The Guilds of Iprentis​

  The Moon Rose is a guild composed mainly of scholars and adventurers whoes quests often take them far from home. Originally founded by the Erwynn twins, the guild quickly rose to become a majorly recognized guild despite their small size and recent formation thanks to their discoveries. Their most crowned achievement comes from their guild master, Kiana, who revealed her discovery of a temple that held information about ancient magics that have been lost to the world since. In her discovery she ended up obtaining one of these lost arts, but without a full understanding of how these forms of magic were lost in the first place she has made it clear that others should avoid the temple in fear of something more dangerous than magic arts unknown to the modern world.
  
  Their members are diverse as they come from many places around the continent. This is partly due to the exploits of their founding members inviting those who've helped them along their journeys. As a result the guild is known for accepting just about anyone into their ranks so long as they help out with the guild's main focus from time to time. Along with diverse membership came the tales and legends from their homelands which only gives the guild more reason to uncover the secrets behind the stories.

  The Iron Wolves is a guild composed of mainly warriors and battle mages who've fought in many battles before or after joining the guild. Originally founded by Gallien, a famous swordsman, the guild was once much more intense than it is today. Due to their bloody history, some still believe the Iron Wolves to be slightly fanatical if not bloodthirsty. However, those who’ve met the current leader Kargras know that the guild has become much less battle hungry. They’re still known for going off to fight many battles, but thanks to the efforts made by Kargras and those who followed his views, the guild fights within a set of guidelines aiming to win battles with minimal casualties on either side.
  
  Although the majority of the guild are honorbound warriors and battlemages, their ranks are spotted with smiths, medics, and strategists who aid in the guild’s efforts. To those who’ve worked with the current state of the guild, they can be described as a family that strives to keep one another safe while protecting those they work with.

  The Dragon's Hoard is a guild composed of mainly merchants and treasure hunters who've earned their wealth through profitable trade deals and uncovering valuable treasures. The guild’s reach is vast thanks to their ever growing connections which makes them quite influential in a great deal of matters. Nobody quite knows who founded the guild, but it’s become accepted that Ashryn is the current head of the guild and absolute authority over the guild’s money.
  
  Beyond the guild’s wealth and ability to acquire it, not much is known about the inner workings of the guild. Even some of its own members are unsure of their goals as a guild. However, Ashryn has made it a point to partake in the new expedition going so far as to fund it handsomely and personally join the expedition. What she’s up to is anyone’s guess.

Races of Nyrvasta​

  The Furraine​
  
  The Furraine are a race of part beast and part human. They come in many general subspecies of which have qualities that differ from one another. The prominence of their bestial traits vary between each individual. Some may be very obviously inhuman, as is the case with most draconis and aviana furraine, while others maybe be subtle with minor traits such as felinia and lupisa furraine. All furraine can communicate with animals to some degree with animals matching their subspecies being the easiest to communicate with. Generally speaking they are stronger than humans, however it depends on their subspecies. In addition they can disguise themselves with magic known as glamour. Unlike typical magic, glamour does not require much to cast and almost no other magic can dispel it easily. This glamour serves to hide the furraine's bestial qualities to blend in with whatever race perceives them. However, once the specific furraine is discovered by an individual, that individual will see through the glamour, even if it is recast upon the furraine. There are six general subspecies of furraine that exist.
  
  Felinia - Felinia furraine are typically smaller and more agile compared to other subspecies. They specialize in stealth and hunting as well as being extremely flexible and coordinated with their movements. Some felinia furraine are can be larger and more physically capable, but they are less lithe and stealthy than their typically smaller felinia.
  
  Lupisa - Lupisa furraine are typically more vicious and territorial compared to other subspecies. They work extremely well with one another and can pose a threat to those who underestimate their teamwork. Some lupisa furraine are highly sociable and can be very reliable allies, but a lupisa on its own can be very dangerous if they feel threatened.
  
  Aviana- Aviana furraine are extremely light and fragile and have wings that allow them to fly. Some have both arms and wings, allowing them to more easily work with tools and interact with others, while some only have wings, making coordination with their arms poor. However, aviana furraine who's arms are also their wings are much more proficient flyers as they can remain airborne for much longer before tiring.
  
  Ursu - Ursu furraine are typically large and slow compared to other subspecies. However this lack of speed is compensated with being extremely powerful and durable. Ursu furraine usually mind their own business and are fairly peaceful, however if they are threatened in any way they will attack relentlessly until they no longer feel threatened.
  
  Rodena - Rodena furraine are typically much smaller than every other subspecies. They are extremely quick on their feet and have exceptional hearing and reflexes, making it very difficult to catch them by surprise. Due to their small size they typically do not use traditional weapons besides bows as metal weapons are too heavy for them. However this depends on their size so it's not entirely uncommon to see some rodena furraine to have conventional weaponry.
  
  Draconis - Draconis furraine are much more magically inclined compared to other subspecies. Due to their draconic blood, they are much better spell casters than most other races and are highly resilient to the same kind of magic they wield. These furraine are rare, as many died during a past war. Unlike the other furraine, draconis furraine are unable to use glamour. In addition some draconis furraine can fly and a very select few have been rumored to be able to use more than one kind of magic.

  Elves​
  
  Elves are a race that came from ancient humans and fae intermingling. Elves look almost identical to humans with the exception of their pointed ears, vibrant mono-colored eyes, and their natural attunement to magic. Elves can learn magic much easier than humans can, but they can only cast one kind of magic just as humans do. Due to their fae blood, they can sense magic more easily and in some cases even see its flow in the world around them. Beyond these few details elves are no different from humans with only one other exception. Elves typically live for around 300 years or longer.

  Fae​
  
  The fae are a magical race of sentient creatures that come in all shapes and sizes. Some are benevolent, others malicious, playful and so on. Due to their extreme diversity in virtually every aspect compared to other races they are seen as otherworldly to others not of their race. Many fae that exist today are minor creatures with powers that are strong, but can be overcome by anyone who knows their way in a fight. There is a group of ancient fae known as the Faelaunam who are extremely powerful compared to most other beings. The Faelaunam are capable of casting several kinds of magical spells, hopping between dimensions, and even bestowing gifts upon those who please them. However, these fae have not been seen in centuries and so it is believed that they either no longer care for the material dimension or have since passed away.
