• Apollo has always enjoyed music. He appreciates the work and time it takes to learn and master a melody, and how so much emotion, energy and soul is put into weaving it. The music takes him some place—some place different. He feels that his music can also heal others who are feeling down in the dumps or lost in the darkness of reality. Music and songs are constantly being created in Apollo’s mind. He carries a notebook with him everywhere for he never knows when inspiration will have him create a song right then and there. Everything else he does is a side-job compared to his one calling. He and his band practice in his parents' garage and they will often travel around the city performing gigs at bars. Apollo isn’t really seeking to become rich and famous, but to be heard and his music appreciated by those who need it.
  
  As a rising rock star, Apollo does gain a lot of attention from fans and those who just like basking in the presence of others, whether because they’re hoping to keep in contact with him in the case he becomes famous or they actually like him. These people are difficult to understand and they make Apollo wary. While it appears that Apollo has a lot of friends, in truth, he has only a handful and they are mainly in his band. He and his band mates are often involved in a lot of shenanigans, going to college parties at Berkley (even though they are underage), sneaking in a bit of drugs, and trying to win a hot date. They are all young and dumb, and have some growing to do, which may happen sooner than expected.
  
  The rocker is playful, has a sense of humor, and is always planning the next big stunt or the next big prank. He likes to try new things and his wild and reckless behavior often makes him the center of conflict. Apollo is brave and will at times sacrifice all logic and common sense to impulsively do what he believes is right. Jake has his paws full with this one.

• Apollo Lewis was born as the oldest child to Nathan and Rita Lewis. He has a little sister named Melody who is five years behind him. He had an average childhood full of imagination and trips to the beach. At an early age, he showed an interest in music. In school, he started in chorus and then learned piano before he found his one true love, the guitar. Apollo participated in a talent show in middle school and won first place performing a piano and guitar cover of the song, “Rock and Roll” by Led Zeppelin. It was at that moment that a rock star was born. By high school, Apollo had a band called, Fist of Fury. The band only grew in popularity as they were asked by the school to perform at home coming, prom, and they even performed with the school band at a football half-time show.
  
  As far as Apollo knew, his life was normal and hardly unusual. He was planning to go onto becoming a rock star with his band, and eventually attend college to acquire a degree in Music Appreciation. If there were some things that were slightly abnormal—maybe—it was the dreams he would have. Never did he dream about a place that existed on Earth. His dreams always took him somewhere else—to a place by the sun. He bought an interesting lighter at the farmer’s market that never burns him no matter how many times he has passed the flame over his hands (first it was by accident), and he is the only one in his family who has such a gift with music. His father and mother are both mechanical engineers and were the socially awkward types growing up, while he somehow turned out to be the complete opposite. Apollo is so different that he has wondered and even asked in a joking manner if he was adopted.
  
  One day, driving home from school, a random dog darted out in front of his car and nearly made him crash. The corgy had no collar and appeared to be abandoned and so he adopted the dog against his parents’ wishes. Naming the corgy, Jake, Jake is often left at home while Apollo is in school, but somehow the dog manages to find him. It happens so much that Apollo became used to it and just figured Jake loves him that much. Little does Apollo know that his meeting with Jake was just the beginning of a long and epic story.

  Power: The fire prince was born in the fires of the sun. Innately, he cannot be burned by flames, and he can control and manipulate fire to not only scorch his enemies, but to provide warmth to the needy. Fire has been used to forge, smelt, and create the steel-like constructs that form the Sun Kingdom.
  Drawbacks to Power: Fire requires fuel to burn. While the prince can generate fire from his very being, fire will not spread without a fuel source. Another requirement is oxygen. Fire cannot burn without oxygen, and so an oxygen-deprived space will keep fires extinguished. Lastly, there must be heat for fire to continue to blaze. Trying to generate a fire in a frigid climate would require Apollo to expend more energy than in warmer climates.

Celeste has been described as flighty, spacey, ADD, and many variations of those words. She doesn't mean to have her head in the clouds; she's always been that way. Don't expect her to remember your name after your first meeting, or even the second, because she might have already drifted off as you introduced yourself. She's a daydreamer at heart, and longs for a perfect world where everyone gets along and can be loved. She carries a dream journal with her wherever she goes, just in case she wants to check something or even write down someone's dream (her own included).

Because of what she's been through and how she acts, it's easy to dismiss her as unintelligent or think she's not paying attention. The truth is, she can surprise you with what she remembers at times (probably not your name) or with random knowledge. She enjoys proving people wrong, though she doesn't like to do so in a rude or awful way. Kill them with kindness is her mantra, a saying ingrained into her by her dear mother.

She may be apprehensive to touch someone at first, afraid of the visions that can appear. On the one hand, she's used to them, but on the other-- sometimes you can't unsee something, and that's the most terrible gift of all. She wants to be helpful to everyone, and sometimes overextends herself in trying to do so. Then she forgets something, and the cycle starts all over.

Bio:
Celeste's parents knew she was different from the moment they had her. Something about her was so special but they couldn't quite place it, despite other people telling them that she was a regular, healthy baby. And healthy she was; regular she was not. For a couple years, they tried to figure it out, but couldn't. They went about their day to day lives, but always kept an eye out for her grand reveal. It was silly to some, but they do say that parents know their children best.

It happened when Celeste was about two, at church no less. While in the service one day, Celeste couldn't stop staring at the man speaking up front. After the service, when he was thanking everyone on their way out of the doors, Celeste stopped to stare up at him. When he placed his hand on her back to usher her along to her parents, she saw it. He was a bad man, who'd done bad things. She promptly screamed, and though her parents rushed to her side, she didn't stop screaming until they were down the road.

They never went back.

It became clear that things weren't normal. Her parents grew afraid, despite the fact that they'd been searching for her 'special' factor all along. They dumped her into the foster care system, where she grew up in a home surrounded by other foster kids. The foster parents were not tolerant of her 'visions' at all, and so she started to hide the fact that she even had them. She placed her focus elsewhere or nowhere at all.

Little did she know what those visions actually meant, not until she met her guardian...

  Personality: As the oldest, Ila tends to act as the caretaker of the group. She ensures that the more reckless/playful nature of the guardians are kept in check, whilst making sure they keep on track with their ultimate goal of keeping the world at peace. Her nature is naturally responsible and protective, willing to do what is best not just for peace, but also her close ones. Although she is seen as quite calm and patient, she also tends to enjoy bantering with others. She loves sweets, and the different variety she can eat in all her different forms.

  Bio: Anvilla was born as the sole royal guardian to the kingdom of mountains, found on an orbiting asteroid soaring through the cosmos. One of her greatest moments of happiness, was when she was knighted by the first prince of the kingdom, Andos. He was her childish princely first-love, and she wanted nothing more than to protect the kingdom by his side, even if she had to watch him fall in love with another and marry for the kingdoms prosperity. However, such a moment was not to come.
  
  One fateful morning, the kingdom awoke to a mist of ominous miasma spreading throughout the asteroid. At first, it wasn't harmful, albeit concerning. But once it reached noon, the land was suddenly engulfed by flames. They never realized the mist was highly flammable before it was too late. As thousands burnt alive, dark knights descented from the sky and wrecked havoc upon the land. They charged upon the royal castle, calling themselves the Shadow Knights. They started spouting nonsense about how they served this great, otherworldly being, but before Anvilla could even attack or gain more information, she was knocked out by the very man she swore to serve, Andos.
  
  Years later, she awoke from her comatose state in a world that wasn't her own, Earth. When she adjusted to her new circumstances, and visited her homeland, she broke down in despair at what had occurred. The kingdom of mountains was no more, and Andos had protected Ila by sending her away using a magical spell. Determined for revenge, and to destroy the evil forces threatening this universe, she sought out aid on modern Earth.

Personality: Leona is a usually bright and cheerful person. Whenever she's with her friends, she could tell you that she has truly enjoyed each moment of it. Often torn between being 'go-with-the-flow' and the responsible one in any group she accompanies - though the responsible part of her often wins out. While she readily agrees to hanging out with others, she also loves her alone time - a true ambivert in nature.

With her passion in inventing along with the amount of money her parents own and give her, she has quite a number of machines at home. Her true passion lies in inventions and innovations with her room looking more like a workshop even if there's another room that should act as her workshop that is connected to her bedroom (she had filled it up with clutter). There are days where she locks herself up in her room but coaxing from her friends to get out usually does the trick. Leona is no stranger to staying up late or not even going to sleep.

She does take care of her appearance outside most of the time because, in her own words, "Just because I like tinkering and machines doesn't mean I can't look good too." She often laughs at the assumptions thrown at her and brushes them off with a snarky reply. While she appears completely confident in herself, she constantly - but silently - seeks approval from people she cares about.

Backstory

Bio: The Charter family was an old family that came with the colonials from Europe into America where they owned a large plot of land which they turned into a vineyard. Starting off as successful wine makers, they have since branched off to other businesses. They is well known for its successful international businesses and is considered, widely, to be a respectable family. Part of the 1% of the world, they live surrounded by the extravagant and the grandiose. Their life is a privileged one though not without their own hardships that involve the strict politics and regulations between dealings and making sure that things go smoothly.

Leona was born into such a family. A family full of businessmen, politicians, doctors - boring, boring, boring. However, her mother was the saving grace. A middle class citizen, Angie Charter did not have money as her driving fore. She was a car mechanic who had managed to capture the heart of Leonard Charter III. Despite Leonard's overwhelming richness, Angie continued to work modestly and convinced Leonard to, at the very least, live by her rules because she didn't want to be blinded by the glitter and gold.

Four days after Leonard's twenty-third birthday, Leona was born. Though, yes, she was given everything she wanted by Leonard, Angie was a bit more strict and told her that she had to earn what she can get. Her life was a fancy gifts and good tests scores to impress mother, expensive dinners with family members and ordering delivery for pizzas and ramen, a two-floor building home on a wide plot of land and minimalist design. It was a perfect balance between the two. And this balance is what allowed Leona to not become a spoiled little girl who gets what she wants from whining, but this also led to her need for approval.

Much to the Charter family's dismay, Leona found technology interesting and she was often at her mother's workshop to learn about them. All her magazines and books related to science and machineries that detail their inner workings. Leonard was very supportive of this and gave her the materials she needed which led to her natural genius over the subject matter to grow, mature and expand. All throughout her school days, she was known as the girl who always had a laptop or a phone on hand. A true tinkerer by nature, she was once isolated from the rest of the school as she found solace in her work.

But at 12, her mother had died due to a workshop accident. Machinery malfunction, they said, crushed under a ton worth of metal along with two others. Leonard was devastated and wanted to pull Leona out of doing something so dangerous that it claimed her mother's life. But Leona adamantly refused. This was the only thing she could remember her mother by. With strict regulations, she continued her work. She also started opening up to the possibilities of friends and soon started to fix herself better thanks to one group who convinced her to do so, and she highly enjoyed it! Friends often found her holding a new invention or a weird replica of something that she made functional.

Combat

Skills:

• Mechanic - Give Leona any piece of technology or machinery and she will figure out how it ticks. She can often restore or recreate pieces of machineries given she has some background on it. If not, well, reverse engineering exists for a reason. She's been known to also repurpose designs to accommodate different features. Though she has tried doing many things from scratch, she hasn't exactly perfected the designs.
• Programming - It comes par for the course whenever she makes any sort of robotic technology. She has tons of books regarding the subject and has been going to various tutorials and seminars at universities for more in-depth practices.
• Hacking - While not particularly open about this, Leona has both the knowledge and the experience to hack into most programs. Given enough time and the right equipment, she will be able to crack the code and get the information she needs.
• Foreign Languages - Due to her family being spread internationally, she has learned a couple of languages to be able to fluidly converse with most of them. These include English, Spanish, German, Japanese and French.
