Looking for 4-5 People for Skype Pathfinder game.

My Fiance' has a campaign he wants to do and all of our friends are lame and don't really play. We would host the game on whatever night and time is best for everyone. We live on the East coast of the U.S.

You can roll any level 1 character. Can be any race or class.

If you are truly interested please send me a PM and I will give you his number (his name is Chris) and he will go over everything with via text or phone.

I'd be interested; I have a good grasp of Pathfinders rules, though I've never actually gotten to play it. Do you really mean ANY race? Including psionic races? Because depending what other classes we get I have two ideas, but one of them is a half-giant. Also... I'm guessing just high fantasy?

My friends introduced me to Pathfinders by playing a few campaigns with an extra character they had, but ever since we haven't been able to meet up. So I'm kind of a noob, but if you're cool with that then I'd be interested.

Are you using Roll20 or a variant? How will combat be resolved? Will rolls be done via a 3rd party app?

All these questions and more...

@Revan The Courier Really? Understandable that it'd be there, but seems a bit harsh. Especially since RPN doesn't exactly have a dice-roller
It's got one, but it's pretty basic. I doubt it would be able to keep up with an actual pen & paper RPG. But there have been other people who have used Roll20 and the like from here so I doubt it would be a problem. What MIGHT be a problem is that after the initial interest check we've heard nothing from OP or her fiance. Does not bode well for a sustained campaign.

[QUOTE="Revan The Courier]They probably got a ban.

I've looked through the site rules and didn't see anything about running a game based here but run in a third party app. Could you please link it for me? I was planning on starting a game and was going to do much the same thing. I don't want to unintentionally break a rule.

- Allowed - Users are allowed to recruit for offsite roleplaying in a thread for Skype and all the various IMs and programs that exist as long as account information exchange is handled via Private Message. At that point any content/harassment is responsibility of the user. Public information will be edited out by a staff member for user privacy/safety.

[QUOTE="Revan The Courier]It's literally a box you have to click while making an interest check.

Gotcha. I've never seen that because I've never created an interest thread. Yet. So I'm getting mixed messages from the board rules then. They say both I can and I can't do offsite third party apps. I believe this needs clarification. I'll report my post to the mods for further review and possibly moving these from the interest check thread to not muddy it up. Thanks!

edit: Reported my post for clarification and visibility.

Please don't report posts to ask questions!

We have a Site Questions & Information forum for that.

To clarify:

The way off-site advertising is handled is that offsite roleplays that are better suited to other mediums (those that you'd rather do on IM, for example, though you can't advertise other forums) can be requested.

However, all contact information must be shared via PM - you may not post any contact information on the forums.

Apologize. In other places reporting is a way to bring questions out of the massive din to the eyes that need to behold it. Won't do it again. (Please don't hurt me.)

It's all good - we just tend to reserve reports for posts that break the rules. :P

In future, make a thread, that's all.

Have fun with your game~
