bio: kal was born to two unknown parents, but eventually found himself in the care of a couple who’s last names were ’aguillard’. he lived in a daycare/orphanage place, however, the couple considered all of the children there their own. around kal's eighth birthday, the couple was brutally murdered by an intruder, one of many. the worst part of it all, kal had seen and heard it all, hiding in a nearby closet. it wasn’t only the couple who were massacred, but most of the rest of the children as well.

upon the news of their deaths, the priest nic aguillard, brother of mr.aguillard (kal's caretaker) took kal in himself. he tried to do his best to care for him, feed him, help him, but the damage was already done. kal has barely spoken but a word after the incident, and it isn’t likely that he will speak with others. he speaks to nic, but that’s still rare. nic and kal moved to welwin in search for a better life, better opportunities. once again, kal was hesitant. he wasn’t too good at making friends, and was often manipulated if not literally beat by other kids near his old residence, his old school. kal is now afraid of other kids, and is often seen flinching when others pass by or simply wave their hands near him.

Bio: Both of Nat’s parents are Brazilian, and she herself was born in Salvador, Bahia. Her parents' meeting and, quite frankly, brief and quiet relationship was in no way expected to bear fruit in the way that it did. It was no more than a one night stand, initially, the two met at a party, hooked up, and that was that, Bobs your Uncle and Fanny’s your Aunt. The two went their separate ways. Paulo was working as an apprentice in construction, hoping to eventually earn enough or get lucky on a scholarship of sorts to come and work in the States. While her Mother, Julia, was working as a cashier.

When Nathalia suddenly and unexpectedly made herself known, she inevitably changed her parents situation rather substantially. Her Mai and Pai suddenly found themselves hastily married, and now instead of flying to the States solo, Paulo now found himself with both a Wife and child to provide for.

They do get along, her parents, but that statement alone always comes with the caveat of ‘only just’. The two did find genuine kinship with each other in their first few years as a makeshift family in a foreign country. And that Kinship has formed deep bonds that aren’t crumbling away anytime soon. However, it should be noted that Paulo and Julia’s marriage was not exactly one made out of free will and choice. They often argue, almost always bicker, but most importantly, they always make-up, usually anyway…

Paulo continues to work in construction, and is currently taking night classes too, in an attempt to gain the qualifications necessary to try and found his own firm. Julia works in the local groceries, and will this week be applying for the role of manager for what will be the 23rd time in a row now. The family, both back home and now in the States, have never been particularly wealthy, but they just about make enough to scrape by day to day.

She wasn't able to exist there, due to the fear of strangers, she was a problem child, the orphanage workers got an opportunity, to send problem children to foreign countries, and Tasi was the first on the list, so she got sent to Welwin, Alberta to a foster house, it took some time for her to adapt, but as bad as the idea seemed to be, it apparently worked. Now she is attending the local school, being the opposite of her former self, a very distant, cautious person.
