War. The one thing Government will go to great lengths to succeed in, even if it means encouraging and completing unspeakable acts and experiments, all in the name of peace. The Government has been working on the next generation of warfare, only this time the weapons are humans. For decades scientists employed by the Government have been experimenting on fetuses, injecting them with chemicals and hormones, genetically mutating them to become human soldiers, weapons to aid and fight in the next war. Not many have thought of such a thing, considering it violates so many rights, but when it comes to war, all is fair right? At first most experiments were failures, unstable and unable to control their powers, most turned into mindless psychopaths, incapable of handling any given situation or adapting, but as the years went on, success was on the horizon. Soon they had their first success, a human with the ability of telekinesis, and increased strength, this only encouraged them further. This time they dabbled more in genetics and abilities, mutating them with animals, among other things, the result? Mutated soldiers, for the most part all different from the rest, unless they happened to be siblings. Testing was crucial and all advanced humans went under great stress and torture to better develop and adapt should war break out. But as the torture, experiments and testing of their abilities increased in light of success, unrest and anger broiled underneath the experiments' skin. Soon a rebellion broke out and they worked together to escape, and escape they did. But with newfound freedom comes havoc. Many weren't sure what to do at first, but blood lust fueled them and they began to attack civilians, taking out their anger on them for the way they were treated. Others did no such thing and instead sadly watched their fellows attack innocents until they couldn't handle it anymore. War broke out between the experiments, the peaceful heroes attempted to convince the bloodthirsty villains that violence wasn't the answer. Why become a monster when that was all you were meant to be? Why not prove them wrong? But they would not listen. The Government made attempts to recapture them, but they had little success. The murder count and crime rate sky rocketed and with it the villains found some peace... and pleasure. It helped them vent their frustrations and calm their minds. The Government realized this and gave them a proposition, "Come back, fight for us and start a war, kill the enemy for us and keep your freedom." The offer was tempting, but the heroes were against it, refusing to be used for what they were created for, causing an even bigger rift between the experiments. The next proposition? "Get rid of the rebels and then you can kill as many in the upcoming war as you want."

Okay so this is a different take on villains and heroes, and while this will be a bit darker with death, it will also have some fun and humor. The two factions will be constantly pitted against each other. And more than likely a war will actually break out, once we get further in the plot. So I'm doing an interest check. I probably will only accept up to about 10 or so. It will be a casual roleplay, with replies at least once a week, one paragraph minimum ( though more is welcomed) slow paced, so as to build up. I will be open to comments and plot ideas as well as possible conflict.
*Side note; Monsters are what they are called by civilians, no matter what side they take and the name caught on. Each experiment will have a code name that they were either called at the labs, or that media has dubbed them based on abilities.
