Looking for a mentor to help get my RP going

I have an idea for what I think would be a pretty cool RP, but I have never made one before and am not really sure how to get it going. I have an overview prepared, and a couple ideas for characters, but outside of that I am clueless as to what to do next.


Would there be anyone interested in possibly working with me to bring this idea to fruition?


I would hate to do this all on my own and have it become lost in the abyss of dead RP threads.

Heh. I can't exactly mentor you, but you should look for advice from other role-players that are intellectually informed about what makes a dead RP....dead. Of course, your RP can last for a long time, if done correctly. Just be careful with how you transition the plot along.


As for the draft itself? Be creative. Don't simply be


"Okay, my idea is blah


The setting will be blah blah",


etc. You should try to have fun with it, make it look nice.
