personality : Miko is an easily embarrassed boy with a multitude of accidentally cute and girly behaviors, while others can come off as childish or dog-like (if it is that they aren't). While he conserves some of his old pride, his sudden turn into poverty has led him to become extremely weary of wasting money, leading into an obsession about saving and earning money. Every penny on the ground is a miracle to him, and in his decision making he will often take the mercenary route. In fact, there is little he refuses to do, as long as the right amount of compensation is provided , even if he is hesitant or extremely embarrassed by it. He loves eating, though he only eats tiny bits at the time, such having been the manners his mother taught him. This manners come quite useful in putting up somewhat of a facade in front of the people who she is cowardly afraid of. Those aren't the only people who can make him submit though, as albeit quite the complainer he is actually quite simple to tame and easy to submit to others. He prefers to be passive aggressive when angry and is quite the merciful, kind and understanding person. Rule-abiding, he rarely would play a prank and tends to hate surprises.
history: Miko was born the child of a rich entrepreneur and a poor, lazy man... Right upon his emergency birth at the shrine he was "gifted" with the misfortune that would follow him through his whole life (and to the blame his father's family who had since generations ignored their duties as the former keepers of that shrine): the spirits of the shrine placed a "blessing" on him to become their envoy. Of course, nobody knew about this until several years later. All heis parents and everyone around knew was how "she" was unbearably cute , to the point where his parents almost named him "Kawai".
He had a very spoiled childhood at first, with two loving parents who kept from him the constant fights they had over the fact her father never seemed to get a job or do anything in the house and his mother was hardly home. It was still really troublesome how everyone kept confusing him with a girl (problem that still persists today) and that made him the target of much teasing. Trouble truly began as he began developing some other side effects of his birth: his ears and tail. Doctors all around knew nothing of how this was possible, exorcists came out blank and only a single monk was able to explain to them the strange event that happened in Miko's birth.
This was too much for his mother who ended up divorcing his father and leaving Miko with him. Suddenly, the little boy who could barely grow found herself going from the richest of the rich to the slums, with a father who STILL refused to work.
He continued attending school on a subsidy , but worried about what he could do. The news about having been chosen by a friggin bird to be a magical girl couldn't have come at a worst time, but he was not given a choice, as he had been "chosen as an envoy by the spirits". Though even the mascot admitted it was really weird they had picked a boy (then again, the mascot didn't believe he was a boy right away either).
While having to fight evil on occasion, the powers did help to some extent. He could use the spare power he had to help him get over some tasks, allowing him to study and perform certain small essential tasks (like cleaning the house).
Recently, he managed to find a job for himself (while his father is still lazyig out) , having gone low beyond his own worst dreams: he is now a maid for the student council president, coming home only on occasion to check up on his father.

dislikes: surprises, embarrassing stuff, wasting money, being alone, being a magical girl, getting things dirty, cats

powers and limitations:
*bad luck absorption- she naturally absorbs part of the misfortune of people around her, increasing their luck and lowering her own. Certain gestures, such as licking people , can increase the effect, assuring good luck temporarily for the person in question and the opposite effect for herself.
*cuteness induction- the ability to make herself and all of her actions be perceived as cute by everyone. The stronger the resistance to the effect, the stronger the effect will be, to the point of causing hallucinations. This doesn't necessarily imply anyone will fall in love with her, be merciful, fight over her, obey, or anything as such, however the odds of that are increased and there will be an urge to cuddle. As a side effect, this ability also makes her actually act in more cute manner, most of the times involuntarily.
*blush power- getting embarrassed causes her to gain power in proportion to the embarrassment. This power is put on reserve and is used to fuel her abilities as a magical girl.
