Hair Color: Pink
Height: 5'0

Bio:
Melissa is an only child, born to Tessa and Henry Zabielski. They were quite young when they got pregnant, but they were excited to start a family. Being young parents, they didn't have much, and they definitely didn't have support from either of their families. Henry's parents were both dead, and Tessa's parents thought she could do better than Henry, so they were unsupportive of the relationship as a whole. Unbothered by what her parents wanted, Tessa left home and stayed in her relationship with Henry. Shortly after that, Tessa popped up pregnant.

Nine months later, Melissa was born, and she was perfect to her parents. But raising a baby is expensive, and it wasn't long before they were drowning in expenses. Henry knew he had to do something for his family, and working two jobs just wasn't enough. Still a young man, he set off to find a way to make extra money. His brother came back into town then, Robert Zabielski, who'd always been the black sheep of the family. He knew of a way for Henry to make extra money, but it was shady at best and would have to stay between them. Henry agreed, and before long, he was slinging drugs and other illegal goods.

A secret can never stay a secret for long though. Tessa found out, and she was in the process of packing hers and Melissa's things to leave when it happened. Robert had double crossed someone, and that someone came looking for him. He showed up at their family home, where Robert was staying too, and murdered Lissa's parents in cold blood. Robert grabbed Lissa and fled. Lissa was still a young child at this point, but she still has nightmares sometimes about that night. Robert never told her the truth of that night, but he was her uncle, and she had no reason not to trust him. So she grew up with him, and now works at his convenience shop while taking college classes.

Name: Blake Kavinski
Nickname: B
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Face Claim: Cam Gigandet
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Dirty Blonde
Height: 5'11

Personality:
ツ assertive
ツ confident
ツ focused
✘ possessive
✘ abrasive
✘ destructive

Bio:
Blake didn't have a good chance at life from the very beginning. The man who got his mother pregnant didn't want a thing to do with him, and the woman who carried him for nine months wasn't much better. The only reason she kept Blake was because of the government assistance she could get, being a single mother with low income. She spent most of that money on anything but Blake, only doing the bare minimum to keep him alive. They never connected on that mother-son level, and growing up, Blake spent most of his time alone while she had men over.

Eventually, he learned how to take care of himself. Cooking, cleaning, other basic necessities, he taught everything to himself. The men his mother brought over were worthless, almost as worthless as she was. But still, it was the only life he knew, and he thought it was normal. He was bullied at school for his secondhand clothes, his shoddy school supplies and his almost nonexistent lunches. The other kids were ruthless, but in a way, Blake is grateful for how they acted because it taught him how to take care of and defend himself. As he got older, he started getting in more and more trouble.

He dropped out of school just shy of graduation, after months of dealing with his mother's newfound drug addiction. Blake had to get a job to provide for the house, so they wouldn't lose it. But it wasn't enough, so he got in with some shady people. These people became his new family, though, especially after his mother's overdose. He buried her at the age of nineteen, sold the house and moved in with one of the guys from the gang. He was determined to make the gang his permanent home, so he did anything and everything they asked of him, and still does.

"No, those don't go there." Lissa glanced up from the register, watching as her new coworker Mila sorted the magazines on the rack in front of the counter. Even though Lissa couldn't see the rack itself, she could tell Mila wasn't putting them in the right places, and Lissa's OCD was kicking in. She'd been working at her uncle's convenience store for a few years now, and she had her own system that she taught everyone who came in. Even though Lissa wasn't a manager, everyone who worked here knew that she was Robert's niece, and that had gained her some respect with the others. Not that she needed to be respected just because he was her uncle, but she did have a way she liked things to be done in the store, and most people respected that.

Pushing off of the counter, Lissa walked around it and reached for the truck magazine Mila had just set in front of a makeup one. "If you cover up the women's magazines, no one will know we have them. I have the women's on this side, and then the men's ones here." She set the truck one in its proper place, straightening to inspect the rack for any others that might not be in the right place. She hummed under her breath when she spotted one, plucking it out of the wrong place to put it in the right one. "Don't worry, you'll get it." Lissa offered Mila a small smile, stepping out of the girl's personal space and then heading back behind the counter.

It was going on eleven pm, and the store was empty save for the two of them. The store closed in just a few short minutes, and Lissa had been in the middle of counting the drawer. She glanced at Mila before she went back to counting the money, a small frown appearing on the pink haired girls face. It was no secret that she and Mila hadn't always seen eye to eye, and Lissa wasn't trying to come across the wrong way with the whole magazine thing, she just wanted Mila to know how to do things right. Looking back down at the bills in her hand, she counted them quickly and silently before she set them in a stack off to the side. "Well, the deposit is more than we've had lately, so Robert will be happy about that." She snagged a pen off the counter, jotting down the numbers on the deposit sheet.

Just as she was writing the last number, the door to the shop flung open and Lissa's head whipped up. Her blood ran cold when she spotted the two men in masks making their way inside, the front man holding a gun, pointing it at Mila. She was closer to the masked men, but just as Lissa reached over the counter to grab her arm-- not that she was sure what exactly she was going to do-- the first man with the gun turned the barrel in her direction. "Don't move, princess." He hissed, his eyes glowering as he moved closer. Wrapping his gloved fingers around Mila's arm, he yanked her backwards, now pointing the gun at the dark haired girl again. Lissa's eyes were wide as she turned her attention to the other man. There was a baseball bat under the counter and a gun in the safe in the office, but she couldn't go for either of them at this moment.

"You ready?" Blake had been pretty quiet up until this point, sitting in the van in the empty parking lot next to the convenience store. Being the driver, Blake had been pretty focused on getting to the shop and not drawing attention to him and Jay. The van was completely white with blacked out windows, which could potentially draw attention, but it was also almost midnight and so not alot of people were out. He'd parked in the abandoned lot next to the store, which meant they didn't have a view as to who was inside, but he already knew it was just Robert's niece. She worked the late shift alot, and they'd staked out this place long and often enough to get the schedule of the employees. Sucks for her, she just seemed the easiest target.

As he slid the magazine full of bullets into the gun he was holding, Blake glanced over at Jay, who did in fact seem ready. Blake liked working with Jay, and while this seemed like a shit job, Blake trusted Jay with his life and wouldn't want just anyone beside him during it. The owner of this shop was in deep with their gang, and owed them alot of money. He'd thought he could get away with being shady, and that was definitely not the case. So Jay and Blake had been tasked with scouting out the shop and then, when the time was right, robbing it. Blake didn't have a problem with the job; he'd do whatever it took to survive and ensure that his place in the gang was secure. He hoped one day to rise in the ranks higher than he already had.

Blake lived a pretty comfortable life, and he definitely didn't plan on losing that. Grabbing the mask from the steering wheel in front of him, he pulled it on over his head and then down to cover his face as well. "Let's go." He murmured, his tone completely serious as he opened the door, grabbing the gun from his lap before he got out. Knowing Jay had his back, he headed for the store, pausing only when they reached the front so he could scan the parking lot quickly. Glancing behind him, he gave Jay a quick nod before he made a quick dash for the door, shoving it open and brandishing his gun towards the... oh, no. His eyes widened for a quick second as he surveyed the situation, realizing that he'd been wrong. There was not one but two girls in here.

But it didn't matter now. He pointed his gun at the dark haired girl, but shifted it towards the niece when she started to make a grab for her. "Don't move, princess." He breathed, moving closer to grab the dark haired girls arm and yank her to him. With her back pressed against his front, he pointed his gun at her to keep her compliant while he turned his attention to Jay. "Get the money." He nodded towards the counter, his gaze flicking back to the pink haired girl, who was now looking at Jay. "And I suggest you keep your mouth shut." He whispered to the girl in his arms, tightening his grip on her arm. "This will be over sooner than you know it."
