Magical Girls, beacons of hope, love, joy, friendship, and purity in a world of rough black and grey. Before the Uprising they were the most powerful weapons in the arsenal of the forces of good. When demons arose that even the Empowered couldn't stand against the Magical Girls stood in opposition and banished it to the darkness. When alien's descended and the Genius couldn't comprehend their technology the Magical Girls brought their ships down. Criminals were captured, Villains were brought down. All stories ended with happily ever after.
Until that incident.
A Mad Genius had deployed a massive machine to fight off a local group of Magical Girls, and despite having a High School Goddess on their side the Genius managed to make a good showing of the fight, lasting long enough to see his actually plan brought through as a dirty bomb exploded in a local middle school that was being used as an evacuation point. The Genius simply laughed and mocked the girls, asking if they knew any of the people he killed. He offered his hands to the police, thinking that he had finally managed to out think his childish foes. Before the authorities could put the cuffs on him one of the younger of the group, a girl of ten whose outfit was so pink it was blinding, shot a bolt of mixed pink and white energy through his heart, killing him.
The historical records are hazy about what happened next, but it was decided that the Magical Girl would be tried for murder, seeing as the Mad Genius was defenseless at that point. Of course the court hearing would be all show, and she would have most likely been let off with a slap on the wrist and an excuse of the 'pressure' getting to one so young. But seeing one of their own taken in, mocked as a killer, seeing their own images brought down from beloved heroes to dangerous weapons clicked something in the minds of the High School Goddesses. Humanity didn't deserve to rule itself, they were too foolish to be allowed to do so. So in order to prevent a tragedy the High School Goddesses, the most powerful of the Magical Girl's came together and gathered their forces, gaining the alliances of every Magical Girl on the planet.
Then they took over the world.
Of course it wasn't that easy, there were fights, Heroes, Villains, Magi, Witches, Demons, Soldiers, Empowered, and both Mad and Sane Genius's. But even with the various powers of the world the Magical Girl's were each a force of their own. They possessed power, intelligence, and magical power that dwarfed any individual. Even the weakest Magical Girl was stronger then any single person. And when combined for a single goal they crushed everything and built a new world in their image. A perfect image, a world in which happy and honest people lived, and everyone else was purged.
Anyone who doesn't fit the mold decided by the High school Goddesses was executed in the name of the new Justice. Magical Girl's were given the right to decide life and death on a whim, killing any who might prevent them from achieving happiness. Since the total defeat of humanity twenty years have passed, and in that time no Magical Girl has aged a day by means that no one quite understands, but at the same time no new Magical Girls have been born. At this time there are two hundred and sixty Magical Girls, each with the power of an army.
In order to reclaim the world, reclaim human destiny, the only option left to people is this, a mission and a creed: Kill All Magical Girls.
So thats the idea, interest?
Defined Terms
Magical Girl: Young girls (Ranged age 9-17) with grasp over massive power. Their bodies are near universally resistant to damage, and their strength is something beyond belief. Despite this all Magical Girls possess a unique weakness that pertains only to them, making the effective destruction of a Magical Girl something that comes from either intensive studying, or such massive firepower that even they can't resist.
Lil Princess: The term for a younger Magical Girl, usually aged 9-12. Weaker in direct combat, but prone to massive bursts of energy when angered.
Middle School Masters: The term for a Magical Girl aged 13-15. The don't possess the raw strength of their younger versions, but make up for it with a deep understand of their abilities and imaginative use.
High school Goddesses: The oldest Magical Girls, 16-17. They combine the raw power of the younger generation with the firm control of the middle generation. Only ten are left active due to a civil war that occurred halfway between the occupation of the world. The leader of the coup was sealed in the North Pole under a massive dome of ice kept frozen by a squad full of Magical Girl's to contain the rouge Goddess.
Genius: A human born with an advanced intellect and a firm grasp over some field of science. Those who retain their sanity work on defensive and healing creations to benefit humanity. Those who feel they are owed something due to their talents are called Mad Genius's, and will create more offensive capable inventions at the cost of their sanity.
Empowered: A human born with enhanced abilities or a special power, divided into both Heroes and Villains depending on their mindset and abilities. Heroes are often very giving and kind, and blessed with defensive abilities or the ability to heal. Villains are selfish and filled with desire, manifesting as attack based powers.
Magi/Witch: A human born with a connection of the unknowable forces of magic. A Magi communes with the natural mana in the world and can shape the elements to their will while still holding true to themselves. Witch's lose themselves in the flow of magic and often lose bits of their humanity, either by overuse of magic or contracts with Outer Forces.
Outer Forces: The term used to describe Demons, Monsters, Alien's, and other nonhuman foes that exist against the world.
Soldiers: Humans who equip themselves with whatever they can in order to fight back against the Magical Girls and their forces.
The Game
Players will make up a single cell within the overall rebellion against the Magical Girls, being granted the choice to pick between targets and enter into an area to investigate or confront their targets at will. Different Magical Girls will require different approaches in order to defeat. The main goal is to have your group successfully assassinate the Magical Girl while also trying to accomplish side objectives without bringing down the full might of their combined forces on yourself. Do enough and you might be able to level the playing field given enough time. Fail and death is the kindest option that might be shown.
