Sora Akihito

Sora looked up at his new school, Hopes Peak Academy, it was grand and large for a high school, but it was the best in the nation so go big or go home. His bag for school on his back, the items inside was three packs with twenty pencils in each, two sharpeners, and a phone in his left pocket and his wallet in his back. He stepped across the line for the gate to the academy, his luck running out as he fainted on the spot, the darkness at the corner of his eyes consuming him as he blacked out and fell asleep.

When Sora woke up from his slumber, he pressed his hand against his head, as he remembered memories although he couldn't remember how he got here. He looked as where he was placing his free hand on the Auditorium's wooden planks. "Talk about a rough start." He said to himself, as he got up from his laying down postion. The Super High School Level Luckster, started to look around finding other students, around sixteen of them that were still sleeping. However the thing that interested him the most was the massive iron lock that was locking them in the auditorium. Wait where is my stuff..he thought, he had lost his bag and his phone, however everything else he had was still with him, taking out a ¥5 coin, flipping it over and over until the others woke up or someone would give them answers.

(Sorry about this, not really good with starters.)

Takeo let out a yawn as he walked to the hopes peak academy. After saying good bye to his sister and the people that were kind enough to watch over her for him he was now on his way. When he arrived at the prestigious school he let out another yawn just before hitting the gates. 'School doesn't start for a bit.... I'll take a quick nap.' He thought as he sat down and closed his eyes.

When he came to his senses he let out a small groan as he opened his eyes. 'This doesn't feel like the soft grass I slept on....' He thought as he moves his tensed muscles. He went into a sitting position and yawned. He instinctively felt his back and smirked when he felt his bow was still there, though it soon turned to a frown at the realization that his arrows were gone.

"What the? Who stole my arrows?" He muttered as he felt inside his boot were his survival remained not that he showed it to anyone. He let out a sigh and stood up looking around seeing others, but only a few were awake. '......What's going on?' He wondered as he looked around.

Ken calmly walked to Hopes peak as he played with his switch blade a bit nervous as to where he was going. 'I finally got some recognition...one step closer to finishing my plan.' He thought as he let go of his knife and hid his hands in his pocket. He casually walked to the school, however before he could enter the grounds his eyes got heavy and he fell unconscious in moments.

When he regained control of his body he opened his eyes and sat up instinctively grabbing his aching head. He looked around not saying a thing as he tried to figure out where he was at. "Hopes peak gym...." He muttered already having a lot of knowledge of the building. He stood up and started to play with his switch blade though he kept is out of sight. 'Why are were here? This isn't how it's suppose to go.... Why did I pass out?'

ITSUKI NAMATAME

So, this is the fabled school for high-achievers...

tumblr_inline_mzi0mzq0iW1qhaskl.png

A figure dressed all in navy straightened his hat as he stared up at the building, which was quite a few stories tall- five, perhaps, the individual floors seeming smaller than the school's height. A clock's face rested in the center of the tower, making it even more of a landmark-like structure than it had already been. For just a moment, he felt a pang of grogginess...

Probably nothing. It was a glazed feeling that lasted not even a second, but he soon found that he had walked quite a bit further inside. Perhaps he was daydreaming? Or had he come to from a dizzy spell?

He gently placed his schoolbag over his shoulder, taking in his new surroundings. Immediately, he was greeted with the sight of another large indoor clock and a beige corridor, a cedar-wood stage and red curtains being placed at the front. It looked like a gym or an auditorium. Would there be some sort of an entrance ceremony? He was twenty minutes early, after all...

This is the waiting hall, isn't it...? But... that stage up ahead... could this be the auditorium?

He looked back behind him, trying to see if he had stepped into the correct door.

He noticed a second young man looking around, dazed and confused. This was one of the people listed on the website- the one who had gotten to Hope's Peak because of a contest.

"Akihito... you shouldn't be goofing off at a time like this. What if the headmaster comes in to greet us? We should look ready in case something begins, even if nobody else has shown up just yet."

"A-ah, Itsuki-san! No need to get all worked up..."

A more timid, high-pitched voice echoed from the rear of the auditorium. The group of males were greeted by a young woman with black hair who was wearing a long, crimson scarf.

HONOKA AMAYA

"I'm so sorry I'm late, I had this weird dizzy spell in the hall..."

tumblr_inline_n1yi8mjMTh1rbimsk.png

She looked somewhat distressed, as if she was catching her breath. "Oh, um... h-hello, I should introduce myself. You can call me Honoka-chan, I don't mind..." she said, immediately addressing the fact that it was all right to refer to her casually. "This... is the auditorium, right? Have any of you seen the headmaster just yet?"

Nariko Ikari ~ SHSL Inventor

This place was something else. Nariko doubted ever having seen a building so massive in her life, and to think she'd get to be studying here. Getting the acceptance letter through the post and actually being before the doors were two entirely different experiences. The little flutter that this prospect set her heart into was undeniable. She wasn't daunted; no, that wasn't it. Even if she had lingered outside of the door long enough to get a few looks. This moment just had to be savored, Nariko would argue. The next Tesla was about to be born- minus all of that 'death ray' stuff. But wouldn't that be cool, to make a death ray... Her mind fuzzed as she set a hand on the door handle, and the world swirled and twisted before going black.

The next sensation she was aware of was the feeling of her cheek pressed into the polished wood of the floor. This was not an unfamiliar feeling in the least. She'd been pressed into the floor more than one time in her short, short life. Nariko groaned as she pressed herself up onto her palms, trying to get her bearings. The headache she had just about now rivaled that time she'd picked the lock on Dad's liquor cabinet. Only a few other bodies weren't laid out on the floor. Her attention was then scooped up by the trickles of conversation from the back of the hall.
"The headmaster? I don't think any headmaster would leave his students on an auditorium floor... At least no one of Hope's Peak's." But then, she struggled to think of who else could manage this. It wasn't like you could be kidnapped in a school.

Upon Nariko's entry, Honoka's expression brightened into a soft smile.

tumblr_inline_n6m7gcMkVH1qg734k.png

"O-oh, yes, you're probably correct! But... I've heard Hope's Peak is full of eccentrics as well as geniuses. Do you think that this might all be a part of some weird entrance ceremony? At my last high school, they had this ceremony where they lead us all into the basement for this surprise welcome. I wouldn't be too worried about why this is happening. After all... this is the best moment of our lives! We're in the school that destines us for success!"

If anything, it sounded as if she was trying to raise the mood.

"You're Ikari-chan, right? The one whose ideas get patented really often?"

Kihara - Ichigo - Angel

Hope's Peak Academy, a school for... unique... people. Kihara was no exception, being about as unique as one could get. After all, he was a rich, highly-paid government programmer, the underworld's best assassin, a high school student, and about fourteen different people all at the same time. Kihara didn't see a single bit of what was to come next though, as the moment he stepped inside the academy's gate, things just went empty. He could see recurring momentary flashes, like there were a television inside his mind showing static images of the inside of an empty school, just around early morning as proven by the position of the sunlight and the momentary views of clocks. This lasted about eight or nine images, then the next thing he saw was the ceiling in the auditorium. He looked around with his head to see there were plenty others there, but decided to just keep laying there and thing upon things for a while at the realization of what may have just happened.

After a while went by, Kihara took notice of somebody flipping a coin up and down, as well as a few others starting to wake. "Oh? Finally awake? I've been wondering when somebody else would be up," Kihara said as he stood up and walked over. By the lack of tiredness in his face, he'd clearly been up a while. "By the way, you in all navy clothing... I don't think you're very... aware of the situation, are you? I'd double-check your personage, review your surroundings, and compare your memory. I think you'll find a few things... out of place." The guy said, flipping a memory card through his right hand's fingers like it were a coin or something. "After all, quite clearly everybody else is missing some stuff to them. Even me, and I keep tight hold on my stuff... I'm one of the luckier ones though, it seems... I seem to still have my memory cards, as well as a few other things I keep hidden on me.

Chinami Morioka

The young girl, though nervous, took her first step inside Hope's Peak. Sudden blurriness occurred though, her scared as she suddenly was elsewhere, lying on a cold floor. Things were really strange and scary now, scary even. Chinami sat up slowly, looking around at all the different people in the room. She was a bit... scared, slowly crawling backwards until she found herself against the wall. From there, she proceeded to curl up, just sitting there all alone. She knew going to a school with older kids would be scary, and she was quite against it in her own mind, but her mother had her go anyway, and this is how it turned out. She was incapable of much motion, shaking lightly as she had no idea what was going on. Images of darkness pulsed in her mind, basically turning everything in her vision into an infinite stretch of darkness as it pulsed in, then returning to auditorium when pulsing out.

A lady with shoulder length pink hair and sapphire blue eye started to wake up. She shut her eyes tightly before she slowly opened them to see where she was. She slowly sat up and help her head since it felt like someone wacked her head ' what happened?...' She thought to herself as she looked around to see she was in the gym of a school. She blinked a little '...a school?' She thought to herself ' wait...' the words Hope Peaks Academy started to float around in her head. 'Hope Peak Academy...' Her thought then started to come together 'that's right I...' She started but stopped when she felt some movement behind her. She turned around to see another guy awake ' another person...' She then realized there were more people in the gym that started to wake.

She sat down and quietly watched the others ' but this doesn't make sense... I remember coming into the school and sitting down near the window...and...' She tried to remember ' everything else is blank...' She thought to herself as she started to calm down and look as more people started to wake up. She then realized non of stuff was on her and... her eyes widened a little as she looked around " Luka?!" She called for her black cat. She was precious to her after all and would be upset if anything happened to her.

" mew" she heard behind her and turn around to see her sitting down and looking at her with her large green eyes. She sighed in relief as she scooped her up gently and hugged her " silly cat" she mumbled as she started to calm down again. Luka licked her cheek and looked around curiously, she was also asleep when she woke up and was wondering if her master knew anything. She looked at her who shook her head " i don't know either..." she whispered to her as she watched the others talk and interact with each other. ' Hope Peak Academy...' She thought to herself.

"Ikari-san... you may have a point. Yet, we should probably keep calm. If anything really is wrong, we'll be more prepared to take action if we don't let our anticipation get the better of us."

Itsuki eyed over the girl with a mix of respect and aloofness, before turning forward again to wait to be addressed.

"Hopefully Amaya-san is correct and it's nothing more than a 'test' of sorts. I wouldn't put it above the faculty, especially in a place this filled with the rich and talented. Odd ideas can surface in odd minds..."

"A-ah. But even with that possibility... d-did anyone else pass out near the school gates? I thought it was just my imagination, but my mind went blank for a while and when things went back to normal, I was standing in here..." Honoka said worriedly.

tumblr_inline_mw2ylq0UGm1sqw6yu.png

"Do you think that 'sleeping gas' could be a part of the test? W-why don't we check a window and see what's going on outside? Maybe we're supposed to get out of here!" she suggested. "That could be our 'test'!"

A smile spread across the girl's lips as she was recognized, and a hand settled on her hip.
"That's me alright. I'm glad to see I've got a fan, Honoka-chan." Nariko straightened, casting a critical eye over the scarf-clad girl. "Now, I know I've seen you somewhere.. A pretty face like that isn't forgettable." Her lips pressed together, brow knitted in thought.

A test, huh? She hadn't ever heard of an entrance ceremony 'test'. But then again, Nariko had never been to a prestigious high school. Her old one had been out in the boonies, to put it bluntly. But the two of them seemed to know what they were doing.
"Hm. Maybe. I guess we can't really say for sure. I think we should wait it out into somebody comes for us."

"That's possible, yes..." muttered Itsuki in reply, before looking upwards. What he was greeted by was...

"Wait a second... what the hell...?!" he exclaimed suddenly, before pointing a finger towards the left window. It was completely obscured by a metal plate. Said metal plate was bolted firmly to the wall. He narrowed his eyes, immediately becoming suspicious.

tumblr_inline_n321fnAI4h1qhaskl.png

"One of you, could you please try the door?"

Ken Ito

"Are you brain damaged? These windows are barricaded we can't get out through them." He said as he looked at the steel plates closely. Knowing he couldn't get those lose without proper equipment he let out a sigh and went back to the middle of the gym. "This makes no damned sense..... I can think of a million reasons as to why this is not good, but hopefully you guys are smart enough to know why we are in a bad position." He muttered as he placed his hand on his chin and thought about what was going on.

@StrawberryDessert

"Ehehe, you probably know me~." responded Honoka in a joyful tone.

"I starred in a couple of recent movies- 'White Papillon'... 'Temporal Dissonance'... and 'Scizothemia'." she explained, before clearing her throat. "See, I can still do the lines- 'Michael, please! I-I won't leave you! No matter what happens to you, I'm still going on with you no matter what happens'!"

And indeed, her voice immediately acquired a somber, tearful tone that matched the character perfectly. Her face immediately regained its sweet grin, looking up at the Inventor expectantly before...

"Huh? The window is all... boarded up. Why's that...?" she asked with a furrowed brow.

The pink haired lady looked at Itsuki and got up quietly. She put Luka on her shoulders and went over to the gym door and looked at the lock. She gently put her hand on it as she looked at it "hmm...." she hummed as she looked at the lock. ' a big one huh... if only I had my tools... this would be so easy to open...' She sighed and looked at the boy name Itsuki. " there is no way to open it" she said to him calmly.

Kihara - Ichigo - Angel

"If this were a test, I'd be out of here by now. I have a few suspicions as to what's going on, and none of them are some sort of escape test. Besides, a test would be pointless if we have a line of people capable of doing so." Kihara said, him lightly whipping his right arm to shoot a miniature notebook-like electronic object out of his wrist and into his hand. "Seems they didn't take away my data book. Flipping open the protection case's front flap, he powered on the object. It was just like a notepad, but on an electric screen rather than on pages. He swiped through pages until he reached the first profile he recognized as being one of those in the room with him. "Ken Ito, Architect. You should know pretty well how to figure out the structure of this room, right? Any weak points in the walls if they exist, anything like that'd be pretty helpful."

@Peaceswore

"N-no way to open it?!" repeated Honoka, her voice filling with fright.

"U-um... er... this has to be... fabricated, somehow. No criminal could possibly do this without anyone seeing, correct? The only explanation... is that the faculty is putting this together. I-I mean, we're Ultimate students, right? Of course they'd want to make some of us freak out and leave the premises, right? Let's wait the rest of the fifteen minutes until the prep is supposed to start- then if nothing happens, we can try and think of a way to get out of here." she tried to reassure the group. "Itsuki was right before, we've gotta keep calm. Kihara, let's wait just a little longer before doing anything extreme."

The actress' skills were impeccable, to say the least, but what had really caught Nariko's attention was the girl's report that the door had been thoroughly locked. Her boots clicked a few steps as she crossed the door to the lock, giving it a critical eye. Heavy-duty, alright. Someone meant to keep them in- or someone else out. Nariko wasn't sure which thought was more troubling. "There's got to be some way out," she concluded, looking between the pink-haired girl and Itsuki. He seemed to have been the one to take charge. "We're in a room full of- supposedly- talents brighter than the stars. They must expect us to break out, like Honoka-chan said. To keep calm, and bust out."

@Ventuswill

@Evergreen98

Upon the girl with the cat's report, Itsuki's expression stiffened.

"..."

He seemed to be deep in thought.

tumblr_inline_n323m7alvc1qhaskl.png

"These barricades would have had to be here long before we even arrived. No sedative would be powerful enough to knock you people out for the time that it would take to board up these windows, and I didn't even faint when entering this place. No construction work was heard. No one 'locked' us in here... the boarded doors and windows must have happened far beforehand."

He smiled, nodding to himself, before reaching inside his messenger bag.

"Even then, what would anyone in the world want with a class of sixteen teenagers? There are much more valuable things in this place. And besides, has anyone at all decided to try their smartphone--"

What he reached for... was nothing.

"Wait a second... my bag... n-nothing is in there... my phone and textbooks are gone!"

Ken Ito

Ken looked over at the person that was talking to him with a slight glare. "Of course I know..... Before I came here I went out of my way to learn every nook and carny about this place...." He said as he walked over to a wall and felt it. "It's made out of the same material... This is likely the real deal..." He said before leaving the wall and stuffing his hands in his pocket. "Why only sixteen? Where are the teachers?"

@Kiyoko Tomoe

Takeo Mayumi

Takeo looked around at everyone before he closed his eyes and just listened. He ignored the chattering and listened for anything other then the students in this room but couldn't hear a thing. "It's.....really quiet. Isn't an entrance ceremony noisy? I don't hear anyone other than us though." He said to no one in particular.

Kihara - Ichigo - Angel

"Honoka Amaya, the actress... Honestly... An actress can't understand the thinking process of a programmer, I suppose... What I'm planning isn't anything extreme. I simply ask for help in the layout, given I have something I can set up if there's any weaknesses in the building's walls and such. Also, you don't seem very calm yourself, with all the stuttering and pauses." Kihara, without letting go of the electronic notebook, tossed up the memory card held by his fingers that also held the electronic device. He caught the memory card in the opposite hand, putting it in and doing a little work with the notepad. He pretty much was starting to create a 3D model of the room's layout, though he could only really put together the interior at current time due to not having any further knowledge. "By the way, does anybody have a sharp tool of some kind on them? I may be needing it for this." Looking back at Ken, he sighed. "Not sixteen, seventeen. I'd recommend taking a look over by the far wall. We have a rather... young... companion with us. As for the layout, could you tell me if there are any weak points in the walls, and if so, where they are? May be necessary for us to get out of here."

Tsuneo Ishibashi~ SHSL...???

The world came into focus slowly- first the auditorium's slate-grey roof, then its rafters, each individual and sharp. It reminded Tsuneo of a kaliedoscope, the shapes shifting and growing dizzy before settling into their rightful places. The blond let himself rest for a few seconds, shoulder blades pressed into the floor and a hand reaching up to rub at his eyes. His fingers slid beneath his lenses, passing over his eyelids. He felt as though waking from a very long sleep, slowly pulled from its reaches and surfacing at the top of the water. The teenager righted himself slowly, hand passing back through his hair. The room was clattering with people- some in a group by the door, one working on some sort of device. From the conversation, he could pretty much gather they were stuck. But that wasn't his foremost concern. These people were foreign to him, and they seemed to have been kidnapped, but..where had he been kidnapped from? He blinked green eyes. Who was he, really? He could remember his name, but not much else.

" well... this door can be opened in 2 ways from my point of view" she said to Nariko "one would be using hacking into the school network and opening the school's network and opened the door... the other one would be using explosives..." she said to the girl that came up to her. The lady seemed pretty calm about it, well of course she would be calm, she is use to these kind of situations. She sighed a little as she petted her cat, who purred. 'I am getting a bad feeling about this...' She thought looking at the room and the people ' this kind of set up is not normal...unless...' She thought to herself and shook her head ' no... not possible... this is Hope Peak...' She sighed and looked at the door ' why can't I remember anything...'

Ken let out a sigh as he shook his head. "This place may be a school, but it's built like a fortress. There are no weak points..... at least not in the walls. The windows on the other hand... Maybe the could be pried off. Got to admit whoever built this place was a pure genius...." He said moving away from the wall. "And what do you need a sharp object for?" He asked, of course he had his switchblade, but he had no plans in giving it to him for any reason.
