Hanayo nodded shakily, wiping away the few tears that had sneaked past her attempt at a brave face. She was suddenly grateful that she had thought to wear a skirt with functioning pockets, and began hurriedly making little parcels of bread and rice with the paper napkins that had been scattered over the table by the most recent shake.
"I've heard it's easy to get tired from swimming in cold water," she answered Rin's questioning glances, trying to mask the unmistakable tremor in her voice. "We could all use something to give us energy."
She finished packing up what carbohydrates she should find and hurried after her girlfriend and the large group of people moving vaguely in the right direction.
Suddenly, she spotted Kotori being shoved aside by some older gentlemen at the edge of the panicking crowd.
"Kotori-chan! Over here!" she managed to call out over the panic, keeping a tight hold of Rin's hand. Finally she was calming down a little. They would make it through this.
They had to.

Maki returned Nico's hug as the people around them hurried to the life boats. Nico was saying that they should run back to their room to grab their life jackets, but the redhead didn't think that would be the best choice. "Nico, we can't. Our room is too far away! We'd probably drown before we got there. Besides, we'd get separate from the rest of our friends. They'd be worried sick about us!" She said, taking a step back from the third year and looking down at her with worried eyes. "They always let women and children onto the life boats first, and we are pretty much both. I say we take our chances there. If you stay close we won't get separated."

♡Nico♡

Nico shook her head at the tomato tsundere'so response crossing her arms against her nonexistent chest, staring up at the girls face. "Maki, Nico is not going on one of those topsy turvy life boats in a storm like this with out a life jacket! The boat's would capsize worse then this sinking ship!" The number one idol frowned, as she spoke frantically. No way was Nico going in one of the life boats they looked like they would tip over on the slightest wave in weather like this. "The room is a few stories up so it's higher ground we wouldn’t drown if we ran! Nico is going you can come if you want to!" She swiftly turned around holding out one of the key cards she had swiped from Maki's pocket and started rushing to the entrance of the dining hall.

When Honoka raised the problem, aside from the main problem which was the boat sinking, Tsubasa paused and pondered. "Kotori and Umi?" she repeated Honoka's words. Kotori and Umi are Honoka's childhood friends and the orange-head frequently talks about them. Would it be wise to look for them amidst the panicking crowd? If they look for them together then there's a good chance that they're going to miss out the lifeboats and go down with the ship. Tsubasa crossed out the idea of Honoka and her separating in order to look for the other two faster. "Wait, the other μ's are also missing." she looked around and failed to see the others.

Tsubasa shook her head and tightened her hold to the orange-haired, "It's not wise to run off and look for them like this. We need to get to the lifeboats. I'm sure they're also heading there." she flashed an assuring smile at her.

Kotori on the other hand tried to resist the pushing crowd with all her might but was failing. A familiar voice called out to her which made her look around until her eyes found Hanayo with Rin. The ashen-haired quickly tried to find a way to get to them, when she finally did, she rushed towards her two juniors with fresh tears in her eyes. "H-Hanayo-chan...Rin-chan...." she said in between pants and sobs, "I-I was so scared..." she confessed as tears continued to roll down her cheeks.

Hanayo was at a loss for words. She'd never seen her senior in such a state, and it was quite unnerving. "It's okay, Kotori! We just need to follow the crowd, don't we? They'll definitely have brought enough lifeboats for such a large cruise. It'll be okay!" she shuffled around in her pockets for one of the parcels of cake she'd salvaged, and handed it to Kotori. "It's not much, but you should eat something. You didn't finish your dinner, right? I'll save the rest for Umi and the others." she paused then, as the other members were nowhere to be seen. She just had to hope they were all heading towards the lifeboats.
"Let's go, Rin-chan, Kotori-chan." she held her girlfriend's hand as before and wrapped her arm in Kotori's so they couldn't be separated. They just had to get to the lifeboats, right? That had to be easy enough! They could do it, and they'd meet the other members there, get back to land, and they'd all be fine!
They would be fine. At least, she hoped they would.
