Hello there and welcome to the rp for Hogwarts! No starter posts from me so feel free to start! Remember, we are starting with Hogsmeade.

While Anastasia fancied herself a busy person in between studies and training at the Dueling Club as well as taking care of animals in the Magical Creatures Club, she found joy in going to Hogsmeade every now and then. She wasn't one to go there every weekend, but it was good to relax every now and then. It was a lesson she learned the hard way when she had worked herself to near death to try and boost herself from her position in the top students. Anastasia wouldn't say she was naturally talented in spellcasting but a lot of hardwork had gone into her studies. She needed exemplary marks to at least get a job.

She rubbed her forearm. While the wolfsbane potion did help her sleep through her nights as a werewolf, it took a while for it to kick in. In that short span of time, she always managed to injure herself in one way or another. She wondered if it was because her wolf was resentful for never being able to run amok. It simply was something Anastasia couldn't afford. Lycanthropy was one thing, being one of those who had accidentally mauled a person is another. Not only would the guilt weigh on her heavily, but she doubted it would go unnoticed by the Ministry.

"Ugh..." She pressed her fingers against the nose of her bridge, feeling the onset of a headache. It had become more and more frequent recently. She chalked it up to the worry of her future looming over her. Her father had generously claimed that he would just pass down the sanctuary to her and she could start accompanying him full time as a rescuer and researcher. It wasn't a bad deal but she did want to keep her options open.

"I really need to keep myself busy so I don't think." She muttered to herself, painfully self-aware of her shortcomings. She turned to Renley, her long time friend, and elbowed her to catch her attention. "Want to grab some firewhisky at the Three Broomsticks? If you want to do anything else, we can do it with a little buzz, don't you think?"

Anastasia wasn't much of a drinker. She shared a few glasses with her mother and father when she turned seventeen, then a few more with Renley every now and then. She was careful to not allow her to fall into the habit of alcoholism or to be blackout drunk. Though she and Renley were the few among their friends who could actually drink firewhisky legally, it didn't quite stop everyone from consuming it.

"Also, did you hear? Another magical creature is going to be transferred into our reserve. Despite that, the club itself hasn't received any official reports about it. It would be nice to have some sort of heads up on what we're dealing with."

Pierre stood in the Spintwitches, waiting at the shop counter as the proprietor brought out his broomstick from the back of the store. One of his most valuable possessions, Comète Enflammée Elite, received considerable damage from an accidental collision during practice. It was beyond his ability to be repaired, so had brought to the store a week ago. Finally, it was repaired, and he could ride once more.

It was the top model at the time he got it. Elegant, sleek and blisteringly fast, anyone would have been overjoyed to get it. To him, he was disappointed that it was the brown model rather than the more showy black and gold one he had seen on the magazine. Because of it, he hurled insults to the house elf who he sent to get it, vowing he would never use it. He was a really spoiled brat then, only the intervention of his parents forbidding him from getting another forced him to use it. Now despite being out of date, becoming slower compared to recent models, he could not imagine using anything else. An example of a change in attitude he had gained the last couple of years.

Doubtless he would get anything better if he did want something else. He did not hold a lot of pocket money, and his relationship with his parents was tense. He did not want to ask for money from them, it would not be given out of generosity, it would be a cost he would not like. He tried to wipe his thought from his mind as the broom was brought to him and handed, overlooking, as new as the day he bought it. Pleased, he thanked and paid the owned before stepping out, resisting the temptation of taking it for a spin just yet.

He had barely taken a few steps out the door when he saw something that would draw his attention from broom flying. Anastasia, a fellow Ravenclaw classmate and somebody he thought highly off. Responsible for a making him better than he once was. "Ana! Ren!" He called out to the two women before taking a brisk walk towards them and careful with his just repaired broom not wanting to take it back to the store so soon. "Bonjour... I catch you two during the trip here. I wondered if you came here."

RENLEY WATTS

Unlike Ana, Renley was devoid of worry for her future. It was not because she knew she was a gifted child when it comes to almost all of their subjects, History of Magic is too boring to keep her stimulated, but because she simply didn't mind it at all. She's not the type to thinking of the future too much, always living in the moment.

"Ow." Renley muttered as her best friend had elbowed her side as she was trying to toss and catch a ball with herself. "Firewhiskey? Hell yeah! I'm also gonna grab a meal for myself then." She stated enthusiastically as she transformed her arm into an octopus tentacle to grab her ball that was dropped when her companion took her attention away from it.

The Metamorphmagus placed the ball inside her pocket, creating an awkward bulge on her robe.

"I did! I've been trying to figure out what it is but they're really keeping it all hushed." She pouted to Ana, not knowing something she was curious about is probably one of the few things that could stress Renley out. She was about to go on and tell Ana about her plans on sneaking around when someone called them from somewhere.

"Yo, Pierre! What's up? We're going to the Three Broomsticks for some drinks and food if you want to join?"h

rosetta bones.
the shy dueller.
Hogsmeade, it's the place where students come when you want some down time away from Hogwarts. Rose didn't have much of a particular reason to go today, but as Ravenclaw prefect, she found it her duty to make sure her fellow Ravenclaws were in line despite not being at the castle. And a couple of professors had asked her to go nonetheless, claiming she needed a break. She wore a comfy brown sweater, with some black ripped jeans and lastly a pair of boots, and of course her satchel on her shoulder. It was the perfect outfit for Hogsmeade, it was comfy and cozy, but also didn't restrict her movement so she could attend to any emergency and cast a spell at a moment's notice. Plus it was plain and simple, nothing all too fancy.

Right now, she was browsing the shelves at Tomes and Scrolls, one of the only store Rose actually frequented at Hogsmeade, the others being Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop and the Post Office. She had seen a few books that caught her eye, but she only had a certain number of galleons to spend. She wasn't like those rich purebloods who had hoards of money to blow through when they wanted. To get her money, she usually wrote to her father telling her she was going to Hogsmeade that weekend and he'd send over about 5 galleons, which was usually enough for her. A book with a maroon spine stuck out to her, grabbing it off of the shelf, she started to read the back of the book. It was about magic perception and a lot of different concept that interested her, and she hadn't seen this book anywhere in the library, the author was a man by Quinten Emery, she took note of that. Paying for it at the register, she has a couple galleons to spare.

Walking aimlessly through High Street, she eventually spotted three familiar faces, Ana, Ren, and Pierre. With some eyes upon her, being with her friends made her feel a bit more comfortable. "Ana, Ren, Pierre, nice to see you here!" She walked up to them and greeted politely. "So where are you all headed?" She asked. All she asked was that this group of hers wouldn't get in trouble again, she could still take away house points if she needed to, and she really didn't want to do that again.

Pierre smiled at the women gathered. He had always found himself making friends easier with women than with women. It was not really by choice, just how things seem to have worked out since coming to Hogwarts. Funny thing, before Hogwarts, he had only guy friends and terrorized girls. Was it like his motivation for other things, making up for his past crimes and overcorrected. He would try to get some more guy friends, but it was hard to do as there was one exciting episode after another. He loved them to bits, but they were serious hard work and others knew it, it was difficult to bring someone else to the mess they make.

"Just doing some odd jobs and picking up an old partner in crime who got injured." He said with a smirk showing them his broom. "The Spintwitches do great work, ma cherie is just like new." He lowered his broom. "Yeah, I would love a good dose of butterbeer and something warm to fill my stomach. If I am not a third wheel, of course."

He turns and smiled sweetly when Rose approached, her veela charm striking him like brick the moment his eyes snapped at her. She held his sight firmly, and he felt the familiar skip of his heart. Still, he was not without some self-control, he experienced her passive charm enough to build some resistance and keep his head. "Salut, we were discussing going to get a drink and bite to eat. How are you?"

Auguste

Son, you’re safe now. It’s all over. You can come home. It’s okay. It’s okay. You’re going to be okay.

What did okay even mean though?

When the Auror had crouched to lift a bloodied, exhausted, and broken Auguste’s head, the sun behind him nearly blinding the teenager, he’d seemed almost angelic to the executor.

He didn’t know if he’d ever be okay again.

What was the definition of okay when he’d spent his entire childhood in absolute ruin?

He knew what okay wasn’t when the courts had ruled that he was to be exiled from his home country, shunned, and taken to live under direct supervision of an Auror - go to school at Hogwarts. And he knew what okay wasn’t that even with the intense amount of distance from everything that Auguste knew, that he still jumped at shadows and saw people staring at him from the dark with every step.

Paranoia, after all, warps the mind in strange odd ways.

It’d taken a couple of insults, a couple of callous remarks in a soft, quiet tone to get all of the power hungry Slytherins out of the way. A jinx here, a harsh criticism there, and Auguste had achieved the closest thing to peace he’d felt in years: Complete and total social isolation.

And the rumors. The rumors that had spread after he’d scared off the sniveling little social climbers. The whispered hurried things that sometimes floated into his ears.

He was a murderer. He was half-giant. He was a Mudblood who’d come to take revenge on all of the purebloods. He had intense anger issues - he casted the Cruciatus curse on a student.

Was this what Andrew had meant when he’d whispered to him that day that he was going to be okay?

Was this what the Auror had had in mind?

He didn’t know.

Auguste, though, was released into the world. Quake in fear all ye who talk to him.

What a fucking load of shit.

He ended up somehow in the Three Broomsticks. Something inside of him shriveled up and died a little bit when the usually rowdy and rambunctious crowd went deathly silent for a whole three seconds as he slunk off to a small corner booth.

Leave me alone. God, just. Please go back to your conversations. I don’t want to talk to you as much as you don’t want to talk to me.

Eventually everyone simply… forgot about him in his brooding little corner - like his own personal jail cell.

The natural social order of things: like how they all should be.

Pihu looked at herself in the mirror. Making sure to train her eyes on her face for as long as she could. Picking out things she didn't mind or even liked. In the edges of the mirror were various photos, both moving and not. In the right corner was the moving instant camera photo of Pihu and her sister, laughing at the camera and smiling. In the left hand side was another moving photo of Pihu, Minnie, and her older sister Haewon. Haewon had her signature scowl and was rolling her eyes fondly, but Pihu and Minnie were smiling brightly, doing silly faces at each other. Most of the non moving pictures were of Pihu's mother and father, when they were younger and just married. But a few were of aesthetic landscape photos Pihu had taken around Scotland and England. There was one that was Pihu's personal favorite, a herd of grazing horses backed by the early morning sun.

Pihu stared a bit more at her face, squinting her eyes before trying on a smile. It felt fake. She thought of the time Minnie had gotten flour all over her robes when she was a first year and Pihu a fourth year. Pihu's smile widened ever so slightly and her eyes had more of a fond sparkle to them. There it was. A real smile. She took in her outfit for a minute, making sure everything was in its place and warm enough for the cooling weather. Pihu preferred the long skirts she owned over the shorter skirts of the Hogwarts uniform. A long sleeved, black turtleneck kept her arms and neck warm and she had a pair of warm, black tights. Pulling on a pair of black, heeled boots, Pihu deemed herself ready to go. She swung a bag over her shoulder and mussed her dark hair to fluff it up a bit. It was as good as it would get, but Pihu was happy nonetheless.

Tucking her wand into her skirt, Pihu made her way out of her room and into the common room. Outside the door, she quickly made her way to the entrance of Hogsmeade with many of her fellow students. She was supposed to meet both Minnie, who would be travelling for the first time as a third year, and Rayden, at the entrance. They were coming for baking and cooking supplies. She saw Minnie first, among the other third years.

"Minnie!" Pihu called, waving over the smaller girl. She smiled as Minnie came over, offering her hand in case Minnie wanted to take it to offer comfort in the throng of students and people.

Camila Rivera

Location: Hogsmeade - The Three Broomsticks

Miserable. If one word could say it all, that'd be it. Stuck in some drab room waiting for anything of interest to happen only to realize it's been 5 minutes out of 5 hours. Anyone would die of boredom trying to survive that old trap. Detention was the worst. Lucky for Camila, she had a prefect. She was friends with Ravenclaw's premiere student Rosetta, so with enough persistent annoyance she'd wormed her way into a deal. All she had to do was help keep an eye out for unruly students at Hogsmeade. Never one to back out from skipping detention she took up the offer, they'd agreed to meet at Tomes and Scrolls.

With fervor and an excitable aura about her, she strolled the streets of Hogsmeade. It was always an experience wandering about the homey village, whether it was the houses and families that made up the residential area or the bustling shops of High Street, a lively feeling never escaped the quaint town. Though it was small enough that most students could navigate without issue, keyword most. Camila was never the best at directions so much time passed without any progress on finding the store, she then started to realize that many of the buildings and corners she'd taken seemed eerily familiar. She was lost... Again. Cursing herself under her breath, she decided it was time for the brute force method and trudged on forward. No turns. Only forward.

House. House. House. Shop! No... Wait... That's also a house! This cycle of thoughts passed in and out of her head with every building she spotted. Although most would have grown tired of the directionless walking and would have tried to ask someone where to go by now, she was not going to abandon her plan. It had to work. There was no way it couldn't! With a determination made of nothing but pure stubbornness and stupidity, she continued her march forward, without any hesitation and eventually popped out into High Street. She sat down against the nearest building, pumping her arms into the air in celebration with a proud smile. Although for a minute it was replaced by confusion as she realized that she had started here in High Street but somehow ended up lost among the houses. Not wanting to dwell on whatever that could imply and still having to find Rose, she got up and began again on the trail of the damn book shop. Though it didn't take long before one thought filled her mind. This. Is. Boooooorriiiiing.

Nearby sat the Three Broomsticks, an inn and pub brimming with personality and energy, perfect for Cami's seemingly endless well of chaos. Popping in, there was a slight sigh from the inn's owner who was well aware of what she brought with her, she wasn't exactly popular but most certainly well known for her trouble and 'intense' sociability. Being the winner of Hogsmeade's Most Maimed Award last year wasn't exactly something to scoff at or completely respect, it was more accurate to say that, as with the rest of her personality, it gave her a reputation. It wasn't long before she'd found her way around some tables and quickly swiped the drink of an inattentive patron, gulping it down. It was firewhiskey, a personal favorite of hers that meant it would not be an average day at the inn. With the burst of bravery in her spirit she ordered another glass and looked around for a new friend to drag along with her. In a minute she'd spotted a quiet figure that she recognized, a Slytherin 5th year she'd seen on occasion when she'd gotten lost and ended up around their common room. She approached and hopped onto Clairabelle's table, crouching down to extend her hand for a handshake.

"Hello hi! Name's Cami! You probably don't know me but I've definitely seen you round! People call you... Jenny right?"

She watched, mildly amused, as Renley transformed her arm into a tentacle to grab the ball she had accidentally dropped. "Always hungry, aren't you?" She joked. These small moments were things she prized— say what you will about her usual exasperation with Renley but things felt easier around her. Easy enough to allow her to relax and live in the moment like her friend always has. "I'll buy our first round of drinks and we'll see where that takes us." She snickered. Nothing like liquid courage— the nonmagical kind— to inject into their bloodstream.

"With all this secrecy, I wouldn't be surprised if we're landing ourselves a dragon egg here. Though, that would be against Ministry laws..." It would be a fascinating study if they could get their hands on a dragon, but that would be far too dangerous for a school to have. Anastasia might be adventurous but she certainly wasn't stupid. "Must be a rare breed. Or a new one? I just want to—"

Pierre's voice broke their conversation and Anastasia raised a hand to wave at him. Almost as soon as Renley extended the invitation to Pierre, another familiar face came into view. "Seems like this little group always finds its way to one another, hm? We're missing a couple of heads but I doubt Camila would stay quiet for long." The day was never complete without Camila getting into some sort of trouble and dragging them along with her— either as exasperated bystanders, as a wall blocking her from escape or as accomplices. It really depended on the day and the prank.

"I'm glad your broom's back in business, Pierre. We can't let Renley here take all of the glory now can we?" She snickered. While she wasn't one for participating in Quidditch, she was well aware of the competition that came and went with the sport. Especially between Pierre, a Chaser, and Renley, a Keeper. Anastasia often found herself at odds with who she was supposed to cheer for. "And yeah, Ren and I were going to get some firewhisky and food in our system." She left it at that before gesturing for the others to continue moving. "You're all welcome to join. I think we can sneak you both a round, if you really want." She joked with a wink before continuing forward, keeping closer to Renley than the other two.

Clairabelle Cartwright

Relaxation. While Clairabelle didn't consider herself much of a bookworm it was nice to sit down and drink a nice butterbeer and catch up on her studies. Although typically Clairabelle was usually either socializing or studying and there wasn't any inbetween. Clairabelle had a habit of ending up in the most random places, the current place was none other than an empty table at the three broomsticks.

Although while the incredibly bright yet incredibly oblivious slytherin planned to simply study her book about charms that however wasn't meant to be. Her focus was brought out of the book and back into reality when another student sat down at her table and extended her hand in a greeting. She seemed to recall claire's name being jenny. Oh well, poor book you will have to wait for another day it seems.

"Oh hello there Ms. Cami. My name is Claire. Claire Cartwright. Heir to the Cartwright Family." Clairabelle said shaking the girl's hand while smiling pleasantly.
Clairabelle truly did not know who Cami was before this moment although the ravenclaw girl seemed to have seen Clairabelle before which wasn't surprising considering how much time Clairabelle spent making connections in Hogwarts.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Clairabelle asked.
Clairabelle wasn't sure what was going to happen today but she got the feeling that her day was about to be filled and it started with the ravenclaw sitting down at her table. Although she wasn't sure why she felt this way and merely shrugged it off.

Rayden

Rayden was a simple creature at heart.

Yeah, like, even he could admit it, alright? He wasn’t particularly bright - he wasn’t particularly good at, like, Pew pew pew spells bwoosh wooo magic. Things that required more than one brain cell and logic to string together

He mostly left that to like, the actual thinky smarty smart smart people. Him? He was content to just glide through life - quite literally because he was being scouted for multiple pro-Quidditch teams.

So yeah, he was, like, totally chilling, y’know? He was set letting his last year in Hogwarts breeze by which meant Hogsmeade.

Awh yeah, baby, this was it.

He was a simple person at heart. Rayden liked food and he liked Quidditch, and he liked hanging out with his little buddies. Though, his little buddies tended to vary by the day.

After all, everyone here was, like, super nice… not that he’d ever met a truly mean person.

He went out to meet his lil buddies. They could do with some buffing up, not gonna lie. Kinda small. He worried about them. Though, to be completely honest, he thought that being in peak physical condition was, like, the most important thing in this universe.

Yeah, be big n strong. Lift heavy thing. Super cool.

Whatever, he could be the big n strong one out of his lil group. Rayden walked out to greet Pihu and Minnie.

“Pihu!!! Minnie!!!” He shouted at them from across the hallway. He walked over, waving a hello as his entire face brightened. “Yoooo what’s good?!”

Rose stifled a laugh at seeing Pierre struck by her passive charm. No matter how much resistance and will-power a person has, she has always been able to tell if someone was struck by her charm after years of seeing it on people's face, her friends were no different and weren't immune to her charm. "I'm doing fine myself, bought a new book at Tomes and Scrolls." She replied to Pierre's question asking about her wellbeing. She smiled at Ren and Ana and nodded at Ana's remarks. "I agree, on both accounts. Although Cami was supposed to meet me at Tomes and Scrolls as part of her detention, knowing her, she got lost somewhere on High Street." She told the group as she walked along with them.

She had an inkling of suspicion on where Cami could be. Doubting she decided to just not show up, she assumed that she got lost somewhere on High Street. And knowing Cami, she would probably be at the place their group was heading, the Three Broomsticks. She just prayed that she wasn't making too much to a nuisance yet. Even though she was technically taking a break, according to the teachers, taking away house points was still a possibility, so her eyes were on the look out for things that break conduct, though not as vigilantly as she would back at the castle.

"I agree with Ana, plus winning matches does reward house points. So it's nice that one of our best players is back on the field, so to speak." She agreed with Ana's statement, while playfully hitting Pierre's arm while saying the last part of the sentence. "Sure, I'll join in, chances are Cami got lost and ended up there. Also no firewhiskey for me please. I kind of need to save my galleons while I can." She said to Ana and Ren. There was also another reason that she avoided alcohol, it messed with one's head and emotions, and that wasn't a risk Rose was willing to take today.

While the trio walked through Hogsmeade however, Rose kept her head down slightly, to have the sights upon her lessen, hopefully, as well as not notice the number of gazes on her herself.

RENLEY WATTS

"Of course!" She replied to Ana before laughing. It wasn't a lie though, Renley does have a bottomless pit of a stomach than most people as if she had three stomachs inside her. The mention of a dragon egg had started to make her feel giddy. Oh how exciting would that be, not just that but what if they get to ride it? She was about to excitedly theorize with her best friend when Pierre came into the conversation with his newly fixed broom.

"Ah, your broom is looking fiiiine." Renley complimented, her voice going into a falsetto as she elongated the last word at the of her sentence to Pierre as she checked out his newly fixed broom. Just the sight of it made her excited of their future battles in Quidditch. "Hey, my performance in Quidditch is certainly deserving of all the glory." She claimed smugly in a joking tone, while she very much aware that she's great at what she did, Pierre was equally amazing as a Chaser.

Then came Rose. A slight tinge of red encompasses Renley's eyes. She blinked immediately whilst keeping her focus on not blushing. "Hey Rose!" She greeted, her voice cracking ever so slightly. How embarrassing. Nevertheless, as earlier, she tried to keep her cool and walked with the group. The talk about Cami being lost wasn't any surprising news, Renley found it amusing really. Maybe she should make a map of Hogsmeade too? One day.

"I'll pay for your meal." Renley offered to Rose, it was no big deal and something that she usually does. She had more than enough to spare if she was being honest, her grandmother had left her so much fortune that her brother wanted to take for himself, most likely a thinking backed up by her parents. "It's no biggie, especially since your saving your galleons."

"Oh, there's the Three Broomsticks. Hopefully, Cami is there already."

Pierre raised an eyebrow when Ana poked the friendly rivalry between him and Ren. He wasnt one to be very competitive, except when it came to Quidditch. "Oh Ana, why must you stir trouble between us. You are just going to make it worse when I steal all of Renley's glory and leave her in my dust wondering how I got the quaffle past her." He said with a sly smile, giving Renley a wink. "In any case, thank you Ren, i suppose the sting of loss would be easier to endure when you know it is due to as much as quality equipment as well as a quality pilot."

He followed the girls towards The Three Broomsticks. He chuckled at Rose's comment and poke at him. "Sigh... I can't ride for a couple of weeks, and it appears so go Ravenclaw's chances for the house cup. Must I always carry my house... Oh, the curse of being the house MVP." He joked back at her. He listened as they mentioned Cami and the likelihood of her being lost. "Oh, am sure Cami is not lost, I am sure she will jump out from a nearby window and fall in our feet like nothing has happened. I never heard of taking defenestration as a genuine form of exiting a building. "

He looked on as Ana seemed to move closer to Renley. He found himself wonder with he started an intrusion of something between the two, feeling a little guilty. "Hey Ana, how are things in the Creatures Club? I hear there was a chance the school might bring a new litter of Nifflers." He asked.

"Got lost or purposefully didn't serve her time at detention?" She questioned, letting out a thoughtful hum. It was mostly a joke, of course. As much as she lamented watching their house points drizzle down because of Camila's antics, it was usually rather fun at the moment of seeing it. Though, as far as she knew, the girl did abide by the rules of the detention as much as possible— but as they always say, expect the unexpected.

Anastasia let out a short chuckle and shook her head. "I can't have you two becoming complacent with each other. Though I suppose your wild competitive streaks won't disappear any time soon." She turned to Rose as she brushed off the idea of getting firewhiskey alongside them. She was going to let it go— alcohol certainly wasn't for everyone and it saved them the time and the trouble of sneaking it for people who weren't of age. Renley, however, took it more as an invitation to pay for it. Instead, Anastasia just turned her attention back to Pierre. "Have a little more faith in your teammates, Pierre. You'll never know what the outcome is until it happens." It would be nice to get some extra points over it too. "I'm still not sure how Cami seems to almost always be perfectly fine after jumping out of windows." They had gotten used to it over the years that they had been friends with Camila but it never ceased to amaze and baffle Anastasia.

When they arrived at the entrance of the Three Broomsticks, Anastasia went ahead to open the door for the group. "Nifflers? That's the new batch? Ugh, no wonder they're keeping it a secret. Everyone thinks they're cute and fun to sneak out of their enclosure until your stuff goes missing." She said in a lower voice, a bit of disbelief mixed in it. Anastasia loved the little grubbers. She understood the feelings of a lot of the students who cooed and tried to sneak one out to keep as a personal pet even though it's against the rules to do so but having to manage what comes after is migraine-inducing. Not only do they have the natural instinct to grab anything that was remotely shiny, but it was also difficult to track them too. Then the blame would go to the club for not keeping a better eye on the nifflers. "If certain people knew about this latest batch, I'm sure we'd have a case of missing items sooner or later. I guess I'll have to coordinate with the others on keeping the security around the enclosure tighter for the first few days just in case someone gets a bright idea."

"You don't have to do that Ren, I wasn't planning on eating there anyway." She said to Ren in an attempt to ger the girl to save her money, even though she knew she probably had vast amounts of it, so did her other friends. Hearing Pierre's comment about not being able to ride for a couple more weeks, Rose felt a bit sad. Pierre always looked like he was having fun out on the Quidditch pitch, it must be hard to not do something you like doing. It would be like if Rose couldn't cast spells anymore. "Well, I hope you can get back on the field as soon as possible. And not just for Ravenclaw's sake, for yours as well. You always seem to enjoy yourself on the Quidditch pitch." She told Pierre, hoping to comfort him, not that he needed any consoling.

"Why do I have a feeling it could be both?" She remarked to Ana's question about Cami being either lost or trying to get out of detention. Rose didn't join in on the conversation, being content to just listening. And she didn't mind, she was always more of a listener than a talker ever since she was young. Nifflers, she heard Pierre mention and Ana somewhat confirm that, the club would be getting some. Rose herself had never seen on but she has most definitely read about them. They seemed interesting but a bit tricky to keep as pets. "I wish you luck if Nifflers are the latest batch." She told Ana as she continued walking with the group and listening to any conversation they made.
