  Relief met with an empty gaze. She is no longer Eunoia and he is no longer Lucerys. Reality is cruel.
  
  An angel betrayed by the hands of his makers, the word “heaven” rots in his mouth, tastes bitter when spoken. Because everything was ruined, everything is the picture of loss.   Earth is no longer out of reach, paths walked by two pairs of determined feet. The streets are cruel, he knows this now, regrets ever thinking otherwise. His heart aches for her, his hands yearn to reach out and touch her, hold her, embrace her… But time is of the essence and everything is on the line.
  
  Cold, calculated eyes dart through heavy curtains and around corners, following closely the regime of their beloved Cupid. To realize is to experience and to make her see, in her never-ending quest for love, is to turn chaos into a virtue.
  
  Bonds unravel and connections become severed, it is only the guilt that remains constant. Knowing what must be done, the ending that must come, that is where uncertainty lies.
