This 'Life' Roleplay would basically be a Roleplay with no pre-determined plot dictating what we do or how we act. Our characters would be blank slates, shaped by the world around them and influenced by the situations that we come up with. We would Roleplay their life stories, from young childhood to death as they grow, make friends, develop enemies and whatever else they end up experiencing. We, as the roleplayers, develop both the plotline and the characters as we go and watch as the story unfurls.
To keep things interesting, we could use the discussion thread to come up with ideas on plot points suited to what has happened so far, decide upon characters to sacrifice to bring in new ones and so on
The roleplay could be set in any country, exploring any culture. Our characters could live, for example, in a pretty village beside a sandy beach, in a city alive with clubs and bars, or amoungst the art and music on the cobbled streets of Paris. There are many interesting settings to consider with this, including a totally made-up world
It could also take place in different eras. For example, it could take place around World War 2, where
our characters spend their childhood as evacuees growing up in the country and, when they get older, cope with living in the broken, grieving London. Or we could consider Victorian times, coping with class divides, or the medieval era.
Anyway, this is just a quick interest check. I am happy to do a 1x1 roleplay, but I am also keen to roleplay with a small group.
