Name: Fiyero Vertillano

Character Reference: The Crow and the Pitcher - Fiyero knows that the world is difficult for a faunus such as himself who cannot hide his heritage; yet, he feels that he can survive by taking small steps in improving the outlook with his kind. Besides, he knew that being a criminal will not help.
Semblance: Feather Dance
Fiyero's aura forms itself into the form of feathers much like the ones on his wings. These aura wings are sharp enough to be able to be able to make a mark on wood and even stick to it for a moment before dissipating. He is able to control these feathers to an extent - often seen circling around him in preparation before sending them out. He has been able to train enough which allows him to use them as a sort of homing projectile to a target. He can also bunch them all together to create a makeshift shield but it isn't very strong.

Weapon: Dealbreaker
The weapon takes the form of a compound bow with gears that contain dust cartridges which allows for the making of the arrows that he uses. There are two gears that contain the dust which allows for the mixing of two dust components to make for devastating mixtures. The weapon can separate into two curved blades with the two gears separated on both blades which allows it to be coated with the chosen dust.
Strengths/Skills: As a Falcon Faunus, he has been blessed with the ability to fly and he uses this to his fullest advantage when fighting or even just generally getting around if no one is opposed to it. He is also an excellent marksman which allows him to be a great asset to his team as a better support. Considering how his weapon is heavily dependent on dust, he has a wide array of knowledge when it comes to them - so much so that he carries around volatile pieces of dust in their crystal form around just in case. He's also quite agile and reacts quickly to his surroundings.

Weaknesses: Fiyero is a fragile person. While his aura is still able to protect him from most things, he depletes his faster than most people. While his bow does have the ability to turn into curved blades, he does not prefer it as he is not very good in close quarter combat. He is also heavily dependent on dust as his ammunition and has no normal arrows. Even if he did, his weapon does not allow for normal arrows as the string that can only be pulled back after the mixture of dust is finalized can only accommodate dust arrows.
Personality: Fiyero is a resourceful man - in a world that is unforgiving to his kind, he feels like he has no choice but to be one. He needed to make anything out of what he had and to survive. The main goal in his life was always to survive no matter what it took. Admittedly, he has gone past the moral barriers before just so he could live another day. He is always quick to snap when someone else is hurt. He is willing to throw himself into the fray for a friend and even stand up for a stranger. He has lived the life of an underdog and the oppressed - he does not wish it upon anyone.

Normally, he is a cheery man. He can be friendly if the other person is friendly to him - he likes to reflect how other people act around him. If they are willing to be civil with him, then he is too. If they're there to throw hands, then he's willing to throw hands with them too. That's just how he is. Fiyero grew up thinking that if people see how they're acting, then they would be more open to letting him go or he could at least escape. People can usually stop him from getting all ballistic or getting physical but he will speak out against injustice.
History: Have you ever thought of how a White Fang child would survive when everyone knows you were once in the White Fang? You can ask Fiyero and he will give you a detailed account. Indeed, his parents were part of the White Fang back when it was still under the Belladonas and were rather peaceful. And Fiyero was a kid who wanted those equal rights too so he was often at the rallies and the activities. However unfortunate it was, he and his family did not live in Menagerie and rather lived in a rather peaceful all-Faunus village near Vale.

Now, he was perfectly fine until he was ten years old. Fiyero did not know what the cause was truly - if it was the bandits or if it was the Grimm. Either way, he and only a few others had managed to escape and they were scattered. Fiyero had ended up completely and utterly alone. So he spent his life slaving away at the main city. Of course, considering his wings, it was already much too obvious that he was a homeless Faunus. Repeatedly, he was ignored and he couldn't remember how many times he was kicked and punched and beat up.

Fiyero did not have a good childhood. He had to steal - he was not proud of it - to survive for another day. It was only when he was fifteen when he was taken in by a local dust owner. Fiyero began working tirelessly so that he could eat and have a roof above his head and maybe a few coins. This was how he learned more about dust since he typically had to listen to the owner ramble on about that. He wanted more out of his life and when he heard that even a Faunus could get into Beacon Academy - he knew what he wanted to do.

With some talking, Fiyero had managed to convince his boss to let him enroll. Headmaster Ozpin, when he had interviewed Fiyero considering his financial and societal status, had given him a chance to make his weapon and see if he can impress. Obviously, Fiyero had been able to impress Ozpin with what he had created despite it seeming crudely made - considering his background, it was already rather good. And so, he was accepted into Beacon Academy and given a team. Of course, the school wouldn't have been real if there was no bullying but at least he had other fellow Faunus by his side to fight back (never physically, his teammates forbade him to). He was also given the chance to improve his weapon, and he did.

Fiyero's time at Beacon was the best time he ever had, but now someone needs their help and he jumped at the chance to do so.
Description/Picture: Fiyero stands at a height of 5'10. He has a mop of blonde hair that is usually spiking around - he often runs his hand through his hair to mess it up.

Other: Fiyero worked at a local dust shop named Hubris' Fall and it still stands today. He owns a necklace with an ivory fang on it which he usually wears around his neck - symbolizing his belief in equality like the White Fang but also disapproving of its current, more brutal methods.

Semblance: sage instinct: this ability increases Akiios awareness and reflexes, making her nearly untouchable for 8 seconds. This skill needs a six-second cooldown. Sage instinct can be noted by the change in her pupils changing into feline-like slits and emerald green aura will emit from her.

Weapon: Emerald fang. katana. The weapon is designed to feed on her aura to make the blade stronger and more durable. She can fire an arc-shaped projectile made of aura but it is used sparingly as it takes a chunk of aura. The swords belonged to her sister.

Akiio is very agile and Swift. She is hard to pin down and land a hit on.

-Her reflexes and instincts are feline-like. They are only enhanced further by her semblance.

-She is very intelligent and can quickly analyze any situation and adopt of need be.

Weaknesses: Akiio has a hard time forming bonds because of her aloofness.

-her sadistic nature can get in the way of rational thinking.

-she hates being alone but fears death claiming someone she loves.

-Using her aura, semblance and increasing her weapons effectiveness simultaneously is very draining.

-Akiio is easily downed. She doesn't have the durability to take many hits. Two or three heavy blows will down her.

-while she can fight without her sword, she is somewhat at a disadvantage since she specializes in swordplay and her physical attacks don't hold much force behind them.

Personality: Akiio is a reserved person. She rarely talks and only does when she feels it necessary. Akiio has difficulty expressing emotions. She does feel them but she finds it hard for her to display them. People often mistake her for cold and uncaring but Akiio does have a big heart. She cares for most, especially children. However, Akiio has a secret that makes her feel much shame. She enjoys taking lives. Grimm, humans animals, it does my matter. She will gladly kill and will feel intoxicated. Her silent nature allows her to be highly observant.

History:
Born into the Stoneheart branch, Akiio was expected to be a huntsman just like her father and two siblings. She was trained from an early age in the art of swordplay and quickly excelled.

It was when her siblings died protecting their estate from a terrorist attack did her life change. It was then that Akiio lost the ability to properly display emotions. This event was what unlocked her semblance.

She joined Beacon Academy soon after where she formed a bond with another girl and found a love interest. During their third year, both of Akiios teammates perished. Seeing the two people she cared about most broke her inside. She spent her days in depression and frustration unbeknownst to those around her. One she went out on her own, afraid her feelings may attract Grimm. She wasn't wrong as soon enough she ran into a small cluster of the creatures. Akiio dispatched them as they were fodder but found she enjoyed killing. She knew this because, for the first time in years, she laughed wholeheartedly.

Semblance: Light Arrows

She can harden any visible light into a projectile or any other solid object, usually no more complicated than a javelin-like shaft, although with considerable effort she can harden any measure of light into tangible objects. Once the light has been hardened, she can not manipulate the movement or form, although she has some control of this while in the process of creation.

Weapon: Solis Arcus

It is a gold painted bow that can transform into a compact dust blaster and extend into a short javelin-sized staff. The bow is designed to be most efficient in line with her semblance, allowing her to better aim, but it can fire real arrows should the need arise. (Although stocking those can be tedious.) There is a dust chamber below the hand-grip that doubles as the gun's barrel, where she can place dust magazines to fire.

Strengths/Skills:
— Robyn is an excellent marksman. Whether with her bow, a gun, or the rubber band in her fingers, she can nail a target. She's actually quite adept at the physics of it all, even though one would scarcely know from meeting her.
— She's very lithe and agile. That girl can bend in ways only to be imagined.
— Great at climbing things. No one knows why, but it's probably her way of coping with being short.
— She's very positive and optimistic. Whether this is a strength or a weakness is according to the situation...
— Her aura is strongly connected to light; being in light—particularly strong sunlight—can help rejuvenate her faster.

Weaknesses:
She's not good at close-range combat. She can evade to a degree, but she's physically and tactically at a disadvantage due to her usual technique consisting of hits and runs.
— Being said, Robyn is not the strongest or the toughest of fighters and can be downed rather quickly should she be hit.
— Her semblance only works in light, and the stronger the light the better. In the dark, or in weak light, she can't use her semblance well or at all; since her aura feeds off of light, she can't properly regenerate it in the dark, making her weaker.
— Her weapon also relies on her semblance, so combat is tougher when she's out of aura and/or light. Even though her weapon can transform into a gun, it has a limited amount of ammo.
— She's claustrophobic. Robyn will avoid tight spaces if at all possible, and if it happens... Well, it's a little distracting to say the least.

Personality: Robyn is quite possibly one of the brightest and cheeriest people one would ever meet. She's has the energy supply and enthusiasm of a five-year-old who ate an entire box of skittles—and the personal boundaries of one too. It doesn't matter if you're a stranger or a friend, she'll cherish you and probably be in all of your business. Close proximity is how she shows affection. Really, she's just a people person—the extroverts of the extroverts. Robyn thrives off of this.

Although, her boundless energy isn't entirely sincere. She really is an optimistic, friendly person, but even those have limits... She doesn't like to show her sad side to people. Robyn wants to be the friend that always encourages others and builds them up, and she can't do that if she is the one falling apart. So she...shoves that down. Deep down, locked away in the dark place she doesn't want to go. Is it healthy? Absolutely not. But the less people to know that that dark place exists—a dark place full of painful memories and anguish and even the burning need for restitution that impossible to come by—the better. If she herself could forget it, now that would be perfect.

History: She grew in a small town on the continent of Animus, near the Forever Fall forest. It was small, but Robyn loved the place, and in her childhood she spent many days playing in the outdoors. Her father was a woodsman, and her mother a seamstress, and they both loved her dearly, and the feeling was mutual. However, some good things can quickly come to an end in the world of Remnant.

Despite Vale being a fairly safe place, Forever Fall could be dicey sometimes. To this day, Robyn doesn't know why it happened, but an Ursa attacked her house. Maybe someone was feeling anxious, maybe it was just hungry... One of her deepest fears is that it was her somehow that attracted it. Regardless of how, her parents were no match for the Ursa. Her father threw in the back shed to protect her from the rampaging Grimm, and her parents tried their best... But they fell, surely enough, and little Robyn heard the entire thing.

A patrolling huntsman found the nine-year-old Robyn three days later, still trapped in a shed because there was no one to let her out. It was easily the worst time of her life, and she's never in the mood to revisit those days. The bottom line is, she was taken in by the very huntsman that found her that day, a kind but rather gruff man by the name of Chiro. He was a good man, though not quite prepared for a child. Luckily, the neighbors—mostly an old lady by the name of Dianne—was able to suit the child's needs where Chiro couldn't.

But ultimately, she loved growing up with him, being raised once again among a community closer to Vale, but still close enough to forests to ease her heart. Robyn took after her foster dad, training to be a huntsman. She learned a lot from Chiro, but also studied at Signal Academy before transferring to Beacon.

Semblance:
Terraform - Terrance can bend the ground beneath him to his will, from forming giant walls and barriers to causing the earth to split. This isn't like Earthbending from Avatar: The Last Airbender, he can't make rocks float, and the structures he makes don't crumble after he loses concentration. He can manipulate the earth beneath him to take on any shape he wishes as long as it stays attached to the ground, since he has to be touching it in some fashion in order to manipulate it

Weapon:
Melee Form: Crith-Talmhainn(gaelic for 'Earth-Shaker')
Claymore. There is a trigger close to the cross-guard for reasons explained below

Transformation to Ranged:
When transforming to ranged mode, the blade splits down the middle, separates a few inches, then rotates 90 degrees, revealing a long gun barrel. The right cross-guard rotates towards the blade until it's parallel and the end of it splits into 2 pieces, becoming a cross-hair. The left cross-guard rotates towards the hilt until it's parallel, forming a trigger guard. Parts of the pommel split to form the stock and 'butt' to reduce recoil when aiming down sights. Full transformation takes about .75 seconds.

Ranged Form: Heavy machine gun(KPV for example). It has a somewhat lower fire rate than other firearms, but the shots have a much harder impact and the weapon itself has more kick back. Works best with medium-long range targets. The most comfortable method of using this form is the kneeling position. The weapon fires large dust crystals fed through a belt coming from a container he wears on his hip

Skills:
  • Great-sword proficiency: It wouldn't make sense for him to be bad at wielding a weapon he uses so much. His fighting style uses traditional medieval techniques but incorporates half-swording and melee strikes into his form to help make up for the weapon's weakness of close quarters combat.
  • Leadership: He has the capability of leading a team, though his ways aren't perfect
  • Mechanic: He is able to repair his weapon between battles if it is damaged, and others if he knows their blueprints well enough
  • Cooking: The man is a wizard in the kitchen as long as it doesn't come to seafood
  • Beast Tracking: From his time at home, he developed his ability to track wild beasts over the course of several years to help aid in the family business. He also developed an ability with his semblance that allows him to find disturbances in the terrain within a certain area(imagine like 20 or so songs playing at once, and then focusing on a certain one to the point that it's the only one you can hear. That's basically how he's able to differentiate certain disturbances).

Weaknesses: NO LESS THAN TWO; ONE FOR YOUR WEAPON, ONE FOR YOUR SEMBLANCE/AURA. If you wish, you can also state Character weaknesses in your character's personality.
  • Weapon: Both the melee and ranged form of the weapon are weak in extremely close quarters(i.e. within 2 feet, where mainly hand-to-hand and small weapons combat are most effective)
    • Secondary: Terrance does not have full control of the ranged form knockback while mid-air. He's not bad at it currently, but he hasn't completely mastered it(as in he can use it for basic maneuvering but not chain it into hit combos)
  • Semblance:
    • The more massive and complex the structure he's making, the more taxing it is on him. More often than not, he uses his semblance to make his fighting style unwavering in most attacks by planting his feet in the ground or using the earth to create an armor around him
    • when using his semblance while emotionally unstable, it can overclock his abilities and allow him to create events and structures beyond his normal limits, however his aura may break afterwards due to the physical strain it causes
    • He can't control refined metal or molten rock(whether or not he can later in the RP is up to you)
  • Character:
    • Obsessiveness, whether it be over a topic that interests him, or pursuing a target he has a personal vendetta with

Personality:

Despite his more hardened look, Terry is overall an easygoing, very friendly person. He tries to keep himself grounded(pun intended) as much as he can, sometimes asking his friends if they believe his ego has gotten too big. He is extremely loyal to friends and allies, more than willing to die for their protection in battle. However, should his ally betray him, he will expend all resources necessary into finding them and sentencing them to a crueler fate than any court in Remnant could give. He prefers a more direct and efficient approach to things, believing beating around the bush on certain issues tends to make things worse rather than better.

  • Public Breakdown - Terrance made his life on protecting those he loved without showing the pain it caused him, no matter the cost. One day he fears there may be a time where he can no longer keep his emotions in check, and have a mental breakdown in front of those he tries to protect, showing a great weakness in the stone wall.

History:
Terrance was born in the Agricultural district of Vale, on a farm that borders the southern forest to a mechanic as his mother, and an ex-hunter has his father. For many years he lived a peaceful life hunting and farming, and overall helping his family bring home the bread so to speak. He discovered his semblance when he was rather young when he found out he could literally make a mountain out of a molehill just by looking at it(it didn't actually become a mountain, it just got about 6-8x bigger than its original size). He mainly used his semblance to help with the farm(i.e. tilling without the need of a machine), as well as later learning to sense disturbances in the terrain within a certain radius in order to help track animals. It had never really crossed his mind to join the academy, as he was content with his currently quiet life(despite the fact that he had learned how to fight from his dad), looking forward to completely taking over the farm so his parents could finally rest. However, one day while he and his father were out hunting, they heard a scream and smelled smoke coming from back where their house was. They ran back as fast as they could, but it was too late, as pretty much their entire property was up in flames. Thankfully, his mother was able to make it out and away from the flames, later telling Terrance and his father that it had been bandits who caused all of this, who seemed to be after his father for reasons she did not know.

The farm was unsalvagable, so Terrance and his family had to move to the commercial district for more job opportunities, and cheaper housing. A year or two went by, and the family had become financially stable again, if only just. Seeing as his family wasn't really in terms of income, he decided he would attend Beacon to lessen the financial burden on his parents. As a gift for being accepted into the academy, he was given his weapon as a gift from his parents. Immediately after the first day, Terrance knew he had made the right decision. Joining the academy had actually given him the opportunity the learn so much more than his little farm could offer, including how to control and more properly utilize his semblance and weapon. He is starting his second year in the academy, and looks forward to seeing what more information the academy has in store to learn

Also wears a back scabbard to store his weapon, and keeps a Dirk hidden in his kilt in the case he is forced to fight close quarters without his main weapon. He has a container of rather large dust crystals(approx. 15mm diameter, 12mm length)that are on a belt that he feeds into his weapon.

Character Reference: Lassie, from the classic novel Lassie Come-Home and the TV series that followed -- Like her, Sable has an instinctual need for 'home', even in spite of not ever quite having one. She's loyal and persistent, and like in the book, gets tossed around like a hot potato. Her semblance is also a reference to Lassie's iconic 'sixth sense' from the series.

Semblance: Danger Sense.
Or, more specifically, an 'Aura/Grimm sense'. Over any given area, she can 'feel' the presence of strong spikes of emotion in people or the presence of the Grimm themselves, being able to loosely tell where they are coming from like a sort of giant internal spatial map. Her current range, coming out like a sphere centered around her person, is roughly a hundred feet in radius, but through practice or good ol' fashioned intense mental strain, it could get farther. It provides, for her, a good way to detect someone in trouble (although the emotion spike could technically also be happiness or excitement--sometimes she can tell the difference, sometimes she can't) or to detect oncoming Grimm. Although her semblance is not terribly powerful in itself, she has learned through her Beacon training thus far to use it as a tool to better her aim, employing the spatial awareness to target Grimm. Generally, her sense is stronger on larger Grimm than on smaller.

Weapon: Formidable.
A sleek sharpshooting sniper rifle. In its neutral form, as a rifle, it can shoot rounds up to almost a thousand feet: generally piercing bullets, but it is also compatible with dust capsules. When the mech shift is employed, the barrel both collapses and splits in the middle to fold back and lock to create a short, thick, two barrel gun, good for heavy gunning at a closer range.

Strengths/Skills:
--Sable is keenly observant and alert, partly due to her semblance and training and the other part just by nature. Ever aware of her surroundings, she tends to pick up on things others don't. She's also fairly empathetic, not only noticing things, but being in tune with the emotions of other people.
--She has, as needed for her weapon, pretty solid aim, accompanied by focus that's sharp even in the middle of a fight. She's also grown accustomed to using her semblance's side effect of spatial awareness to this end, enhancing this ability.
--She's persistent. Resilient and a hard worker, Sable will be one to get herself through things by willpower alone, if nothing else.
--Partially for the reason of the weight of her gun alone, Sable is fairly strong muscle-wise. She also has great stamina.

Weaknesses:
--Reliance on her semblance for aim. Using her danger sense to 'feel' a Grimm's presence spatially while sniping seemed like a great idea, so she honed in on it, gradually becoming more dependent and accustomed to thinking that way. However, that would do nothing if her target was something else--say, a calm human. Not that she would ever need to do that or anything...
--Prone to trying to do everything by herself. Open to helping others; less open to accepting help.
--Easily stressed, especially when it comes to other people. Doesn't always trust others to not get hurt. That, and she's apt to overthinking pretty much everything, if she lets herself.
--Not that agile or fast when it comes to close-range combat, with the gun or without. She prefers to keep her distance in conflicts.

Sable would consider herself a reasonable person. She's calm and collected, going about her actions with proper analysis and a level head...unless someone is in trouble or even vaguely asking for help in which case she might just jump in and go for it anyways. And then make a plan. Indeed, even on the small things, Sable has been one to point out in great detail why whatever her friends or teammates are doing is terrible idea, but then, she goes along with them in spite of it. Because, someone has to keep everyone safe, right? And, perhaps, there is that little part of her that craves adventure, too. Either way, she's terrible at saying 'no', and despite her better judgment will agree to just about everything from laundry to baiting a Nevermore. She's driven by the instinct to be of help.

It is, perhaps, these years at Beacon Academy that have blossomed Sable's more passionately protective side, as if her teammates were like the sheep back at the ranch who were prone to walking over cliffs if you didn't watch them close enough. Okay, no, she's not that bad. She gets a little stressed in her caution sometimes, but at the core of it, she's a huntress who cares about people, loyal to a fault and courageous when the need arises.

There is, however, one other factor to her loyalty. Sable craves belonging. She's used to wandering. To some degree, it's made her quite independent and resourceful, and she could, perhaps, be okay with that. Still, deep down, Sable really wants a place to call home. And she wants purpose. She hopes this school and a future as a huntress would do that for her, but her desires are less clear than she would say they are. She's just searching.

History:
As far as she could remember, Sable was an orphan. She never did know her parents, nor did she know what exactly happened to them, except that they were a hunter and huntress, and they died, somehow, while on the job. She was first raised by her aunt, in a decent house on the plains of Vacuo, during which time she was mostly left alone, but when she was six, her aunt decided to move...and leave her behind. She was going off to live with relatives in the Atlas capital, and Sable would surely hate that, as Vacuo was her home, so why not leave her at an orphanage, instead? And so, Sable was there for a few years, before being picked up by a couple looking for a few kids to help out around their glass-making shop. Apprentices, basically. However, Sable, feeling confined, wanted something more.

At the age of eleven, Sable moved again, but this time, it was by her own choice. A ranch was looking for hands, and though she was certainly on the young side, she went for it. And she liked it. It wasn't an easy life--it can be hard raising cattle in a barren desert, but hey, welcome to Vacuo--but the people were good to her, and she liked to be of some help. Plus, she finally had a place in the world, a place she could call home, perhaps...

Sable was nearly happy. However, the time that went by got her thinking: what did she want, really? Her life up until now was okay, but it was just living. Surviving, even. She didn't have a clear path ahead. So what next? She could stay a ranch hand. It wasn't a bad place to be. The people were nice. But was it home?" Young Sable wanted that; she also, in her heart of hearts, wanted to be something great. So at 15, she made the decision: she was going to be a huntress.

Sable was admitted into Vacuo's Baron Academy, and from there, she worked tirelessly to learn everything she needed, since she started fairly late and also didn't have much of a childhood education to begin from. It was there, too, that she finally learned something about her parents, since that's where they went. She asked her weapons instructor pleadingly for something, whatever they might have, and he obliged. It wasn't much, just records: name, hometown, weapon. And that's when she saw the simple log detailing her mother's sword, Regis, and her father's rifle, Formidable.

One of her friends told her in was bad luck to adopt the name of a weapon of a hunter killed by Grimm, but Sable didn't care, so she went for it anyways. Because, somehow, that information was precious to her: sacred, even. She was following in her parents' footsteps...it seemed the right thing to do. A couple of years later, Sable graduated and moved on to Beacon, wanting to see another kingdom for a change. She became part of a team there, to which she got attached, enough so to go wherever they might go, because maybe, somewhere in the midst, she might actually find home.

Description:
Sable's about 5'11" with thick, wavy, brown and white hair and forest green eyes. Medium build, but decently muscular. She carries Formidable around on her back, supported by a shoulder strap, and she generally keeps dust capsules and other extra ammo on her via pockets on the inside of her stiff brown coat. Her huntress wear is generally the coat and boots, with a couple of belts and straps besides, for support. She keeps it maneuverable enough, but doesn't bother trying to make her gear very light. She likes to be prepared. Her casual wear is more on the simple side, usually consisting of a t-shirt with a light denim jacket to cover.

Other: So, when I was looking up stuff about the story of Lassie, I found this really cool story about her origin, a true story about a collie who licked to life a wounded English navy man in WW1. Like really, the ship was hit by a U-boat missile, so they retreated to port. This one guy was lain on the ground, thought to be dead, but Lassie comes over and starts licking him, warming his body until eventually he stirred and everyone was like 'crap, he's alive!' and got up and got that guy to the hospital. The name of that ship was the H.M.S. Formidable. So yeah, thought it was cool; couldn't resist making that the weapon name.

And by the way, the name of Baron Academy is totally made up. I borrowed it from this other RWBY fic I'm writing...pretty much, it's supposed to be a primary school like Signal or Sanctum, otherwise known as the only two names we got.

Also, 'sable' can refer to the color black, but in reference to the dog coat color, it's dark brown. So yeah :)

Semblance:
Pack Leader - Allows him to summon a pack of large wolves(imagine the size of Dire Wolves from 5e) and command them. The wolves themselves are the fluorescent blue but are partially transparent, however they can be physically touched and felt as if they were real. They are much stronger and faster than normal wolves, and he can manipulate their size between dire wolf and normal wolf should he choose to. The more wolves he summons, the more taxing it is on him. So far, he's only been able to keep 9 summoned at a time during full concentration, 7 without full concentration. Typically, he always keeps two summoned and with him at all times as companions, but has them scaled down to the size of normal wolves(named Skoll and Hati). The pack acts as an extension of his will, and they will not attack or show any aggression to anyone unless he wills them to. Otherwise, they will act very similarly to domesticated dogs.


Weapon: Name - Loki
Melee Form: Extendable staff(from ~8in long to ~5ft long, can only be sturdy when fully extended or not extended at all) with a blade slot on the end of either shaft. This slot allows him to place blades of different shapes and materials onto the ends of his weapon, essentially making it multifunctional. His main blade of choice is that of a machete, which when the staff is fully extended makes his weapon into a Glaive. On top of normal weapon heads(i.e. spear, halberd, previously mentioned glaive) he also has a number of brittle Dust blades that have been designed to activate when snapped. Works best in short-medium range

Transformation & Ranged Form: When in its condensed form(8 in), the top of the shaft detaches and fires at a high speed, revealing a relatively small diameter, 13 ft metal chain. This can be reeled back in or can be used as is like a Meteor Hammer(long chain with a mace at the end) or Rope Dart(like a meteor hammer but with a blade on the end). Works best in medium-long range

Skills*: From extraordinary to mundane, anything from gardening to swordplay to carpentry. Things your character is good at.
  • Multiple Weapons Mastery - His weapon has the ability to become different types of weapons so it's only fair he be able to use them
  • Cooking - In his youth he mainly had to learn to cook on his own, especially when out in the wilderness
  • Hunting and Prey Tracking - He made a living off of hunting wild animals for many years before becoming a Hunter(in the sense of Grimm hunting)

  • PTSD - Jonathan is haunted by images of his fallen comrades and the image of Fenrir in his dreams. Upon hearing the name 'Fenrir', he begins to become anxious, experiences phantom limb pain in his right hand, and begins freezing up. It takes him a few minutes to return to a calm state of mind on his own, but this can take less time if someone notices and helps him snap out of it
  • Semblance
    • The strength of the wolves he summons is based on the willpower and resolve Jonathan has, which becomes a problem when he has an episode
    • The wolves can only be within a kilometer of him, otherwise they disappate
  • Weapon
    • No firearm capabilities other than the medium-range chain, and even then it has to be fully recoiled before being able to fire again

Personality: Like his general demeanor implies, he's a friendly soul who is more than willing to assist those who ask for his help or guidance. More than anything, he enjoys the peaceful life, and the company of friends and family; but I would be lying if I said he wasn't missing the rush of being on the battlefield. At the same time, if he finds himself in the path of a specific Grimm, he begins to freeze up and shake uncontrollably for reasons that will be explained in Weaknesses. Despite this, his instincts and weapon mastery are still as sharp as they were in his prime, if not more so. To make up for his own percieved weakness, he is more than willing to take in hunters and huntresses in training and teach them to become better in terms of weapon mastery and controlling their semblances.

Weapon: Massacre and grace, two giant guantlets which have dust sprayers, allowing him a flamethrower like attack depending on dust used.

Strengths/Skills: Kaius is a amazing fighter, being able to take on many opponents at once, something he was capable of doing so back when he and Korin were partners. He has a Bezerker type fighting style, rushing enemies down to brawl things out. Something he isn't proud of.
Weaknesses: Kaius is predictable, making him easy to counterattack, he's somewhat slow, due to his bulkiness during his semblance.
He lacks any true long range capabilities making him easy to pickoff at long range.

Personality: Kaius was a bright and cheery person for a while when he knew korin, as of lately he has been filled with guilt, feeling he commited unforgivable crimes, and tends to stay by himself as he wanders remnant, even forgoing his own name. History: Kai was brought up in a family of white fang faunus, his parents partook in thievery and sabotage, believing them to be helping the image of faunus, when things started getting darker he got positions within the white fang himself, which eventually became associating with another organization called X1.
Shortly afterwords he was paired with a girl named korin. Both of them had widely different ideals. Despite this they remained a strong pair carrying out dirtywork for both organizations. He however began to fear korin's increasingly chaotic decisions which resulted in him trying to kill her one night, which she woke to and ended up running away. Ever since then he's quit the white fang, wandering around remnant trying to figure his own self out, perhaps one day she would forgive him.

Semblance: Extend: Can manipulate her aura at its fringes to extend into spindly, solidified tendrils. These tendrils act almost like an extra limb, able to move and hit things and assailants. It can grab onto stuff, too, but this can be incredibly hard to control. Her semblance is general seems to strain on Ariana's control, just because it takes so much conscious effort to keep it up. However, in its best form, she can keep up about six or seven tendrils at a time, able to reach roughly up to six feet away from her body. Very close range in use. Expends a lot of energy.

Weapon: Timely Justice: Long blade that doubles as a shotgun. Sword has a broad metal edge and mecha core, which shifts down to reveal gun, which switches between direct and scatter shot. Timely Justice is designed to be just light enough for easy maneuverability, but mainly acts as a heavy weapon for dealing crushing blows.

Strengths/Skills: Oriana is very quick on her feet, and fairly strong, as well. She's a fierce fighter, very resilient, who doesn't let up for anything. She's also generally a good planner; very thoughtful by nature, she's adept at analyzing situations.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have the best people skills; although fairly friendly and even-tempered, she's not always the best at connecting, and generally prefers to stay quiet, which can lead to communication issues. Not the best at taking the lead in situations. Also has a tendency to get too hung up on her problems, not resting well if they are not resolved.

Personality: Rather quiet and reserved most of the time, although one would be hard pressed to ever call Ariana 'shy'. She just had too much of this air of confidence about her for that, even if she didn't speak very often. In fights, she could be downright fierce, and in duels with other students, she often came off as a tad bit on the aggressive side. However, she was never one to start conflicts. She was just a steady, musing personality, rather thoughtful and intelligent, ready with advice but preferring not to take the lead. Still, she could always be counted on to have her teammates backs. Not matter what the activity or mission, she came onto it with a silent, firm kind of bravery, and she was certain to never leave a comrade behind. It is true that she never, in all the time she has been here, really seemed to open up, but then again, when was there ever the need?
