Olivia Hunter
When Olivia had first moved into Central City, she thought she was going to live a completely normal life. After graduating from college Olivia had wanted to see what the world was going to offer her, she even contemplated joining the force. Her parents helped her find an affordable apartment in Central City and as a graduating gift her parents offered to help pay rent for two years before she would be on her own. That gave her enough time for Olivia to earn her own money by working all sorts of jobs, until finally she settled with working as a barista at Jitters. The citizens of Central City were very nice to a newcomer like herself, even with meta-humans running around.

That was until the Particle Accelerator exploded.

Ever since the explosion Olivia had noticed strange things happening around her, mostly being able to hear the thoughts of people around her. At first she thought it was because she left her radio on. However when it became evident that it wasn’t the radio, or her music playing loudly, Olivia began to realize there was something wrong with her. Especially when she could hear the thoughts of the male customer’s she helped, she didn’t know whether to be flattered or offended sometimes. However she kept her worries to herself, doing research and finding help for people like her, a meta-human.

“Alright, here is your café latte with soy milk.” Giving her customer a smile, Olivia’s blonde hair was pulled into a ponytail as she accepted the payment. Even if things were getting a little bit more crazy, with more meta-humans becoming more bold, Olivia always felt safe in Central City due to the meta-human who called himself the Flash. Rumor had it that he was the self proclaimed hero of the city and that he also was working with the police in order to prevent casualties from meta-human attacks.

At least he has an ability that’s actually useful.

Giving her head a shake Olivia plastered the smile on her lips at the sound of the door’s opening reached her ears. The best she could do was to serve people coffee or pastries while keeping a smile on her face. It wasn’t like her ability would be useful in terms of fighting, and with the rumor of someone named Zoom terrorizing the streets Olivia wanted to blend in as much as she could.

Jay Garrick/Hunter Zolomon
Hunter couldn’t believe his good fortune when the rifts began to appear in his world. To be honest he was starting to get bored playing the part of both the hero and the villain. He wondered how the people of his Central City would react if they knew their precious hero was actually the meta-human known as Zoom. There must be something truly wrong with him for him to find such amusement, but to be honest he was getting bored with the whole charade.

Not to mention the illness that was steadily creeping up on him. His expression darkened for a second as he thought of the drug he consumed to increase his speed. While it made him faster than he ever was, and more formidable, it was also killing him. Perhaps with that knowledge it was what made him lash out to the people of Central City, they if he had to go might as well take them with him.

And that’s when those rifts appeared.

Hunter had always known there was a theory of multiple Earth’s and if he could cross over to a different one then, he could find their version of The Flash and take their speed. That was his thought process as he found himself crossing over.

Already he could see the similarities between his world and this world. While there were some differences it had the same atmosphere. Now all he had to do was not use too much of his speed and find this world's Flash. Then he would just gain their trust and well, he’ll figure something out.

Hunter knew that now the rifts were open, meta-humans from his world were bound to cross over, to escape his tyranny and while he would eventually take care of them, his needs came first. So he blended in, not causing a scene to bring attention to himself and when he found himself witnessing someone being terrorized by a meta-human he was within conflict of himself.

On one hand he could just leave and pretend he didn’t see anything, but on the other what if that person was from his world? It wouldn’t do him any good if the “Flash” didn’t save his own citizens. So with a sigh Hunter, no Jay zipped into the scene and rescued the young female by creating some distance between her and the villain.

“Are you alright ma’am?”

Barry Allen had never imagined, not even in his wildest dreams, that he would have the powers he had today. Becoming the Flash had both saved him and damned him, though he wasn't the type to complain. His friends had enough to worry about trying to understand his powers, and make sure that he stayed safe. Caitlin was great at checking his vitals, both when he was using his speed and not, making sure that he didn't overdo himself. So far it seemed that his vitals remained pretty stable even after he used his speed for long periods of time. Mostly, anyway. There had been a few hiccups so far, but nothing major.

Things had been pretty quiet since the whole episode with Wells... or Thawne... or whoever he'd been. It still hurt Barry to know that he'd trusted the man, and he hadn't even been close to who he said he was. But he and the rest of Team Flash had to move on, and cope while still taking down metahumans who appeared in the city. To Barry, it was his job to keep Central City safe from those who would wish to harm it. Why else would he have been given his speed when the particle accelerator exploded?

Moving on, though, hadn't been easy. It was now six months after he, as the Flash, and Firestorm had closed the black hole threatening the city. Caitlin worked at Mercury Labs now, and Cisco was helping the force. That meant that Barry was alone now, and the loneliness was getting to him. Thankfully, there was something-- or someone, rather-- who still brought a smile to his face, and he visited Jitters more often than he used to for that very reason.

Currently standing outside of the coffee shop, he had his own set of jitters going on. Today was the day, he'd promised himself. Today he was going to ask out the pretty barista that made him smile, and hopefully, she'd accept. Giving himself a mental shake, he drew in a sharp breath and released it slowly. Turning to the door, he quickly grabbed for the handle when he spotted an elderly woman walking towards the door with two cups in hand.

"After you." He flashed her a cheeky grin, holding the door until she was well away from it before stepping inside. Inhaling the scent of coffee beans and energy, his grin widened as he moved to get in line. Clasping his hands together, he gave himself a mental pep talk, that failed him as soon as he reached the register and saw her face. "Uh-- hi, there, Oliv- h-hi, there. Hi."

Faye didn't understand what had happened. This place... it looked like her world, but something was off. When she'd woken up, cold and alone in the alley behind her apartment, she'd felt it then. She wasn't injured, but she didn't feel right, either. She didn't have a thing on her, not even her apartment key. The door was locked, which wasn't surprising, so she'd gone to knock on Anthony's door a few doors down. When he'd opened the door, though, he didn't recognize her. That was weird, considering they'd been friends practically ever since she moved in. But when she pointed that out, he'd simply given her a flat look, a dry laugh, and had slammed the door in her face.

Back outside, hurt and confused, she'd wandered around for a little bit, trying to get rid of the rising anxiety in her chest and figure out what exactly wasn't right. She didn't remember what happened before she blacked out, and she had no clue why she'd woken up in the alley of all places. She hadn't run into anyone else she knew, but that also wasn't that surprising. She didn't have many friends; Anthony was a major exception, and they were really only friends because he'd forced his way into her life, demanding that she be friends with him because he "liked her style".

The memory was usually funny, but now it just made her sad. Frowning, not knowing where to go or who to turn to, she ended up outside of her job. 11:11 was a tiny, hole-in-the-wall bar that she waitressed at. Stepping inside, she recognized a few of her coworkers, but none of them had any flicker of recognition in their eyes. Deciding not to comment, she sat at the bar and nursed a drink for well over an hour before deciding that she didn't want it. Paying her tab with the couple bucks she had in her pocket, she dipped out of the building, making a split second decision to head deeper into the city.

Unfortunately, she still didn't know Central City that well, and she got lost in her thoughts. When she came back to, she wasn't in a part of the city she recognized. Cursing silently, she looked around, knowing she had to go back. But when she turned, she came face to face with someone. The sudden realization that she wasn't alone took her by surprise, and she jerked backwards, stumbling. The man grinned, just as his hands lit on fire. No stranger to powers herself, she shouldn't have been surprised, but the shock of everything combined got to her. She screamed, just as the man lunged at her.

She squeezed her eyes shut, expecting to feel the heat from his hands at any moment. Instead she felt-- wind? Opening her eyes, she found that she wasn't in front of the fire man any longer, but on a rooftop with another stranger. Safe from the first but unsure about the second, she took a couple steps back, looking around to make sure she didn't see anyone else. "Who are you?" She demanded, her eyes falling back on him. "And what... what happened?"

Olivia Hunter

With another smile she thanked another customer while handing them their order and when she turned to the next customer her own brown eyes blinked. The friendly, polite smile that she usually had on while dealing with customers, both pleasant and difficult, warmed. One nice thing about living in Central City was having the opportunity to meet Barry Allen on a daily basis.

“Hey there Barry, are you here for your usual?” Even without her telepathy Olivia knew that Barry Allen was a good man. Granted the first few times they met she could tell he was somber about something, but she didn’t pry nor did she use her powers. Just because she had them didn’t give her the excuse to invade someone’s privacy.

In the beginning it would be just polite conversation between the two, every once in a while she would give the brunette male an extra pastry, or say his drink was on the house. Her eyes would light up when she noticed that he seemed less somber and more...Barryesque? He was certainly a good person, a little dorky but she could see he cared for others. From what she could tell during their conversations he worked as a Forensic for the CCPD which really peaked her interest.

However her brows began to furrow as it seemed like he had something on his mind. “Everything okay Barry? You seem a little on edge right now.” The temptation to peek into his mind tugged on her curiosity but Olivia shoved it to the back of her mind, at least the crowd had thinned out so he wasn’t holding up the line. “Olivia, why don’t you take your break?” Her dark eyes looked over her shoulder seeing her co-worker gesture her to leave the counter while giving her and Barry a look.

Which is how Olivia found herself on the other side of the counter with one Barry Allen and looked up at him curiously. She forgot how much taller he was, the top of her head just barely reaching his chin. Giving him another smile only this one had a hint of concern Olivia rocked on the back of her heels, “Is everything okay Barry? You look like you want to ask me something.”

Okay, she may have taken a quick peek in his mind. Just a quick peek and only skimmed the surface of his mind. The only thing she managed to see was that he was nervous about something, nervous and excited which was interesting.

Jay Garrick/Hunter Zolomon

Hunter frowned at the female he just rescued, did she really not know who he was? Was she from this world, it would explain her not knowing who he was. Then again while he had been making his rounds as “Jay” there was always the chance of her not being from around Central City. Mentally preparing himself to play the role as the hero, Hunter took a step back as his eyes scanned her form. It didn’t seem like she was hurt, she just seemed spooked and extremely confused. He couldn’t exactly blame her as he practically swept her away to a different location.

“My apologies, my name is Jay Garrick.” His “heroic” title was on the tip of his tongue but Hunter stopped himself. If there was already a Flash in this world the last thing he needed was to bring more attention upon himself, that would come in due time. His mission right now was to find this world’s version of the Flash and gain their trust. It would be all the more sweeter to rip it away once his true identity was revealed, but first he needed to witness this world’s Flash to see if he was fast enough.

“I rescued you from that fire wielding meta-human.” His brow furrowed, maybe bringing her up on this roof wasn’t the best idea he had. Shoving his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket Hunter leaned backwards and gave the girl her space. “It doesn’t seem like you’re hurt, but you really shouldn’t be wandering around by yourself like that. You could have been attacked by an even more dangerous meta-human.” The darkness inside of him couldn’t help but scoff at the irony of his words, he was the most dangerous thing she could run into at this moment.

“Anyways ma’am, you wouldn’t be from around this city would you? I’m somewhat new around here so I’m not too familiar with this city.”

If she was from this Earth then that would work in his favor, he could use her to get familiar with this version of Central City while keeping her away from the meta’s from both worlds. That would be the extent of kindness he would extend to her as both the Flash and Zoom. If she stuck her nose in his business or became too curious, well then he would have to take care of her and he was very good at his job when it came to getting rid of his enemies. He then gave her a crooked smile, Hunter scratching the back of his head in what he hoped was a sheepish gesture, "Sorry, I didn't even get your name and I'm already asking a lot from you."
