The Sop
1. Specialization
Specialization of your character is what his/her is good at.
Are you a demolition expert who can blow anything up ? Or are you a marksman who can hit the target with anything ? This will define an important part of your character.
Demolition man: This man is an expert in explosive weapons, grenade, mine trap, c4,... you name it. With the right tool, he can bring anything down to the ground from door, wall to buildings. And don't even forget about the art of car bomb assassination that has been around from the 70s.
Medic: Though they don't say too much about him, the doctor in the crew is probably one of the most important role nowadays. With him by your side, falling a battle isn't the end of the world, he can heal crew members back into the fight with his magic hand.
Engineer: As the new age of technology steps in, the mobs also have to follow up. In this day and age, have a better tech than the other family also mean you have a huge advantage, therefore the engineer role is something all the old dons invest a lots in. Better guns mean you have better chance to win territory and who only a genius with the right tool can help them.
Business Man: From the old time, the man whom the boss trusts most and climb rank faster isn't the man who kill most, but the man who know how to earn money. This man can see profit everywhere, even with his eyes closed, from small-time sport bet, restaurant, bar, narcotic, hotel to construction project, casino... He also knows all the trick to launder money and all the dons love him because of how much he contribute to them each month.
Marksman: The one with the guns is the gangster, no doubt about it. Whenever war or peace, the man who can shoot is always useful. A marksman can hit a target with almost everything, from handgun, riffle, sniping riffle, shotgun, grenade launcher,... Whenever there is someone whom the boss need him gone, he knows who to call.
Warrior: To some, pulling a trigger is an easy job, a true gangster can whack you with almost anything in his hand, a knife, sword, a pen, meat clever, an ice pick, or even with his bare hand he can rip you apart. There men are expert in closed range combat and fist fight, they aren't afraid to get their hand bloody. Sometimes intimidate someone in the old way is still one of the best way to make money.
Leader: If you show that you're loyal, brave and can earn well, you can be made soldier. But you're gonna have to show that you can lead your men up front if you want to step up higher in the family. Captain and Boss have to have a brilliant mind on how to treat his men or else you're just forever a soldier under somebody.
How this system work:
First when you join, you're character can pick one specialization. His/her specialization will define his/her role in the roleplay and depend on the story your role will be major or minor.
For every story chapter you complete with us, you will earn a specialization point (this mean you have to stay with us and your character have to appear in the chapter in most of the major scenes). You can use them to develop your specialization as you like, to build your character an expert in his art, or an jack of all trade character,...
To get higher rank, you will have to develop your leadership ability in the following order:
Captain: Leader level 2
Underboss/Advisor: Leader level 3
Boss: Leader level 4

2. Equipment
When you're in a family, you'll be taken care of. Because you have more responsibility now, so importantly that you'll be provided by the family so that you can be responsible and so that you can be protected and safe. Because the family is always there for you.
The equipment packs are what you're allowed to have, depend on your rank, specialization and position in the family.
Made man pack: Made men are provided by the family with modern weapons in their arsenal.
Captain pack: Captain receive high technology upgrade to himself like cybernetic limbs, jetpack, armor,...
Boss pack: Boss pack are for Boss, Underboss and Advisor, they receive top class upgrade like biological upgrade(such as controlling fire, electric, super strength) and robot bodyguard.
Those above are just suggestions so you can understand the content of what you're character can get in each position, you can think of your own kind of weapons and upgrade you like (Though I will have to "ok" it before it can make an appearance in the RP)
