This is where the characters live. Any and all Character Sheets should be posted here. No where else! I expect the sheets to be filled out with a moderate degree of detail, which will be detailed in each field. Anything in brackets on the CS should be removed. Sheets will be accepted with a like to free up clutter/chatter in this tab. Any discussions on the sheet itself will be brought up in PM or on OOC itself. Accepted sheets will also be named here with their respective owner. Sheets that have any sort of 'It's a mystery.' loophole in them and nothing else will be automatically denied. Personality:

Fatality truly is an embodiment of madness in the same sense that her father was. A typically quiet young female, she seems relatively sane on the surface. She's steady, unnoticeable from the rest of the crowd, and doesn't seem to pursue any major interests. The only thing that initially seems off about her is how she doesn't have any discernible emotions. She doesn't feel happiness, sadness, or anger the way most humans do. She speaks in a cold tone that almost puts a lot of people off. Regardless, she has a rather flirtatious personality (in a very deadpan way) and knows how to get her way purely by acting sexy. She's incredibly clever and crafty, and has learned when to play innocent and when not to. Of course, you may guess that there are a few problems with Fatality.
For one, she is delusional. Fatality does not remember her real name and therefore refers to herself by the name she has given herself--Fatality. She also believes that she is the queen of a small island nation called Freya's Wheel (note: Freya's Wheel is a type of cheese) and those she interacts with are her subjects. As you may guess, this has given her a bit of a superiority complex, which makes it almost impossible for her to listen to anyone unless addressed as a queen. She holds herself in high regard and is incredibly prideful. Due to her belief that she is a queen, Fatality is incredibly lazy. She believes that other people ought to do the work for her--she'll be supervisor.
Fatality is mad in more ways than that, however. She is a sadist who gets pleasure from watching other people hurt. Since she wasn't taught otherwise, she believes that feeling this is completely normal. She has had psychotic episodes before, usually where she gets incredibly violent. She doesn't think when she does this sort of thing.
Actually, it's questionable whether she thinks at all.

Magic:

Temporal Duplication - Fatality has the ability to summon a version of herself from another reality and use her as a shield from fatal hits. She doesn't necessarily care if this other-dimensional version of her dies, as long as it doesn't directly affect her. However, the Fatality in this reality has an equal chance of dying to her other selves.

Equipment:

A shit-ton of needles. Some of them are spiked with poison, others have Magitek where, once they hit you, they electrocute you. Fatality uses them as melee weapons.

    Appearance: Like most of his kind, he is tall and lean, with muscle tone evident even through his fur, which is astoundingly soft to the touch save for the more coarse hair around his neck. In this particular patch of hair, Kit has been known to store odd small items that he may need for later. Usually these items are "tools of the trade" for a practiced thief.

    Personality: Ki'Tavi is, well, a tough individual to read. When in a new place, or around new people, he keeps to the shadows, just watching and observing, learning as much as he can before his presence becomes known. Once revealed, he tends to be quite charismatic, using what he learned from his observations to gain the trust of those he was observing. Given he tends to adapt his approach to fit those he's interacting with, it's difficult to tell what's real and what's an act.

    The truth is, Ki'Tavi is very slow to trust others and, once that trust is broken, it is nearly impossible to repair. He's also quite opportunistic. If his loyalty hasn't been earned, he has no qualms about using and manipulating others for his own benefit, though he will not turn on those that have earned his trust and loyalty.

Personality:Ever feel like rolling over and dying? Giving up on life, and just letting despair drive you to insanity? Well that's Sod for you. He hates life, hates people, hates a lot of stuff. But he hates himself most of all. He feels like life's going nowhere for him, and that it's all pointless anyway. He constantly questions his existence, and always spouts the most depressing things. He's constantly frowning, and never stands straight. He doesn't show much emotion beyond his normal depressed manner.


He always seems tired, like he's had a long day of work, even when he's just woken up. His movements are sluggish, and lacking of life. He's never happy, has no sense of humour, and hates anything cheerful. He envies those who are happy, and optimistic. But he also envies the dead, since they no longer have to suffer the burden of life. He's cynical, and pessimistic, always seeing the bad in the world. He has little regard for his own life, or the lives of others. He doesn't care about anything, or anyone, and only does what's necessary to make it through the day. Always looking forward to a nice death.

Backstory: Have you ever woken up from a dream, and just wanted to pass out again? Like it was just such a great dream, and you were so cozy that you couldn't pull yourself out of bed? But then some asshole comes in your room, and jerks the cover off of you!? Like it affects them if I sleep in! Then you want to punch them in the face, but you don't because you don't have the energy, and you know they have good intentions. So you drag yourself out of bed, and go through the day grumpy, annoyed, and hating everything. Just waiting to lay back down in your bed, and drift off into sleep again.

That's basically how Sods feels about life as a whole. He was happily swimming in the river Styx one dreary moment. Then the next thing he knew he was being pulled back to the realm of mortals. This plus the fact he was being pulled about by a little girl made him question his sanity. Of course she seemed just as surprised about his situation as he was. He had no idea who he was, nor what his past was. He only had small glimpses of foggy scenes that seemed to depict him hanging out with several other individuals as they battled hordes of monsters.

Other than confusing Sod this also helped him remember his name. He honestly had nothing better to do being newly resurrected, and the girl who had seemingly saved him from being devoured by giant birds insisted he travel with her. So he agreed, not seeing any reason to go off on his own.

But as time went on he began to grow slowly more depressed. It wasn't long before he was attempting to kill himself. Usually thwarted by his traveling companion, or his new undead body. Even when he tried to get others to kill him they either refused, or just screwed up and ended up killing themselves. Thus far he's still alive, and he's taken to not trying to kill himself as often. Instead he waits for the prime opportunities. So no one foils him. But everything isn't so bad, his traveling companion certainly is interesting. He almost enjoys her company for some strange reason. Either way now he's simply trying to find some way to die. Not that he's sure it's even possible. But as they say there's only one way to find out.

Magic: Undead body: While this isn't a magic it is a result of magic. Thanks to this he's been revived as one of the undead. He has no sense of pain, and thanks to this he has nothing holding back his full power. However this also means if he's not careful he could over do it and wreck his own body. Which would require him to be put back together, or even have his body replaced. Thankfully the only sure-fire way to kill him is to destroy his brain.

Eye for an eye, Voodoo magic: This is a form of Voodoo magic that works well with his undead body. If a foe looks into his eyes (whether they have eyes themselves or not) then any injuries he takes will also be reflected onto them. So basically if you look into his eyes and someone stabs him you also get stabbed.

Equipment: Nothing but what his companion forces him to carry. He's not allowed to have any weapons. She says its for his own well being. Ugh.

Skills: playing dead: thanks to the fact he's already undead. The act of playing dead isn't all that hard. So basically I he ever finds it necessary he can just pretend to be a lifeless corpse.

Dead man's song: while he doesn't do it often. Sod has a wonderful singing voice. It's often said to bring tears to those who hear him.

Perfect memory: although he can't remember anything from his past. Ever since being reborn he's had no issue remembering anything. He can everything in a book the first time he's read it.

Baiting: Sod is the perfect bait, for one reason or the other monsters seem to be drawn to him. Perhaps it's his scent? Either way it helps to attract and trap monsters, or even animals.

Taking a beating: Sods great at taking a beating! Since he doesn't feel pain it doesn't bother him. Plus his body's so tough that it takes far more to keep him down than most normal people.

Tantalizing Torture!: Being undead Sod can't really taste anything. Nor is there much point in him eating anything. Since he can't starve to death. But, it seems that Sod has some sort of gift when it comes to culinary arts. He's a master of cooking! Even if he cant enjoy his delicious meals. He still seems to be able to cook most anything. Oh how cruel fate is..at least Nom can enjoy it.

Other: Thanks to being undead Sod doesn't require any food or drink. He can even survive without air. So long as his brains still intact he can live.

When Sod woke up he had a strange black book attached to him. It was full of strange scripture which besides for a few words he couldn't understand. The words he could understand being,” awaken.” As well as,” reflect.” Both of which seem to be related to his magic. However so far he's found no answers as to what secrets the book may hold.

Name: Nomura 'Nom' Nozo

Race: Draco Draco are a sub-race of dragon humanoids, or dragonoids, that more closely resemble humans than most do. This particular species of dragonoid are usually quite large in stature, easily standing a foot above your average male. Generally size dictates strength, females being shorter than males regardless of strength. Those more inclined with physical strength are generally the taller and bulkier ones, those with magical prowess are usually the smaller more petite and lithe size. There are exceptions to every rule, rarely a 'runt' is born that's a mix on either scale or generally strong with magic though still far shorter than your average Draco. The exact cause of this isn't entirely clear, rumors about it circulating to do with diet, the state of the mothers' health, and a whole host of other reasons. Though none have been tested as to whether they are true or not.

Personality: Nomura is often seen as rather calm and somewhat stoic on the surface, the Draco girl generally always having a neutral expression when she isn't speaking or being spoken too. Typically speaking this isn't often the case. While yes, she is generally calm when she isn't engaged in a conversation and simply roaming around, she often acts quite childish and immature. She's prone to small tantrum fits from time to time if especially angered though generally this requires quite a lot of teasing or generally upsetting her for it to happen. She's more often than not rather kind to others unless they manage to get on her bad side, which unless you're trying really hard to do so is actually quite hard to do.

Backstory:

Nomura growing up had a rather rough life, being one of the rare runts out of a family of Draco. It wasn't that she wasn't strong at all or anything like that she was simply small and therefore looked down upon by the rest of her village and to a degree even her parents. It didn't seem to bother her, at-least not entirely. There were times it got to her and the girl got into a few fights though generally speaking she learned rather quickly that she simply wasn't big enough to fight others of her kind, at-least not and succeed. By the age of sixteen the girl left her family and village to strike out on her own, at first being taken as a child though luckily her village did have some form of identification for her to prove otherwise.

Early on she took up work in a bakery always having had a fondness for baked goods, cakes in particular; which is where a fair portion of her extra money went into. Later on she would learn about her magic when she was tasked with going to a neighboring town to gather supplies. She was attacked by a weak monster that breathed fire, though small all Draco were trained to fight with some form of weapon; she herself using a sword. Luckily for her she was roughly the same size as it and thus rather easily fell it. Something afterwards however compelled her to eat it, rather than cooking it over a fire like a human likely would she herself tore into it rather violently and ate it as it was. Even still it wasn't normal, she seemingly almost inhaled it.

Rather shamefully afterwards she found out she could breathe fire as the monster had...though this was found out by burning down a sizable portion of the forest she was in. Fleeing the blazing inferno that was when she figured out she possessed a somewhat potent magic. In an effort to train it further she would begin taking up more tasks that involved getting supplies for her job, thus making it more likely to encounter a variety of monsters to encounter and eat. Over the years she would get better and better at this, and more used to eating the monsters on a whole.​

Roughly two years ago Nom would join up with Apex and start carrying out missions to hunt down specific monsters for her funds rather than working at a bakery. Illegal, more dangerous, but more profitable and working for a cause other than stuffing peoples faces with baked treats. One year ago would be when she came across her current travelling companion Sod, a rather odd suicidal man she still to this day isn't quite sure why she keeps around. Nonetheless she would find Sod amidst a pack of Albio, a rather fierce large bird that eats anything that it can take down in a pack. Unfortunately for this particular pack of Albio they never anticipated a small Draco girl to come across them and eat them instead. Dragging the unconscious Sod away she tended to his wounds and set up camp, the next morning insisting that he travel with her seeing as he seemed rather useless at best.

Thus for the last year they've been travelling together, more often than not Sod ending up as bait on the missions while in-between Nomura kept him from trying to kill himself. All in all a rather interesting companionship indeed.

Note: These abilities WILL be actively kept track of in a small spoiler/side bar during the entirety of the RP. I will be using dice/an RNG of some kind to ensure that it's fair and that I don't simply pick the best thing from each monster. More often than not Nomura will have abilities that make her somewhat useless/entirely situational, and even more often not have any 'magic' at all.

Nom's magic, aptly named Gorge, encompasses a nearly limitless array of abilities. However, these abilities are determined precisely by the monster that she eats. Each monster has their own unique set of abilities that they give her. Some of them even including temporary body modification. More powerful abilities fade away more quickly while weaker ones tend to stick around longer. Regardless of which all abilities fade away after a certain amount of time has passed also influenced by how long and often they're used. While Nom typically gets every ability a monster has to offer if it's too much for her mana pool to handle or if the monster itself is simply too powerful she can get only a select few or none at all, this holds true for any monster. She's not guaranteed to get what she wants nor a full ability set, however this can be reset/re-rolled by simply eating another monster.

If it's an ability or monster she hasn't eaten before her ability to use said power is often hindered greatly and far below it's normal strength. However if it's a more common ability and one she's versed in using she's often able to do so more powerfully than the monster that she ate to obtain it from.

Insight

Being a Draco, a typically wise race, Nomura is able to analyze a particular monster to find potential weak-points and in some instances the abilities it possesses. Though this requires that she observe the monster rather than pummel it, so the information stored on a monster-by-monster basis is usually quite slow.
Equipment:

Nomura carries a Draco Runic Blade that's been enchanted with Wind Runes etched along the side of it to make the blade lighter to wield than it normally would be, this is done to make it easier for her to wield with her small size. Unfortunately this does detract from weight as a whole, making it lack the weight required to pierce the hides of stronger monsters easily.

Alongside her blade Nomura packs a Magitek Pistol that fires medium powered bolts of damaging energy. It can fire approximately twenty rounds before needing to swap crystals to allow the previous time to recharge, usually taking two days to do so, or thirty if absolutely needed. However firing thirty drains the crystal entirely, causing it to shatter once popped out of the cylinder and thus be rendered useless.

Weaponry aside Nomura carries a pack that has minor healing supplies, a water canteen, and generally some kind of food. Also included in her satchel is a special set of cutlery that she uses to make the task of eating monsters quicker(Not that it's not already a bunch of blurry motions whenever she *does* eat).

Skills:

Nomura is an excellent baker, having worked in a bakery for several years she knows how to bake just about anything provided she has the ingredients. And thus during her down time she often bakes at the Apex HQ for her team-mates and some of those around town.

Nomura can be...rather convincing. By this she typically continues to pressure, poke, and prod until she gets what she wants. Not always successful however you'd be surprised at how many people get fed up at a short woman constantly nagging them for something and give them it to make them go away.

Let's face it, Nomura is small. While chubby, she's still small. And thus uses this to her advantage to slip through crowds and get into places larger folk wouldn't ever have a chance of getting into.

    Personality:
    Declan K. Nolan is a garish and headstrong warrior who flourishes in a scuffle! Tenacious and overly exulting, he will rarely ever turn the other cheek on the enemy and is easily motivated into anger when it comes to things he dislikes. He displays a wider range of emotions than just his well-known violence as he's known to be full of joyous delight one moment and deeply saddened the next.
    Though his brash judgment may be questionable to some, his fierce heart is often in the right place and he usually knows when to be practical.Though a force of absolute destruction on the battlefield, Declan is profoundly tethered to his alliances. He is severely devoted to those associated with him, often labeling them as his brothers or sisters, and wouldn't so much as hesitate to trade his life for theirs. Because of his overprotective attitude it often prevents him from trusting others as he is rather expeditious to chastise outsiders that his friends tend to welcome.

    Backstory:
    "What a better way to kill a monstrosity than another one, disguised in human-skin." Declan also known as "The Devil's Hunter" was born into a desolate village surrounded only by close members of his family and a couple of neighbors that settled down on the farmland. Childhood wasn't what you considered ideal as there was always a hardship of being brought up on a struggling farm, whether it be the soil not wanting to produce any of the crops or the continuous downpour of hail or snow that plummeted against the ground making it inhospitable for creatures, plants, and just about anything. Nevertheless despite the hardships he was still able to find some form of entertainment besides shoveling horse manure around the field, at that age you'd have to find a hobby without any other kids to play with, and that he did. Swordsmanship was the very thing that brought happiness to the young boy, locals would always find him messing about with nearby twigs/branches he'd find strewn about the yard, pretending they were mighty blades and attempting to mimic the local guardsmen's techniques with finesse! Rarely would he ever get to truly practice with his blade work until an opportunity to presented itself in the form of apprenticeship underneath a well-received individual whom only went by the name of 'Wulf'. That man's very appearance commanded respect through his sheer size and the expansive armor shielded around his physique, few would approach him because of it, all except for the aspiring young swordsman who bravely asked to be taught how to wield a true blade like the one he carried upon his back.

    At first Wulf simply shrugged off the boy, a haughty glare before letting out a puff of air before walking away from him, only a second glance would change his mind after looking over his broad shoulder and into the boy's determined eyes, something about that fiery look expressed throughout his face showed value, a future of greatness that lied in the beating heart of that child. With potential like that, he felt he'd be a fool not to train him in the art of combativeness. Although Declan's training was nothing short of grueling, this absolute beast of a man had no lack of forbearance as to him anyone underneath his wing would receive the same treatment. Age, Gender, or race did not matter but what did matter was loyalty and worth. Each day he'd put the child through the 'ringer', demanding perfection out of his swings, parries, and foot-work but anything short of that would be deemed as inexcusable, if he wasn't able to carry out a task with perfection then he would have to be forced to do strenuous physical labor but not just any kind of labor, ones that involved him being strapped with a ridiculous set of weighted armor that proved to be a burden for him, let alone any fully-grown adults. From night til' early morning would this continue, Declan's muscles would ache unspeakably as he carried out what was asked of him. His body felt as if it were drug through a shoreline full of jagged rocks, each one burying into his skin and creating a scorching burn that would be everlasting. But still he would keep going, holding back tears and any emotions that would falter his way through these challenges until Wulf had taught him all that he could teach him, vanishing soon without a trace after teaching the boy all he could. If only... If only he had stayed for another day before those beasts attacked the village, all of them even his parents were slaughtered mercilessly by these wretched monsters as he cowered away underneath the floorboards, showered in the blood of those that raised him.

    He couldn't help but shake with undeniable fear, what could a simple boy like him do against... Blood thirsty monsters such as them? Scared and lonely, all he could do was lay in a fetal position, watching one of the beasts claw at the wooden floorboards, tearing its way through the planks just to get to him. Just as he was about to meet his fate at the hands of the monstrosity, everything faded away to black as if he fainted... That familiar roar of anguish scraping against his lungs as he heard the cries of the monster, sounds of cold-hardened steel bursting through flesh over and over again. Declan didn't know what took over him... Instinct? Courage? No, it was pure undeniable rage that forced him to open his bloodthirsty eyes, staring into the lifeless ones of the corpse in front of him. By the time he was done stabbing that creature in the chest it was daybreak, with his wrath subsided and all alone he was forced to fend for himself, taking his father's horse and beginning his new pursuit of revenge through life.

    Hoping that one day he'd find those nest of monsters and slay them all.

    Dislikes:
    Inhuman monstrosities, abominations that are known for merciless actions are almost-immediately on Declan’s bad side.
    Combatants that used ranged weapons on him tend to aggravate him even further.
    Stuck-up snobs such as nobility. “Pompous jackasses, the lot of them!”
    Weak adversaries. “Not even worth my time if you cannot provide me with a decent challenge.”

  • Originating somewhere during the Rise of Magera, the Matugna are a race of humanoid beings that have unique features, traits, and abilities that stem directly from one of the six clans a Matugna comes from. Between all Matugna, their color spectrum tends to focus on cool colors (such as blue, red, purple etc). Each clan in turn has its own traditions, markings, and unique abilities that usually differ greatly from their siblings, and each Matugna from a specific clan is usually known to acquire an ability pertaining to telekinesis. The name Matugna, broken down goes:

    Matugna call themselves this, because they believe that they were gifted with the unique ability to tap into the world and draw out its force by directly utilizing its energy to manipulate and create an effect with their surroundings or themselves. This belief particular stems from the minor abilities each clan has in telekinesis, and these abilities are viewed as sacred gifts that were given to their 6 ancestors and passed on to them from times dating to Before Magera. It is also heavily believed by the Matugna that if it weren't for these unique abilities, their species, would've died out long before the heroes of Magera emerged.

    Krau' Matugna
    Krau' Matugna, are Matugna that have the ability to teleport. Out of all six Matugna clans this is one of the hardest abilities to learn to use, and it is stressed heavily by elders, that this ability should never be used without strong concentration or focus- else the result could lead to death. Krau' Matugna, are trained how to begin using this ability at the age of 6 like all Matugna are, and their training is said to be complete at 18. There are of courses variations or the occasional difficulties with this where some tend to complete their training later or never end up completing it due to complications or other issues, but a Krau is said to have achieved completed their training only when they are capable of teleporting like it was second nature.

    Note: Very few Krau truly master this ability.

    Most Krau'Matugna have horns, very few have tails. In the Krau'Matugna clan, it is believed that those with 6 horns, are directly linked to Krau, the teacher of all Krau and the founder of their clan.

Alex is a young teenage boy, standing at a height of 5’6” and weighing 142lbs. He is slim but toned, with adequate muscle to him, and he generally carries a very confident and proud posture. His eyes are a very light brown in colour, and his hair a light pink. His appearance is generally very well kept and groomed, as he likes to always looks his best and there are no signs of any scars or marks on his body. At first glance, Alex comes off as incapable due to his appearance as a whole, he looks and is young, especially young for somebody with such a reputation and renown in their profession, and perhaps even the whole country. Alex has a baby face, and he looks as though he is about 12 years of age, however, he is not. For attire Alex tends to wear clothes that supply adequate protection from the weathers and attack, but he focuses on making sure that his gear is the best for his career. He enjoys looking smart and well kept, and that has seemingly impacted how he looks on the job too. Just from his appearance alone, you can tell where he hails from.

Personality
Alex, the “Britanic Genius” is a very happy-go-lucky and kind young man, with a very innocent yet very serious outlook on life and a strong determination to cause an impact on the world. He is very patient, carefree, and most of all, intelligent. Despite his young age, his intelligence is first class and it continues to develop more so by the day. Alex loves knowledge in all of its sources, and he is always striving to further increase his own although, there is nothing he loves more than being able to share his knowledge with those who need it. Alex absolutely adores his nation and it’s culture, being very passionate and opinionated about it and at times, has shown to get quite annoyed when people insult or mock it. In general, Alexander detests violence. He deems it unnecessary and doesn’t like any kind of violent profession, or even races that revel in it, mainly the monsters. He believes that everybody has the right to an education, and often goes around distributing books and learning equipment to the poorer communities wherever he travels should they want it. Whilst Alex is very kind, he can get extremely serious about things. And while patient, certain things can blow his fuse almost entirely, resulting in him doing out of character things. Despite that he is phenomenally composed at times, and will often use his enhanced intellect to shut down or scare away any critics that come his way. This type of magic focuses on, and revolves around the manipulation, accumulation, and control of metal within its entirety. The user is able to utilise this magic in order to shape and create dangerous projectiles, to even creating near impervious shields that can’t be broken easily. As this branch of magic focused on metals, anything created/manipulated by the user features great thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as great durability. Metals can be bent, unrelentlessly hammered, and even pressed permanently out of shape but are capable of maintaining a resilient strength and never breaking or even cracking in the slightest. As well as being able to create their own metals, users are able to also manipulate pre-existing metals found anywhere within the world, and with metal being almost everywhere; from being in the ground we walk on to even the very buildings we live in, to other everyday items, weapons, and the like, there is always a resource nearby that the user can access. Personally, Alex has a mastery over steel and iron, and an expert level with gold, being able to accumulate these at will and using a pre-existing resource of these to improve its power and other attributes. Any other metal, Alex can still manipulate, but only with a source nearby.

Alex has a great amount of capability with his magic despite his young age and hatred for combat, and he is forever improving and growing alongside his already impressive skills. He is capable of manipulating and creating metals with ease and for a variety of purposes, as well as changing its properties for various gains/purposes. Alex detests fighting, he is isn’t the fighting type but he can most definitely handle himself. He will only ever fight when necessary, and tends to use his magic for menial things in order to help him in his day to day life.

Weaknesses
- If subjected to very extreme heats, the metal can melt (some easier than others, can still be manipulated in molten forms but will not be a durable defence)
- If subjected to sheer colds, frozen etc then the metals can become exceptionally brittle.
- Vulnerable to magnetism (except gold, which isn’t magnetic)

Alex doesn’t really carry much equipment on his person, despite the numerous scrolls and books that he usually has on his person. However, Alex does always carry around with him a very large golden metal staff, that is traditionally given to members of his family with each one being unique to its wielder, as it is fused entirely with the sole wielder with them being the only ones able to utilise it. The staff is magical, and it enables the owner to fuse their magic with it for numerous effects. On top of this, Alex does carry various magitek equipment that can be used for his scholarly and adventurer lifestyle such as grappling hooks to night vision lens attachments.

The Oracles Eye

This piece of magitek is one of a kind, many prototypes have been made in order to mimic it but none have succeeded. Alexander got this piece of first class magitek from his teacher as a gift when he was 14 years of age. This magitek takes the form of a contact lens that is permanently inserted into its owners eye, giving them enhanced vision in nearly all aspects, being able to zoom in and out, thermal/night vision lens, lock targets, track targets, scan items/objects for weak points and even for general information about said item or even person. Not only that, but it also has a scanning device inserted into it as well as a memory core that stores all knowledge that the eye has seen (via books, scrolls, letters, verbal conversations it’s owner has, key historical information and a vast array of magitek/Magera information and more). The Oracles Eye has its own built in AI, whom of which is known simply as The Oracle (O.R.A.C.L.E Artificial Intelligence Unit .01). She is a vastly sought for piece of magitek that of which is in Alexander’s ownership, and as a scholar, this equipment aids him EXCEPTIONALLY well. Due to The Oracle, Alex has a great depth of knowledge at his disposal, and it is why he is so smart and a sought for researcher as well as a very renowned citizen, despite his young age. The Oracles Eye is inserted into Alex’s left eye, and when not in use, appears identical to his right eye. However when it is in use, it’s true appearance shows.

Skills
Alex is exceptionally smart, beyond smart for somebody his age. He is an excellent tactician, and can read a face like no other.

He has excellent skill with his magic, being able to use it effectively and in almost any situation, but he detests combat almost entirely and thus, hardly ever used it for combatative purposes unless absolutely necessary. Alex is exceedingly agile and quick on his feet however, able to slip out of sticky situations without drawing attention to himself and getting into a brawl.

He is a young scholar, archeologist, and adventurer, and a fine one at that, dubbed one of the best in the Kingdom of Britania, and one of their smartest citizens. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and is actually quite sought for, however he prefers to keep to himself, although willing to lend a hand and help those who need it. He will gladly share his knowledge, and is always striving to find more.

He is VERY persuasive. Alex is a very silver tongue and generally is not afraid to barter/persuade somebody for his gain.

Ikora is a fun-loving, intelligent, and energetic individual. She has a love for nature, fighting, and the wonders of magitek. Magitek has always been apart of her life ever since she was young, so sometimes when impressed by ones magitek; she can’t help but geek out. Backstory:

Ikora was born in the harsh environment of Southern Kingdom of Zeino. At the young age of five she was abandoned on the streets by her parents and left to die. It didn’t take long her to adjust to her new lifestyle. She learned to become a street rat, stealing to survive. She went day by day, looking over her shoulder and trying to take care of herself the best way she could. By the time Ikora reached the age of seven, she was well known around the Kingdom. She went by many names, none being a compliment. They mainly called her “scum”, “thief”, and a “menace”, but in reality she’s just a poor young girl trying to survive in the world.
One day, the people planned to capture Ikora and set a trap for her leaving bait they knew she wouldn’t refuse; a sack full of food. As they predicted Ikora came for the food, but only to be ambushed before she could even reach it. The people surrounded her and started beating her with wooden objects, and their hands and feet. Ikora later on the growing, curled up in a ball, yelling at them to stop. She was filled with sadness, fear, and anger. As the beating continued her body started to glow red until a burst of red energy knocked everyone away. The force left everyone stunned, and confused; including Ikora. She got to her feet, examining her body noticing she was covered in red energy, but soon both the energy and her vision started to fade. But right before she cut, she noticed a masked man catching her before she fell.
When Ikora awoke she was in the front of a wagon next to the masked man, who was now unmasked. The man explained to Ikora how he took her out of Zeino and are now on the way towards Aleksa. Another thing he informed her on is that, one she unlocked her magic and two he’ll help train her. Everything was so confusing, but one thing she was certain about is that he saved her life, so she owes him. Years went on and Ikora stayed by the man's side training and building her magitek, all in secrecy.

Aura Magic
This magic allows the mage to transform their magic power into a physical representation of their will by using their soul to push the desired amount of magic power from their body before controlling it with their mind. The portion of magic power that is released is affected by their soul and acts according to their inner wishes, causing it to become a lot stronger, versatile, and easier to control. The new energy brought forth by this transformation is known simply as aura.
In theory Ikora is able to emit and control aura to perform offensive maneuvers, whether it be for long range attacks or short range. She is able to use it defensively, molding into barriers or using it to reflect attacks. The many number of offensive and defensive options he has with aura comes from his ability to alter it many ways such as its state of matter or its temperature. Temperature being hot as fire or cold as ice. But the actual fact regarding her control is that she’s only able to create constructs and infusing magitek and other objects. The bladed constructs she’s able to create are known to be able to cut three metal, while the strength of the barriers depend on how many times she’s created one/ how many she’s created at one time.

Ikora has two pistols that fire red concussive energy, strong enough to stagger even the largest of monsters. The pistols can fire at full auto, semi auto, or even a charging blast. The thing about the charging mode is that the long she charges the stronger the concussive Force. It’s also known that she’s able to infuse her aura to increase the power of her pistols.

Ikora’s goggles are a more simplified and fashionable version of the famous “Oracle Eye”. These goggles allows her enhanced vision; which includes, enhanced zoom, Night, X-ray, Infrared, and ultraviolet. An extra feature of this goggles is its tracking mode, which helps her locate the last monster/ person she’s encountered.

Personality: Most people know Henry as the eldest, most responsible Jameson brother. But those who know him well enough also know he's the scary brother. Due to their parents abrupt passing. They lost everything, besides each other that is. So Henry had to grow up fast. He didn't have time to play around. He was responsible for his two younger brothers. Acting more as a parent than older sibling. He's kind, always caring about others before himself. He always did whatever he needed in order to take care of his brothers, and still keeps tabs on them. He doesn't like to be negative, always trying to set a good example, and do the right thing with a smile. But his younger brother Edward doesn't make this easy. If anything he's probably the person who gets on his nerves the most. So when it comes to Ed, Henry tends to forget himself. Often yelling, and scolding him, more like a parent than an older sibling. But Alex is always meet with affection, and concern. He dotes on Alex, mainly due to him being the youngest, and not being a handful like Ed.

Henry's one and only true love however, is his Beautiful wife Nazura. He’s never been one to judge someone for things they can't help. Which may be part of the reason he and Zura fell in love. He immediately found her fascinating, and has been smitten ever since their encounter. She's part of his family, so he's just as protective of his wife, as he is his brothers. But if it came to siding with one or the other in an argument. Well, he tries to stay out of it. But if that can't be helped he’ll choose the person he agrees with most depending on the argument. He's very diligent in his work, but always makes sure to fulfill his wife’s needs. Henry's not one to be easily deceived. Although he does tend to ignore somethings, playing stupid if it suits him. Usually whenever he doesn't want to seem a threat, or someone's getting what they deserve.


As much as his siblings might get on his nerves.(at least Edward) Henry still loves them with all his heart, and would bring down the wrath of the Gods upon anyone who would do them harm. Thus explaining why he's the known as the scary brother. Besides being responsible, caring, and scary. He's also fascinated with mythos, and while he's no genius like his youngest brother. He's still well versed in many mythos. He's used all the mythos to find his way to the gods he's contracted with. While he's no master of his magic. It is a very difficult magic to learn, and he's gotten farther than most who've been practicing for twice as long as himself. He's a very dedicated, patient, hard working, strong, and loving individual. Who always puts family first.

Backstory:
Henry grew up as the first born of the noble Jameson house of Britannia. His family was always very wealthy growing up. As the oldest he was expected to set a proper example. He represented the next head of the house after all. So he studied diligently, and worked hard in order to honor his family's name. Years went by and eventually the family grew with the addition of two new sons. His little brothers, Edward, who would grow up to be a rebellious troublemaker, and Alex the youngest, who would turn out to be a prodigy. Going on to do many great things out in the world.


Of course at the time Henry found them both annoying. Mainly due to being the eldest child for a good portion of time. He was not pleased with sharing the attention, and it took him some time to eventually get over his jealousy. But he didn't truly start to cherish his siblings until their parents passed away. The whole situation was suspicious, and by that time Henry was old enough to know better. His parents had been assassinated, and those in charge tried to cover it up.



It wasn’t long before Henry and his brothers lost everything. They were orphans left on the streets without a penny to their name. So all lost and alone in the world. Henry had to take responsibility. From that day onward he raised his brothers. Learning many new skills such as cooking, cleaning, changing diapers….ok, it wasn't all pleasant...but they managed. Henry worked many jobs, honestly he took work wherever he could get it. Him only want the best for his siblings. Eventually they got old enough to take care of themselves, and Henry could finally relax...HA! Yeah right! Edward was just as troublesome as always! Going around being all rebellious, and getting into trouble. Alex was a good kid, but he was always going off on his own doing god knows what! Worrying Henry to death. Over the year Henry had really become quite the overbearing parental figure. But as time progressed, and he got more accustomed to their hijinks. He began to mellow out if only a bit. Which was pretty easy to do once he got married.


You see, once the boys were old enough to get their own work. Henry took on a job as a monk of sorts. A spiritualist, as it were. He began to study his new magic in secret under the guise of religious work. This went well, and one day after work. He decided to go shopping for dinner. It had been some time since they all had a nice family meal together, and this was the perfect opportunity. Of course it wouldn't be anything large as his new job didn't pay the best. But when he was about to start shopping he found himself in between a scuffle. A tiny albino girl had hid behind him, obviously hiding from the angry store owner who was chasing her. Apparently she had “freed” some chickens, and the store owner wasn't very happy about it. Henry didn't want to get involved, but he found her adorable, and the entire situation humorous. It reminded him of his days raising his brothers.



So after using what money he had to pay for the liberated fowl. He decided to talk to the girl. It took some time for her to trust him. But after a long talk he got her name, and walked her home. Many visits later they would wed, expanding the family from three, to four. He's recently been doing his daily studies, helping out his temple how he can, and making sure his family members stay out of trouble. Of course his work entails he often go off on his own little adventures to find new gods. So he's not always home, but he always takes his wife Nazura with him, and Edward if he's just being a layabout as always. His life may not be an easy one, but he sure does love it. So long as his family's safe, and happy. Then he's happy.

Magic: Spiritualism: this is a magic in which one through many years of meditation, obtains a higher sense of being. So that they might connect with the spiritual world, and beings within it. There are many ways to go about using spiritualism. But Henry uses a form called unity. Where he becomes a vessel to the beings he is contracted with. It takes one with great determination, and focus to master this magic. Even with his many years of meditation, and studying. Henry has not managed to master it. But he has at least gotten to the point where he can utilize the powers of the gods he's contracted with.

Divination: By reading the energy of the world, and listening to the whispers of spirits. Henry can usually find anyone he needs to, or even be warned of great calamities ahead of time. He usually uses this to check in on his brothers though.

Contracting: “I hereby call upon the Divine guardian of this land. Come, so that we may be bound by the great contract of the Grand Master of deals Biander!”

This is usually the incantation one uses when they wish to form a contract with a god, spirit or demon. Now anyone may form a contract with a spirit, as they are being bound to the human world through some means. Whether it be that they once lived in it, or were created through some form of focused emotion in it. There are many ways a spirit can be bound to the mortal plane. However, contracts with Gods, or demons is much more dangerous. If one has contacts with a god, they cannot form contracts with demons, and vice versa. The two forces do not mix. So if one where to try they'd destroy their soul. Leaving only a hollow husk behind.

So once you've contracted with one, don't try to contract with the other. Even if you don't, it takes greater focus, and Diplomacy to form contracts with these higher beings bound to heaven, and hell. God's only contract with those they deem worthy, and Demons with those they find an easy target, or those who can best them in some form of competition. It's not rare that someone wishing to form a contract with a god will be required to do some form or challenge to prove their worth. If one can succeed in this challenge they will be allowed to form a contract with the god. The same can be said for demons, and their challenges. One must first find the place where the god, or demon resides first. Usually this is a shrine, or hidden area where the beings watch over the human world, influencing it to their content.

The danger does not end with simply forming a contract. There are several limitations to this. They are as follow

Realm of power: Each god has an area where they are strongest. This usually being where their shrine, or hidden realm was located. When outside of this realm their power diminished. So if Henry were to summon his water god in the land ruled over by a fire god. Then it's power would probably be close to its own. As water has an advantage against fire, although it wouldn't be at full power. However it would still be stronger than if it were in the domain of a plant god, or something god whose powers counter its own.

No Pantheon: While he may have several contracts with gods at once. He cannot access multiple gods powers at once. So he would need to take the time to switch between his gods.

God's wrath: Since Henry uses God's, rather than demons. He suffers from god's wrath when fully invoking the power of the gods. When he calls upon the full power of a god. He risk the chance of backlash, and being destroyed by said powers. Unlike someone who uses demons, who risk turning into a monster themselves, and no they don't just get overpowered demon powers. They lose their mind, turn feral, and become more beast than man. Losing any capabilities of using their former abilities. If anything, they're no more a threat than before becoming a demon. But either of these are things only likely to happen if someone unleashed the full power of a demon, or god, and stay in this form for far too long. However, in this form the abilities of the demon, or God are at the height of their power. Well as strong as the area you're doing battle in will allow at least. This lets Henry cause small disasters. Capable of wiping out villages. However he himself can only hold this power without risk for 10 minutes.

Three elemental Gods

Yam: God of crushing waves. The voice of reason among his Gods. Yam is sensible, intelligent, and at times ruthless. He shows no mercy to enemies. Equipment: Talisman: These acts as wards against evil spirits, as well as beinf communication devices. He's given one to all his family just incase.

Staff of the earthly vessel: This is a staff that assist him in better controlling the energy of the spirit realms. It can absorb spirit energy, making it useful as both an offensive and defensive weapon. However it can only absorb so much energy. So to much and it overloads. Some would look at Nazura and come up with some pretty quick assumptions. It’s hard not to. The poisonous gaze that stems from narrowed eyes, the lips that purse when disapproving words are sitting on her tongue, and the fingers that tend to twitch in annoyance when she’s found herself in an uncomfortable predicament. But what most people don’t expect is the soothing tone that falls from her mouth the moment she has worked up the courage to speak. The chiming laugh that resonates when bubbled forth. All things pleasant, almost alluring seem to resonate from her being when you’re one she enjoys being around, like Henry. Mostly just Henry. Zura is tolerant to say the least and it’s an amazing trait to have when dealing with the family she found herself married into. The Jameson’s....Those boys would drive anyone insane but even so, they’re family. Mentally she’s barely a woman as her ability to find amusement in the smallest things is unrivaled. So don’t let her mature physique fool you. Speaking of deceiving, it’s in her nature to be sly and to watch. If one could find pleasure in simply observing the world, Zura would fit the description. Yuzu the snake! Yuzu is the representative of the year of the snake in living form. This makes him a god of sorts, but more of a mythology type being. Usually he remains dormant as a spirit within Zura and doesn’t manifest a physical form. The two are completely in sync, sharing one mind and giving her access to certain abilities. Due to being a host there is one physical betrayal that marks her as such; her right eye. When using any sort of magic it will become snakelike and change in color. Fun fact; Her hair can also grow longer and turn into snakes! It’s rather Medusa-y but it comes in handy when dealing with someone or something in close combat. When an actual snake, Yuzu is elegant but he's a pretty bulky big boy. His gaze can entice enemies, leaving them defenseless, or rather in a state of immobility as if they've been turned to stone. Like most giant snakes his body can squeeze a living being to the point of asphyxiation within a minute. As is Zura's, his bite is deadly and the cure to such a rare poison is almost nonexistent. For good conscience purposes, the herbs needed to counter it are always carried on her person in case she has a change of heart which is almost laughable because the odds of that are extremely slim.

A long intricately carved staff was given to her as a small child. It was explained to her to be used as a tool for protecting herself and others. Being a guardian for Yuzu, the task is an important one and indeed one she is very dedicated to. A snake sheds it skin, it becomes anew. A human harms itself, they shall be renewed. The properties of the staff allow it to channel and enhance healing magic, Zura‘s one naturally gifted magic.

This is a completely defensive but deceptive magic and many whom encounter it still have no idea how it even works. Long story short, one aiming magic or objects in Zura’s direction will always seem to miss their target. The only thing Zura cannot intercept with this magic is the human body itself.


Backstory;
I’m just a simple shrine maiden! Really. You thought that was going somewhere else but alas I have no exciting story for you.

Zura comes from a very disciplined and historically tradition heavy family. It is said that most babies from her family are blessed with powers revolving around the year they were born. Some become guardians, tasked to housing and caring for such spirits. Others become naturally yet alarmingly gifted with the element their birth year leans towards. As is obvious now, the year of the snake is when Zura had the honor to be born in. Or was it? Snakes are naturally deceiving creatures in lore. And thus because of it most of her family avoided her. They didn’t outcast her but to one looking on the outside, it sure seemed that way. She ate alone, practiced magic and her hobbies alone, and it was from this solidarity that her quiet personality stemmed from. People didn’t trust what came out of her mouth so why speak at all? It was more of a nuisance than anything to be judged so harshly simply because of the nature of a spirit residing within her. But they were one, so everyone around her assumed there was no difference. Perhaps they were right but at least she had Yuzu. She would always have Yuzu.

Until the fated day she came across, let me rephrase that... stumbled and not so elegantly slammed herself into Henry Jameson. And the catch? There was none. He fell too.

    Dana Witzerket is what you’d consider a unique personality, especially being someone who is seemingly incapable of sadness and rarely shows any other sentiment except for happiness. His odd trait allows him to have an unnaturally 'sunny' disposition towards almost anything, even if it's involving the aftermath of a horrific tragedy. Dana also reacts to sensations of pain in a particularly abnormal way which some would find to be similar to that of a masochist, distracting himself with his upbeat mindset instead of getting sensual gratifications from it and rarely feeling any actual pain. Because of his bizzare characteristic any threatening behavior directed towards him will rarely phase him aside from him proposing optimistic solutions to their violent behavior. Nevertheless, it’s unwise to underestimate his friendly disposition for weakness as Dana may resort to a life-threatening approach if someone were endanger his friends. Other traits may involve flirtatious remarks to others he deems physically alluring, sometimes getting into things that are a bit over his head as an end result.

    Backstory:
    A living enigma, Dana's upbringings as a child have been shrouded in complete mystery. Earliest memory that he can actually recall was a deafening noise surrounded by a blinding bright light with a sensation of joyous energy sprouting within him like a sapling but even with this sensation overflowing throughout his body, it felt as if a part of his own humanity was torn from him. Countless feelings such as desolation, hatred, disgust, and so forth felt as if they had simply disappeared as if they hadn't existed within Dana at all, like it were a figment of his own imagination. Embracing this newfound gift of his, Dana sought out a new journey to help those who could not find 'happiness' and luckily for him he found someone in desperate need of his help although he wouldn't want to admit it, most likely because he didn't want his help, a signal unperceived by a clueless Dana. Sod, nicknamed 'Sad Sod' was hastily discovered by Dana after noticing a bleak looking figure in the distance attempting to end its life but failing miserably at it. Knowing that ending such a precious life would be a waste, Dana sprung into action and saved him despite his complaints of wanting death. Shocking was a word to describe Sod, Dana was bewildered at such a familiar sight! Someone who was incapable of emotion other than everlasting sadness, like him except with happiness.

    This Sod person felt as if he were a missing piece to his puzzle, a puzzle that would help unlock Dana's warmth of feelings once again as long as he could keep this dangerous friend of his from trying to hurt himself, which was easier said than done. Dana acted as a protective guardian over this misunderstood character yet as heroic as this deed may seem to some, he couldn't help but feel like a villain for always stopping him. Back and forth, like a swinging pendulum this continuous event of him saving Sod kept its pace as they continued many memorable adventures together, creating brilliant stories for the two, and at some points Dana even considered Sod to be family despite not truly knowing his background. Then it happened, Dana knew it was inevitable for both their adventures to come to a conclusion but not in the way he expected. Without warning both of them came clashing blades, a true struggle for life and death for both of them which turned out in Sod's favor after overpowering Dana who was severely weakened after the brutal collision of powers. Dana's life flashed before his very eyes as a determined Sod approached him with a blood thirsty look carved in his very demeanor, it was at this point where instead of taking Dana's life, he managed to take his own instead. For once, Dana was unable to protect him.

    Dana spoke out in a pain-stricken voice while looking at the seemingly lifeless corpse of Sod laying before him. All of this felt so surreal to him, as if it were a nightmare birthed into reality. But from his 'death' he discovered an emotion that he didn't think was possible, actual sadness. Each tear that streamed down his cheek was a reminder of what he was after but then again he didn't knew if it was worth having these destroyed memories with him. After leaving Sod's body, Dana escaped from the former life he once lived and decided that he needed a purpose to live for, even though he wasn't what he'd call a 'killer'. An opportunity eventually presented itself in the form of a letter which would grant him a 'new life' but as an Assassin.

    It is said that Dana had vanished after that very day, but that would soon change after his new discovery.

    Sod "Sad Sod": One of Dana's many relatives, Sod is considered to be family in his mind which is one of the few reasons why he's so determined to find out his whereabouts after both of them were separated when traveling. Despite Sod's feelings towards Dana he doesn't hold any sort of resentment towards him and will always attempt to protect him from harm's way even if Sod wishes for death, Dana will prevent him from fulfilling it.

    (Dana was born with androgynous features meaning he has a combination of both male and female characteristic, mainly female features that compliment his flamboyant personality. However this sometimes attracts unwanted attention to him.)
    (Dana partially embodies the emotion of "Happiness" or "Joy". Although this is true, this doesn't mean he's capable of other feelings.)
