment of a rich girl that wouldn't have to worry about anything in her life, she is pretty sure Katherine doesn't even know that Emily exists even if they have been classmates every year.

"I have known him since we were kids, he is the only one I can call a friend in this jungle of rich kids"

Emily and Francis have known each other since they were kids, and somehow they became friends despite he coming from a wealthy family and her coming from a middle-class family. Somehow he didn't mind about her social status and talked to her like if tons of zeros on the bank account of her parents were relatively close to his family. He was the only one that didn't think of her as the poor kid with a scholarship and he has kept the secret after all these years and she couldn't be more grateful for that. Even if she doesn't approve of his business at school she is the only person she can completely trust and that knew that it wouldn't hurt her.

While Emily tries to help everyone the purpose of the life of Ellodie is to make everyone's life as horrible as possible and Emily is part of them although Ellodie is not that interested in Emily to make her life a living hell. Maybe is because the fact that she is a loser in Ellodie's words and no one would bother to waste their time with her.

"Yeah, Omar is a friend, I like hanging out with him"

MJ and Joey really only know eachother because of their mutual friend Francis. Joey enjoys his company every now and then but he doesn't really know him very well. What Joey doesn't know is that he has an inkling about Joey's biggest secret.

"It's terrifying how much he captivates me"

Tristan first started interacting with Joey when he discovered him drawing up fashion concepts in the art room after school one day. Since then, they two became quite good friends, bonding over there mutual hobby. There is also quite a lot of sexual tension between the two of them, and Tristan seems to be gently urging Joey to accept himself. Joey feels both captivated and vulnerable around Tristan. And although Tristan is out himself and would never flirt with him in public until he was also out, Joey feels himself slowly giving in. Hopefully he doesn't regret

"Yeah Francis is a good dude"

Fransis and Jackson are school friends and they hang out together a lot, usually with Emily as well. They enjoy each others company and would both consider the other a friend. Joey likes that Fransis minds his business and wont push him for info, and of course, Joey will do the same thing, not really asking too many questions about his somewhat dodgy dealings.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley

"She's got issues like me, but I make people laugh, she does the opposite"

El isn't really Joey's favorite person. She especially irks him when she tries to pick on others, and she is one of the few people that can actually make him angry. Although the two of them don't talk, and she doesn't really target him, he can tell that she has been through something bad like him. In his opinion, no one bullies for the hell of it, rather they do it as a form of self-preservation. The bully doesn't usually get bullied after all. Unfortunatly for her, a good friend of Joey's is one of her targets so she isn't getting any empathy from him at any point.

Joey only really knows of him. They havn't really had much interaction. His friend works with him and he's got a pretty dodgy reputation, that's about all he really knows about Jackson. Often she is the target of bullies so Joey will try his best to diffuse bad situations and protect her. He's not exactly known for being threatening or confronting though, plus obviously most of this happens at her school, but he tries.
The Rebel

"Ellodie's crazy friend, Queen of the Dares"

The Mum Friend| Emily Ferguson

"Oh She's lovely, but she worries too much!"

Emily and Joey are school friends, they hang out together a lot, usually with Fransis as well. He really likes her, he thinks she's a great person, and he's trying to get past his own issues and let her into his life more, but it's difficult for him. Still, he really cares for her and would go out of his way to help her with anything.
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke
(Played by cure)

"She's nice to me"

To Joe, Alania seems like a pretty good person, he barely knows her but they will sometimes say hi to eachother if they happen to bump into one another.

The Charmer | Tristan Reneaux

"He's the best friend a guy like me could ever ask for"

Friends since Elementary school, MJ and Tristan meet around the same time as their guy group did. Despite having different personalities they instantly bonded. MJ can count on coming to his friend for any issue he may be facing, the same goes for Tristan. Although they don't always agree on everything, they've never had a serious fight that caused them to go days without talking. He'll always have his back no matter what.

The Sweetheart | Omar El-Khalil
"Wished I could man up and actually have a conversation with him. "

MJ has known Omar since grade school, they almost immediately became friends, MJ has always had an interest for the guy. He wouldn't admit it to others and sometimes himself that he has a major crush on the guy. Somedays he's able to sit down and have a whole conversation with Omar and other days he shrinks into himself, choosing to listen to Omar, watch him interact with others, for someone who's untouchable and could care less what people think about him. He finds himself wondering what Omar thinks about him, even nervous whenever he's alone with him for too long. Somewhere deep down he knows if they dated MJ would change his ways to look better in Omar's eyes. So the idea of gossip girl or anyone else knowing about this actually scares him.
The Traitor | Elena Baird

"The last pea in our pod, I'd die for her"

Like Tristan, MJ cares for Elena a whole lot. He'd fight anyone who attempts to cause her harm or threatens her. Between her and Tristan they're the two people he truly trusts and can count on to have his back. They've slept around with each other occasionally but nothing serious, she knows how to enjoy herself and have fun and he loves that about her.

The Entrepreneur | Francis Books
"He gets me what I want, I give him what he wants"

They're not close, they only have a business relationship. But the dude is cool and would be nice to hang out with.
The Bully | Ellodie Ainsley
"Ah what an interesting character she is"

Honestly, I find the way she treats others entertaining, she's not one to back down to anyone and livens the place up whenever she attacks the pretty girls of the school, well at least for me.
The Party Animal | Jackson Fox
"We were cool, then his pops got locked up and now we're not...simple as that."

Honestly, Jackson and MJ we're extremely cool back before his mom helped put Jackson's dad away. They often went to the same parties and always had a great time together, honestly, the guy is cool. He knows how to liven up the room, but as stated his mom putting the guys pops away complicates things. Now they can barely stand each other as Jackson has fallen from the good grace of most of their friends. There's also the fact that Jackson sound thinks he can talk to MJ however he likes and not face the consequences, well he's in for a rude awakening.

The Class Clown | Joseph Smith

"Funny guy, I know what his going through"

They're not at all close in any way, hell they barely know of each other but with Tristian being MJ's best friend, and Joey being close with Tristian well they at least know that the other exists. Well, Joey is also pretty hilarious so MJ would know of his existence. Other than that they do have something in common, both chase for something seemly unable to attain. Well, he bid the guy good luck on getting Tristian because his chances are better than MJ's.
The Free Spirit | Alaina Clarke
"Haha oh Alaina"

MJ knows Alaina despises him, he's always found her interesting but knows not to cross that line. There are many other fishes in the pond, so, for now, he'll attempt to be friendly if she lets him.
King Bee | AJ Clarke
"Love the dude, understand why he's king bee, hate it but I understand"

Like most A-listers, MJ and AJ are friends, not close but they at least have a bond from being teammates and being in the same cliches. It would be safe to say that he trusts AJ enough to tell him certain secrets, not all but certain ones. Some days they do clash due to having almost the same personalities, but MJ knows his place and AJ his, so as long as neither try overbearing on each other they'll remain cool.
The Motherly One | Emily Ferguson
"She's great, gives amazing advice, but she could be a bit much "

Emily is well, Emily is nice, gives great bits of advice. They don't see each other much being in different cliches and all but he's found himself going to her for a help a couple of times.
