Summer has come and high school is finally over! You've passed your senior year and got accepted into St. Johnsons University, which was your absolute dream! Everyone in all your neighbouring towns wants to go there, so the fact that you got accepted is something pretty awesome in your boks.

Of course the first thing you do when you got accepted was to join the University's freshman facebook group, and one night as you're mindlessly scrolling, something catches your eye.

AN INVITATION
"Hello! My name is Alex and I have a proposition! My friend Felix and I want to go on an adventure, but we don't want to do it alone! So that's where you guys come in. I'm going to assume you all know about the big forest that divides all six of our towns up. Our plan is to drive right through the forest and to the beach at end of it, sorta like following the yellow brick road! But we'd be making some detours along the way, sticking around some camp sights and going on some little hikes. A month there, a month back. That's the plan. So our question is if anyone else would be interested in coming along. We've got one whole van that we can fill up with stuff, and the rest of you guys can bring your own cars! If you're interested in coming along, meet us at the Clock Tower at the center of the University at 6am SHARP! Oh, and bring your own damn sleeping bag, tent, and at least $500 dollars, but no more than $1000, because nobody likes a showoff. Can't wait to see ya there! A car too if you have one, if not lemme know in advance so we can hook ya up with a ride.

P.S. Comment below if you're going (and you can't back out if ya do!
:P )"

For whatever reason you decide to make a little comment, and suddenly you feel more than a little obligated to go.

PLOT

You decide very last minute to go on a road trip with a bunch of random strangers. You will be going through the forest, doing random odd-jobs for some money, and making friends. The goal is to get to the beach, stay for a week, and then get back. This would be a character driven roleplay. Drama, romance, fighting...etc. would be encouraged amongst characters. There may be mature themes (drug use...etc.) but fade-to-black will still be very much so a thing.

Basically people will be split up in separate cars and/or trucks, and obviously seating plans will change as relationships grow, but I'll be picking them at first. Each night they'll stop and either camp or check in at a motel, where all the characters will interact. As well as during pit stops..etc.

RULES

1. Follow of all of RPNs rules

2. Keep all drama IC

3. Posts should be around 2-3 paragraphs long at minimum

4. Each paragraph should be around 5-10 sentences minimum

5. Tag any and all people your characters are conversing with

Time: 6am

Location: Old Clock Tower
The sky is dark and full of clouds. A light rain pours down, lightly splashing the windows and making the plants sing in glee. The roads are relatively empty, with only a few cars whizzing by, eager to get to their destination. Several early birds walk their dogs despite the weather, although the time keeps most people in their beds. Unfortunately today is not the day for sleeping in, as an adventure awaits, and unfortunately has decided that six am is the perfect time to start it.

Mood: Tired, a tad grumpy

Felix quietly sits in his car, tapping the steering wheel to the beat of his song. He watches quietly as Alex paces, umbrella in hand. His car is full to the brim with suitcases, and his two current guests, Leah, someone Alex seems to like, and Nashton, a guy he personally enjoys sit, both fast asleep. He has an entire other row for people to sit, although part of him hopes that he won't have to fill it despite Alex's excitement to do so. Part of him wonders if anyone will even bother showing up. They'd gotten a fair deal of replies, but people are known to chicken out, especially on a trip this big. He even noticed a couple people who aren't new to the university bite at the little post, and he really doubts that they'll end up showing up. With a sigh, Felix places his head down on the steering wheel and tries to get in a couple minutes of shut eye before whatever crowd shows up forces him to be social.

Alex, on the other hand is up and about. Sure, she's a bit sleepy, yawning every couple of minutes, but she's got her bright yellow tank top with a smiley face on it, and some sick high waisted shorts, and she will not be stopped! She already picked up her friend with Felix a little while ago, so now all she has to do is wait for everybody else! The excitement of it is enough to keep her awake, and her only hope is that soon other people will show up. She can't wait to meet them all, and is more than a little bit ecstatic to go on the road trip.

Riley was already regretting his decision to come. Another yawn made him stop walking down the street and stretch afterwards. Whose idea was it to leave at six in the morning? The damn road isn't going anywhere. Riley shook his head and readjusted his backpack before walking again. He had passed by a few people but most normal people were asleep this early. He was wearing a black hoodie over the school's basketball jersey and some black jeans. In one hand he was dribbling a basketball and the other was tugging his suitcase behind him. Better be some cute girls on this trip or I'll just jump out of the car, dammit. He really didn't know why he had agreed to the trip in the first place. It just seemed like a good idea at the time, then he saw some cute girls decided to come. At least they had cute facebook pictures.

When he got closer to the clock tower he checked his watch for what felt like the hundredth time.
Well, being a few minutes late won't hurt anything. It wasn't hard to spot the place that everyone was gathering. Riley walked up to the girl standing outside the car and offered her his best smile. He let go of his suitcase and began dribbling the ball between his legs effortlessly. He was thankful the rain wasn't hard enough to stop him from dribbling or the walk would have been much more boring. Before saying anything Riley looked into the car the girl was standing in front of. He noted that almost everyone seemed to be asleep inside. He thought he saw the girl that he sometimes worked out with in the gym but wasn't sure. Everyone else though, he had never seen in his life. That or they just weren't very memorable.

He chuckled and turned his attention back to the girl. "Good morning cutie. Please tell me you're here for the road trip. It would be a shame if I didn't get to spend more time with a girl like you." Even though it was still early in the morning, Riley was already turning on the charm. Depending on what your definition of charm was, anyway.

Julian Christopher Woods

Julian was the type of person that loved his sleep, craved it. The soothing sound of rain pelting against his window and the rustling of the trees due to the slight wind outside was all calming. Of course that moment of sleep was ruined when the alarm clock sitting on the side of the bed went off causing Julian to flinch slightly at the sound. He had forgot that he even set an alarm clock and now he was regretting it. Reaching over and turning off the alarm he sat up slowly letting his eyes and mind get adjusted that he had to force himself out of his wonderful bed to get ready for that trip. Why had he decided on going in the first place? He would have to say it had to do with wanting to get out of the house, mostly and also he was curious as to the new faces and if anyone he knew was going to be there. In this very moment he wanted to say fuck it and crawl right back in his bed but after a small debate Julian pulled himself off the bed and then dragged himself into the bathroom.

The rest of the house was quite but he wasn't expecting anyone to be up at this time besides himself. In a way Julian kind of missed having a noisy house, his older sisters would be up playing music while arguing over the bathroom and his moms would shout for them to be quiet and ultimately waking Julian up in the process. After stepping out the shower and throwing on his clothes for the weather which consisted of, loose fitted Nike track pants that hung slightly off his hips, a white t-shirt, sneakers and his hoodie. 6:00 in the morning was a brutal time for anyone to be up especially when you didn't have to. Julian clicked his tongue against his teeth as he moved throughout the house careful not to wake his mother as he gathered his bags and placed them beside the door.

After doing one last check of the essentials that he needed, Julian grabbed his backpack slinging it over his back before grabbing his two duffle bags and heading out into the gloomy weather. When Julian arrived at the clock tower he saw that he wasn't the first one there, not that he had expected himself to be anyway. There was a female standing a couple of feet from him with a bright yellow t-shirt with a smiley face on the front. Funny considering being up at this hour at this ungodly time was nothing to be happy about. His eyes lingered on the back of the tall males head whom was speaking to the girl and immediately he forced back a groan. Not only was he up early as hell but he was going to be on this little adventure with Riley himself. It had been sometime since the two had shared a few words, being that the last few almost ended in a heated disagreement.

Julian walked over before placing his bags down and then using his hands to slightly pick up his pants. His eyes first focused towards the female standing at his side, " Well I have you to thank for getting me up at this forsaken hour" Julian half joked before giving a friendly smile. " I'm Julian nice to meet you". When he looked over at Riley he gave the guy a raised eyebrow along a small nod, there was no need to make further conversation or be petty and not speak altogether. He moved past the two as he pushed his bags against the concrete only to see a guy dozed off in one of the cars. Lucky him. Julian thought as he sat down on one of his bags and whipped out his phone.[/h]

The girl was obviously knackered being that she had slept over at Alex's house and hearing her plan and ramble on about it. They meant to get some rest but on the contrary she kept on speaking about it when Leah tried to get some rest. Now waking up at 6:00am, for Leah it was no problem at all as her typical morning walk would be at 5:00am but not when the whole night was spent up hearing about plans. Finding herself falling asleep in the car she nudged herself awake to find herself in a different surrounding.

Beside her was a sleeping boy who fell asleep with and open book on his lap and in the passenger seat she saw a newly known face who looked a tad impatient with lack of sleep most probably as he tried to get some shut eye and the other passenger seat was supposed to be Alex but it seems as if she managed to strike a conversation outside with a familiar voice of a former team player and another not so familiar but definitely heard. Setting herself straight she opened the car door and went to Alex's side, her eyes slightly hooded. The young female was in some yoga pants, trainers and a tank top with a thin fabric jacket as she felt chilly for no reason.
"How can you have so much energy despite knackered?" The blonde inquired before noticing two familiar faces.

Looking towards the basketball player she hummed
"Never thought I would see you anywhere outside the gym man" she grinned, obviously the only times they ever conversed was the gym after all.

Secondly she turned to her former team player, Julian who was sitting on his bag and gave a chuckle
"Didn't quite think you had it in you to wake up at this hour of the morning!" She let out as she slowly zipped up the hoodie and gave out a yawn herself.

Riley heard the voice before he saw him, his smile faltering some. Man, I was really hoping he just wasn't gonna show up. Punk ass... The basketball player made no attempt to turn around and say anything to Julian. he just continued dribble the ball glad he had something to distract himself with. Riley looked down at the other male and returned the nod though his face lacked any emotion. In truth, Riley didn't -hate- Julian. He just thought the guy was a quitter and Riley really didn't like quitters. What would've happened if I just quit playing basketball? We wouldn't have won state three times in a row, that's what. He shook his head, forcing himself to look away from Julian as the sight was putting him in a bad mood.

Thankfully, Leah came out of the car and returned the award winning smile to his face. "Hey girl. Let me tell you, you look even better outside the gym. And that's saying something. When you gonna let me teach you a thing or two about basketball?" While Riley didn't know Leah well, he was glad to see her. She was friendly enough and gave him someone to talk to while he was working out. Didn't hurt that she was easy on the eyes either. Riley's smile faltered some when Leah addressed Julian but his smile grew back just as quickly. As petty as it was, he took pride in the fact that she had talked to him before Julian.

The ball bounced between one hand and the ground as Riley raised a hand to yawn again. He reached into his hoodie pocket, checking the time on his phone. He was careful to make sure no rain got on the screen as he did so. "Man, where these other people at? I'm not tryna stand around all day bruh."

Astor had been up since five just to make sure she stayed awake. She currently was sipping her coffee she picked up, and pulled into the parking area, near a woman, Alex was pacing. She nodded, not daring step out in the rain. She turned down her music, watching as she sioped her coffee again, and played on her phone. She rolled down the window, enough to hear, yet not get rained on. She was not going tto deal with rain right now. She was to grouchy. She was SO glad she didn't choose to borrow her friends motorcycle like she normally did. She looked at the car from inside, but outside it looked like a black army vechicle in her opinion. "Oh, well. It was Fathers." She said, a brief smile on her lips.

The female couldn't help but chuckle at his suave coated words before reverting back on the attention "Hmm well judging that I don't look like a sweaty pig... I have to agree with you right now.. However hearing this little one squeak around about the road trip all night was not quite a nice addition to my beauty sleep" she muttered lightly as her eyes directed towards her best friend, the girl with a bright yellow tank top so early in the morning, definitely something Alex would do to contrast the situation and complement her mood.

Leah didn't quite get to how Riley's expression changed as whenever she looked at him, he had a friendly smile on his face, a big one at that. "However about the basketball thing... you finally have the chance to do it after all these times pestering me about it". It was true whenever they conversed basketball was always at the tip of his tongue. Basketball unfortunately was not Leah's forte, due to being quite short it had never agreed well with her and her aim was not the best but alas she was willing to try and did say that.

However hearing her recent conversing person yawn, caused her to stifle a yawn herself before looking around and so far it was five people and yet she was still amazed that 5 people showed up to begin with. With that being sad she placed her hands on her hip and hummed "I don't know... but 6:00 am is not quite the time to meet, for me it is but something tells me I am the only one in the right mind and not exhausting.... ish"

@Lurker @Caru

Nashton Gray:

The male was in the back of Felix's car dozing off, he stayed up all night chatting to his 'friend' online which was not a wise decision to do when you had to meet for a road trip at 6:00 am but he didn't quite care. Chatting with this girl made the guy happy which not many things do especially if they revolve or are something remotely related to socializing so that was saying something. Nonetheless he had slept at 3:00 am so he pretty much got some rest before being woken up by a horn at 5:30am from a quite reasonable friend of his who offered him a lift as Nash doesn't own a car yet.

Nash had felt quite awkward in the car as he only knew Felix, the girl with the very bright tank-top which blinded him he did't know but the female sitting next to him was familiar, it was an old family friend of his back when they were kids and hasn't talked to in quite a while hence why his awkwardness prevailed more so he decided to take the opportunity to get some rest till they settled. However muttering voices out of the car had managed to get his attention and slowly waking him up however the car's only occupants were him and his friends as the two girls seemed to be out to socialize and he wasn't doing that anytime soon.

Whipping out his phone from his back pocket, he constantly checked his app page (name still undecided) to see if he received any message from his online friend which he still haven't seen or known in real life but he had none to which he pouted. He clicked on her profile to send a message telling her: Urgh! Having to wake up at 6:00 am when you only slept two hours is not nice. However I don't think I will be on as much to chat due to sudden events... but I will manage to get on when I can top chat with you nonetheless. Looking forward to hearing from you again.

April was simply at her dorm room when her alarm went off and she slammed it off before burying her face in the pillow. Deciding it wouldn't look great to ditch she got up and showered quickly before putting her long wavy/curly hair into a ponytail. Waking over to her dresser, she picks out a pair of gray sweats, a navy blur tank top and a gray jacket to go over it which made her red hair really stand out. Walking over to her coffee pot she realizes she is out of coffee. There weren't any coffee shops on the way either. Crap.

April heard about this road trip and originally thought it was going to be fun but getting up before 6am, that's just messed up. Who's idea was that? She was walking outside with her suitcase rolling behind her, it was fairly small for all the things she stuffed into it for this trip. She saw a small group and she knew pretty much none of them were really like her. One girl that she could see she recognized was Alex even though she did know other people there she was too tired to process who they all were. "Hey Alex, sorry I'm a bit late" she says only meaning by a few minutes but still in her mind, it was late. April gave a small smile to everyone else. She would kill for a coffee right now but there were no coffee shops around them.

The grandfather clock inside the Cardemyr homestead read 5:45 AM. Not a sound stirred the untouched silence that filled the one-floor, minimalistic house. So it should be, who would be up and about this early in the morning, anyway? Well, Arthur, the Cardemyrs' second child, would. If you could count idly painting without making any sound at all being up and about, that is. He had been awake since 2 AM, finding nothing better to do than to paint. Sleepless nights like this wasn't uncommon for the lanky, dark-haired boy. Lack of sleep never bothered him in the slightest.

Three hours of painting resulted in a large, self-portrait of himself while painting from the viewpoint of the canvas. It was effectively a mirror image. With his piece finished, Arthur glanced at the clock nearby.
15 minutes to 6 AM. 15 minutes until the agreed rendezvous time of the road trip crew. The artist let out a tired sigh. Damn his sister Mordred for ever signing him up for this. The worst part was he could have been easily persuaded into willingly signing up, no questions asked, but she just had to do so without his counsel whatsoever. Still, there was no point in complaining now, leaving only for him to live with the consequences.

Say what you will about Arthur Cardemyr, but this man had a sense of responsibility.

At the very least Morry had the foresight to pack his things for the trip. That included the essentials; first aid, all his desirable clothes, some casual reading material and that one satellite phone her mother bought for him. Arthur now began to pack up his artist's arsenal, truly the only belongings that were of any value to him and with only the lightest of showers, he threw on a striped short-sleeved dress shirt under a black blazer with matching corduroys and walked to campus, as he always did every day.

Precisely fifteen minutes later, Arthur was already nearing the clock tower, spotting just a few of the faces that would be his company for the next sixty days. He had previously taken the time to memorize the names of everyone and associated them to the proper faces, to avoid any pointless introductions. The recluse didn't care if no one cared enough to do the same. Being a stranger suited him just fine. Arthur silently placed his belongings in a corner and sat down on top of his suitcase, proceeding to take out an oft-used sketchbook (conveniently left in his pocket) and began to draw the imposing time-keeping structure before him. Not as detailed and more stylized than his bigger works. Such were Arthur's sketches.

Having been awake since the night before, Justin donned pale skin and dark circles beneath his eyes that looked more prominent against his nearly translucent skin. The male was filled with too much anticipation to get any rest, so he dismissed his tiredness and assured himself that the excitement would fade it eventually anyways. In the distance, he spotted his ride; a black army-esque vehicle. Being new to the area, Justin still didn't know many of the others on this trip, but he was thankful a girl named Asoria offered to bring him along. As he approached the car, his gut sank with worry and he found his hands growing sweaty. Justin drummed his fingers lightly against the side of his leg as he walked, keeping his glance at the ground to avoid eye contact and keep rain from hitting his cheeks and smearing his makeup. Internally, he scolded himself for pulling back like he already had begun to do. "Not gonna make any friends like this, are we?" He murmured to himself as he finally raised his head and ran a hand through his long black hair to move it from in front of his face. Once beside the car, Justin waved a bit to the female inside who looked less than happy to be here. "You must be Asoria?" He asked, his voice slightly shaky as an attempt to hold back any stutters, "I'm Justin."

Marcel Vegas

It was honestly a crime to be up at this time and Marcel didn't even wake up this early to light one up. It wasn't that he wasn't a morning person but he doubted anyone in their right minds would have wanted to get up as early as 6:00 to head on a trip. Like himself Marcel figured everyone would be sleepy and grumpy and so it was the perfect reason to get himself in a rather....soothing mood. He scratched his head glancing at the time flashing on his clock across the room before throwing the covers back and releasing a long groan as he stretched. The only person and I mean only person that would be up at this hour would be his mother. Since she was a cop she was always up and about dashing through the house, light on her toes as she made coffee for herself and his father and then was out the door.

He shuffled across the room rubbing the sleep out his eyes as he dug in his drawer blindly feeling around until he wrapped his fingers around a plastic bag that contained his lovely weed and his bowl. Marcel plopped his body on the edge of the bed before releasing the contents of the bag into his bowl and lighting it up pulling a nice long hit. Yup this was definitely something he needed before getting ready for the trip. He had somewhat packed his bags but now he had to finish and looking at the clock once again he realized that he didn't have that much time either. After taking a couple of nice pulls Marcel exhaled and then rubbed his hands over his face.

After taking a nice soothing shower the warm water and steam from the bathroom helped bring down his high somewhat which was perfect for when he had to walk past his mom as he left the house. Marcel has heard the faint old school music downstairs and the sound of his mother humming as she moved around the house. Once his bags were finally packed he made sure that he had his weed stored off in his bag somewhere where only he could find it. Placing eye drops in his semi red eyes they only helped but so much and Marcel was sure he'd hear something from his mother.

If he took his sweet time getting ready his mother would be out the house before he knew it but then it would mean being late and that was something he didn't necessarily want to do. Marcel made his way downstairs and grabbed one of the waffles off his mother's plate as he attempted to avoid her gaze. He knew she was looking to see if he was high, which he was but before she could say anything he was out the door and on his way to meet up with the rest of the people who were coming on this trip.

When Marcel arrived there was only a small handful of people there and thinking back he could have taken a little more time in the house. When his eyes locked on with Leah's. Making his way over he wrapped an arm around her and then grinned slightly. " Well look who's coming, I really glad I came now" Marcel joked as he played with a stand of her hair just to bother her.

Leah LeBlanche

Conversing with the couple there was at that point she wasn't quite disappointed with the company, all the faces she saw were familiar although a couple were totally fresh and some not that close but as close. Leah was a person who is easy to make as your friend as her socializing skills and way of interacting with people was not one that drives them away. In fact she was quite a sweetheart when it came to it, willing to help anyone even if it is a total stranger.

However the only face she was least expecting to see had to see had just appeared causing Leah to sigh softly as he approached her "Hmm you were the least expected person on my list to show up... how the hell did you manage to get that sorry excuse of an ass out of your bed?" her tone was surprisingly playful as she was taunting before she felt a strong arm swing round her shoulders. She respected the guy and hell even more but the one thing she can't stand was unfortunately the one thing he cannot live without. Weed.

When he came into close proximity she can tell from his scent which was picked up with her sensitive sense of smell, her face making quite the horrid look however wasn't quite evident. However feeling him toy with a strand of her hair was something she quite enjoyed being that her hair was something she liked people do, well obviously closer people like her siblings or her best friend but she was never open about that, not quite valid information there. She playfully hit his chest slowly pushing him lightly "God you couldn't resist not intoxicating yourself for one morning?" She knew the answer would be no after all.

Alex quietly introduces herself to everybody and lets the group socialize. She feels slightly put off by the way the first boy to come up to her automatically decided to flirt. Sure, she had no plans to be celibate, but to her it feels a bit soon. She watches as the tension between Julian and Mr. Flirt rises, and is happy when Leah shows up.

"I know it's early, but c'mon guys! We've gotta hit the road soon before all the cars float on in." she says, giving everyone a sympathetic smile. "My name is Alex by the way." she says to no one in particular.

She watches quietly as the new person who shows up flirts with Leah, and she can't help but raise an eyebrow.

"So..." she begins, "Do any of you guys know each other?" she asks.

Part of her really hopes that Felix would just wake up so that she could have someone she knows to talk to, but the man is completely asleep, and she already knows that not even an explosion would wake him. If Alex weren't so excited about the road trip, she'd very well like to run the hell away. But she stands her ground. She turns her head and finds a man sitting down, suitcase in a corner, sketching. An artist! Alex quickly slips away and stands above him. She recognizes him from his facebook picture, and knows that he's coming too.

"Hey." she says, looking down at him. "Why are you all the way over there? The party's over here!" she says, pointing towards the group. "My name's Alex by the way." she quickly adds, holding out her hand for him to shake.

Riley had zoned out some, getting too focused on his dribbling. When he re-entered the world he noticed a new guy was tangled up with Leah. A tinge of jealousy ran through him but he raised a hand to yawn to mask the look. Riley raised his head slightly at the newcomer, offering an easy smile. "What's good man?" The smile faded some after Leah mentioned the other being intoxicated. Fuck you mean? Yo' boy drunk at 6 in the morning? Damn dog you got a problem. Riley decided to keep the silent disapproval to himself and brightened when Alex spoke.

"Alex. I'll remember it girl." The question if he knew any of the people made him look down to Julian and sigh. "Nah. I don't know these guys. I know her though. We chill at the gym." Riley tore his eyes away from Julian as the sight of the man was again putting him in a bad mood. In an attempt to lighten the mood Riley began looking around to see if anyone else had shown up. His eyes fell on another girl and his easygoing smile returned. With the other people momentarily forgotten, the young man started dribbling towards the girl with the red hair.

"What's up girl? My name's Riley. It's nice to meet you. And let me start by saying you are looking lovely this morning. Are you coming with us on the road trip? Man this thing just keeps getting better and better by the second." The young man chuckled and flashed his perfectly white teeth. His intentions weren't bad, truly, he just thought that attractive people should be told they were attractive. There's nothing wrong with that, right?

"Um...is this how you get through the day...flirting with every girl in sight?" She asks keeping a smile on her face. Putting her hands in her jacket pockets, she just stands there and waits for an answer. The only reason she said that was because no one ever flirted with her. Most people found her too up-tight and annoying and she typically was in her opinion at least and in many others. "I mean I say that because no one ever flirts with me, if you knew me you wouldn't either" she says just bluntly but still keeping a smile on her face. "And I think it's kind of obvious that I'm going on the road trip, or I wouldn't be here" she says with no hint of sarcasm in her voice.

Sketches never took long to finish for him. To Arthur, it was just a degree different from scribbling. Merely letting his hand hold a pencil could result in a crude drawing of an immediate object. That was art for him; second-nature, habitual. Instinctual. More than a hobby, more than a lifestyle. Art was who he was. (And that wasn't just a pun based on his nickname).

As Arthur prepared to sketch something else nearby, he was disturbed by an approaching woman. He recognized her; Alex, one half of the think tank behind the whole event, along with that Felix character. He reasoned that this woman wouldn't approach him with any ill will. After all, he was a part of her shindig now, so why do anything that could potentially dissuade him from attending? This is, of course, assuming she has an aptitude at all in being an organizer.

"I am well aware that the rest of the group are gathering over there," Arthur replied, with a tired tone and an equally tired gaze towards her. Seeing a hand held towards him, he had a moment of hesitation, before shaking the hand firmly. Almost too firmly, like this was his first time shaking hands. "Arthur. Arthur Cardemyr."

Alex tries not to look too grumpy at the fact that Arthur, as his name is decided to give her hand a bit of a death grip. But she decides to let it go simply because it's early and people get annoyed when they're tired, as well as rather mean. The fact that he's not sitting with the rest of the group is the only thing really off-putting to Alex, considering how she'd really rather have everything more organized.

"Pleasure to meet you, Arthur. Now, I know that it's early but we need everyone with the group and you're too far away. If you want my friend Felix can let you hang out in his car if you want some time to yourself, but please man. We might accidentally leave without you if you don't move a bit closer, and that would be a real shame." she says, folding her hands in front of herself and giving him a small smile.

Felix hears the small alarm buzz on his phone, a quick reminder he set to wake him up. He lets out a groan as he does so, but notices that his friend Nashton happens to be awake, meaning he won't have to sit in total silence.

"Awake at last." he says to his friend, letting out a light chuckle. "By the way, if anyone asks, showing up at six am was all Alex's idea. She wanted to make it so that we all met each other at our worst to see what we're all really like. But of course she's still up and about all cheerful and shit." he says, scowling.

Felix loves his friend, but sometimes she can be a bit too much for him, especially considering how good she is at acting like being awake at this hour is a fun activity everyone should try.

"You wanna get out of the car with me and socialize? Or shall we become the quiet hermits?" he asks Nashton, maneuvering himself so that he can look at the guy.

Erik was a bit of a night owl, so he was used to staying up late. He was dressed only in his socks and boxers, his brown hair messy and a cowlick stuck up in the back of it. Personally, he didn't care, and just left it. He was upside down on his couch in his dorm. A perk to having a dorm room all to yourself being you could romp around in the nude and no one would call you gross or stare at your dick. Pretty good perks to Erik. Even though his vision was vertically inverted, he played the videogame he was engulfed in pretty well. His mind went through all the things that were important, but before it got to the first one it was distracted by a victory screen. Erik fist pumped and checked his watch. It was 5:53.

"Son of a bitch!"

Erik flipped backwards off the couch and landed on his feet, slipping a little. With the press of a button on his stereo, he played the most energetic song on his current playlist. Something about the 1990s and moving fast. He rushed to the bathroom and started to shave. That was hard, mostly because he was making a shaving cream beard. He eventually finished getting rid his Dirty Sanchez and shoved his razor, a few extra blades, and cream into his suitcase. He ran into his bedroom, his toothbrush in his mouth, and threw on some random pair of jeans and his typical blue-grey Converse high-tops. His blue eyes widened as he checked his watch yet again. 5:56. A muffled curse escaped his mouth around the toothbrush and he threw on a sky blue t-shirt with a breast pocket.

"If I miss this trip, I'll be pretty blue!"

He chuckled to himself at the joke, grabbed his already packed suitcase, and dashed outside. He hurried back inside his dorm, grabbed his Gag Bag, a black and white checkered fedora, and a pair of aviator sunglasses with a gunmetal frame. He threw the duffle bag strap over his head and bolted out of the building.

Erik ran to the nearest car he saw at the Old Clock Tower, a van. He chuckled to himself as he approached it and knocked on the window of the driver's seat.

"Sorry, Mom. Looks like I'm getting in a stranger's van after all."

He was completely energetic and not tired at all. In all honesty, he was born and bred for that kind of stuff.

'We better not take long. At this rate i will fall asleep.' She thought, shivering at how cold the rain made the car. She cranked up the heat abit before drifting back into her thoughts. Then a sharp sound of a knock sounded. Sighing, Astor looked up from her thoughts. She put the coffee in the cup holder, unlocking the doors. "I am assuming your riding? Get in before you get soaked and i don't let you." She said, looking at him. "Yea, Im Astoria. It's Nice to meet you Justin. " She said, giving a slight smile. She grabbed her phone, checking the weather again. She really hoped it would clear up soon. And according to the chart she made, there was a little over twenty people going. She sighed throwing her phone back in place and grabbing her jacket. She slipped it on and opened the door and got out. "Let me help put your bags in the back." She said. She looked up at him.

Alex had built a very strong case for persuading him to join the others, but Arthur still had his own hesitations. He was certain that among those people, a few had some misgivings about his misanthropic self. Or at the very least were weirded out by his solitary life. His presence (rather, him being out of his normal habitat) could very well cause a number of conflicts. If not now, then later on the journey.

Then again, how could Arthur affirm that without at least attempting to fit in while he could?

"As you wish, then." The artist rose and hauled his belongings closer to the group. Not quite there, but still could be considered 'there'. At this distance, he held an intent gaze at the group, as if asserting his arrival silently. This was as close as Arthur could manage before socially malfunctioning. Like that time he was forced to attend prom night. Several eyewitnesses would testify to him suddenly fainting on the dance floor. He truly regretted ever going, not only was his time wasted, the rest of his partner's night had been effectively ruined. But Arthur was now wiser, he now knew his limits better than ever before.

And that alone has helped him move mountains.

The guy was too absorbed into his phone, chatting until the alarm took him off and caused him to get back to reality, "I woke up a few minutes ago... I can't take being awake at this hour man but I can't sleep" he stated as it was true, the guy felt comfortable talking normally with Felix as he got used to him despite it all. However as he asked him to go socialize it put a red flag over Nash's head and he let out a nervous chuckle "By now you should know that me and socializing don't go hand in hand.." he sighed as he remembered the first time Felix got him to talk to a girl and he had a nervous breakdown, no words came out of his mouth... well they were words just jibberish or can only be understood by aliens. What an embarrassment that was "I can go out if you go but let's hope it's not high school all over again." He sighed lightly as he looked towards his phone and not seeing her online, the girl he so wants to meet someday if they get the chance. She was out ever since this morning and this was not usual as they talk every second possible, he had his dreamy face on and that never went well.

Riley merely chuckled at being shut down and shook his head. If he gave up so easily he would never get to talk to girls at all. "Every girl? No, of course not. Just the incredibly beautiful ones, such as yourself. I was tired when I got here but when I look at such enchanting beauty I can't help myself." Of course, Riley did in fact flirt with every girl he saw, but she didn't need to know that. Riley stopped dribbling to start spinning the ball on his finger. "I don't believe that no one ever flirts with you. I look forward to getting to know you though." His grin widened even more and he offered the girl a wink. "Didn't catch your name by the way." He chose to just ignore her last comment like he hadn't even heard it.

While he waited for her answer his eyes began to wander around at the new people that showed up. He hoped everyone that was coming wouldn't be too much longer because he was ready to get out of the rain. The most unusual of all seemed to be the guy just standing there staring at them all.
How long has he been standing there? Has he said anything to anyone? Deciding it best not to speak to the guy lest he get axe murdered, Riley kept looking around. His gaze next noticed the two people in the van seemed to have woken up but he didn't recognize either. It also seemed like they were making no attempt to get out and be social.

What really caught Riley's attention was the girl that had just jumped out of the hummer. The teen's instinct was to just shout out at the girl but he stopped himself. He didn't want to be rude to the beauty he was talking to. Adding introducing himself to her to the to-do list, Riley also noticed the guy getting in her car.
Man he's got the right idea. I'm tryna ride with a hunny like that too.

Marcel Vegas

Marcel smiled down at the girls words as her sudden distaste for him smoking was quite evident. He loved to tease her and judging from her facial expression he seemed to be succeeding. The playful banter between the two was quite evident despite Leah's distaste for his...relaxation methods but hey a little weed never hurt anyone and he was almost certain she'd be a lot more relaxed if she did as well. Of course he never asked her or brought it up because smoking was his thing not hers and he respected her for that, maintain her heath to play sports and keep in shape. He took notice to how her body relaxed as he played with the strand of her hair and the smile that had disappeared from his lips returned when Leah playfully pushed his chest. " I can go without smoking if you must know, but me being up at this ridiculous time made me light one up ya know to help keep me calm and whatnot".

The last part wasn't really a lie and being up to go on a trip with a bunch of people you don't know, that was something to smoke to. For all he knew he could be spending these few days next to a murderer or some crazy person. Outer appearances could fool anyone. Of course Marcel really doubted that one, everyone looked like the typical drained college kid. He locked eyes with the basketball player in front of him, someone he had heard about but never actually spoken to. To him he looked like the typical start basketball player with the high ego but then again looks were deceiving and he didn't want to judge a guy he just met, it shallow. " Yo wassup man?" Marcel spoke to the guy briefly before his gaze was trained right back on Leah.

Dispite her displease in his smell of ganja Marcel pulled her into his arms and chuckled slightly while doing so, " Don't worry princess the smell will wear off in a bit then you'll be hugging me nonstop" Giving her a quick wink he pulled away and then scratched the side of his head as he looked around at the small group before him. There was a new guy who seemed standoffish and in his own world as he focused on a sketch and then before he could process much more another guy appeared looking like he had just hauled ass to make it on time. Marcel had no idea what this trip was going to be like with a handful of young adults and alot of tension and hormones running wild, but hey it was better than staying at home.
