Colosseum King of the Fist

Jagson

One Thousand Club
After World War three the economy tanked leading to a global great depression. In the wake of the depression four corporations took control of the world. The Genzo corporation, Disney, La valruen, and McGarrack. In the years that fallowed the world was divided into four classes, The common wealth. Those that live in the life of luxury, the Busniess, those that have a decent living, The commons those that while have work aren't living that well, The Scrubs known for living in terrible conditions, considered violent to most people, though in reality they aren't much different from anyone else they were just delt a terrible hand.

Genzo Corporations CEO Lin Genzo having been found of martial arts when he was younger as well as a kong fu master decided to hold a martial arts tournament every five years called the king of the fist. The winner of the tournaments will be given one billion dollars and a place in the Common wealth.

I'm amazed that these corporations even let us, the common people, learn martial arts.

This is the future, but is it like an advanced cyberpunk or outright sci fi world? Have we regressed and gone back to medieval times, where guns and firearms are uncommon and people need to defend themselves the old fashioned way?

These tournaments, are they KO only? Or is there a bit of Mortal Kombat in this Street Fighter/Tekken/DOA dystopia?

Sorry for the twenty questions, but I'm very intrigued by this.

The corporations don't care if people learn martial arts. As long as they fallow the rules.

It depends on where you live. The common wealth have advanced cyber punk like tech while the Scrub districts regressed to early twentith century tech.

Guns are still around. Just because this is a fighting rp doesn't mean guns are uncommon.

KO or ring out no fatalities.
I hope that awnsered your questions.

Aaah, dunno even. I might join if anyone announces themselves an as experienced and viciously technical hand-to-hand roleplay fighter. If it's just your run of the mill crowd who's never done it on a regular basis i think i'll just lurk the main event - not to sound pretentious, but to come out of a long retirement i want a chance to throw with someone who can really warm the blood.
