Howdy! I'm new to the site, and I'm looking for someone dedicated to have some roleplays with. I know it says these things, take a look there if you're confused, but I'm looking for someone just to roleplay with. I won't bother with anything specific, anything like that, but I'd love someone, or a small group, who's fairly active. This is probably really bland and short, my b, but either way, that's the gist of it.

I have an arsenal of ideas, new and old, all of them fantasy-esque. I would consider myself a mature player (not in the sexual sense) but I tend to play plots that are darker and grittier. The majority of them are very action packed and have some violent sublets. If you're interested, let me know.

So there are two that are on the forefront of my mind. One is a sort of gods and men type plot. It's an alternate modern plot. The US is divided into like three (I don't have my map on hand) different quadrants. Years ago, a law passed that banned all religion not approved for practice by specific government agencies. So the entire country has been kind of godless. Well the gods (that do in fact exist) are losing their strength without worship. But people on their own haven't been able to do anything about the laws because the government has these like super soldier types that enforce their laws. So, the idea is that the gods bestow some of their powers upon certain individuals to try and get things back to the way they were before.


The second is a vampire/werewolf type plot. There is a pack and a coven in their respective territories that encompass a decent amount of the western Pennsylvania. Ties have been strained because the vampires have been pushing a drug on the street that's rumored to be laced with something that is actually making people exhibit temporary vampire-like traits, only to come crashing down so hard that they absolutely need the drug to avoid going through bad withdrawals. But things come to an all out strain when the twin sister (who is human) of one of the packmates is apparently killed by the coven.


I can elaborate more on both if needed.

Alright. I got inspiration from it from a book I read some time ago. The name of it is eluding me now, though. I have a few different character pairing ideas. I tend to play multiple characters in most plots, whether it be NPCs or main characters, just to keep things alive and moving. If you have any ideas/wheels turning, please let me know!

Alright, so mainly there would be:

Madeline, age 30, is one of the "super soldiers" the government has mandated to enforce law and authority over all of the divisions.


She has small, neurotransmitter implants in certain key areas of her body (adrenal glands, hypothalamus, etc.) that allows her to operate at above human levels. By nature, she is calm and straight-forward. She is generally level-headed, but is known for the traces of a "defunct" chip that can cause spikes in her epinephrine levels and cause her to act a bit aggressively. For the most part, she genuinely believes that she is doing the right thing, approves of her choice of career and stands by the viewpoints of the government.


Main secondary character would be:

Dr. Trey Mclain, age 38. He is a traveling physician who has taken to visiting the low-income territories. During his treatment and hospice care of many people, Trey has witnessed all walks of life and all sorts of beliefs. He has taken it into his own belief that belief, in itself, it something that all people need. He also has witnessed the passing on of enough patients to truly believe there are greater powers at work and life after death. Knowing of his sister's employment, he keeps his opinions to himself for the most part. He is just an aging man with a bum knee who doesn't think he can make much of a difference anyway. But, when he is selected by Marduk (or Bel) a Babylonian god, Trey gains power to bring storms of change, affecting every aspect and every relationship of his life.

I'm just gonna start with one character for now, I'll probably add one or two later on, if that's alright.


Atol O'Faire, age 21. Son of a rich, prosperous Christian family, though due to the 'New World' his family has been destroyed, most of them killed by soldiers, or fled as refugees. With nobody else to turn to, he lives his own life, as a wanderer. He keeps all of his religious thoughts to himself, carrying around a small cross in his pcokets, however. He has never had more combat experience then a small amount of fencing, and even then he isn't very athletic or fast.
